OH Darn: The State Smoked The Weed!

Back to the drawing board for pot advocates. The ballot measure was rejected.

The state of Ohio boldly rejected the Issue 3 ballot issue. The issue was legalize marijuana usage for both recreational and medical usage. The catch is that marijuana will be grown at only 10 specific counties under the whim of private investors.

Many said the language was confusing.

Some are citing the rise in heroin usage as a reason to decline the ballot measure. Ohio, Indiana and Illinois lead in heroin deaths in the Midwest.

The supporters of Legalize Ohio and their creepy mascot Budd-E go down in a major defeat.

The ballot measure would have granted Ohio full legalization of marijuana. However it will only be unfettered government control of grow operations by a handpick group of business executives.

Nick Lachey, the former pop star and reality television host and a handful of celebrities and politicos throw their weight into Issue 3.
The Legalize Ohio
Issue 3 would have legalized marijuana for recreational smoking and in edible form for Ohioans 21 or older, and in medicinal form for those of any age with qualifying medical conditions. Commercial growth was to be controlled for at least the first four years by investment groups at 10 specified locations around the state.

The word "monopoly" was the word inserted in the ballot measure. Issue 2 would prevent a sole private entity from owning all access to marijuana grow centers. Issue 3 would legalize it statewide, but keep it strictly grown in these select areas.

Since The Law Concluded The Illinois Cop Killed Himself, Who Takes The Blame?

This undated file photo provided by the Fox Lake Police Department shows Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz, who was fatally shot in September 2015, in Fox Lake, Ill.
The FBI concluded that lawman from Fox Lake killed himself.

G.I. Joe as many in the town of Fox Lake called him, took his own life. He placed the blame on two white guys and the "SCARY BLACK GUY". This incident got the conservative agitators blaming #BlackLivesMatter and President Barack Obama for the death. Instead of blaming the suspect, the agitators would say that the activists and their rhetoric were responsible for the death.

Hence forth: the blame game.

This sparked a national search for suspects involved. When the leads turned cold, the law decided to do ballastic test on the victim. They determined that the wounds suffered were self-inflicted.

The FBI and the Illinois State Police concluded that the Fox Loke lawman Charles Joseph Gliniewicz used his own weapon on himself. He put the slugs in his bulletproof vest. That impact was "like a sledgehammer hitting you in the chest". Then he pointed the service weapon in his temple of his chest and let the slug hit him in the vitals.

At first report, Gliniewicz said that he was pursuing suspects around a campsite. Then there was radio silence. The law found Gliniewicz on the ground in a pool of blood.

After Gliniewicz's shooting, a massive manhunt ensued, with hundreds of officers searching houses, cabins and even boats on a chain of area lakes. Authorities released a vague description of three suspects, though no one was ever arrested.

Flags flew at half-staff in honor of the 30-year police veteran after the shooting in Fox Lake, a close-knit community of 10,000 residents located about 50 miles north of Chicago. Signs with the officer's picture hung in storefront windows.

The tattooed officer with a shaved head was described by those who knew him as tough when needed, but also as sweet and a role model to youngsters aspiring to go into law enforcement.

More than 100 investigators stayed on the case for weeks, though questions arose in mid-September, and investigators began to concede that they could not rule out suicide or an accident.

One hint came when Lake County Coroner Dr. Thomas Rudd announced that Gliniewicz was killed by a "single devastating" shot to his chest. That prompted an angry response from Filenko, who said the release of such details put "the entire case at risk."

Gliniewicz's family dismissed the suggestion of suicide. His son D.J. Gliniewicz said his father "never once" thought of taking his own life, and described how his dad spoke excitedly about what he planned to do after retiring.

Gliniewicz had four children.

Insurgent Wins Kentucky Governor's Race!

Matt Bevin responds to a question during the League of Women Voters debate, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, in Richmond, Ky. (AP Photo/Timothy D. Easley)
Governor-elect Matt Bevin. The controversial Republican businessman won the Kentucky governor's race.

He's perennial no more. Insurgent candidate Matt Bevin eeks a victory against Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway. Bevin, an insurgent backed businessman was a risky choice for the Republicans.

The Republicans didn't put too much money in this race. And now it's likely Bevin may return the favor to the Republicans. The establishment should be concern with this. They didn't help him throughout his campaign. I can bet you that Donald Trump and Ben Carson will try to use Bevin as an example of conservatives winning without being "politically correct".

Bevin ran ads throwing Conway into the Obama den.

This Kentucky healthcare exchange could be at risk if Bevin decides to scrap the idea.

Kim Davis must have been a contributing factor to Bevin's victory. Earlier this year, Davis, a county clerk was jailed for refusing to follow federal order to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.

Republicans are now motivated with this win. Democrats now hold 17 governorships and Republicans now hold 33.

Bevin will be like Terry Brandstad, Paul LaPage, and Scott Walker.

Bluegrass State voters took to the polls on Tuesday to elect Bevin, who will replace outgoing Gov. Steve Beshear (D). He defeated Democrat Jack Conway and Independent candidate Drew Curtis.

Bevin, only the second Republican elected to Kentucky's highest office in 40 years, is best known for his insurgent-backed challenge to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in the 2014 GOP primary for Kentucky's Senate race. He announced his run for governor in January, going on to defeat other Republican gubernatorial hopefuls, including former state Supreme Court Justice Will Scott and State Agriculture Commissioner James Comer.

Conway, who first announced his intent to run for governor in May 2014, has served as Kentucky's attorney general since 2008. He ran against Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in 2010 and lost. Before that, he was a private attorney.

Conway and Bevin took part in several heated exchanges leading up to Election Day, with The Courier-Journal reporting the insurgent accused Conway of "lying" during a recent debate.

This election has also put Medicaid expansion in the spotlight, the AP reported last month. Bevin pushed to repeal and replace Kynect, Kentucky's health coverage program, while Conway argued to continue the Medicaid expansion -- which saw twice as many people signed up in the first year as state officials had predicted -- unchanged.

Fans Of The View Call For Cannon Fire!

Calls for a cannon fire plague entertainer Raven-Symone.

One too many slips now has the former child star facing a backlash.

Raven-Symone (Pearman) started co-hosting The View in April. She was formally introduced to the program during the Fall season. Now six months in, many fans of the daytime talk show are calling for her removal.

In the wake of Officer Slam, the entertainer said the cop went out of line when did his take down of the teen. However, she slammed the teen for not listening to the cop.

She basically said that the teen should have put her damn phone up.

Officer Slam (formerly known as Ben Fields) was fired out the cannon last week.

I've heard a handful of students weren't happy about his cannon fire. The conservative agitators were promoting the counter-protest. Some students walked out of class in support of the now former South Carolina deputy for the Richland County sheriff's department.

There's a petition calling for ABC to fire the entertainer out the cannon. So far they see the entertainer as a goldmine. They consider her the Black version of Rosie O'Donnell.

The five most outrageous comments.

1) Defending Officer Slam
2) Watermelondrea
3) I'm A Celebrity And I Take Selifes
4) Defending a Spanish host after he called First Lady Michelle Obama an "ape"
5) $20 Harriett Tubman

On Change.org, there's a petition calling for a cannon fire. So far over 135,000 people signed on to the petition. I am guessing that Raven-Symone signed it too as a middle finger to those who want to throw "political correctness" around.

Che Scott-Heron, the U.K. woman who started the petition, wrote on the petition's website that Raven's statements only hurt the black community.

"African Americans and black people around the diaspora need a voice representative of their views and not a voice representative of what white people want us to say." Heron wrote. "We need strong black role models in prominent positions on television and Raven-Symoné cannot provide that. That is why I ask that we petition to remove her from 'The View.'"

As the daytime talk show enters its 19th season, ratings are down. CBS daytime's The Talk enters its 6th season within striking distance of The View. The second quarter ratings bested The View.

By the way, the third worst person to host a cable news show got a petition calling for his cannon fire. Don Lemon also faced a backlash after he got a kick out watching Officer Slam flipping the teen.

Rachel Dolezal: We're All Children Of Africa!

I'm proud to be...me! Rachel Dolezal comes out of hiding to tell the public that she's pregnant. By the way, she's White.

The former NAACP president who brought her "faux pas" to the junk food media announced she is pregnant. Oh, by the way, she admits that she is a White woman. She's also admits she's bisexual.

This woman is a hot mess.

Rachel Dolezal became a lightening rod for the agitators in the media. Despite all the good she's done for the civil rights organization, she hid the fact that she was a White woman portraying herself as a Black woman.

Dolezal's own parents "outed" her as a White woman. They told the junk food media that she was born in Montana. She wasn't adopted. She does volunteer work for the community. She was infatuated with Black culture. She lied to get into Howard University. She married a Black man. She adopted two Black teen boys. She even tries to talk "Black".

The junk food media sought interviews with her and wanted to know why did she fake the funk!

Dolezal refuses to be called a White woman. She says that she's a product of African roots.

The Real got an opportunity to talk to her.

She also addresses her feud with her family.

The Real co-hosts Tamar Braxton and Loni Love asked Dolezal about the matter sans pretense.

“It was hurtful to a lot of Black women,” said Love. “There were some people who felt that you never identified yourself as white so when you went to Howard University. Some people felt like they never knew you were Black, and so maybe the scholarship, you know when you got admitted to Howard, that took an opportunity from a Black woman.”
Rachel Dolezal talks about her ordeal and her pregnancy. She gets a grilling from Loni Love and Tamar Braxton.
“Right, and that’s why I said, I acknowledge that I was biologically born white to white parents, but I identify as Black,” Dolezal responded.

Whether or not her admitting to being born white was enough, Braxton pushed the issue further and asked what ethnicity Dolezal lists herself as in official forms and documentation. Say, if she were to fill out a job application. Dolezal’s response?

“The form in particular usually defines things,” she said, before adding: “I check white and black, because we all have human origins in the continent of Africa.”

Dolezal did receive a standing ovation from the crowd for admitting her white heritage, as well as for her supposedly being honest while answering the co-hosts’ questions.

Larry Lessig Is The Odd Man Out!

Harvard professor Lawrence Lessig ends his presidential run.

Now the Democrats have three candidates.

Harvard professor Larry Lessig bows out. He wanted to take big money out of these elections. Lessig believes that the junk food media wasn't taking his candidacy seriously.

By him bowing out of the race, it leaves Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Hillary Clinton and Martin O'Malley.

Clinton is leading in most polls. Bernie is catching up. O'Malley is still a blip on the radar.

Lessig is likely going to endorse a Green Party candidate. He, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee are pretty upset with Democratic National Party leader Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) and co-chair Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI).

The two lawmakers are feuding over the direction of the party.

Lessig believes that the Democrats are totally fucked up. They banned him from the debates. Even though he ranked at 1.3% in the national polls, the DNC says that he's not qualified.

I am guessing that he'll avoid endorsing the candidates. I am certain that he'll throw his chips into the Green Party and their possible candidate Dr. Jill Stein.

Springfield, Ohio Lost Its Target!

Target announces another round of closings. Springfield, Ohio loses its only store.

Springfield, Ohio was dealt a blow. The Minneapolis based retailer announced another round of closings. The closings are affecting areas where they claim sales are in decline.

In the latest rounds of closings, the First Avenue location is on the list. The only Target store in the area will close in January.

That leaves Dayton metropolitan area four area locations. Huber Heights, Beavercreek, Centerville, and Miamisburg locations are still open for the time being.

Since 2013, the areas surrounding the Upper Valley Mall and Bechtle Avenue shopping district were hit with retail closing up.

When it was announced J.C. Penny and Macy's were closing in the same period, it put the nail in the coffin for the Upper Valley Mall. It's now declared a dead mall.

Springfield Ohio's only Target store is closing.
The mall is in receivership and the property's only anchor store Sears is considering closing.

The property hasn't secure a major anchor since the announcement.

The Bon Ton Corporation which owns Dayton-based Elder-Beerman closed first. Then Macy's and later J.C. Penny.

The Springfield city and township leaders are hoping that Hobby Lobby and Dick's Sporting Goods brings a little bit of good news to the area.

The Columbus area took a hit as well. Despite having the Hollywood Casino in the area, the Westland Mall is officially dead and everything around it is dying as well.

The Target Graceland location on West Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio is closing in January.

Target had closed all its Canadian stores in 2014-15. The 133 stores operated independently of the Target Corporation. It pull completely out of the country.

Target is trying to rebrand its image. They recently aired promotional for The Peanuts Movie and a cameo appearance from Brian and Stewie from Fox's Family Guy.

The Bluegrass Gubna's Race!

Insurgent Matt Bevin shakes hands with Democrat in name only Attorney General Jack Conway.

The state is Cook Political Voting index value +13 Republican. The state supported George W. Bush, John McCain and perennial loser Mitt Romney. The last Democrat in national office to win this state was Bill Clinton. The state has a term limit governor. And now is it possible that Democrats can hold on to a state that supports Republicans in 2:1 ratio?

Democrats in Kentucky are voting for Republicans.

These so-called Reagan Democrats exist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

There's a razor thin lead for the Democratic nominee against the Republican nominee. The nominees are both worthless. They are also-rans who lack charisma.

But one thing could impact this election: Medicare. Kentucky voters support the state's health care exchange. They don't see it as Obamacare. They see it as "healthy Kentucky".

Republicans didn't pour a lot of money into insurgent Matt Bevin's campaign. Bevin is a perennial candidate for House, Senate and now the governor's race. Bevin is determined to make a name for himself.

Conway is a perennial candidate who lost to Rand Paul in 2010. He just kept a low profile for the time and decided that it could better choice to run for governor than a rematch against Paul.

The conservative agitators have ignored Bevin. Even during the Kim Davis fiasco, Republicans haven't put much into this race.

Many see Bevin as out of the mainstream. But does it mean it's not capable of pulling it off?

Hell Bevin could win this.

Democrats ain't really got much to celebrate. Whether Conway wins or not, they can't rely on him.

I can picture Conway being a thorn in President Barack Obama's skin. He will find ways to blame the president for "attacking the coal industry".

Ted Cruz: I Rather Have Moderators Like Limbaugh, Hannity And Beck!

The Texas senator lit a fire in the conservatives. When he was asked a question about his opposition to raising the debt ceiling and budget bill, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that the question represents why the public (i.e. conservatives) don't trust the media.

That set off a week of concern trolling. They seriously believe that the moderators were bias to them.

Cruz went to that right wing network to talk to the most annoying conservative agitator on cable news. He said that he rather have him. that old fart Limbaugh, that ratface Mark Levin and crazy snot Glenn Beck moderate the next debates.

Cruz said that the RNC must vet moderators. Question them on their voting standings.

This is the aftermath of the CNBC Republican debate. The Republicans once again bitching about the debate rules. They have demands.

They are now feuding with the RNC chief Reince Priebus over how they handle debates. Some of the demands include luxury green rooms, bloviating time and a list of many other concerns.

On Friday, the RNC dumped NBC News from sponsoring a Feb. 26 debate of presidential candidates in the fallout over the debate conducted by media partner CNBC last Wednesday that was roundly criticized by the candidates.

Several campaigns want to change the debate format because of concerns that too many candidates in the crowded Republican field for the party's 2016 presidential nomination are on stage and do not get enough time to speak.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus cited "bad faith" in announcing the party will suspend its partnership with NBC News for the February debate to be held in Houston. Telemundo and the National Review are co-sponsors of the event.
Will the Republicans bashing of the junk food media backfire?
Priebus told NBC in a letter that the committee wanted to ensure its candidates would be given a "full and fair" opportunity to lay out their political visions.

The CNBC debate in Boulder, Colorado, last Wednesday was designed to be devoted to discussing the candidates' views on how to improve the U.S. economy, but frequently strayed from that theme and the moderators struggled to maintain control.

"While debates are meant to include tough questions and contrast candidates' visions and policies for the future of America, CNBC's moderators engaged in a series of 'gotcha' questions, petty and mean-spirited in tone, and designed to embarrass our candidates," Priebus wrote.

The Republican National Committee, facing growing concerns by some presidential candidates about the format of future debates after last week's contentious encounter on CNBC, has appointed an official to work with the campaigns and TV networks.

An RNC official said on Sunday the committee named its chief operating officer, Sean Cairncross, to help negotiate debate terms with the networks.

Fred Thompson Passed Away!

Fred Thompson and his wife, author Jeri.

Fred Thompson was a senator, presidential candidate, talk radio host and actor. He gained critical acclaim as being the hardliner Manhattan District Attorney Arthur Branch on Law & Order.

The former Tennessee senator and 2008 Republican presidential candidate passed away today confirms his family. He passed away in his hometown of Nashville, TN today.

CNN reports that Thompson had cancer.

Thompson died after a recurrence of lymphoma, his family said in a statement Sunday. He was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma more than a decade ago.

"It is with a heavy heart and a deep sense of grief that we share the passing of our brother, husband, father, and grandfather who died peacefully in Nashville surrounded by his family," the statement read.

Thompson, a Republican, won a special election in 1994 to fill Al Gore's vacate U.S. Senate seat. He was re-elected for a full term two years later and announced in 2002 that he would not run again.

As an actor, Thompson appeared in the films "The Hunt for Red October," "Die Hard 2" and "In the Line of Fire," among others.

"Fred stood on principle and common sense, and had a deep love for and connection with the people across Tennessee whom he had the privilege to serve in the United States Senate. He enjoyed a hearty laugh, a strong handshake, a good cigar, and a healthy dose of humility," his family said.

"Fred was the same man on the floor of the Senate, the movie studio, or the town square of Lawrenceburg, his home."

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Fred Thompson.

Mass Murder In America!

Another mass shooting in the United States. This one happened in Colorado Springs.

Over the Halloween weekend, there were many events in the United States. And since the Umpqua Community College shooting in October, there's been mass shootings.

I am sadden by the latest events in which innocent lives are taken by senseless gun violence. From my community of Dayton, Ohio all the way to Colorado Springs, I've heard talk about gun violence.

We've become numb to gun violence.

In a 30 minute rampage in the early morning, the terrorist went ahead and start to buck and buck.

He shot a man riding his bicycle. He shot two women standing outside the driveway. A witness rushed to their aid. He could save these victims. The law was called. The gunman was anticipating the encounter.

He wanted to be killed by the law. The Colorado Springs Police and the FBI are going to investigate the shooting.

The suspect was accused of attempted first-degree murder after allegedly wounding a police officer in rural Tennessee and shooting at a Kentucky trooper later that day across the border, Kentucky State Police said.
