Yeah, it is outrage over words and not policies.
Laura Lommer, Rula Jabreal and Hasan Piker have riled up the Democratic Party.
Many of the prominent Democrats who posted on social media did not come to the defense of Angie Nixon, the surprise Democratic nominee for Florida.
Bakari Sellers called her a "lost cause."
Angie Nixon winning the Democratic nomination for Florida's 2026 U.S. Senate special election, political commentator Sellers argued on Native Land Pod that national Democrats should redirect limited campaign funds away from long-shot races in Florida and toward more flippable seats in states like Ohio and North Carolina.
Nixon was called a "ghetto Black bitch" and Sellers said nothing.
The Democratic Party members who rock with Israel were tepid or not responding to it.
But let it be Hasan Piker or Rula Jabreal.
Democratic members of the House and Senate quickly rushed to their social media to condemn Piker and Jabreal. Their criticism of AIPAC and Israel's association with top members have become contentious. Piker said that Israel has put Jewish Americans in a position of danger. He said the actions of that apartheid genocidial ethnostate is not representative of Jewish faith. Yet, he said that many Zionists will equate Israel with Judaism and it makes folks believe Jews control the narrative. He said that Israel's action leads to violence for Jews. It earned a swift condemnation from Democrats.
It was constantly mentioned by the most fiercest defenders of Israel. It was endless played on CNN, MS Now, NewsNation, Newsmax and especially on Fox.
Abdul El-Sayed had to publicly distance himself from Piker because he is constantly being dogged down with endless questions about him.
Now Jabreal is facing criticism and condemnation because she labeled House Minority Leader, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) an "AIPAC Monkey" in a tweet. Of course, she was called out for it and deleted in social media. However, the noise got loud quick.
Prominent pro Israel Democrats immediately condemned her. She appeared on The Joy Reid Show Podcast with her correspondent Wejahat Ali. On Ali's podcast, Jabreal apologized for the monkey reference. She did not apologize for calling out Jeffries for being influnced by AIPAC.
Jeffries caught flack for his secret meeting with Jared Kushner.
The House member also allowed his caucus to vote with Republican menbers to denounce socialism and the Democratic Socialists of America. Reps. Hillary Scholten (D-MI), Tom Suozzi (D-NY), Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) tried to incorporate their version to condemn Piker.
Jeffries allowed members to publicly vote to strip away federal funds from colleges and universities if they allow faculty or students boycott Israel. Gottheimer and Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) drafted a bill that allocates appropriations away from public institutions if they divest in Israel. They claim it is to combat antisemitism and make Jewish (IDF soliders living in the U.S.) feel safe while on U.S. colleges. The bill passed and it will head to the Senate. It faces an uphill battle but could pass and President Donald J. Trump could sign it into law.

Remember the law that forced ByteDance to divest from TikTok. It was one of former president Joe Biden's biggest blunders of his term. He signed into law to ban TikTok because of the "security threats" it posed. They claimed it was because of China having personal data. Patently false. TikTok U.S. was eventually sold to Oracle and is controlled by David Ellison of Paramount Skydance. Ellison and his father, Larry are trying to close the deal to own Warner Bros. Discovery. Biden's support of the TikTok ban cost him his second term and former vice president Kamala Harris her historical victory.
TikTok at one time was extremely popular with pro Palestinians content. It influenced a growing movement of young voters who felt the U.S. government was allowing Israel to get away with murder. The Anti Defamation League, AIPAC and other groups lobbied Congress to pass the TikTok ban because in the words of Jonathan Greenblatt, "
"We really have a TikTok problem, a Gen Z problem... We have a major generational problem in the United States and the numbers of young people who think that Hamas', you know, massacre was justified is shockingly and terrifyingly high.
It's not a left and right problem, it's a young and old problem. The same brains that gave us Taglit [Birthright Israel], the same brains that gave us all of these amazing other innovations, need to put our energy towards this, like fast."
The push to ban TikTok led to a backlash that Trump, a former supporter of the ban to capitalize on.
The U.S. fighting a war in Iran and is triggering a global war.
Trump's war with Iran has screwed up the world. The Strait of Hormuz carries over 20% of the world's oil and trade. Iran effectively put the world on blast. They said that for years, the U.S. and Israel bullied countries into submission. They are not scared of them and knew the day would come when they can place their bargaining chip on the table.
Many progressives are frustrated with Democrats putting Israel ahead of their base.
I am basically saying that Jeffries will be "Kevin McCarthy with a tan."
I am Black and frustrated with MAGA, do nothing Democrats and the status quo.
It is time for the U.S. to focus on the people instead of the chaos overseas. It is time to dump Israel and Zionism.
