Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are ignorant. I am extremely disturbed by the rhetoric of those who support these candidates in the Republican race. I am expected to be bothered by the supporters who seriously believe that "gun violence" is just something that happens in Black neighborhoods and Muslim terrorist.
I am disturbed by the shooting in Kalamazoo by a 45-year old terrorist who happens to be some White guy who was the alleged "NICE GUY".
The suspect is in county lockup on capital murder. He is innocent until proven guilty. I know the name of the terrorist. It's Jason Dalton, a White guy from Kalamazoo.
The terrorist killed seven people before he was taken into custody without a single shot fired.
What makes me mad is the fact that the San Bernardino shooters were "terrorists" and the Kalamazoo shooter is "_________".
In the last post, I seen who actually deserves the "blame" for the shooting.
A conservative troll would place the fault of this terrorist on Barack Obama.
I am not too worried about the concern troll. I am more concerned that these mass shootings will keep happening and Congress will not do anything to stop them.
The inept actions of Congress will continue to allow mentally disturbed or rational minded terrorists obtain firearms and disturb the lives of innocent Americans.
The person who deserves most of the blame is the shooter. But if things could happen today, I would damn sure hope we get elected leaders who will do something to stop gun violence.
There were three mass shootings in the United States this year alone. This one manages to catch the attention of the junk food media, the White House, and the presidential candidates.
Of course, who is responsible for the tragic overnight shooting in the city of Kalamazoo about 50 miles south of Grand Rapids?
Who takes the blame for the Kalamazoo shooting massacre?
Some armed terrorist disrupts the lives of innocent Americans because of some failure in his life.
The warning signs were ignored by family or friends. The terrorist was a nice guy who was engaged in activities some thought were strange. They never expected to happen in their own city.
We hear about this stuff in other areas, but why here?
That's the usual comments from those who were either witnesses or members of this terrorist family.
I expect it to be a mass murder tragedy. And of course, I hear the same old word vomit from our politicians. The Republicans would offer prayers to the victims. They won't lift a damn finger to controlling gun violence. They'll concern troll about how it's Blacks on whatever violence. They'll concern troll about how the scourge of "radical Islam" is a bigger threat than an American who stockpiles firearms for the "end of days".
They'll say that President Barack Obama will politicize this tragedy. What should he do?
Ignore these tragedies for you guys to attack him for not being concerned about the safety of Americans.
Okay, the news breaking overnight says that a terrorist had randomly shot at people in the area.
Numerous causalities and fatalities. We can't confirm or determine the suspect or motive.
The law is searching for this type of vehicle. Witnesses say that the terrorist may be in this vehicle.
Police in Kalamazoo County are searching for a terrorist who is randomly shooting people, at least four have been killed.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told 24 Hour News 8 (WOOD TV) that multiple were fatally shot at the Cracker Barrel in Texas Township and Seelye Kia dealership, located at 3820 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.
Matyas says the suspect is driving around randomly shooting people. Police believe the suspect is white man who is driving a blue Chevy HHR.
Police say six people were killed at the Cracker Barrel.
A woman was shot multiple times in the Meadows Townhomes in Richland Township.
As expected, President Barack Obama, Governor Rick Synder, Democratic Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters and Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) were notified of the situation.
World News Today send our condolences to the victims of this senseless tragedy.
It looks like the Bush legacy ends in South Carolina. John Ellis Bush, the son and brother of two living presidents isn't going to have his moment in the sun.
The former front runner at one point has finally decided the end is now. The former Florida governor suspends his campaign after a disappointing finish in the South Carolina primary.
At age, 63, Bush had entered the race as a presumed favorite for the Republican nomination last summer with a big war chest. He had nearly $130 million and was shattering records in fundraising.
His fall began when Donald Trump got into the race. He was labeled establishment and he wore that with a pride. That proved to be noose around his neck. His famous name spelled disaster. Many Republicans weren't keen to the Bush legacy. Given the political back scratching and political insiders who wanted Bush to be the nominee.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a failed presidential candidate was one of the major endorsers of the Bush campaign. Bush even brought out the big guns. Former first ladies Barbara and Laura Bush and brother George W. Bush came out in full swing for the embattled politico.
Bush saw his stock tumble in the New Hampshire primary. He thought he could score a huge upset against Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. It turned out to be a disaster. So he was hoping his brother's star power could help score a second or third finish in the South Carolina primary. A strong victory would have given him some life. Nope.
Bush's biggest blow came when South Carolina governor Nikki Haley endorsed nemesis Marco Rubio over him. Bush felt that was disrespectful that she would pick a relatively unaccomplished politician over him.
Trump also hammered Bush on his brother's failures with 9/11 and the two wars. That was sacred ground for Republicans not to blame Bush for failure. Trump kicked that over with no remorse. He said that Bush is "low energy" and that stuck to him like glue.
Trump's real victory is knocking Bush out.
Now the insurgency has truly taken over the Republican Party.
If we elect a man who devotes his rhetoric to the ugliest elements of America, we're going to have a civil war. Certainly Democrats and Republicans better take note. Trump has tapped into the conservative movement. His rhetoric has driven White extremism to unprecedented highs.
I would have rather had Bush or John Kasich as the president if given the choice for a Republican nominee.
With Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush out the race, there's no possibility of a candidate who can bring the party together. Rubio is their last hope. If the Florida senator fails at winning any more elections, it will upset the balance.
Republicans are now the party of the Angry White Man! And it's unfortunate, they're proud of that!
The South Carolina Republican Primary and the Nevada Caucus. Congratulations to Donald J. Trump and Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton on winning.
Donald Trump took the victory in the most bitterly fought primary. It became a huge defeat for not only Ted Cruz, but Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and Jeb Bush. John Kasich still has some breath of life left in him. Rubio and Cruz will continue to fight to the bitter end.
Donald Trump has won the South Carolina primary, according to projections from the AP, CBS News, NBC News, and Fox News. It's the second victory in a row for the billionaire, who looks to have about 34% of the vote. This in spite of exit polls that showed that some four in 10 voters made up their minds at the last minute and many broke for Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who are still locked in a battle for second and third place at around 21% of the vote. Jeb Bush is running a distant fourth place, and faces some hard decisions as his fundraising dries up.
Hillary Clinton managed to beat Bernie Sanders in the Nevada caucus. It was considered one of the toughest fights for the former secretary of state. Agitators in the junk food media were hoping that Sanders was going to upset Clinton in the race.
Clinton avoided a "dramatic setback" with the win. And the Hill states it will "calm some nerves" after Sanders nearly beat both expectations and Clinton in the state. Sanders managed to turn a double-digit deficit in earlier polls into a narrow loss. The results of the caucus were called about two hours after it started.
The win gives Clinton some momentum with the South Carolina primary and Super Tuesday coming up. She also now has evidence that 2016 will play out differently than her 2008 contest against Obama and that she is more electable than Sanders. But it wasn't all good news for Clinton. She underperformed among Latino voters and isn't getting "fervent support" from young people. New Republic notes this "enthusiasm gap" could hurt her in the general election.
The iconic writer of the book How to Kill a Mockingbird passed away today. The Associated Press reports that Harper Lee passed away at the age of 89.
World News Today send our condolences to the family of Harper Lee.
Nelle Harper Lee was born and raised in the small town of Monroeville, Alabama, on April 28, 1926. She was the youngest of four children born to newspaper editor and lawyer Amasa Coleman Lee and homemaker Frances Cunningham Finch.
Lee grew up a tomboy. She was close childhood friends with Truman Capote, an eccentric child who would later become the famed writer of the acclaimed 1966 non-fiction work In Cold Blood and a lifelong friend to Lee.
Lee graduated high school in the spring of 1944. The following fall, she enrolled in the all-female Huntingdon College before transferring to the University of Alabama. Lee, set on pursuing a career in writing, dropped out of college in her senior year to move to New York City.
The city had a profound effect on the trajectory of Lee's writing career, connecting her with Broadway composer Michael Martin Brown who would become an important financial backer and one of her most avid supporters.
In 1956, she reunited with Capote and began work as his research assistant for a New Yorker article that later evolved into the book In Cold Blood.
That same year, Brown generously offered to financially support Lee for a year so she could focus on writing full time.
To Kill a Mockingbird found immediate success in literary circles. Peppered with autobiographical elements, Lee's debut novel was set in the mid-1930s in small-town Alabama and follows the story of precocious child Scout Finch and her father, Atticus. Atticus, a lawyer reminiscent of Lee's own father, is appointed by a judge to defend Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a young white woman.
To Kill a Mockingbird documents Robinson's trial and tackles the themes of racial injustice and traditional class and gender roles. The book was enthusiastically received, with the New Yorker touting it as "totally ingenious," and became an international bestseller.
Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. Brock Peters as Tom Robinson.
The film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird was released in 1962 and starred Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. The film won three Academy Awards and earned a spot in the American Film Institute's list of the greatest American movies of all time.
In 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson appointed Lee to the National Council on the Arts. Though Lee invested time in researching and preparing new work after To Kill a Mockingbird, including a true-crime novel called The Reverend, she didn't publish another book until more than 50 years later.
In 2007, President George W. Bush awarded Lee the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the first of several high honors. She received the National Medal of Arts, presented to her by President Barack Obama, in 2010.
Lee left New York City in 2007 and moved into an assisted-living facility in her hometown of Monroeville after suffering a stroke.
Last July, Go Set a Watchman, a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird, was released. The highly anticipated novel was Lee's second and final published book. The manuscript, thought to have been lost, was discovered in one of Lee's safety deposit boxes by her lawyer Tonja Cater in 2011.
Lee's failing health, including severe hearing and vision loss, led many to speculate that the author wasn't competent enough to sign off on the publication of Go Set a Watchman.
The Alabama Department of Human Resources launched an investigation in 2015 to examine whether elder abuse influenced the release of the sequel but ultimately determined the claims to be "unfounded."
Harper Lee kept a quiet life. Never gave many interviews and lived in Alabama as a reclusive.
Go Set a Watchman revisits a now 26-year-old Scout, who encounters intolerance in her small Alabama hometown while visiting from New York. Readers -- and Scout herself -- are surprised to find that her father, regarded by many literary critics as a fictional crusader for racial justice, has a less-than-progressive stance on race issues. Atticus argues with Scout about civil rights, telling his daughter that "the Negroes down here are still in their childhood as a people" and that black people aren't ready to vote.
The book received mostly negative reviews, as readers were shocked to find their once beloved civil rights-defending protagonist exposed as a "racist." Many critics agreed the novel could have used several more rounds of edits, calling it "unfit for print" and a "mess." Some said the "rough draft" was published only for the sake of constructing a "phony literary event."
Lee is pre-deceased by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
The author lived a private life. She never married or had children, and she rarely gave interviews.
"I want to do the best I can with the talent God gave me," Lee said in 1964. "I would like to leave some record of the kind of life that existed in a very small world."
The Unit in 2003. Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, The Game and 50 Cent.
The Game and Lloyd Banks pose for a social media photo. It kind of seems like it's 50 Cent isn't keen to Banks posing with Game.
Game and his crew saw Banks and his crew in the playground of Dubai. They were cordial enough to take a picture together. No guns drawn. No fists or insults on each others.
A photo posted by The Game (@losangelesconfidential) on
All peace and respect. But it didn't go good for the Unit 's capo.
50 is taking a jab at the two for the picture. He says that this is the biggest confusion to hit him.
Before he scrubbed the post on Instagram, 50 said, "What do you see when you look at this picture? I see confusion, I'm not sure if it's just me, I'm a Cancer shit don't get old with me," wrote the Queens rapper. "I never ask for trouble but I really don't have a problem with it I'm different. The question isn't how I feel about it, but how dose ( Lodi Mac ) feel about it? Some shit is just better off left alone."
It's the feud that never ends. Over 10 years ago, Game was signed to the Unit. Game and 50 were cool for some point but it went downhill.
Game and 50 got into it over the release of The Documentary and The Massacre. 50 said that Game didn't give credit to the Unit when they contributed to his album. He fired Game out the cannon on radio and it led to a member of Game's posse getting shot.
Jimmy Iovine at the time ordered them to settle the feud. They made public statement saying that the tensions between the two have settled. The tensions escalated when 50 and Game traded bars on their mixtapes. Game released the 300 Bars and let 50 and The Unit have it.
Game was eventually fired out the cannon with Aftermath. He would release his other albums on Geffen and eOne Entertainment.
50 was eventually fired out the cannon with Aftermath and Shady Records. He blamed Dr. Dre and Eminem for stalling his releases. So 50 and The Unit went on to Caroline Records to release his music.
So far, the rappers are struggling to stay afloat. They don't sell the platinum albums like they used to. They compete with mainstream acts like Future, Drake, Macklemore, Pitbull and Nicki Minaj.
Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Kidd Kidd settled their feud with Game. 50 and Tony Yayo said, "they'll die happy knowing Game ain't around!"
Game still sneak disses 50 and Yayo occasionally. This feud will never end.
Matter of fact, Game has not buried the hatchet with another rapper in the game. Game had enough of "phony Bloods" running their mouths. He's aiming at Young Thug for being a "pussyboi who dressing in women's wear". This feud started when Game came to defense of fellow Blood, Lil' Wayne when he was threatened retaliation against Birdman for his royalties.
Lil' Wayne has since settled the feud with Birdman and Thugger.
Pathetic Black preacher James David Manning about to be kicked out of Harlem.
The controversial pastor who ranted that Barack Obama is the long legged "mac daddy" is about to lose his church.
James David Manning, a notorious Black preacher who is the founder of the ATLAH Worldwide Church is on the verge of having his building foreclosed. He has skipped bills and the New York state auditors are saying enough is enough.
Manning said that it's a "high tech lynching" and he vows to fight against the "sodomites" who run New York City and state.
Manning is an anti-gay preacher who once called for violence against gay couples after the Supreme Court ruled that human marriage is legal in the United States.
Manning owes $1.02 million through unpaid tax, unpaid water bills and general debts. He appears likely to lose his church which is due for public auction on February 24, 2016. The Ali Forney Center, a nonprofit organization providing transitional homes for homeless LGBT youngsters has reached its target of $200,000 to buy the church as of February 9, 2016.
What makes this so ironic, is that he gain national attention by appearing on YouTube attacking Barack Obama and his policies. He was given the honor of being on annoying conservative agitator Sean Hannity and pushover Alan Colmes debate show.
He teamed up with Andy Martin, Orly Taitz and numerous kookspiracy theorists to denounce the president as an American born citizen.
He threatened to use force to prevent the activists from taking his church.
Jeffrey Rothecker had a blast peppering a protester in 2008. This happened at the Republican National Convention in 2008.
If it wasn't for those rascally activists on social media exposing racism, this St. Paul lawman would have gotten away with his offensive comments about peaceful protesters affiliated with the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
Andrew Henderson found out about the troll through his family life. He managed to figure out who the troll was by looking through the profiles of JM Roth.
JM Roth was a notorious troll who often posted offensive comments on social media and its comment sections throughout the web. He managed to get caught this time after a savvy internet sleuth found his wife was named Rothecker. You put two and two together and he found out that JM Roth is a member of the St. Paul Police Department. He was outed as Jeffrey Rothecker.
At the time, his superiors put him in the freezer pending a potential cannon firing. They had to filter through his social media and concerns from other residents who were trolled by him.
Corrupt cop said run #BlackLivesMatter activists over!
Before he was to face a cannon firing, he resigned from the department.
The now former St. Paul lawman admits that he was trolling.
The troll was outed after he posted that offensive message about a #BlackLivesMatter protest on Martin Luther King, Jr. day.
Here's what Jeffrey Rothecker said on social media.
Internet savvy activist outed corrupt cop. Andrew Henderson of CopWatch and PhotographyisNotaCrime brought "JM Roth" to the St. Paul Police Department.
Run them over. Keep traffic flowing and don't slow down for any of these idiots who try and block the street. Here is the deal, you continue to drive and if you hit someone make sure you call 911 to report the accident and meet the cops a block or two away and you can justify stopping further away because you feared for your safety since the past people in this group has shown a propensity towards violence. Since they are trying to block the street and/or cross where there is no crossing you should not be charged with anything. Now these idiots could try and sue you in civil court, but remember that it will be jury trial and so most likely it will come out in your favor.
Once again, after being outed, the former lawman tearfully apologized and say he's very sorry for the post on social media. I am extremely sorry for posting what I did, I understand that the post was insensitive and wrong. My poor choice of words conveyed a message I did not intend and am not proud of. Shortly after submitting the post, I re-read it and deleted it. As a law enforcement officer, I would never intentionally encourage someone to commit a crime. I very much regret my actions. I apologize to all the citizens of St. Paul, the department, my fellow law enforcement professionals and my family for the scornful attention my mistake has brought upon them. I apologize for exposing all law enforcement officers to increased scrutiny, during this difficult time of ongoing conflict between officer and members of the community. I apologize to the community members who participated peacefully in the protest, --Sergeant Jeff Rothecker
Not everyone is taking the apology with sincerity. Mayor Chris Coleman said in a statement, "I continue to be outraged by the online comments. While an apology is certainly in order, it is not sufficient to repair the trust that has been broken. Beyond that, Minnesota law prevents me from talking about disciplinary action until any employee appeals period is over".
He apologizes after he was hit with death threats and calls for cannon firing. Jeffrey Rothecker and his wife took to hiding after he fired himself out the cannon.
Some people come to the defense of Rothecker.
The Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police issued a press release saying that mistakes happen. The public should forgive him and move on.
"The public should be aware that Sergeant Rothecker is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He has served the City of St. Paul for over two decades as a police officer. He has many supporters in the community and among his fellow officers."
Chris Coleman, mayor of St, Paul.
You should understand what Rothecker done. Like the other asshat cop in Ohio, this fool posting on social media posting gave Black America an understanding potential police brutality by some in the St. Paul Police and its neighbor Minneapolis. Of course this happens when tensions are high post Jamar Clark.
Jamar Clark was killed by the Minneapolis Police. Some accuse the law of shooting him while being handcuffed. The U.S. Justice Department is investigating the situation.
Rothecker's actions give me reason to justify that many in law enforcement engage in profiling. This doesn't just affect St. Paul Police Department but the law enforcement agencies of Minneapolis, Andover, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids and numerous other communities.
Republican sheriff said his home got shot up. He said that Beyonce sent thugs after him.
Really, you want to blame an entertainer for the acts of a criminal! I mean for her to express her opinion about police brutality is equal to a criminal act upon the men and women of law enforcement.
Sad.
Pathetic.
Besides that coon cop Sheriff David Clarke, there's some in law enforcement blaming Beyonce for the acts of criminals.
Rutherford County, Tennessee, Sheriff Robert Arnold, the Republican elected lawman had his home shot at in Murfeesboro. Arnold cites Beyonce as the reason for his home being shot at and not the people he's spurned.
"You do make people mad when you do do your job," he said. "Once I kind of figured everything out, with everything that's happened since the Super Bowl - since law enforcement as a whole, where we've lost five deputy sheriffs since the Super Bowl. You know, Beyonce's video - and that's sort of bled over into other things, it seems like, within law enforcement."
Arnold is under federal watch for taking kickbacks and misuse of funds. Also his department is facing lawsuits out the ass.
I mean he's facing a criminal probe for the brutal beating of a man his officers beat senseless in the county lockup. The family of Robert Lee Johnson who was in lockup for a few months was beaten so badly, he was left terminally brain dead.
Don't blame Beyonce for the actions of a criminal.
In 2015, Arnold fired out the cannon his sidekick Virgil Gammon. The reason to his cannon firing, was his political views. Also a detective named Jim Tramel won an unlawful termination lawsuit against the sheriff for his cannon firing.
Could that be a motivated revenge plot?
Should they blame Beyonce for the actions of White extremists such as Cliven Bundy?
How about Jared and Amanda Miller? These two White extremists murdered cops. It's Beyonce's fault.
You want to disturb the "BeyHive" with these ridiculous accusations! Go right ahead. I mean it's going to hurt you more than it hurts Beyonce.
Let's take a look at the social media response.
Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold is correct @Beyonce is at fault for rise in the shootings of cops. https://t.co/zjrqgMD2x7
If you ask me, I believe he may have staged the event! Because they can't determine who's the shooter and most people wouldn't know where the sheriff lives!
The Southern Poverty Law Center released its Intelligence Report this week. The report states that there's a rise in extremism.
At the peak of President Barack Obama's first term and reelection bid, there were over 1,000 active hate groups in the United States.
It was trending downward for a moment. But unfortunately the rise in Republican rhetoric has driven the hate groups back out and they're on the move once again.
Should I blame the agitators of politics and media?
Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, World Net Daily, Matt Drudge, Alex Jones, Michael Savage, Michelle Malkin, Bill O'Reilly, Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs, Bill Cunningham, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Pam Geller, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity have often been cited as influences to anti-gubmint rhetoric.
They have driven the narrative that America is going down the shithole. They said #BlackLivesMatter is anti-cop. They believe that Obama's doing more for Blacks, Muslims and illegal immigrants. They believe the Republicans are giving Obama what he wants. They believe Muslims are infiltrating our country. They believe Republicans are weak and timid.
But are they responsible for the actions of those who may commit an act of terrorism?
No.
Well, maybe.....
We may not like the divisive rhetoric but unfortunately, they're not endorsing the actions of anti-government extremists. They do look the other way when these extremists carry out actions that could be deadly acts of terrorism. These guys are so obsessed with "radical Islam".
The Southern Poverty Law Center says that there's nearly 900 groups.
Mark Potak wrote that anti-government militiamen, white supremacists, abortion foes, domestic Islamist radicals, Neo-Nazis and lovers of the Confederate battle flag targeted police, government officials, black churchgoers, Muslims, Jews, schoolchildren, Marines, abortion providers, members of the Black Lives Matter protest movement, and even drug dealers.
They laid plans to attack courthouses, banks, festivals, funerals, schools, mosques, churches, synagogues, clinics, water treatment plants and power grids. They used firearms, bombs, C-4 plastic explosives, knives and grenades; one of them, a murderous Klansman, was convicted of trying to build a death ray.
The armed violence was accompanied by rabid and often racist denunciations of Muslims, LGBT activists and others — incendiary rhetoric led by a number of mainstream political figures and amplified by a lowing herd of their enablers in the right-wing media. Reacting to demographic changes in the U.S., immigration, the legalization of same-sex marriage, the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, and Islamist atrocities, these people fostered a sense of polarization and anger in this country that may be unmatched since the political upheavals of 1968.
He added, that Donald Trump's demonizing statements about Latinos and Muslims have electrified the radical right, leading to glowing endorsements from white nationalist leaders such as Jared Taylor and former Klansman David Duke. White supremacist forums are awash with electoral joy, having dubbed Trump their “Glorious Leader.” And Trump has repaid the compliments, retweeting hate posts and spreading their false statistics on black-on-white crime.
The Bundy family was busted in Oregon after a month long stand off in Burns. Ammon and Cliven are facing serious federal charges. They could end up getting LIFE in federal time out.
Cliven Bundy and his sons Ryan and Ammon are held on federal charges for threatening law enforcement. After last month's standoff in Oregon, Bundy was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at the Portland International Airport while he was on his way to support the standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. He faces federal charges related to his own standoff with the Bureau of Land Management in 2014.
In a 32-page criminal complaint, federal prosecutors charged Bundy with one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, one count of assault on a federal officer by use of a deadly weapon and aiding and abetting, two counts of use and carrying of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence and aiding and abetting, one count of interfering with commerce by extortion and aiding and abetting, and one count of obstruction of the administration of justice and aiding and abetting.
Bundy made his first appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Janice M. Stewart in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon in Portland on February 11. He sought court-appointed counsel.
At a detention hearing on February 16, Stewart ordered Bundy to be held without bail, citing the serious nature of the charges and the risk of flight.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for the next week.
The charges alone could put the Bundys in the federal time out for 20 years to LIFE.
Cliven, Ammon and Ryan Bundy along with Brian Cavalier, Blaine Cooper, Ryan Payne, Jon Ritzheimer, and Neil Wampler are innocent until proven guilty.
Already, the dorky robot Marco Rubio slammed President Barack Obama for not attending the funeral of Anthony Scalia. He also went after the president for doing something that he'll never do.
Visit a country that the United States once called an enemy.
As expected, Rubio, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and the conservative agitators will blast Obama for his announced trip to the island of Cuba. He will take the trip in March to visit the American diplomatic post and interact with Cuban leader Raul Castro.
This will be the first time in 80 years, a sitting U.S. president will visit the Communist nation.
The United States and Cuba have established relations after decades of bitter feuding.
Like a boss. President Barack Obama opened relations with Cuba and managed to get Iran to disarm their nuclear weapons.
A National Security Council official plans to make the announcement tomorrow at the White House briefing.
The trip is planned for March 21-22 before the president flies to Argentina.
The move comes roughly 15 months following the president's pledge with Raul Castro to reopen diplomatic channels following a prisoner exchange and the humanitarian release of U.S. contractor Alan Gross in December 2014.
Since the announcement, the two countries have had a series of diplomatic talks, leading to the reopening of embassies last summer and the recent deal restoring commercial air traffic.
President Barack Obama sniffing a Cuban cigar. First Lady Michelle Obama helped the president kick his smoking habit.
The last and only sitting U.S. president to visit the island nation only 90 miles south of the Florida keys was Calvin Coolidge, in 1928, to address the Sixth Annual International Conference of American States in Havana.
He met with Cuba's President Gerardo Machado, who was in office from 1925 to 1933, until he was forced into exile.
President Jimmy Carter traveled to Cuba in 2002, 20 years after leaving office, at the invitation of President Fidel Castro.
The feds and Florida state police bust up a teen who pretended to be a doctor. Matter of fact, he was that good, many of his patients headed to his clinic.
Malachi Love-Robinson got international attention for practicing medicine without a license. The FBI, the Florida Department of Health, the Palm Beach County sheriff were watching Robinson.
They knew that he was circulating a practice in West Palm Beach and they had an informant go into the office to get a check up.
The law said that Love-Robinson physically examined and provided medical advice.
As the law led Robinson out of his office in handcuffs, he talked to the junk food media.
"I'm hurt because of the accusations and allegations, but like I said, this is not the first time where I've been accused and I will pursue this, and when I do, you guys will know."
Now that he posted his get out free card, Love-Robinson managed to get a lawyer and clammed up. He said he will not talk to the junk food media without a lawyer present.
He created his own medical practice. The website itself had his practice, ratings from the Better Business Bureau, and labeled him as the president, CEO and founder. He even refers himself as "Dr."
He also has studied the medical lingo of HHPC, and Ph.D. for his business.
Mugshot of phony doctor.
The Department of Health does issue Florida licenses to medical doctors. It does not issue licenses for naturopathic doctors or those who reject the use of medicines.
It's not the first time Love-Robinson has run-ins with the law. After a tip to the law, the Department of Health filed a cease-and-desist notice in October, They warned him to stop practicing medicine without a license.
Love-Robinson described himself as a "well-rounded professional" on the Health Grades website. He also says that he is 25 years old. Wrong, he's still 18 years old and not legally authorized to be a doctor.
"I utilize physiological, psychological and mechanical methods, such as air water, light, heat, earth (to treat patients)." he said on his profile.
The website of his business is called New Birth New Life. He also had employed two other workers who were shocked that he wasn't a real doctor.
Love-Robinson is facing a third-degree felony. He could spent up to 20 years in the iron college if he's found guilty. He is innocent until proven guilty.
