The famed tough guy Robert Loggia passed away on Friday.
Robert (born Salvatore), was an American actor and director. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Jagged Edge (1985).
Loggia’s most notable film credits included “An Officer and a Gentleman,” “Prizzi’s Honor,” “Independence Day,” David Lynch’s “Lost Highway” and “Big,” in which he played a toy company owner and performed a memorable duet on a giant foot-operated piano with Tom Hanks. He played Miami drug lord Frank Lopez in “Scarface.”
Loggia was nominated for an Emmy in 1989 for his portrayal of FBI agent Nick Mancuso in the series “Mancuso FBI” — which has a spin-off of the character he created in the “Favorite Son” miniseries starring Harry Hamlin — and again in 2000 for his guest star role in “Malcolm in the Middle.”
Loggia was a versatile supporting actor, assembling credits on three different episodes of “The Rockford Files” as three different characters. He also appeared in three different “Pink Panther” movies with three different character names.
Loggia played Anwar Sadat in the 1982 TV movie “A Woman Called Golda” opposite Ingrid Bergman. He also portrayed fearsome mobster-bakery owner Feech La Manna on several episodes of “The Sopranos.”
Loggia was a native of Staten Island, born to Italian immigrants. He received a football scholarship to Wagner College and transferred to the University of Missouri. After serving two years in the U.S. Army, he began classes with Stella Adler and at the Actors Studio.
“He loved being an actor,” his widow told Variety. “He used to say that he never had to work. He never had to wait tables.”
“I loved Bob like a father,” Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns told Variety. “I will miss him tremendously.”
Loggia played drug lord Frank Lopez.
He broke into the entertainment business performing in stage plays in New York. His first film credit came in 1957 in the noirish “The Garment Jungle.” His first TV credits came in 1958 in “The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca” in a series of Walt Disney TV shows. He starred in the 1966-67 series “T.H.E. Cat” as a former circus aerialist and cat burglar turned professional bodyguard who would introduce himself as “T. Hewitt Edward Cat.”
Loggia’s TV credits included “The Untouchables,” “Columbo,” “Gunsmoke,” “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea,” “The Big Valley,” “Rawhide,” “Little House on the Prairie,” “Starsky and Hutch,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Magnum, P.I.,” “Kojak,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “The Bionic Woman,” “Frasier” and “Monk.”
His other film roles include “Revenge of the Pink Panther,” “Trail of the Pink Panther,” “Curse of the Pink Panther,” “Over The Top,” “Necessary Roughness,” “Return to Me” and “Armed and Dangerous.”
Loggia is survived by his widow and four children, Tracy, John, Kristina and Cynthia.
His family has asked that donations be made to the Motion Picture and Television Fund. Loggia was an active supporter of the fund.
Funeral services will be private.
Loggia was married to Marjorie Sloan from 1954 to 1981, with whom he had three children: Tracey (an actress), John (a production designer), and Kristina (an actress)
Loggia and Sloan were divorced in 1981.
In 1982, Loggia married Audrey O'Brien, a business executive and the mother of his stepdaughter Cynthia Marlette. Loggia and O'Brien remained married until his death in 2015.
Loggia had been battling Alzheimer’s Disease for the past five years, according to his widow. They had been married for 33 years.
The country's most talked about celebrity welcomes her son to the world.
Celebrity agitator Kim Kardashian-West gave birth to her son. The Kardashian clan can confirm that Kim gave birth on Saturday morning. Kanye West, her husband of two years couldn't be a proud papa.
This is the second child for the celebrity couple.
The celebrity agitator revealed that she was pregnant during a taping of her E! Entertainment reality series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" back in May.
She told the junk food media that she was expecting a son in May.
Spoiled brat caught on tape playing beer pong when he was supposed to be serving his probation sentence.
He managed to use his family's connections to get him house arrest. Ethan Couch was convicted of vehicular homicide. He was sentenced to ten years of in-house with the conditions to avoid alcohol, drugs and criminal behavior. Couch's reckless actions resulted in the death of four innocent motorists.
The lawyers had argued that Couch was unable to understand the consequences of his actions because of his financial privilege. The defendant had been witnessed on surveillance video stealing beer from a store, driving with seven passengers in a Ford F-350 stolen from his father, speeding (70 miles per hour (110 km/h) in a 40 miles per hour (64 km/h) zone). Couch was also driving drunk and while under sedation with Valium; he had a blood alcohol content of .24%, three times the legal limit for an adult in Texas.
Eric Boyles, whose wife and daughter were killed in the crash, said, "Had he not had money to have the defense there, to also have the experts testify, and also offer to pay for the treatment, I think the results would have been different."
While many Black or Hispanic motorists are often subjected to time in the iron college, Couch had managed to sway the court with this pathetic excuse. He was suffering from affluenza. This disorder is supposedly caused by having too much affluence in the community where in the mindset, you're immune from knowing right from wrong.
Someone recorded Couch and a couple of his friends playing beer pong. One of the players would crash land on the table while he stands there cheering him on.
When the person posted it on social media, it managed to grab junk food media attention.
The user posted a video along with a caption stating that Ethan Couch was in violation of his probation. The video is of several teens throwing a party, one of which appears to be Ethan Couch.
This would be in direct violation of his 10 year probation if any alcohol consumption was involved. Consequences may include a re-sentencing which could mean up to 10 years in jail according to the Tarrant County District Office.
The Chicago Police are determined to find out why the person who filmed this.
A young boy wearing only a diaper takes two hits off what appears to be a joint or a blunt under the guidance of a man whose voice can be heard in the 16-second video.
The New York Daily News reports that the video is disturbing.
“Smoke, bro,” the man, who isn’t seen, said. “Inhale it.”
He added, “Do this” before showing the boy how to inhale.
The boy held the apparent weed in front of him for a moment, nearly burning himself.
“Let me hit that,” the man said. The video then ends.
Investigators with the Area South Special Victims unit are looking into where the footage was filmed, a Chicago police spokesman said. Community activist Andrew Holmes alerted cops after someone sent him the video on social media, he told WMAQ-TV.
“This is sickening,” Holmes said. “This child needs help ASAP if he hasn’t had help already. It’s disturbing to hear the adult that was in the background to let them hit it and they’re telling the child to inhale.”
The home of terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik was raided by the feds. The feds went into their Redlands, California home to gather evidence. They managed to break down the door and scoop up all the needed evidence that matters. They are trying to piece together the motives of the seemingly "NICE" family.
The feds would board up the home after they raided it.
The landlord of the home decided to allow the junk food media access to the home.
A moment in history where the frenzy of getting the story becomes the story.
It was reported that Inside Edition wanted to pay the landlord $1,000 for access to the property.
NBC News was embarrassed over the actions of an MSNBC reporter who entered the home. He went through the stuff and found identification. He would boldly show that social security numbers, bank account statements and address of family members not associated to the case.
I am amazed that the junk food media never went into the homes of other mass shooters.
Nobody in the junk food media went into the homes the Sandy Hook shooter, the Colorado Springs shooter, the DC Navy Yard shooter, the Aurora movie theater shooter, the Charleston church shooter, the Umpqua Community College shooter, and the Virginia news crew shooter.
The New York Times decided to do something it hasn't done in 100 years. They decided to place the editorial on the front page of the newspaper. It's blasting the Congress and NRA for being turning a blind eye to the NUMBER ONE THREAT in the America.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
Idiots like Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and the remaining clowns running for the Republican nomination offer no real solutions to stopping these issues.
As the Feds determine the motive, conservatives balk at the fact the mass shooters were on social media talking about their support for the Islamic State.
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson told Americans to be vigilant throughout the holidays. It seems like everything being said is often ignored by those in the White suburbs of America.
Terrorism exists in the United States. It's not solely acts committed by Muslims.
If we treated all mass shootings as an act of terrorism, you would see these assholes in Washington, DC actually pass legislation to get things done. But alas, they're not. They're afraid of political backlash from conservatives and the NRA.
The woman who may have conspired the attacks.
They just don't give any notice to what President Barack Obama says. They're so fixated on listening to ankle biting lawmakers and agitators. Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and the remaining clowns running have no real ideas on how to take on a leaderless group of individuals. All they have in their mindset is kill more people to show how tough America is.
These people flex their tongues when it comes to taking on terrorism. They don't see that human lives matter. They don't even value Black lives.
The people who were neighbors of Syed Farook didn't get that message. They didn't want to tell the law that they felt he was doing something that just didn't seem right. They feared that the junk food media would label them as bigots.
This terrorist is an American born man who married a Pakistani woman. They were proud parents of a 6 month old daughter at some point. The people said he was a "NICE GUY". They didn't think he would do that.
He was dedicated worker. He was a devout Muslim. He lived a modest life. What happened?
What inspired him to commit a mass shooting on his fellow man?
Eight of the 14 victims killed in Wednesday's mass shooting.
These terrorists managed to kill 14 people and wound over 30 people. Many of the victims were one of the terrorist's co-workers and former friends.
The names of the victims. These were obtained from Time Magazine. The magazine released the list of victims from age 26 to 60 years old.

Many of those in law enforcement peeped into the social media of the wife. She is allegedly declaring an allegiance to the Islamic State.
Big fucking deal. It doesn't bring back the lives of those lost in this senseless tragedy. For all I know, it's just an opinion. The actions carried out by the terrorist matter. I don't blame no one but the shooters.
This shows me that the U.S. government is devoted to spying on Americans. I can say I pledge support to the extremist group. What they gonna do about it?
I mean if we're that obsessed with the Islamic State, we're giving them the victory. I don't want to give them the satisfaction of winning the war on who's got the bigger balls. I don't give two fucks about the Islamic State or their followers.
The U.S. government hasn't concluded their investigation into how this event happened.
Conservatives are saying that the president won't recognize the threat of "radical Islam". They seriously believe that the president is being "politically correct" when dealing with the threat.
Republicans and their conservative allies say that the president shouldn't politicize mass shootings. This has been the umpteenth time the president gave remarks on mass shootings. He has stressed that his big failure is not signing a law that slows down the gun violence. The Republicans refuse to vote on background checks and gun control regulations. The Islamic State and al Qaeda have followed U.S. politics for a while. They believe that the Republicans are stupid. They rather have Republicans in the White House.
Republicans and their obsession to cutting government and relaxing laws are giving terrorists an opportunity to purchase firearms without being questioned. The relaxing of laws are giving terrorist an opportunity to find areas where they can commit mass murder on individuals.
They seem to miss the message when they are politicizing the event to advocate profiling of Muslims, Blacks and Hispanics. They politicize theses events to scare White folks into stockpiling firearms.
The New York Daily News has had enough of the Republican showboating. The newspaper hits them hard. They aimed at the Republican candidates for taking the time to send their prayers to the victims but offer no legislative action or stump speech about gun violence.
The final jobs report for the year comes out and it seems like President Barack Obama is smiling all the way. The unemployment rate remains unchanged but it did net over 211,000 jobs.
U.S. job growth increased solidly in November in a show of the economy's resilience, which most likely paves the way for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates this month for the first time in nearly a decade.
Nonfarm payrolls increased 211,000 last month, the Labor Department said on Friday. September and October data was revised to show 35,000 more jobs than previously reported.
The unemployment rate held at a 7-1/2-year low of 5 percent, even as people returned to the labor force in a sign of confidence in the jobs market. The jobless rate is in a range many Fed officials see as consistent with full employment and has dropped seven-tenths of a percentage point this year.
Federal Reserve chief Janet Yellen may raise the federal interest rate. She believe the government is healthy enough for the interest rate to increase to at least 4%.
Yellen said the economy needs to create just under 100,000 jobs a month to keep up with growth in the working age population.
The Fed's policy-setting committee will meet on Dec. 15-16. Market-based measures of Fed policy expectations assign a probability of 79.1 percent to the central bank's raising interest rates at that meeting, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch site.
The dollar extended gains against a basket of currencies, while prices for U.S. government bonds fell. U.S. stock futures extended gains.
The second month of strong job gains should allay fears the economy has hit a soft patch, after reports showing tepid consumer spending in October and a slowdown in services industry growth in November. Manufacturing contracted in November for the first time in three years.
Though wage growth slowed last month, economists say that was mostly payback for October's outsized gains, which were driven by a calendar quirk. Anecdotal evidence, as well as data on labor-related costs, suggest that tightening job market conditions are starting to put upward pressure on wages.
Average hourly earnings increased four cents, or 0.2 percent from 0.4 percent in October. That lowered the year-on-year reading to 2.3 percent from 2.5 percent in October. The average workweek, however, dipped to 34.5 hours from 34.6.
Other labor market measures that Fed officials are eyeing as they consider lifting the benchmark overnight interest rate from near zero were mixed.
The labor force participation rate, or the share of working-age Americans who are employed or at least looking for a job, rose to 62.5 percent from a near 38-year low of 62.4 percent.
But a broad measure of joblessness that includes people who want to work but have given up searching and those working part-time because they cannot find full-time employment rose one-tenth of a percentage point to 9.9 percent.
Employment gains in November were broad-based, though manufacturing shed 1,000 positions and mining lost 11,000 jobs.
Manufacturing has been crippled by a strong dollar, efforts by businesses to reduce bloated inventory and spending cuts by energy companies scaling back well drilling and exploration in response to sharply lower oil prices.
House Speaker Paul Ryan's (R-WI) first months as House Speaker have been so far "fair" to say at least.
Mining employment has declined by 123,000 since reaching a peak in December 2014. Three quarters of the job losses over this period have been in support activities for mining.
Oilfield services provider Schlumberger (SLB.N) this week announced another round of job cuts in addition to 20,000 layoffs already reported this year. The company said it expected the slowdown in drilling activity to continue in 2016.
Construction payrolls increased 46,000 last month. With 163,000 jobs added, the services sector accounted for the bulk of the increase in employment last month. Retail jobs rose 30,700 and transportation and warehousing employment rebounded after two straight months of declines.
Professional services added 27,000 jobs and government payrolls increased 14,000 last month.
Of course, the conservative agitators will not accept this good news. They keep repeating the debunked talking points that over 94.6 million people are unemployed.
And I will continue to tell you that 1/3 of the U.S. population is either in the iron college, attending high school or college, disabled, retired or dead.
Republicans have not passed any legislation to create jobs. They've shown the world that they're incapable of governing. They won power to just showboat their ignorant agenda.
Newsflash: We have mass shootings in the United States. People are dying because of gun violence everyday. Over 245,000 people have been killed by firearms. We have a large generation of retiring people. We are going through a baby boom. We are having more people quit their jobs in search of better jobs. We have people in college, high school, and vocational school. We have people on disability.
Priscilla changed him. Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook announced he will donate his most of his fortune to charity. He and his wife are proud parents.
The CEO of social media titan Facebook announced that he and his wife are proud parents of a baby daughter. He also announced that he's giving away 99% of his fortune to charity.
Mark Zuckerberg and Dr. Priscilla Chan announced the birth of their first child, they also announced they'd be giving away 99% of their Facebook stock—worth nearly $45 billion, CNN reports. Zuckerberg and Chan posted an extremely lengthy open letter to their daughter Max on Facebook Tuesday.
Read it below....
Dear Max,
Your mother and I don't yet have the words to describe the hope you give us for the future. Your new life is full of promise, and we hope you will be happy and healthy so you can explore it fully. You've already given us a reason to reflect on the world we hope you live in.
Like all parents, we want you to grow up in a world better than ours today.
While headlines often focus on what's wrong, in many ways the world is getting better. Health is improving. Poverty is shrinking. Knowledge is growing. People are connecting. Technological progress in every field means your life should be dramatically better than ours today.
President Barack Obama holds a townhall with Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
We will do our part to make this happen, not only because we love you, but also because we have a moral responsibility to all children in the next generation.
We believe all lives have equal value, and that includes the many more people who will live in future generations than live today. Our society has an obligation to invest now to improve the lives of all those coming into this world, not just those already here.
But right now, we don't always collectively direct our resources at the biggest opportunities and problems your generation will face.
Consider disease. Today we spend about 50 times more as a society treating people who are sick than we invest in research so you won't get sick in the first place.
Medicine has only been a real science for less than 100 years, and we've already seen complete cures for some diseases and good progress for others. As technology accelerates, we have a real shot at preventing, curing or managing all or most of the rest in the next 100 years.
Today, most people die from five things -- heart disease, cancer, stroke, neurodegenerative and infectious diseases -- and we can make faster progress on these and other problems.
Once we recognize that your generation and your children's generation may not have to suffer from disease, we collectively have a responsibility to tilt our investments a bit more towards the future to make this reality. Your mother and I want to do our part.
Curing disease will take time. Over short periods of five or ten years, it may not seem like we're making much of a difference. But over the long term, seeds planted now will grow, and one day, you or your children will see what we can only imagine: a world without suffering from disease.
There are so many opportunities just like this. If society focuses more of its energy on these great challenges, we will leave your generation a much better world.

Our hopes for your generation focus on two ideas: advancing human potential and promoting equality.
Advancing human potential is about pushing the boundaries on how great a human life can be.
Can you learn and experience 100 times more than we do today?
Can our generation cure disease so you live much longer and healthier lives?
Can we connect the world so you have access to every idea, person and opportunity?
Can we harness more clean energy so you can invent things we can't conceive of today while protecting the environment?
Can we cultivate entrepreneurship so you can build any business and solve any challenge to grow peace and prosperity?
Oprah Winfrey with New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Mark Zuckerberg.
Promoting equality is about making sure everyone has access to these opportunities -- regardless of the nation, families or circumstances they are born into.
Our society must do this not only for justice or charity, but for the greatness of human progress.
Today we are robbed of the potential so many have to offer. The only way to achieve our full potential is to channel the talents, ideas and contributions of every person in the world.
Can our generation eliminate poverty and hunger?
Can we provide everyone with basic healthcare?
Can we build inclusive and welcoming communities?
Can we nurture peaceful and understanding relationships between people of all nations?
Can we truly empower everyone -- women, children, underrepresented minorities, immigrants and the unconnected?
If our generation makes the right investments, the answer to each of these questions can be yes -- and hopefully within your lifetime.

This mission -- advancing human potential and promoting equality -- will require a new approach for all working towards these goals.
We must make long term investments over 25, 50 or even 100 years. The greatest challenges require very long time horizons and cannot be solved by short term thinking.
We must engage directly with the people we serve. We can't empower people if we don't understand the needs and desires of their communities.
We must build technology to make change. Many institutions invest money in these challenges, but most progress comes from productivity gains through innovation.
We must participate in policy and advocacy to shape debates. Many institutions are unwilling to do this, but progress must be supported by movements to be sustainable.
We must back the strongest and most independent leaders in each field. Partnering with experts is more effective for the mission than trying to lead efforts ourselves.
We must take risks today to learn lessons for tomorrow. We're early in our learning and many things we try won't work, but we'll listen and learn and keep improving.
• • •
Our experience with personalized learning, internet access, and community education and health has shaped our philosophy.
Our generation grew up in classrooms where we all learned the same things at the same pace regardless of our interests or needs.
Your generation will set goals for what you want to become -- like an engineer, health worker, writer or community leader. You'll have technology that understands how you learn best and where you need to focus. You'll advance quickly in subjects that interest you most, and get as much help as you need in your most challenging areas. You'll explore topics that aren't even offered in schools today.
Your teachers will also have better tools and data to help you achieve your goals.
Even better, students around the world will be able to use personalized learning tools over the internet, even if they don't live near good schools. Of course it will take more than technology to give everyone a fair start in life, but personalized learning can be one scalable way to give all children a better education and more equal opportunity.
We're starting to build this technology now, and the results are already promising. Not only do students perform better on tests, but they gain the skills and confidence to learn anything they want. And this journey is just beginning. The technology and teaching will rapidly improve every year you're in school.
The Zuckerbergs with their daughter Max.
Your mother and I have both taught students and we've seen what it takes to make this work. It will take working with the strongest leaders in education to help schools around the world adopt personalized learning. It will take engaging with communities, which is why we're starting in our San Francisco Bay Area community. It will take building new technology and trying new ideas. And it will take making mistakes and learning many lessons before achieving these goals.
But once we understand the world we can create for your generation, we have a responsibility as a society to focus our investments on the future to make this reality.
Together, we can do this. And when we do, personalized learning will not only help students in good schools, it will help provide more equal opportunity to anyone with an internet connection.
• • •
Many of the greatest opportunities for your generation will come from giving everyone access to the internet.
People often think of the internet as just for entertainment or communication. But for the majority of people in the world, the internet can be a lifeline.
It provides education if you don't live near a good school. It provides health information on how to avoid diseases or raise healthy children if you don't live near a doctor. It provides financial services if you don't live near a bank. It provides access to jobs and opportunities if you don't live in a good economy.
The internet is so important that for every 10 people who gain internet access, about one person is lifted out of poverty and about one new job is created.
Yet still more than half of the world's population -- more than 4 billion people -- don't have access to the internet.
If our generation connects them, we can lift hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. We can also help hundreds of millions of children get an education and save millions of lives by helping people avoid disease.
This is another long term effort that can be advanced by technology and partnership. It will take inventing new technology to make the internet more affordable and bring access to unconnected areas. It will take partnering with governments, non-profits and companies. It will take engaging with communities to understand what they need. Good people will have different views on the best path forward, and we will try many efforts before we succeed.
But together we can succeed and create a more equal world.
• • •
Technology can't solve problems by itself. Building a better world starts with building strong and healthy communities.
Children have the best opportunities when they can learn. And they learn best when they're healthy.
Health starts early -- with loving family, good nutrition and a safe, stable environment.
Children who face traumatic experiences early in life often develop less healthy minds and bodies. Studies show physical changes in brain development leading to lower cognitive ability.
Your mother is a doctor and educator, and she has seen this firsthand.
If you have an unhealthy childhood, it's difficult to reach your full potential.
If you have to wonder whether you'll have food or rent, or worry about abuse or crime, then it's difficult to reach your full potential.
If you fear you'll go to prison rather than college because of the color of your skin, or that your family will be deported because of your legal status, or that you may be a victim of violence because of your religion, sexual orientation or gender identity, then it's difficult to reach your full potential.
We need institutions that understand these issues are all connected. That's the philosophy of the new type of school your mother is building.
By partnering with schools, health centers, parent groups and local governments, and by ensuring all children are well fed and cared for starting young, we can start to treat these inequities as connected.
Only then can we collectively start to give everyone an equal opportunity.
It will take many years to fully develop this model. But it's another example of how advancing human potential and promoting equality are tightly linked. If we want either, we must first build inclusive and healthy communities.
• • •
For your generation to live in a better world, there is so much more our generation can do.
Today your mother and I are committing to spend our lives doing our small part to help solve these challenges. I will continue to serve as Facebook's CEO for many, many years to come, but these issues are too important to wait until you or we are older to begin this work. By starting at a young age, we hope to see compounding benefits throughout our lives.
As you begin the next generation of the Chan Zuckerberg family, we also begin the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to join people across the world to advance human potential and promote equality for all
children in the next generation. Our initial areas of focus will be personalized learning, curing disease, connecting people and building strong communities.
We will give 99% of our Facebook shares -- currently about $45 billion -- during our lives to advance this mission. We know this is a small contribution compared to all the resources and talents of those already working on these issues. But we want to do what we can, working alongside many others.
We'll share more details in the coming months once we settle into our new family rhythm and return from our maternity and paternity leaves. We understand you'll have many questions about why and how we're doing this.
As we become parents and enter this next chapter of our lives, we want to share our deep appreciation for everyone who makes this possible.
We can do this work only because we have a strong global community behind us. Building Facebook has created resources to improve the world for the next generation. Every member of the Facebook community is playing a part in this work.
We can make progress towards these opportunities only by standing on the shoulders of experts -- our mentors, partners and many incredible people whose contributions built these fields.
And we can only focus on serving this community and this mission because we are surrounded by loving family, supportive friends and amazing colleagues. We hope you will have such deep and inspiring relationships in your life too.
Max, we love you and feel a great responsibility to leave the world a better place for you and all children. We wish you a life filled with the same love, hope and joy you give us. We can't wait to see what you bring to this world.
Love,
Mom and Dad
Zuckerberg believes that his fortune could help people in need. And I applaud him and his wife for being generous. They feel that they can make a difference to those who are in need.
Of course, many conservatives and selfish rich folks bitch about how liberals want to take money to redistribute wealth.
They want liberal rich folks to shut the fuck up. The conservatives were bitching about Warren Buffet and Bill Gates giving away their fortunes to charity. They believe that liberals are destroying America by asking for the rich to pay a little more in taxes.
Conservatives don't see that the middle class is being wiped away. They too focus on trying to the rich even more richer and the poor even more dependent on the safety net. They will not give a leg up to those who struggled for a piece of the American pie.
The White guy strolls Akron streets with a firearm and there's nothing the law can do about it. He has a right to do so under the Ohio open carry law.
If a mass shooting happens, the blame game often comes into play. From the Charleston shooting to the most recent shooting in San Bernardino, the agitators want to point fingers at each other rather than solve problems. President Barack Obama said that we're becoming numb to mass shootings. It's like an everyday occurrence in the country.
When the shooter is Black, he's either a thug or Obama's son. When the shooter is a Muslim, he's either a terrorist or a supporter of "radical Islam". When the shooter is Hispanic, he's either an illegal or a drug smuggler.
When it comes to innocence before guilt, Blacks, Hispanics and Muslims are often guilty before trial.
When it comes to White people, they're innocent until proven guilty.
White people are often given glowing profiles when they're arrested. Blacks, Hispanics and Muslims are given menacing profiles (i.e. use of drugs, hand signs, criminal history or views opposed to the United States).
White people stockpiling firearms is just prevent a government gun grab. Muslims stockpiling firearms is a potential terrorist attack.
The junk food media ignores "NICE GUYS" being the most dangerous individuals to ever hold a firearm. The "NICE GUY" is probably the ones who are likely going to commit acts of mass murder.
These are the people who are shunned by society. They have been hurt by relationships, jobs, discrimination, and unfortunate circumstances. They get influenced by events, groups or self-infliction.
Raw Story reported on an Ohio man deliberately toying with residents. He is using Ohio's open carry laws to walk around neighborhoods with a loaded semi-automatic firearm.
Daniel Kovacevic, 25 year old man was testing the law.
So he goes into Akron and Cleveland wearing his firearm on his holster. He stands near a Black barbershop.
The barber is of course shaken by this. He calls the law on Kovacevic and they come to the area. Of course, the law was tied up with other issues and said that he wasn't causing any problems in the area.
The owner Deone Slater did not want the man with his rifle hanging out in front of his shop.
Kovacevic was warned about trespassing and was told to leave.
He escapes the law without a scratch on him. Many in Black America are fumed up over the fact that a White man with a firearm can stroll through Black neighborhoods without being arrested or shot.
But when it comes to John Crawford picking up a BB gun from the Walmart shelves and Tamir Rice playing with a pallet gun, they were shot on sight.
“He was a threat to my community,” Slater said. “If I can prevent him from shooting up the city, I would. I won’t condone it. Somebody’s got to stand up.”
Slater said he was yelling profanities at Kovacevic when police arrived, and that Kovacevic said little during the confrontation other than to ask him if he was a Christian.
“I told him to take his guns off. I told him let me have five or 10 minutes with him without his weapons,” Slater said before adding that the police seemed more concerned with him than the man carrying the gun, and that he believes race plays a part in it.
“They (police) were more concerned about me than him, as if I were the threat,” Slater explained. “If it were me with a gun, they would have shut the whole block down.”
“He’s a threat to me and my people. He’s a threat to me.”
Police have been monitoring Kovacevic for days after receiving calls from security at University of Akron that he was seen near the school carrying his rifle.
Had he been a Black man, he would have been shot on sight.
There was this asshat who ran up on family loading groceries into their vehicle. He decides to confront the family because they used a food stamp card to purchase food. What got him livid was the fact that one of them was using his money to purchase lottery tickets.
In the 2 minute YouTube video, you clearly hear the man confront them for using food stamps and purchasing lottery.
They get into a verbal tirade.
The guy stops his vehicle and jumps out. He confronts the woman who is allegedly pregnant smoking and then sees a steak inside the shopping cart. He picks it up an ultimately declares that
"Steak is for fucking taxpayers"!
Man films couple after he caught them purchasing food with EBT. One of the person filmed was playing with lottery tickets.
Now would you want someone coming up on you yelling and then reach into your grocery cart?
I seriously believe it's a staged act to generate click bait. Because if this guy was bold enough to do this, he should get the cuffs and a night in the county lockup.
The safety net includes social security, disability, food stamps, farm aid, Medicare, Medicaid, and welfare. Don't forget there's veteran's assistance, disaster relief, student aid, and victim's claims.
The middle class, lower class and those who are too poor are the core of the safety net.
The rise in energy, rent, insurance, food and gas, people are turning to food stamps, food banks and government assistance to keep themselves from landing in the homeless shelter.
Without a safety net, these people will rob and kill those who have the luxuries of having food in the refrigerator or in the pantry. They would steal fuel, water, bread, baby formula, diapers and meat to keep feeding their families. And yet, these Republicans and their conservative allies are thinking the poor are the reasons for the economic recession. Perhaps those who complain about the poor, should walk a day in that person's shoes!
The Republican Party and its allies in the conservative movement are heartless when it comes to the lower and middle class. In their warped minds, the lower class and those who are too poor are stealing from the taxpayers by accepting food stamps, welfare and necessaries.
It's getting old. World News Today send our condolences to the victims of this senseless tragedy.
Will the conservatives label this terrorist a "Democrat"?
I am waiting on the media to figure if he's a member of the Islamic State?
I am waiting on the media to find out if he support the Tea Party Movement.
I don't give a flying fuck about the political views this terrorist. The only thing that I care about is the fact that this terrorist and his wife managed to massacre innocent civilians in San Bernardino.
The terrorist was a "NICE GUY" who was married with a child. The terrorist was an inspector for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, was reportedly in attendance at the department's Christmas party. Coworkers reported that he had been quiet during the early parts of the event and noticed he had left the party abruptly, leaving his coat, before a group photo was taken.
There were some reports that an argument occurred before his departure.
The terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik went into the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, with 14 dead and 18 injured. The terrorists targeted a party for employees of the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, held in an auditorium with at least 100 people, before fleeing in an SUV.
Conservatives are already placing the blame on the Muslim community. The Muslim community isn't responsible for the actions of one. Nobody I know supports senseless violence.
Just today, I just looked at the comments of the previous story posted yesterday and our resident right wing troll continues vomit on the comment pages with the usual tactics.
Deflection, distraction, diversion and disengage. This is the tactics of conservatives in the junk food media. They are so obsessed with "radical Islam" they fail to recognize the obvious. Gun crime is on the rise and our American lawmakers are inept in getting things done.
It seems like it's going to be a discussion about firearms in the workplace or firearms in the hands of those with mental issues. Mental issues and firearms are often associated with mass murders.
But somehow our inept Congress refuses to do something about it. Congress aided by their agitating friends found a solution to mass shootings. They call for more guns in the workplace. More looser restrictions to own firearms.
These laws mainly apply for White people. Whites people rather not see their restrictions to have firearms impeded. The agitators and some in Congress rather see firearm restrictions on Blacks, Latinos and Muslims.
In the wake of tragedies, the Republicans don't want President Barack Obama to "politiicize" a tragedy for gains. But given that the terrorists may have been inspired by the Islamic State, expect Republicans to "politicize" this. They will find ways to pressure military involvement back in Iraq and Syria. They want the American military to stop the Islamic State but offer no direct strategy to taking the extremist group.
They will use this tragedy as an excuse destroy the Iranian nuclear deal.
Mass shootings are becoming almost a daily occurrence.
See once again, our junk food media will spook the American people with tales of the scary Muslim.
Here's the usual tactics of the junk food media.
Black Shooters = Thugs = Muslim Shooters = Terrorists = White Shooters = Mental Illness Black Drug Dealers = Thugs = Hispanic Drug Dealers = Drug Cartels = White Drug Dealers = Troubled RIGHT WING TROLLS = WHAT ABOUT THIS?
A bullet has no eyes. It will always hit a target.
Stay tuned for the Blame Game. I will take an opportunity to write about it as soon as I can.
While I was at work, I heard about this tragedy in California. Matter of fact, I just shake my head when I heard about it. Another mass shooting in the United States. Just last Friday, a mass shooting.
Every month has been a mass shooting. And it seems to be getting worse by the day.
Here in the United States, we have more gun violence than any other nation in the world.
Our inept lawmakers are ignoring the obvious. The Republican Party and their conservative allies are totally stupid. They say that all criminals are Democrats. They believe that "radical Islam" is a bigger threat than gun violence.
Now I can assure you that many on the left are getting tired of hearing the right sending prayers and thoughts to the families. I am getting tired of hearing agitators complain about "politicizing" events.
I am getting tired of having to hear every agitator point to one group instead of the shooter.
This shit should be politicized. We're not doing enough to stop gun violence.
Tactical units were dispatched.
San Bernardino has experienced a mass shooting today. Three suspects (one man and one woman) emerged upon the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California guns ablazing. These suspects managed to take out at least 31 victims. There were 14 dead and 17 injured.
The shooters reportedly targeted a banquet hosted by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, held in an auditorium with at least 100 people in attendance.
Initial reports indicated there may have been up to three shooters with rifles. They fled in an SUV.
Syed Farook was leaked to the junk food media as one of the suspects still at large. He has managed to elude authorities for the time being.
Democratic governor Jerry Brown and President Barack Obama were notified about the situation.
The presidential candidates have also been notified and express condolences for the victims.
President Barack Obama went right into it. "Our hearts go out to the victims and their families." He further commented, "People we don't allow to fly could go into a store right now in the United States and buy a firearm and there's nothing that we can do to stop them. That's a law that needs to be changed."
He called for bipartisan cooperation to reduce the frequency of events such as this.
Who will actually be blamed for the mass shooting tragedy in San Bernardino?
This goes right up with the Sandy Hook tragedy.
GUN CONTROL ISN'T ABOUT TAKING YOUR GUNS! IT'S ABOUT KEEPING THEM OUT OF THE HANDS OF STREET GANGS, DRUG CARTELS, PEOPLE INVOLVED IN SEX TRAFFICKING, TERRORISTS, VIOLENT CRIMINALS, ANIMAL POACHERS, PEOPLE WHO HAVE MENTAL ISSUES OR ABUSIVE FAMILY MEMBERS! WILL IT TAKE THE SHOOTING OF A GUN RIGHTS SUPPORTING REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT TO CHANGE THE TONE? I GUESS NOT! CAUSE GABRIELLE GIFFORDS WAS A GUN SUPPORTING LAWMAKER WHO WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD. SHE BARELY SURVIVED HER SHOOTING. NOW SHE IS PERMANENTLY DISABLED AND NOT ONE OF HER COLLEAGUES IN CONGRESS DONE ONE THING TO CHANGE THE TONE. WHO'S GOING TO BE SHOT BY A PERSON WITH MENTAL ISSUES OR EXTREME POLITICAL VIEWS? HOW MANY COPS WILL BE KILLED BY ASSAULT WEAPONS? HOW MANY INNOCENT VICTIMS AND UNARMED CRIMINALS BE KILLED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT? HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE TO BE SHOT FOR DOING THEIR JOBS AS PUBLIC SERVANTS, RETAIL CLERKS, FEDERAL WORKERS, AND THOSE WHO REPORT THE NEWS? WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO BE BULLIES TO THOSE WHO MAY EVENTUALLY TAKE REVENGE ON ALL OF US AT THE BARREL OF A GUN? I'M NOT ASHAMED TO SAY THIS! WE NEED TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE WITH FIREARMS AND THE RISE OF EXTREMISM CAUSED BY HOSTILE POLITICS! PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AND CONGRESS BETTER GET THEIR HEADS OUT THEIR ASSES! THIS STUFF IS HAPPENING EVERYDAY AND PEOPLE ARE GETTING TIRED OF IT. I DON'T WANT PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS. I WANT ACTION NOW! NO MORE BULLSHIT ABOUT GUN GRABS AND FALSE EQUIVALENCIES! END THE BLAME GAME! END GUN VIOLENCE!
