Unfinished Business!

Dan McCready is looking like he's going to win a seat once held by Republicans. If the Democrat wins this special election, Republicans will start panicking.
Republicans are not optimistic about their chances of holding the House of Representatives. They're showing signs of concern with the U.S. Senate. However, we can't take this for granted. We want to be extremely motivated. We want to not take our eyes off the prize here. We need to get motivated to vote in 2020. We need to vote these assholes out of office and reject the status quo politics that driven us here.

Democrat Dan McCready has a narrow advantage over Republican Dan Bishop heading into the final days of the Sept. 10 redo election in North Carolina’s 9th District, according to a new bipartisan poll for Inside Elections.
Mark Harris faces a state investigation.
The survey, conducted from Monday through Wednesday by Harper Polling and Clarity Campaign Labs, showed McCready ahead of Bishop, 46 percent to 42 percent, with two third-party candidates receiving a combined 3 percent. Some 8 percent of voters were “unsure” and the survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.19 percentage points.

When voters who were leaning toward one candidate were included, McCready’s advantage extended to 49-44 percent.

In November 2018, McCready finished less than a point behind Republican Mark Harris, but a winner was never certified or seated in Congress because of allegations of fraud by a GOP consultant affiliated with the Harris campaign.

The district covers Charlotte's suburbs. It was once a relatively safe Republican seat. Now the seat is up for grabs and Donald J. Trump and Republicans are hoping to win this..

Dan Bishop, the Republican nominee is hoping to keep the seat in Republican hands. But given that he's a late entry and the guy who sponsored an anti-transgender bathroom law, his support is eroding.

Early voting shows a neck and neck.

Roll Call has the Democrat leading in the polls. However, many Democrats are cautious about their chances to win a seat that was once occupied by former U.S. Congressman, Republican Robert Pittenger. The Republican was defeated in a primary by a controversial Republican activist.
A tale of two Dans. Dan Bishop is the Republican attorney who sponsored the anti-LGBTQ bathroom law. Dan McCready is the anti-Nancy Pelosi Democrat who wants to challenge the status quo.
In 2018, the North Carolina state elections commission rejected a Republican's bid to be certified.

State elections called for a new election and the two candidates agreed to it. But the Republican would sudden withdraw from the race after allegations of voter and election fraud came forth.

Mark Harris was declared the winner after a bitterly fought battle against Democrat Dan McCready.

Harris, a baptist minister and activist won by 905 votes. Harris' pollster Leslie Dowless paid workers to illegally collect absentee ballots from voters. Harris directed Dowless to find ways to destroy ballots.

Dowless was ultimately convicted of election fraud. Harris decided to not run after he was implicated in the scandal. He claimed his health was feeling really bad.

Now September 10 is the special election. Voters need to get out and support Dan McCready.
