Bob 💓 Abishola!

Bob Hearts Abishola is a comedy that shows love having no bounds. It features a sock salesman falling in love with a Nigerian-born nurse.
There is a Chuck Lorre comedy on Monday featuring an interracial couple.

The series Bob "Hearts" Abishola is a new series from Lorre.

Lorre who is best known for his comedies, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Two and a Half Men, Young Sheldon and Mike & Molly has now decided push a comedy about a socks salesman falling in love with a nurse.

The socks salesman played by Bill Gardell is a divorced man who suffered a heart attack. While he was treated, he meets a nurse played by Folake Olowofoyeku who he is smitten by. She is a nurse who was born in Nigeria and she at first despised the advances. But her family and her friends say give him a chance.

Bob runs the successful and high competitive sock company with mother Dottie (Christine Ebersole), is rival sister Christina (Maribeth Monroe) and his slacker brother, Douglas (Matt Jones).

Abishola is a nurse who lives in Chicago with her son, aunt and uncle in a small apartment. Her relatives are very cautious about Bob's intentions but soon start to warm up to as the series proceeds on. Abishola's uncle Tunde is played by Barry Shabaka Henley, her aunt Olu played by Shola Adewusi and Abishola's son Dele (Travis Wolfe, Jr).

Also featured on the show include Vernee Watson as Gloria and Gina Yashere as Kemi/

The show is executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, Al Higgins and Gina Yashere.

Billy Gardell is best known for playing Mike in the series Mike & Molly. Matt Jones was a regular on the series Mom.

The series premiered on Monday after The Neighborhood.
