Black 💰💰💰💰💰 Matters!

DeRay McKesson is calling Shaun King a bullshit artist. He slams the former Black Lives Matter leader for making a profit off the pain of people of color.

A longstanding feud between two prominent faces of the Black Lives Matter movement gotten uglier.

Shaun King and DeRay McKesson aren't talking anymore. The two had a huge fallout in 2015 and both continue to call each other a "fraud."

Today, McKesson shared his thoughts on King on his Medium posting. He said that the movement is still a grassroots organization. He did say that those who promote it are profiting off the rage of people of color.

McKesson wrote back in 2015 that King had blocked him on social media after he called him out on the handling of funds with King's organization Justice Together.

"Johnetta Elzie and I were in a previous public disagreement with Shaun [King] about issues of transparency and ethic that ended in his apology. [He] deleted all of his tweets and noted that he would focus on journalism and would not engage in attempted organizing or fundraising. Importantly, he made this commitment to others both publicly and privately. It is clear now that he did not keep those commitments and after a brief hiatus, re-emerged and began engaging in the same behaviors that cause the last public conflict."

McKesson said that King was ruthless and vindictive. He said that he was invited to join the board of Justice Together in 2015. He was glad to get on board. McKesson said that one time King was a devoted member of ending police violence against people of color. McKesson and Elzie were cautious about being labeled towards fundraising given that Black Lives Matter was toxic to the far-white agitators of Fox News. They would use that as an opportunity to claim that Black Lives Matter was all in for the mighty dollar.

The two got into a heated confrontation with King which ended with him kicking them off the board and blocking them on social media. McKesson asked King how was he earning all this money. King dismissed him and the concerns.

McKesson left this ominous word play.

"The person who paints your house before he steals your car has still committed theft."
