Jermaine McBean was killed by a Broward County sheriff deputy. The deputy was charged with his murder.
Case of similarity. In 2013, a man who was walking down a busy street with an air rifle was fatally shot by a Broward County deputy. The deputy who put down the man is now facing a court date.
This story happened in July 2013. In July 2013, that was the peak of the George Zimmerman verdict.
One year before the media rushed upon the Michael Brown and John Crawford shootings, you may have not heard of the fatal police shooting of Jermaine McBean.
In 2013, a White guy calls 911 to report a Black man walking with a firearm. A South Florida deputy fatally shot and killed Jermaine McBean after calls were reported of a man walking with a rifle. Jeremaine was walking to his apartment from a pawn shop after he purchased an air rifle.
Ex-deputy indicted on involuntary manslaughter.
Broward County deputy Peter Peraza opened fire on him. Peraza claimed Jermaine didn't listen to his orders and lunged at him.
Jermaine was a Black man who was a computer systems engineer who had no criminal history was shot on sight by Peraza. Jermaine's family says he was listening to music on his phone and that could have prevented him from hearing commands to drop the air rifle.
Peraza and fellow deputies were trying to make the case that Jermaine went towards them fell through. The sheriff of Broward County, Scott Israel didn't buy the story.
Peraza was iced without pay. He was facing a state and federal probe.
Now two years later, the Florida prosecutors has indicted Peraza for involuntary manslaughter and police misconduct. He surrendered to the law this morning. He will face a court date.
Peraza is innocent until proven guilty. If he is convicted with involuntary manslaughter he could face 10 to 25 years in the iron college.
Graphic photo showing Jermaine shot in the chest. He was wearing earbuds.
This incident happened before the junk food media started covering the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
Did you know that Florida is an open carry state?
It seems like if you're a Black man carrying a firearm (real or fake), the law perceives you as a threat. You may not even have a second to put the firearm down. The law will plug you full of holes the moment you turn your head.
John Crawford III of Hamilton, Ohio lost his life in a Dayton area Walmart after he picked up an air rifle. He as carrying it through the store. A white shopper called the law on him saying that John was pointing it menacing at people. The law arrives and within two seconds, he was shot in the stomach and arm. He would die of his injuries. Another shopper Angela Williams would die after being spooked by the gunfire.
John Crawford's death made national news. In the state of Ohio, you are allowed to carry firearms in a public place such as Walmart.
Many Whites believe the fault solely falls on John. For what?
Having the legal right to have an air rifle and carrying it in the store.
Yeah, some of my co-workers are blaming him for his untimely demise. I bet they would have the same thoughts about Jermaine and Tamir Rice. Matter of fact, they probably would say Darrien Hunt shouldn't have wore an anime outfit looking like a samurai. Darrien was killed by the law in 2014 after he was allegedly lunging his toy sword at Saratoga Springs, Utah lawmen.
The Ohio prosecutors decided to not charge the officer Sean Williams for involuntary manslaughter.
Williams is still in the freezer because of a federal probe into his handling of this and a previous encounter with another resident which resulted in the killing of the suspect.
World News Today send our condolences to the family of Jermaine McBean, John Crawford, Michael Brown, Darrien Hunt, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, Rekia Boyd, Jamar Clark, Laquan McDonald and every other victim of gun violence at the hands of police officers.
A couple in Washington was being brutalized by a group of men who didn't approve of their relationship. The couple didn't know their attackers, but they've figured that since they're an interracial couple, the men attacked them.
Serigne Diouf and his girlfriend were leaving a local bar in Bellingham. They got into a confrontation with three White guys outside the bar. They get to shouting and yelling at one another.
Next thing you know, the suspect, Mario Zamora five knuckles rolls the woman in the face.
Then the video goes right into Serigne running after the suspect and his friends. Then of course, the girlfriend gets up and tries to retaliate.
The law came on the scene told everyone involved to break it up. The person who recorded this didn't bother to intervene. He wanted to post it to the hip-hop agitator WorldStarHipHop.
At first, the law did not watch the video, and declined to file charges against anyone at the time. The law believed that everyone was drunk and that no one was seriously injured.
Serigne said he doesn't touch the Jesus juice. Why they didn't bust the guy who put a shiner on his girlfriend's face?
The law later reviewed the video and decided to arrest Zamora on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. The other men were not expected to face charges.
Police Sgt. Mike Scanlon told The Bellingham Herald that the men could not be charged with a hate crime just for using racial slurs.
Diouf, who is black, insisted that the men had ran up on them because they were a mixed-race couple. He said that he still wants to see all of the men charged.
"Because I am a black man they jumped on me and called me a NIGGER," he observed.
The folks over at College Humor recruited First Lady Michelle Obama to do a skit.
The video Go To College has the first lady rapping. It's gone viral and people in the junk food media are impressed by the rapping skills of the First Lady of the United States.
Mrs. Obama and SNL’s Jay Pharoah rock the mic.
And of course, the conservative outrage is off the scale. I am guessing the conservatives are bitching about the first lady rapping.
Jay Pharoah and First Lady Michelle Obama participate in College Humor's "Go To College" music video.
Nevermind, that annoying conservative agitator went into a tirade about it. At the closing of his right wing carnival, he goes into epic rant about First Lady Obama doing a video. He does the false equivalency about terrorism and saying that the Obamas are out of touch with reality.
No, dude. You're out of touch with reality.
First Lady Michelle Obama is trying encourage young people to go to college. She's doing her job as a volunteer, mentor, wife, and mother.
And by the way, she graduated from college. You dropped out of college. You went on to become an agitator who spends three hours on radio and one hour on that right wing network vomiting about President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, liberals and people who don't give two fucks about you.
Ex-OKC officer Daniel Holtzclaw found guilty of rape.
The former Oklahoma City Police officer who ran a pimp game was served. He was found guilty for first-degree rape. An all White jury listened to the testimony of victims who were raped by this crooked piece of shit.
He got fired out the cannon after his superiors seen evidence of misconduct. This misconduct may hurt the relations with the Black community.
The victims were Black women who were on the stroll. The jury saw that Daniel Holtzclaw was guilty of rape and forcible oral sodomy on Thursday.
Holtzclaw faced a total of 36 charges. He got teary eyed when the jury ruled his fate.
This controversy touched the nerve of the community. It dealt with race, policing, and the blue wall of silence.
This situation wasn't getting much attention in the junk food media.
Holtzclaw played the "I'll look the other way" when it came to the criminal activity around Oklahoma City. He had a beat on the stroll. The stroll was Robinson Avenue in Oklahoma City. The stroll is notorious for ladies of the stroll to make $$$$$$$. It's a notorious area for human trafficking and pimping. The ladies were either low level drug offenders and some the ladies may have been HIV-positive. Some ladies would "honey trap" tricks into an area where the pimp or gang members would rob or brutalize the trick.
Prosecutors alleged that Holtzclaw would try to use his badge and charm to con ladies into sexual acts. Some of the women were violators of the road. He would look the other way if they would let him get a feel or a top off.
He told a victim that he get them off their drug charges if they promise to just look the other way and disappear for awhile.
Brian Bates, the Video Vigilante of Oklahoma City. He and his cameramen go through the streets of Oklahoma City to shame men who pick up prostitutes.
When Holtzclaw got off work, he would tell the victims to meet him at a location of his choosing and he would take them home and forcibly rape them.
The junk food media gave Holtzclaw a glaring spotlight before his downfall. He grew up Enid, Oklahoma. He was a star middle linebacker for Eastern Michigan University's football team. He graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He has family involved in law enforcement.
Holtzclaw is born half White and half Japanese. He was accused of raping 13 women, all Black, while he was on duty. Courts says that he identifies himself as "Asian".
Question: Would they give a Black criminal a glaring spotlight?
Well all that shit isn't relevant. What's relevant is the fact that this dangerous man is off the streets.
What's relevant is that this man is charged with rape, sodomy, stalking, sexual battery, robbery, burglary, indecent exposure, forcible oral sodomy, and misconduct as an officer.
The Video Vigilante films two ladies of the stroll. The one who wearing the boots is a notorious geeker named "Sweets". She is a "honey trap" who sets up her tricks.
RAPE IN OKLAHOMA COULD CARRY LIFE IN THE IRON COLLEGE. HE WAS FOUND GUILTY OF THE RAPE CHARGES. NOW THE SAME JURY OR ANOTHER JURY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDING HIS SENTENCE.
I am guessing this sorry excuse for a human being is on "suicide watch" and will appeal his conviction.
Brian Bates, the Oklahoma City Video Vigilante dealt with this stuff for years. On his YouTube page and his website JohnTV.com, he takes the opportunity to shame tricks who use his city as a sexual playground.
Brian may have had a part in bringing down Holtzclaw. I am guessing he's aware of those lawmen who engage with the ladies of the stroll.
This sponge soak got irate at a man who was doing a Muslim prayer at a San Francisco park.
The rhetoric of Donald Trump and the other clowns running has created this negative backlash.
Now a California state worker may face a cannon firing after a video showing her getting into a verbal tirade with a man who was holding a Muslim prayer at a San Francisco park.
Rasheed Albeshari whipped out the camera and filmed the woman holding a coffee cup berating him over his religion.
When a park ranger told the woman to move along, she gets into another verbal argument with Rasheed and then tossed the hot stuff on him.
The name of the woman was released by the San Francisco Chronicle. Denise Slader is now getting her share of death threats from the trolls and outraged.
Albeshari who lives in San Francisco and drives for Uber and Lyft when not studying at the City College of San Francisco decided to get out of the car and take a video of the incident. He said he and his friends had initially gone to the park to barbecue and play volleyball.
“I would have never thought this would happen specifically, in California and in the Bay Area," he said, adding that he moved to the region from North Carolina.
Still, he said, the Bay Area is home.
"This is where I live and I'm going to stay here, I'm going nowhere, because I love this place, even though this lady tried to make a hateful place but she failed," he said.
Albeshari, 31, said he's been flooded with messages and calls of support since he posted the video.
"It's just amazing how Americans are," he said. "It's overwhelming to see all that support."
Slader told KTVU that she "wanted to tell them about Christ and that what they're doing, what they believe in, their Allah that he was praying to right there in the park openly, is not of god, it's of the devil."
She said that "the self-defense part of me as a human being kicked in, and I hit the camera with my umbrella."
A man who answered the phone at Slader's Castro Valley home on Wednesday morning said she was not available to speak.
I'm an American. I have a right to pray in my country.
The incident posted on social media went viral. The junk food media had to find out whether this woman resided in the area. It turns out that she not only lives in San Francisco, but works at the iron college.
She is a program technician in the parole division. A spokesman for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says that Slader is treading on thin ice.
The law may charge Slader with a hate crime. That crime alone could have her seeing the inside of the job she once worked for. A hate crime charge in California could carry up to ten years.
Slader is innocent until proven guilty.
World News Today wishes Rasheed Albeshari and his family well on their journey.
#Islamophobia After praying, this lady approached us and started yelling at us that we're brainwashed for believing in Allah, "Allah is evil" she said. I started video taping her, I ,also, was hit by an umbrella before taking a shower of coffee right on my face. And what happened next was this..

Sofia Vergara joins entertainers in a public service announcement demanding Congress pass reasonable gun control laws. I can imagine Republicans are going to ignore them. I can see conservative agitators call them "limousine liberals".
Amy Schumer, Julliane Moore, Jennifer Anniston, Sarah Silverman, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Silverman, Nathan Lane, Debra Messing, Kevin Bacon, Michael J. Fox, Olivia Munn, and Kristen Schaal joined the president in a PSA. The entertainers plea to Congress do something about gun violence.
The PSA is called "We Can End Gun Violence".
"This new video sends a clear message that we will rally together to help end gun violence. The gun safety movement has grown tremendously over the past few years and what’s more: we’re winning. We’re defeating the gun lobby in statehouses across the country and making it clear that we won’t sit idly by while 88 Americans are killed by gun violence every day and hundreds more are injured," President Barack Obama said.
The recent San Bernardino shootings are now being morphed into an Islamic State themed terrorist attack. The terrorists murdered 14 people and injured 31. They were killed in a hail of gunfire.
The one before that was Colorado Springs. The terrorists was shooting at law enforcement and residents fleeing from the Planned Parenthood location. The terrorist murdered 3 people and injured 12. The law managed to apprehend the terrorist. He will face a jury on capital murder.
The one that didn't catch too much attention was in Colorado Springs. The terrorist went on to murder 4 people and injure many before the law put him down quickly.
The one before that was Umpqua Community College. The terrorist went on to murder 10 people and injure many before he would take his own life.
And we can go on and on and on and on....
The #NotOneMore campaign is launched by the Organizing for America campaign. The president is pressing for reasonable gun control laws.
Now Americans are starting to notice that gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.
#BlackLivesMatter, the Council on American Islam Relations (CAIR), Planned Parenthood, and other organizations are rallying people to demand change. They are demanding for Congress to change course or face an usurping.
Amy Schumer.
It's starting to work in a slow, painful and yes frustrating way.
People in the city of Chicago are calling for the firing of Rahm Emmanuel. The embattled mayor has seen his city seen mass murder on a daily basis. Even the police force is committing mass murder.
The people of Baltimore managed to get Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to fire herself out the cannon. Baltimore has seen many mass murders within this year. That doesn't include the death of Freddie Gray.
Jon Stewart of Comedy Central came to The Daily Show recently to slam House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate leader Mitch McConnell for failing to pass a simple law. He demands Congress pass the 9/11 Responders Health bill. Stewart was frustrated with lawmakers inserting partisan pork into bipartisan bills so they can blame the president for a government shutdown.
Stewart retired from the show and passed it to Trevor Noah.
These latest actions are starting to get attention by the junk food media. The junk food media is also getting tired of being labeled "liberal" by the agitators and presidential candidates. The junk food media gave the Republicans 3:1 television coverage.
And yet, the conservative concern trolls ignore all the pleas.
I've seen it in the comment section. I've seen it in the social media pages. I've heard it on radio, teleivsion, print, and internet websites. All I hear from conservatives is tongue and nothing more.
Republicans are so freaking inept. The Republican candidates running for president, the Congress and the conservative agitators spent more time pissing off Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims and women.
Liberalism (or perhaps progressive views) are on the rise in the United States. Conservatives are trying to delay and/or deny the inevitable.
They don't see that their policies are out of touch with the United States. The rise of Donald Trump is possibly one of the recent surges in conservatism.
I can imagine that annoying conservative agitator calling them limousine liberals.
I guess Donald Trump's comments were the last straw for the conservative agitator CJ Pearson. He formally denounced conservatives and threw his support to Bernie Sanders.
The internet sensation decided to give up on conservatism. After seeing the reactions towards Laquan McDonald, the Muslim community and a handful of death threats sent his way, CJ Pearson has given up his conservative ways.
In early 2015, CJ Pearson lit into President Barack Obama. He won praise from the likes of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, that old fart Limbaugh and that annoying conservative agitator.
He became famous for saying that Obama doesn't love America because he doesn't recognized the threat of the "conservatives word vomit de jour of 'radical Islam'".
Now he finally said "enough is enough". He said he's done going after the president. He said that he'll endorse Bernie Sanders for president.
The conservatives weren't pleased about Pearson's latest change of heart. Matter of fact, he probably got a lot of "extremist rhetoric" from his former supporters.
Erick Erickson's Redstate decided to send Pearson a parting shot.
Bernie Sanders won him a fan. The conservative agitator CJ Pearson toned down his rhetoric.
Erickson told Person to stop embarrassing himself, shut up, and go live life.
"[CJ], Pay attention to politics, but also pay attention to movies, sports, girls, your parents, your preacher, and your surroundings. Come back when you are eighteen, your voice has deepened, and you’ve passed your final growth spurt. Because about the time you stop growing externally, that’s when you really start growing internally. Your body takes the intellectual nutrition you are consuming now as a kid and grows it into the man you will be. Social media attention is not intellectual nutrition", said Erickson.
"Right now you are a kid. If you want fame on social media that bad right now, the man you grow into is going to be twisted up with shallow roots. You’re going to get blown over in a breeze. So get off social media and go play," the conservative agitator added.
In the state of Florida, a robbery suspect met an untimely fate. Matthew Riggins wanted to geek people of their properties. He was "out on bail" when was prowling around the Brevard County subdivisions. He and his partner were snooping through a yard when someone called the law on them. They were dressed in black and it was dark in the city of Barefoot Bay.
The law quickly arrived to the area. The two men decided to split. In order to not be caught, Riggins told his girlfriend that he's going to be on the run for a minute, he'll call her when the heat dies down.
The partner went towards the streets, Riggins ran toward a lake.
Riggins was hiding in the brush. And he didn't know that nature's fury was calling.
Well Riggins never called. His family reported him missing. Many in the area say that something was lurking in the brushes. They knew the area near the lake was extremely dangerous.
It was ten days later, the Brevard County sheriff's dive team found the problem. The problem was resting near a nest with a nearly decapitated body of Riggins. The body of Riggins was found in November. It was finally confirmed by the state bag 'em ups.
That problem was an 11 foot alligator. The alligator had drowned Riggins, a 6'1", 22 year old man and decapitated his arm and foot. That's what the trappers found inside the stomach of the alligator.
They had to put it down after the alligator got aggressive.
This was the second fatal alligator attack in less than two months. James Okkerse met his fate to a 12 foot alligator. Okkerse was swimming in a state park and the alligator got him.
World News Today send our condolences to Matt Riggins and James Okkerse.
American Alligators are crocodiles. The alligator's habitat stretches in the bayous of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
I had read a blog on how the South treated slaves. This is the type of stuff that could spark extremism in the Black community.
In the day of slavery, White men and their sons would steal babies and small children of slaves. They would use these innocent babies as alligator bait.
Often they would tie the baby by the neck and torso. As the baby was screaming, these men would dunk the baby in the water to attract the alligators. It was told that the alligator would almost immediately swallow the baby. The men would grab the alligator out the water and hit the creature over the head with a pick ax and let it bleed to death. They would skin the creature for meat and its skin.
This practice carried into the early 20th Century. Mind you that the slavery days have passed since the Civil War and the Reconstruction.
Mayor Rahm Emmanuel at first didn't see the problem with the Chicago Police. The recent release of the Laqaun McDonald video shows more than just a problem, it shows an epidemic.
The Chicago police is under federal investigation. The U.S. Justice Department is looking into police brutality, corruption and misconduct. Emanuel said he welcomes the investigation and promised the city's total cooperation in achieving the "mutual goal" of keeping Chicago safe while respecting citizens' rights.
"Nothing is more important to me than the safety and well-being of our residents and ensuring that the men and women of our Police Department have the tools, resources and training they need to be effective crime fighters, stay safe and build community trust," Emanuel said in a statement.
He later told reporters that the city will be made better because of the investigation.
"We accept it, and we need it," he said, describing the current moment as an inflection point.
"None of the measures we have taken have ever measured up to the seriousness, the scope, the scale of the challenge in front of us as a city," Emanuel said.
I mean it's not the type of stuff you find on Mike & Molly, Chicago PD, and The Chicago Code.
Two disturbing videos were released by the Chicago prosecutor Anita Alverez.
The first video shows the Chicago Police shooting upon a fleeing suspect.
The second video shows the Chicago Police using a Taser on an unruly suspect in Cook County lockup. Philip Coleman was pronounced dead on the ride to the hospital.
Each of these officers were cleared of misconduct charges.
The public is calling for a cannon firing of not only the prosecutor but the mayor as well. Many figured that political corruption kept these videos from seeing daylight.
Not going to dent him. The negative is actually helping him.
The junk food media had said this before about Donald Trump's poll numbers being in trouble.
The Republicans said that "we don't know if this could hurt Trump with the voters".
And like the last time, he ended up surging. The Republicans believe that political correctness is making their candidates too soft. They overwhelmingly support Trump when it comes to handling terrorism.
Given his lack of experience in foreign policy, many Republicans believe that if you're too much of a fixture in Washington, DC, you're a nobody to them. Even Ted Cruz suffers. He's supposed to be the anti-government lawmaker. But since he's a fixture in Washington, many Republicans don't support him.
Republicans really have a real mess on them. The insurgents still support The Donald despite all the extreme rhetoric coming out his mouth.
Last night, Trump called for a ban of all Muslims entering the United States. The remarks grew a loud applause from his supporters, widespread condemnation from the Democrats and even the Republicans.
Trump made his remarks down in South Carolina on the commemoration of the Pearl Harbor attacks.
He read from a paper remarks from the junk food media. Trump at first blast the junk food media for being dishonest in his quoting. He called the junk food media, "scum". He reads a poll from the Center for Security Policy, about foreign sentiment about America from Muslims.
The Southern Poverty Law Center said that the Center for Security Policy and its founder Frank Gaffney are anti-Islam and openly called for profiling of Muslims in the United States.
Trump gets riled up by the tragedy in San Bernardino. As he read from the paper he called for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on. That remark got a thunderous applause from his crowd.
He said "we have no choice".
He finished reading the paper by saying the sentiment from Muslims towards America is hateful.
He was on the USS Yorktown and told a crowd that American Muslims justify attacks on the country and support Shir'a law. The comments he read came from the Center for Security Policy.
For the Republicans, they likely agree with Trump's remarks. They just don't say that shit in the public venue. They say this shit behind closed doors and through dog whistle politics. Matter of fact, they wished they could have said what Trump said but they don't say it like that.
They usually motivated by the words "radical Islam". Trump's remarks are equal to what the Republicans and their conservative allies say about Muslim everyday.
Here's our poll
Do you believe that Trump's remarks will doom the Republican Party?
View the video in its complete form. Before you take our poll.
Anyway, the comments attracted major controversy. The Republican candidates quickly condemned him. Several fellow Republican presidential candidates were quick to condemn Donald Trump’s call Monday to end all Muslim entry to the United States.
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham was first to respond, calling the statement "downright dangerous" to the United States, and he was quickly followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who called it "ridiculous" and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush who called Trump "unhinged."
Jeb Bush said via Twitter. "His 'policy' proposals are not serious."
John Kasich slammed Trump's "outrageous divisiveness," while a more measured Ted Cruz, who has always been cautious about upsetting Trump's supporters, said, "Well, that is not my policy."
Trump's plan also drew criticism from the heads of the Republican Party in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, the first three states to vote in next year's presidential primaries.
New Hampshire GOP's chairwoman Jennifer Horn said the idea is "un-Republican. It is unconstitutional. And it is un-American," while South Carolina chairman Matt Moore said on Twitter, "As a conservative who truly cares about religious liberty, Donald Trump's bad idea and rhetoric send a shiver down my spine."
Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said Trump's proposed ban would apply to "everybody," including Muslims seeking immigration visas as well as tourists seeking to enter the country.
His campaign did not immediately respond to questions about whether it would also include Muslims who are U.S. citizens and travel outside of the country, including members of the military, or how a determination of someone's religion might be made by customs and border officials.
Instead, Trump said via a campaign spokeswoman: "Because I am so politically correct, I would never be the one to say. You figure it out!"
There are more than 5,800 servicemen and women on active U.S. military duty and in the reserves who self-identify as Muslim and could be assigned to serve overseas. Trump said in an interview Monday night on the right wing network, "They'll come home." He added, "This does not apply to people living in the country, except that we have to vigilant."
It was also unclear whether Trump's ban would apply to Muslim allies in the fight against Islamic State militants. Ari Fleischer, a former aide to Republican President George W. Bush, tweeted, "Under Trump, the King Abdullah of Jordan, who is fighting ISIS, won't be allowed in the US to talk about how to fight ISIS."
But at Trump's rally in South Carolina, the proposed ban struck supporter Shelley Choquette as reasonable, because "it's not going to be forever. I think everybody needs to be checked."
Religion can factor into immigration decisions, but that typically happens when people are fleeing religious persecution. People of a particular religion may get favorable treatment by the United States, as when Russian Jews sought to leave the Soviet Union.
In the late 1800s, Congress passed legislation broadly aimed at halting Chinese immigration. But said Leti Volpp, a University of California expert on immigration law, "there is no precedent for a religious litmus test for admitting immigrants into the United States."
"Excluding almost a quarter of the world's population from setting foot in the United States based solely upon their religious identity would never pass constitutional muster," Volpp said.
Trump's proposal comes a day after President Barack Obama spoke to the nation from the Oval Office about the shootings in San Bernardino, California, which Obama said was "an act of terrorism designed to kill innocent people."
The FBI said Monday the Muslim couple who carried out the massacre had been radicalized and had taken target practice at area gun ranges, in one case within days of the attack last week that killed 14 people.
Trump's campaign has been marked by a pattern of inflammatory statements, dating back to his harsh rhetoric about Mexican immigrants. He has taken a particularly hard line against Muslims in the days since the Paris attacks, advocating enhanced surveillance of mosques due to fears over radicalization.
"Donald Trump sounds more like a leader of a lynch mob than a great nation like ours," said Nihad Awad, national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "He and others are playing into the hands of Islamic State. This is exactly what Islamic State wants from Americans: to turn against each other."
White House spokesman Josh Earnest accused Trump of playing on people's fears and trying to tap into "a darker side, a darker element" of American society.
From the Democratic presidential campaign, Bernie Sanders said "Trump and others want us to hate all Muslims" and Hillary Clinton called the proposal "reprehensible, prejudiced and divisive."
On Capitol Hill, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona said, "It's just foolish."
But will it hurt Trump in the campaign? "I have no idea," McCain said. "I thought long ago that things he said would hurt his prospects, and he continues to go up."
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has also spoke out against the comments of Trump. The civil rights organization strongly believes the rhetoric from Republicans is sparking a rise in Islamophobia. They think that Trump is a demagogue.
Out of the gutter comes Stacey Dash. Her mouth once again popped off. It got her bosses over at the right wing network pissed. She got freezer burn for cursing on the air.
Retired U.S. army colonial Ralph Peters getting freezer burn for calling President Barack Obama a pussy. He was pulled after the taping. Now here comes washed up actress and conservative agitator Stacey Dash. She found herself in the same spot because of the shit coming out her mouth.
The actress best known for being "Clueless" once again takes it a bit too far.
In regards to the president's Sunday night speech, Dash went bananas.
"It’s ridiculous," she said on Outnumbered. "His speech was an epic fail. It was like when you have to go to dinner with your parents, but you have a party to go to afterwards, that’s what it felt like."
"I did not feel any better. I didn’t feel any passion from him…" she continued. "I felt like he could give a shit– excuse me, like he could care less." The right wing network's censors were on point, however, and only the first part of the swear word made it on air.
Dash continued the tirade. "[Obama] could care less. And here we have 14 people dead. Today is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, okay? His speech should have had a lot more passion. Where is Winston Churchill when we need him, is all I have to say. We are at war. He should have said that. The fact that he said terrorism, we're all excited that he said terrorism. Big deal. What is that going to do?
Nothing."
I mean if this was the line that was crossed, I could imagine how far she'll go before she gets fired out the cannon.
Her freezer burn came swiftly. Bill Shine, the managing executive for the right wing network said that the words uttered by Dash and Peters were "totally out of line".
If this was "totally out of line", I wonder what else is said when the cameras are off!
Retired U.S. army colonial Ralph Peters got freezer burn after he went on that right wing business network to call President Barack Obama a vulgar woman's body party.
Let's put it in layman's terms: He called the president a pussy!
Stuart Varney of "Varney & Co." asked about Obama's Sunday night address on terrorism, Peters melted down.
"Well, first of all, he keeps speaking about 'we can't give into our fears.' You know, 'don't be afraid.' Look, Mr. President, we're not afraid. We're angry. We're pissed off. We're furious. We want to see you react. We want you to do something," Peters' tirade began.
"You're afraid. I mean, this guy is such a total pussy, it's stunning," Peters exploded.
"We the people, the American people, who he does not know in any intimate sort of manner. We want action. We want action against Islamic State and then when the president is telling us he is going to destroy ISIS," he continued.
"This is a president who has done more harm to American police departments than he has done to Islamic State. This is a president who restrains our military. He uses it not to defeat ISIS, but for political purposes for political cover. This is a president who doesn't want to hurt our enemies, this is a president who cares more about thugs in Guantanamo or thugs in Ferguson, Missouri, than he does about law-abiding American citizens and their right to live in safety and peace."
As the smoke cleared, Varney, who could tell Peters was "super angry," scolded his guest for using such vulgar language.
Peters apologized and Varney tried to move on. He then asked Peters if there was "anything" in the president's speech that could contribute to defeating ISIS.
"No," Peters began, "with The New York Times, he's convinced the problem is gun control -- that's what we've got to fix. And the problem is Islamic terror. Now certainly, Stuart, we could use more intelligent approaches to keeping guns out of the hands of psychotics -- the Founding Fathers did not intend for every drunk psycho to have a machine gun collection. But law-abiding Americans owning guns is not the problem here. The problem is Islamist terrorism, and the president will not even say Islamist terrorism."
Varney stopped Peters' rant again. He said Peters had used "some very strong language" about the president of the United States and that he had to ask Peters to either apologize for what he said or retract his statement.
"I apologize. I apologize," Peters said.
Trying once again to get the interview back on track, Varney asked Peters what he would have liked Obama to say during his address.
"I'm not interested in what he says anymore," Peters said. "I want him to do. I want him to act. I want him to take on Islamic State. I want him to unleash our military. And yes, Stuart, I do apologize for giving in to my anger, but I feel like you know the American people understand where I'm coming from on this. My choice of words was incorrect, but my sentiment, I think, is shared by many."
Varney then concluded the interview with a gentle admonishing of Peters.
"Calm down, lad. Calm down," Varney said.
On Monday afternoon, Bill Shine, senior executive vice president of programming for the right wing network said in a statement obtained by HuffPost that Peters' comments were "completely unacceptable for our air." Shine said the cable network does not condone the use of such language and that it had suspended Peters for two weeks.
When Republicans are running their mouths, some of the stuff they be saying is close enough to uttering Barack Obama's a NIGGER.
