The seventh album from Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi.
Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and business executive. He is considered an alternative rap and rock musician.
KiD CuDi, 36 may be seeing Grammy nomination with his latest album.
This 18-track album is produced mainly by Cudi and Dot da Genius along with Plain Pat, Emile Haynie and MIke Dean who contributed to Cudi’s previous albums and the Man on the Moon series. He also has Take a Daytrip, Finneas, Haynie, Dennis Cummings, Nosaj Thing, FnZ, J Gramm, Bow, Teddy Walton, Kihoffer, Graves, Heavy Mellow, E*vax, Audio Anthem, William Sullivan, Ramii, Charlie Handsome, WondaGurl, Jenius, Len20 and 18yoman,
His album has features from Skepta, Pop Smoke, Phoebe Bridgers and Trippie Redd.
Man on the Moon III: The Chosen was released on December 11, 2020 and it deals with the struggles have with his evil alter ego.
Cudi has been honest about his bipolar disorder and complicated suicide at one time.
The Chosen has three Acts to the album.
The acts include Act I: Return 2 Madness, Act II: The Rager, The Menace, Act III: Heart of Rose Gold and Act IV: Powers.
Born the youngest of four children, Cudi grew up in Cleveland, Ohio’s suburb of Cleveland Heights. His father is African American and Mexican American descent and his mother is African American.
He went through depression when his father passed away from cancer. He tried to take his mind of his father’s loss by learning music. He studied music and film. He was kicked out of Solon High School after he threatened to punch the principal and ended up getting a GED.

He went to the University of Toledo to study film but ended up dropping out. He tried to join the U.S. Navy but was dismissed because he had a lengthy juvenile record.
He learned the skills by listening to A Tribe Called Quest and The Pharcyde.
He would meet rapper/media mogul Kanye West who would sign him to G.O.O.D. Music.
Cudi recorded three studio albums under the G.O.O.D. label and his Wicked Awesome Records. Cudi would break from Kanye West to strike it on his own.
He went on to record a collaborative album with Kanye West in 2018. They created the group Kids See Ghost and recorded their debut album on Def Jam.
He is also working with Travis Scott on a collaborative album.
He previously released a rock album with Dot da Genius called WZRD.
Cudi is the father of a daughter Vada Wamwene Mescudi.
He resides in Cleveland, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Kid Cudi is a lyrical genius and talent god. He overcame heartbreak, grief and suicide attempts.
