As The Electoral College Certifies Biden, Trump Screams Again!

The 50 states and the District of Columbia will gather today for the Electoral College. Each state will cast two votes. One for president, one for vice president. As expected, Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States.

There are 538 electors. Each state has a number of electors which equals the combined total of its congressional delegation, and each state legislature is free to determine the method it will use to select its own electors.

The electors will meet in each state and cast their ballots. Each elector votes on his or her won ballot and signs it. The ballots are immediately transmitted to various people: one copy goes to the president of the U.S. Senate (that is Vice President of the United States); this copy that will be officially counted later. Other copies go to the state’s secretary of state, the National Archives and Records Administration, and the presiding judge in the district where the electors meet (this serves as a backup copy that would replace the official copy sent to the president of the Senate if it is lost or destroyed),

Biden and Kamala Harris certification means that President Donald J. Trump is officially and finally eliminated from the race.

Trump has not conceded yet. But the reality is that it’s over!

No concession is needed from Trump for Biden to become president, none has been offered and Trump may never admit he was beaten fair and square. 

Now the feds are watching the electors making sure they safely cast their ballots.

Trump supporters have chatter online threatening violence. The feds are monitoring websites and watching for potential terrorist attacks.

Never in my life, have I seen such fury over an election. Yes, Hillary Clinton lost in 2016. I was disappointed and angry but I didn’t threaten Trump or Vice President Mike Pence. I didn’t call the election a fraud.

I believed that Trump used Russian intelligence to help him win though. He tried this shit again with the Hunter Biden laptop and this time social media was ahead of the curve. They knew that if Trump and his allies continue to push misinformation, they would lose their impact to generate revenue.

It is over! Donald Trump and Mike Pence are eliminated.

Trump sucked. I really believe he may go down in history as one of America’s worst presidents.

This pandemic is a prime example of the failures he will never accept. He allowed 350,000 Americans to die from this coronavirus pandemic. He now wants credit for getting the vaccines out to Americans. He wants credit for the good and passes the blame to others for the bad.

You can’t be president. The president is the head of state. He is the buck that stops here.

The Congress is the legislative body that passes bills. The Supreme Court is the final say in disputes that involve state and federal issues. The president is the prime ambassador, the people’s person, the signer of legislation, the commander in chief and the man/woman in charge of millions. 

Trump will not see himself as a failure. His supporters will not see him as a failure. Reality will soon settle in when January 20, 2021 comes. When Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. and Kamala Devi Harris take the oath of office to become the next President and Vice President of the United States.
