Eric Salwell's Fortune Cookie Spied On Him!

The junk food media reveals that Rep. Eric Swalwell had interacted with a Chinese spy five years ago.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is pissed. He is pissed that President Donald J. Trump’s Justice Department released details about the California lawmaker’s involvement with a woman who may have worked on behalf of the Chinese government. 

Swalwell was one of the many Democrats running for president in 2019. He bowed out in December 2019 after polling less than 1 point in national polls.

He was shocked when the FBI informed him several years ago that he was targeted by a suspected Chinese intelligence operative as part of a broader effort to establish ties with U.S. politicians, reiterating that he did cooperate with the feds and the individual in question.

Axios reported that Swalwell had been compromised by a woman named Christine Fang or Fang Fang. She took part in a fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 reelection campaign and helped place an intern in the California Democrat’s office.

Swalwell, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee was vocal about Trump. He supported impeachment. He believes that Trump deliberately leaked this to create controversy.

“At the same time this story was being leaked out is the time that I was working on impeachment on the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees,” Swalwell said. 

“If this is a country where people who criticize the president are going to have law enforcement information weaponized against them, that’s not a country that any of us want to live in. I hope it is investigated who leaked this information.”

Fang has already gone back to China. 

Trump’s outgoing DNI adviser John Ratcliffe issued a stark warning last week that China is preparing for “an open-ended period of confrontation with the U.S,” urging bipartisan action to address “the greatest threat to American today,” and to “democracy around the world since World War II.”

With Trump defeated, he is vowing to create chaos on his way out. So why not target lawmakers who were critical of him?

Why not target the son of the president-elect?

It’s nothing more than a distraction.

We are reminded that Republicans are compromised by Russia. Trump had gotten help from Russia to help him win his election. He also used Russia to help him try to win his reelection. Thankful it failed.

The woman who got into Republican events, Maria Butina was a spy. Also, Lev Parnas and Igor Furman were operatives for the Russian government.

So I am going to say this without any question, don't throw stones at glass houses.
