Steven "Chase" Miller was killed by the law. |
Benjamin Crump and S. Lee Merritt wish they didn't have to do these type of incidents, but unfortunately they have to for the sake of bringing attention to a disportionate amount of police involved shootings.
Well another name in the books.
Steven "Chase" Taylor, 33 was the man who was shot and killed at a San Leandro, California Walmart on Saturday. Taylor was a father of three.
The law claims they repeatedly tasered him and shot him once in the torso.
A person recorded the encounter and shared it on social media. The cellphone recording shows the moment when the cops shot the man and it left a trail of blood on the floor and it indicated he was shot.

Taylor was threatening officers by swinging a bat and telling the cops that "he wanted to die" and it led to the speculation that it was "suicide by cop."
San Leandro Police Chief Jeff Tudor on Sunday released a statement seeking to "dispel some rumors circulating on social media." The cop discharged "his service weapon one time, striking the subject in the upper body"
Merritt spoke on behalf of the family.
"His life mattered. He had three kids, a beautiful and supportive family and a great big heart. He wanted to make people laugh and be a good provider for his children. He had hit hard times. He had recently lost his home and was dealing with other personal issues that caused him a great deal of distress," said Merritt.
"His erratic/manic behavior at Walmart was a call for help. Many people around the country are reaching a point desperation during this pandemic. Chase needed medical help. He needed mental health issues (like 1/5 of Americans). Instead he was killed. This was completely avoidable and it was up to the trained professionals to safely get him help. They failed us all."
The Alameda County Prosecutor Brendon Woods called the shooting "disturbing and unacceptable."
The moment the cop shot Chase in the torso. |
The cops claimed that they responded to the reports of a man attempting to rob a store.
The two officers were placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether the incident was justified. The names of the cops weren't released.
Someone on social media named @Mike_Myke said he was just feet away from the shooting.
"This dude was saying he wanted to die before the police even arrived. He waited for the police to get here while he was swinging a bat. He was threatening to kill the door greeter. People offered him to help him and he refused. He was saying everybody was living his life and he didn't care anymore."
The user deleted his Instagram post.
"I'm not justifying his death, but this wasn't a Black on White hate crime that they gon make it out to be. My condolences to his family, but this was wild. Like I said, I was right behind the officer. I even tried talking to this dude before the officers arrived. This is a lose-lose situation. My cousin was shot in his sleep by the cops. (He referred to the Oakland Police Department shooting at Taco Bell where a inspiring rapper was gunned down in the drive-thru). So I know the feeling and the hate towards the police. This ain't the same situation."
Nonetheless the opinion, the fact matters. What happened and what should of not happened!
The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!
If there were more security guards and more civilians (aka the good guy) with a gun.......
They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.
They watch violent movies.
They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.
Blah, blah, blah....
They Tased a lifeless body. |
The "good guy" with a firearm is the most dangerous person to have a firearm. Matter of fact, the NICE GUYS are often the ones who are spurned by society. Bad relationships, losing your job, jealousy over promotions, family feuds and racism are typical NICE GUY issues.
NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM.
THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY.
RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" INDIVIDUAL FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.
Don't you just want to scream!?
Did his life matter?
Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."
We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.
I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."
The death rocked the Bay Area. Did the man want to die or did the police use reckless judgment? |
The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.
We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.
Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.
It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
THERE IS NO GOD!
GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS!
We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.
