Maritime Bloodshed: Mass Shooting In Nova Scotia!

Even in the provinces of Canada, there are folks still not adhering to the stay-at-home order.

The COVID-19 has claimed over 2,000 lives in Canada and there's over 30,000 cases in the provinces.

In the United States there's nearly 50,000 lives were lost to the coronavirus and nearly 1 million cases.

Overall, 3 million worldwide coronavirus cases.

And yes, there's still gun violence (even in Canada).

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Primer Stephen McNeil, Parliament, along with U.S. President Donald J. Trump and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence were informed. They will offer the usual bullshit like "thoughts and prayers" and "their hearts going out to."











It's a relentless cycle of phony sympathy.

In the town of Portapique, Nova Scotia, a terrorist killed over a dozen people and a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer. I checked the social media profile of the victim. Her name was Constable Heidi Stevenson of the RCMP-Dartmouth Division.



The terrorist  killed 16 people after a 12-hour shooting rampage across Nova Scotia in the worst act of mass murder the country has seen in modern times.

Several bodies were found inside and outside one home, police said, and several homes were set on fire. Bodies were found at other locations and one police officer was also among the dead.

Officials said the terrorist had also died after shooting people in several locations across the province. Police said late on Sunday night that 16 people had died in addition to the gunman.

"Today is a devastating day for Nova Scotia and it will remain etched in the minds of many for years to come," commanding officer Lee Bergman of the RCMP said on Sunday evening.

Authorities said the terrorist was driving what appeared to be a police car and was wearing a uniform but later reported he was at the wheel of a Chevrolet sports utility vehicle that had been modified to resemble a white RCMP vehicle – "one that he has basically made himself," said Brian Sauvé, president of the National Police Federation. Police have said the suspect was not an employee or officer with the RCMP.

RCMP Chief Superintendent Chris Leather said: "We believe it to be one person who is responsible for all the killings and that he alone moved across the northern part of the province and committed what appears to be several homicides."

Sauvé said a police officer was among those killed in a shooting and another was injured. The dead officer has been identified as Heidi Stevenson, a mother of two and a 23-year-old veteran of the force.

"Heidi answered the call of duty and lost her life while protecting those she served," Bergerman said on Sunday evening. "Two children have lost their mother. And a husband has lost his wife. Parents have lost their daughter and countless others lost an incredible friend and colleague."

The massacre looked to be the worst of its kind since a gunman killed 15 women in Montreal in December 1989. A man driving a van deliberately ran over and killed 10 people in Toronto in April 2018 and a man shot dead six people at an Islamic cultural center in Quebec City in 2017.

Police have not provided a motive for the attack, which reportedly began in the small Atlantic coastal town of Portapique, about 130 km north (80 miles) of Halifax, the provincial capital. Online records show the terrorist ran a denture clinic in the city of Dartmouth, across the water from Halifax.

Portapique residents said the the first they heard about the incident was late on Saturday night when police urged everyone to stay indoors.

Officers arrived at a house after receiving multiple emergency calls and found "several casualties" inside and outside the residence.

One local resident said she had come across two burning police vehicles while out driving on Sunday morning. One man said he saw at least three separate fires.

"There was one officer we could see on scene and then all of a sudden, he went running toward one of the burning vehicles," Darcy Sack told the CBC.

"We heard gunshots," she said, adding that one police officer looked to have been injured.

Police have not yet said how the terrorist died, but Nova Scotia's serious incident response team said it was investigating an event in which RCMP officers "discharg[ed] their firearms" at a suspect on Sunday.

Police initially said the terrorist was driving what appeared to be a police car and was wearing a uniform but later reported he was at the wheel of a Chevrolet sports utility vehicle. The RCMP released a photograph of the terrorist on Sunday morning, warning he was "armed and dangerous."

"I never imagined when I went to bed last night that I would wake up to the horrific news that an active shooter was on the loose in Nova Scotia," Stephen McNeil, the Nova Scotia premier, said on Sunday.

"This is one of the most senseless acts of violence in our province's history," he added. He said it was an additional heavy burden amid efforts to contain the coronavirus.

While police had not released the identities of the victims, resident Jenny Kierstead wrote on Facebook that her sister, Lisa McCully, was among those killed.



"This is so hard to write but many of you will want to know. Our hearts are broken today as we attempt to accept the loss of my sister, Lisa McCully, who was one of the victims of the mass shooting in Portapique last night," she wrote. "Our condolences go out to the other family members who are affected by this tragedy. Thank you for your support, it’s a hard day."

The prime minister, Justin Trudeau, speaking to reporters in Ottawa, deplored what he called "a terrible situation."

Tom Taggart, a lawmaker who represents the Portapique area in the municipality of Colchester, said the quiet community has been shaken.

"This is just an absolutely wonderful, peaceful quiet community and the idea that this could happen in our community is unbelievable," Taggart said by phone from his home in Bass River.

Mass shootings are relatively rare in Canada, which has far tighter gun control laws than the United States.

Sunday's shooting also marks another grim milestone for the RCMP in the Maritime region. In August 2018, a man in the province of New Brunswick, which borders Nova Scotia, shot dead four people, including two police officers, in an apartment complex. In June 2014, in the same province, a man shot dead three police officers.

Let's go down the list of many deadly encounters for police and first responders.

1, Routine traffic stop.
2. Answering a domestic violence or a mentally ill call.
3. Animal (cat, dog, coyote, bear or rabid animal attack).
4. Water rescue (ice, high water or flash flooding).
5. Mass shooting.
6. Friendly fire.
7. Traffic control.
8. High speed pursuits.
9. Exposure to biohazards/pathogens (HIV, STDs, food, blood, vomit or COVID-19).
10. Swatting (including making false statements, hostage negotiations and criminal damaging).
11. Weather (tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires and blizzards).
12. Stress (suicide, domestic issues at home, alcohol abuse, corruption, racism or harassment).

Domestic violence calls are extremely dangerous for police. They don't know what they're walking into. Usually, the aggressor may be armed or mentally ill and the police have to risk their lives to save others.

The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!

If there were more security guards and more civilians (aka the good guy) with a gun.......

They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.

They watch violent movies.

They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.

Blah, blah, blah....

Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.

The "good guy" with a firearm is the most dangerous person to have a firearm. Matter of fact, the NICE GUYS are often the ones who are spurned by society. Bad relationships, losing your job, jealousy over promotions, family feuds and racism are typical NICE GUY issues.

NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM.

THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY.

RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" INDIVIDUAL FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.

Every poll I put out comes with the same stupid ass trolls picking something that doesn't resonate with the general consensus. We're getting tired of this.

Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."

We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.

I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."

Every time these folks offer "thoughts and prayers," "their condolences," "their hearts going out to," and "their apologies," they are not sincere. For every naming of a road, park, bench, building and holiday, it won't matter to the community. For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

We have mass shootings in the United States everyday. We are the only country in the world that continues to do nothing about this. Donald J. Trump, Congress, the National Rifle Association and agitators in the junk food media have moved on from dealing with this. They're too busy sniping over partisan blame games. With Trump being impeached while in office, he's unlikely to focus on gun violence.

Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.

It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. A mass shooting will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.

FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.

They won't be able to attend this RCMP Constable's funeral due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
