The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The former R&B/pop singer is getting more toppings on that federal sandwich. He also claims that the coronavirus could affect him because he has asthma.
The former entertainer has been in federal time out awaiting trial for child pornography and intentions to have sex with underage individuals while traveling state lines. He also has state charges in Illinois, Georgia, Minnesota, California and New York. These charges are going to be concurrent with the federal sandwich.
The predator's lawyers are hoping that he could be released to in-house. The federal judge denied him that chance due to the fact he could pose as a "flight risk." He is currently in the Metropolitan Correctional Center, a USADX in Chicago. He is also on suicide watch.
The judge said that, "[the suspect] is currently in custody because of the risks that he will flee or attempt to obstruct, threaten or intimidate prospective witnesses. The defendant has not explained how those risked have changed."
He has filed a complaint about the facility lacking sanitizing equipment for the safety of himself, others and correction guards.
The federal and state corrections have now barred person to person contact. They are now allowing video streaming and phone chats.
The predator has legal lawsuits against him. He failed to tell one of the many sexual partners he had herpes. Some of the victims were underage at the time.
He is facing a federal charge for witness tampering and forging documents. He also has to pay child support and spousal support. That's in regards to his marriage to Aaliyah.
