The circus of the stars. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus ends.
Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus is ending its run after 147 years.
The Greatest Show on Earth is ending. The historic American circus was very popular. It got a lot of flack after videos surfaced of mistreatment of wildlife began appearing on social media.
Kenneth Fled, the CEO of Feld Entertainment said that the final show will be in May.
The declining ticket sales were the reason. Of course, the decision to end its elephant act was also a factor according to Feld.
The circus began phasing out the elephant shows after animal rights groups continue to hammer on about the mistreatment.
I remember seeing the circus train pass through Dayton in 2011. It was a once in a lifetime to see the train pass through your community. At the time, I was trying to rekindle a relationship with a woman who was waste of my time.
I remember going to the circus in 1987 when I was young. Vaguely remembered it.was at the University of Dayton Arena.
Eddie Long, the pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church passed away. He was long accused of being gay even though he preached anti-gay sermons.
The controversial Atlanta pastor of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church had passed away on Sunday. Eddie Long passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. Or it could have been a latent stage of HIV, who knows?
He died at the age of 63. He was married to Vanessa Griffin-Long and was the father of four children.
"Bishop Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth, transitioned from this life early Sunday morning after a gallant private flight with an aggressive form of cancer," the statement read. "As a man of God with unyielding faith, Bishop Long maintained his commitment to our Heavenly Father as he proclaimed that cancer would not kill his faith nor his spirit."
His wife added, "Eddie is now resting in a better place. Although, his transition leaves a void for those of us who loved him dearly, we can celebrate and be happy for him, knowing he's at peace."
He grew up in North Carolina before settling in Atlanta.
The New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is a megachurch in DeKalb County. Long joined the church in 1987 managed to grow the church to 25,000 members.
Long in 2016.
Long delivered his final sermon to the church earlier this month. He had issued a statement last September to The Christian Post confirming reports that he was battling a "health challenger", but said the undisclosed health issue was unrelated to his raw vegetable diet and requested privacy and prayers for his recovery.
Long was long accused of being gay. He was caught up in numerous scandals involving young men who were groomed by him for sex.
Kim Burrell, a gospel singer and pastor of a Houston church was blackballed after a video surfaced of her bashing gays.
Long was accused of paying men to vacation with him. He would have sex with them without protection. He would put some of his affairs on the church payroll.
He would settle with the accusers for an undisclosed sum. He would not speak on the issue when he does public interviews.
Earlier this year, Kim Burrell, a famed gospel singer and pastor got shade from the Black LGBT community after she was caught on tape bashing gay men. Pharrell Williams, an A-list producer who appears on The Voice severed ties from her. Williams who is straight supports of the LGBT community and found her comments were inappropriate.
Kim Burrell radio show was pulled off the air after she defended her rant. Burrell is banned from many events because she brings too much controversy.
Looks like all their "whitesplaining" finally caught up with them. As of April, the retailer will shut down all of its locations. It will owned by as Canadian company Gildan Activewear.
All 110 stores will be gone. It will put 3,400 people out of their jobs.
It was "Made in America" and was considered "Sweatshop Free".
Dov Charney, the Canadian American businessman who created American Apparel warned the company that if you fire him, AA will fall. He was right. The company fired him out the cannon after he was accused of sexual harassment and misuse of funds.
This also brings the bad news to another company that tried to "whitesplain" fashion is out of the game as well. The Limited will close its 250 locations. The Limited is based out of Columbus and operates in the affluent suburb of New Albany.
So as President Barack Obama leaves the White House, his replacement will take over. Fuhrer Donald J. Trump will run a country of 325 million Americans. He will be the most divisive person to lead this country. And as he begins, retail stores begin to fall apart.
Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) will take the knee. He and the fuhrer are tangling with one another.
Many Democratic politicians are skipping the fuhrer's inaugural. Some are citing their frustrations with the fuhrer's decision to go after Rep. John Lewis (D-GA).
Lewis, a former civil rights activist was critical of fuhrer Donald J. Trump. He said that Trump isn't a legitimate president and it merited a response from the fuhrer on social media.
Trump took to social media to say that Lewis is all talk and no action.
Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to......
Lewis took a rock to the head. Lewis felt a dog's teeth through his crotch. Lewis was arrested for peaceful resistance in 1960s and most recently 2016.
While some questioned Lewis’s assertion, many others expressed indignation about Trump's outburst, pointing out the unseemliness of attacking a civil rights leader on the eve of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Lewis was one of the original Freedom Riders, beaten by police officers while marching from Selma to Montgomery in Alabama.
Omarosa and Darrell Scott attacks Black leaders.
Trump's feud with Lewis carried echoes of his attacks on Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the Pakistani-American parents of an American soldier killed in Iraq, after Khan spoke out against Trump at the Democratic National Convention. Those attacks were widely viewed to have backfired, and Trump later modulated his words about the Khans.
Trump himself has experience questioning a president's legitimacy. He was instrumental in sowing doubts about President Barack Obama's birthplace.
Lewis, who is 76 and was first elected to Congress in 1987, is one of the few genuinely historic figures on Capitol Hill, revered by Democrats and Republicans alike. Allies of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), and Trump's nominee for attorney general, circulated pictures of him linking arms with Lewis at the 50th anniversary of the Selma march to fend off accusations that Sessions was a racist.
Nevertheless, Lewis testified against Sessions, declaring, "We need someone as attorney general who's going to look out for all of us, and not just some of us."
It's unfortunate that for every bad cop, there will likely be a dead cop. The bad cops make it more dangerous for the good cops. When they are exonerated from criminal acts, that makes it harder for the law enforcement to get assistance from the public.
Lawrence Crosby is suing the city of Evanston, Illinois after he had a brutal encounter with the police. And it was started by a call by a concerned citizen who believed he was "up to no good."
He was doctoral student at Northwestern University. He was pulled over in 2015 after a woman called 911 saying he looked like he was stealing a car.
He is a law abiding PhD student. But to the caller and the five officers who roughed him up, he was a no good car thief.
"This is my vehicle, sir. I have evidence..... I purchased this vehicle on January 23, 2015, from Libertyville Chevrolet," said Crosby.
It wasn't enough for the officers. When he got out of his vehicle with his hands up, they flung him to ground, kicked him and ordered him not to move. They placed him in handcuffs and detained him.
The Evanston Police released the dash camera footage and it detailed the half-hour encounter.
Lawrence Crosby from his Linkedin profile.
In October, Crosby was heading to Northwestern University. He noticed something in his vehicle wasn't right. So he got a metal bar out of his vehicle trying to fix the strip on the roof.
A white woman saw him pass by. He was wearing a hoodie and he had a bar in hand. She called the law.
"He had a bar in his hand, and it looked like he was jimmying the door open," said the caller.
When Crosby drove off, the woman followed his vehicle and relayed the directions to the police.
Crosby was on the phone was on the phone and talking to someone about him being followed.
"It was a little bid dark. You know how it is with Black people ---- they think we're always trying to do something wrong," Crosby said.
He was heading to the police station. He felt that the was the only place available for his safety.
He thought wrong.
He was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct and failure to obey a police order. The case was thrown out. The officers who roughed up Crosby weren't placed in the freezer and they're back on the beat ready to buck an unarmed Black person.
The woman said, "I didn't mean to racial profile the guy."
Her name is Blake Murphy.
Blake Murphy, expect death threats. You're going to get them for trying to be a "hero". Your reactionary decision to follow a motorist because you suspect criminal activity was not only dangerous, but extremely stupid. You give the information to the law and let them handle it.
Progressives are plotting to infiltrate conservative organizations. Their first target in their sting operations is conservative troll Allison Maass.
The founder of Project Veritas James O'Keefe is plotting to infiltrate progressive groups who plan on protesting the fuhrer's inauguration. The conservative agitator who is a part of the White extremist movement called the alt-right has been influential in destroying the careers of innocent people.
He along with this troll named Allison Maass have recently tried to go after progressive organizations that are rallying their base during the next four years. The Undercurrent is a group that is working on trying to disrupt conservative groups attempts at trying to paint progressives as violent radicals.
Maass was trying to infiltrate Americans Take Action. She was trying to bribe a hefty sum to ATA.
She was telling ATA that a guy known as Mr. Simon was trying to pay them for inciting violence at the fuhrer's inaugural.
The counter-sting, carried out by The Undercurrent and Americans Take Action, a project of a previous target of provocateur O'Keefe, managed to surreptitiously record elements of O'Keefe's network offering huge sums of money to progressive activists if they would disrupt the ceremony and "put a stop to the inauguration" and the related proceedings to such a degree that donors to the clandestine effort would "turn on a TV and maybe not even see Trump." To have riots blot out coverage of Trump, the donor offered "unlimited resources," including to shut down bridges into D.C.
The Undercurrent, led by executive producer Lauren Windsor, is sponsored by American Family Voices, which was among a constellation of groups infiltrated by O’Keefe's Project Veritas during the presidential campaign, an effort to link Democrats with voter fraud.
Maass, who previously was caught attempting to infiltrate the Senate campaign of Russ Feingold in Wisconsin, as well as the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton. Maass was also a lead infiltrator during the voter fraud campaign.
Windsor, in investigating Project Veritas, discovered the name of a front group, Breakthrough Dev Group, that O'Keefe was using to set up stings. Somebody from BDG contacted an allied group, which reached out to activist Ryan Clayton. Windsor arranged to have the meeting secretly recorded.
Cleveland Police officers Frank Garmack and Tim Loehmann may have escaped a state and federal murder charge but they're not out of the woods yet. They have an internal investigation they are dealing with.
This could eventually have them fired out the cannon. They both have been in the freezer pending the outcome of the federal civil rights investigation. In November 2014, the two approached Tamir Rice at a park. They responded to a call of a young male with a firearm. Loehmann within a few seconds of contact shot and killed Tamir as he exited the cruiser.
William Cunningham was also named in this investigation as well and he could be fired out the cannon.
They have hearings at the end of the month, according to local media.
Loehmann faces six charges for falsifying previous employment history on his application for the Cleveland Police Department. Loehmann did not disclose that he “was allowed to resign” from his prior job at the Independence, Ohio, Police Department, local media reported.
He may have also failed to mention he had been insubordinate and dishonest to a superior, and that the department had concluded that he had, “an inability to emotionally function.”
Garmback, who drove Loehmann to the scene, faces two charges stemming from allegations that he drove too close to Rice while responding and did not let the dispatcher know when he arrived. The third officer, Cunningham, is alleged to have been off-duty and working an unpermitted second job at the Cudell Recreation Center at the time of the shooting, and is accused of completing and signing a false report.
If found guilty, they can be suspended without pay or their jobs could be terminated.
The Cleveland Police Association President Stephen Loomis issued a statement defending the officers.
“There is no question, and there has never been, that the death of Tamir Rice was tragic,” Loomis said in the statement. “Nevertheless, all agree that Officer Loehmann was not wrong in reacting the way he did.”
He added that it was disappointing that Garmback was being charged for driving too close to Rice, “when it is apparent that the car slid in the ice and mud well beyond what he had intended.”
Loehmann and Garmback, who are white, had responded to a report of a “guy with a pistol” at the Cudell Recreation Center on Nov. 22, 2014, where Rice, who was black, had been playing. While the person who called police had mentioned the gun was “probably fake,” that description was not mentioned to the responding officers, according to local media.
More than a year after a grand jury declined to criminally charge Cleveland police officers for the fatal shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice, who was carrying a toy gun at the time, the police chief announced Friday that they are facing internal disciplinary charges.
Loehmann, who shot Rice, faces six charges for falsifying previous employment history on his application for the Cleveland Police Department. Loehmann did not disclose that he “was allowed to resign” from his prior job at the Independence, Ohio, Police Department, local media reported.

While the person who called police had mentioned the gun was “probably fake,” that description was not mentioned to the responding officers, according to local media.
Within a second of exiting the car, Loehmann shot Rice, who at that point had an airsoft pellet gun in his waistband. The shooting triggered a national uproar, resurfacing a history of black boys and men dying at the hands of police and spurring several investigations.
The next month, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder released an unrelated report that Cleveland police had consistently exhibited unnecessary and excessive use of force – even in cases where police were simply called for a mental health check.
“Accountability and legitimacy are essential for communities to trust their police departments,” Holder said in a statement at the time, “and for there to be genuine collaboration between police and the citizens they serve.”
Details of Loehmann’s previous employment history also emerged in local media outlets.
Corrupt cop Frank Garmback tried to cover for Loehmann.
One year later, a Cuyahoga County grand jury decided that Loehmann and Garmback should not be charged, a decision that the county prosecutor upheld.
Since then, an internal police committee has spent a year focusing on the two officers, which led to the charges police announced on Friday.
The Justice Department is also reviewing the case to see whether they violated any federal civil rights laws.
Rice’s mother told the Associated Press after the announcement on Friday that she was upset that Loehmann is avoiding charges for a second time for his use of force, and that both officers should be fired.
“I think this process has taken entirely too long,” Samaria Rice said.
They are innocent until proven guilty by a grand jury.
Whine with Tomi. This blonde beeyotch is becoming more mainstream by Black entertainers Trevor Noah and Charlamagne Tha God.
Since The Daily Show host Trevor Noah's interview with conservative troll (alt-right darling) Tomi Lahren, many people are seeing her as a potential threat to journalism and social integrity.
To go so blind with accusations against people she barely knows is one thing. To reward her with book deals and a television show spewing racially charged rhetoric is another.
Lahren is about to leave The Blaze network soon. She is gunning for bigger opportunities now that her man-crush fuhrer Donald J. Trump won the election. She, Matt Drudge, Ann Coulter, Alex Jones, Michael Savage, and Sean "Softball" Hannity are doing a gloating tour. Her most famous outburst was the nasty comparison of Black Lives Matter to the Klan. She believes that the BLM's protesters are similar to the Klan.
She also took aim at Beyonce, Jay-Z, Colin Kaepernick, Jesse Williams and others.
Lahren is a "Hop-Hop Republican" as she describes herself.
Her most recent feud is involving Wale, a Washington, DC, rapper who is closely associated with Miami rapper Rick Ross.
Wale was addressing Lahren by song by calling her "Tammy" instead of her actual name. He was trying to subliminally call her out for her negative compassions of Black leaders by saying her name wrong.
The alt-rights hate us
Some back baby mommas hate us
We only learn half of the drama, other side crazy
On behalf of Charlemagne I'm sure he ain't trading sides
Maybe I should meet Tammy Lahren, I'll Lauryn Hill her
Trainor, she miseducated anyway
Prolly hate the color of my face
Lahren took the bait and she's been feuding with Wale ever since.
So if you're gonna put someone in a song...diss 'em.. perhaps get their fricken name right next time @Wale
Now Raw Story and many other outlets are digging into her past. Her past was full of teenage joy and first year college scenarios. She was then a raging liberal before she became a darling of the white extremist movement.
Syracuse University student Matt Gehring uncovered a series of videos from Lahren's University of Nevada-Las Vegas days, where she hosted a political roundtable show on UNLV-TV called "The Scramble."
In the 2014 videos, Lahren (whose signature shout-at-the-camera approach is noticeably absent) can be seen acknowledging the scientific consensus that climate change is real, and advocating for lawmakers to address the “multi-dimensional issue” of gun violence.
"Despite this cold snap, scientists have reached a consensus: climate change is occurring," Lahren said in one video. "What are we going to do about it is the controversial question we will address here today."
In 2017, Tomi calls everyone snowflakes and fragile. But in 2014, Tomi hosted this civil discussion about slurs and their place in society. pic.twitter.com/ed31Be9e5k
Tomi won't mention the words "gun control" without blaming Islam. But she calls it a multi-dimensional issue here, with no mention of Islam. pic.twitter.com/evDEUVbdPc
As Gehring points out, while Lahren today "won't mention the words 'gun control' without blaming Islam," in college she managed to get through an entire segment on the nuances of gun violence without mentioning the religion.
"We need to understand that it's a multi-dimensional issue,"she said in 2014. "So anytime you have a rampage or school shooting, it's not caused by one thing. It's not cause by the gun, it's not caused by the violent media or video games, it's not caused by mental health—anything entirely. It's a multi-dimensional issue so it needs to be addressed from all angles."
So far, the troll responded to videos with the words,"So!"
Lahren doesn't apologize for her past. All she cares about is basically getting attention and spewing her rants.
You notice fuhrer Donald Trump doesn't wear a flag lapel. He meets with Steve Harvey.
Who says I can't be bitter about the results?
Who says I should get over it? I refuse to and I won't. I will not rationalize White extremism.
I don't have to mince words when I say, fuck Donald Trump.
I don't have to respect him. He didn't respect Barack Obama. So the feeling is mutual and longstanding. He is not a president. He is an immature 70 year old man. He is a controversial billionaire. reality television star, business mogul, pussy grabber, xenophobe, Islamophobic, sexist, narcissistic jackass.
See in the world of White supremacy, the only good Black people ain't called NIGGERS.
Conservatives often look at Black leaders as the "grievance" industry.
They don't value our lives. The only lives they value is the self-righteousness and finger wagging.
People are pissed that Steve Harvey, Jennifer Holliday, 3 Doors Down, Flo Rida, and Kanye West are engaging with the fuhrer. Anyone who supports Trump is just as bad as he is. I don't care who they are.
Steve Harvey having a sit down with President Barack Obama.
And they are rightfully being taken to the woodshed for doing so.
Harvey, who went to the second White House to talk to Trump over housing issues.
The nominee for the Department of Housing and Urban Development is failed presidential candidate Ben Carson. He is going through a testimony for the confirmation.
Harvey who is the man of all things, may have some backlash over this. Matter of fact, he might not be on good terms with D.L. Hughley, his fellow "Kings of Comedy" co-star.
When the white extremist say "inner cities" is code for BLACK. They believe that Blacks are living in fatherless societies. They believe we're the cause of economic turmoil. They believe that entertainers are elitists (if they're not in support of the fuhrer).
Harvey said that he's not attending the inauguration of the fuhrer. He said his wife won't let him.
Now before we go on a Steve Harvey, Jennifer Holliday and Flo Rida bashing tour, we want you to know that they have performed for President Barack Obama as well.
Harvey did remark about how Trump's rhetoric totally changed politics forever.
Harvey who currently hosts Miss Universe may be getting some tips on hosting duties from the fuhrer. Harvey also hosts Family Feud, Showtime at the Apollo, his morning radio show, his daytime television show and Little Big Shots.
James Comey refused to pursue allegations of Russian meddling in election.
The government agency overseeing the U.S. Justice Department is looking into the actions of James Comey, the FBI director. The Inspector General is concerned that Comey's last minute decision to look into perennial failure Hillary Clinton's emails doomed her in the final weeks of the presidential election.
The decision to reopen the case became the talk of the nation and also led to fuhrer Donald J. Trump winning the election.
Of course, he refused to go after Trump's connections to Russia. He basically blew all that off for some goddamn emails.
Michael Horowitz will not look into the decision not to prosecute Clinton and her aides. Instead he will review the actions of Comey took that Clinton and many of her supporters believe cost her the election.
The news presser in July which he called the actions of Clinton, "extremely careless". The latter to Congressional Republicans in October. Then the decision to close the investigation in November.
Democrats are seething with anger over this. Comey was also briefed on the Russian hacks and chose not to pursue the allegations of them meddling in the election.
Trump during his campaign wanted Comey fired out the cannon for not pursuing charges against Clinton. Trump said that the system was "rigged" and the FBI was politicized by him. He said if he won, he would continue dogging Clinton. So far, that's not going to happen. Even the Benghazi Committee finally closed.
Now that he will be the fuhrer, he might keep Comey on to do political witch hunts against the Democrats, Rosie O'Donnell, Meryl Streep, Megyn Kelly, CNN, the women who accused him of inappropriate behavior, his ex-wives, and his likely mistresses.
Clinton and former president Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter without Roselyn and the Obamas will be there to see their mortal enemy sworn in.
Vice fuhrer Mike Pence will be sworn in by Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. Trump will be sworn by Chief Justice John Roberts.
Unrepentant motorist gets LIFE for her callous attack on innocent parade watchers.
Adacia Chambers, the woman who ran her vehicle through a crowd of people in Stillwater, Oklahoma found justice. She was given a LIFE sentence in the iron college after the jury convicted her of murdering four people on her mission.
According to the law, she was under the influence when she decided to plow through the homecoming parade for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Chambers was sentenced after pleading no contest to four counts of second-degree murder and 39 counts of assault and battery.
She was fired out the cannon at Freddy's Custard and Steakburgers for being on drugs. She got angry and decided to end her life by taking out others.
Nash Lucas, a toddler, Nakita Prabhakar, a 23 year old MBA student at Oklahoma State and a married couple Bonnie and Marvin Stone, both 65 lost their lives to this unrepentant terrorist.
Her defense for this act of terrorism was mental issues. The jury said she showed intent.
Prosecutors says Chambers steered her car around a police barricade and sped up before plowing into spectators.
Chambers will now have a chance to appeal the decision. Unfortunately, the LIFE sentence does carry a chance a parole. After serving at least 30 years in the iron college, she may have an out.
First time ever, a Black women will appear on a coin.
The U.S. Mint rolls out a new coin. The new $1.00 coin for the first time will feature a Black woman.
The mint will celebrate 225 years by minting this county with Lady Liberty depicted as a Black woman. The 24k gold coin will be the first of a series of coins that will also carry depictions of Asian-American, Hispanic-American, and Indian-American women, says the U.S. Mint.
The last gold coin was Sacagawea, the Native American woman who helped Meriwether Lewis and William Clark through the rugged United States. The last dollar coin was Susan B. Anthony, an American activist who fought for voting rights for women.
Then of course, our past presidents were on the dollar coins as well. The current living presidents and soon to be fuhrer won't be added on coins until death.
