Meek Mill Saves Juelz Santana From A Life In Federal!

The rapper/activist has been very active in pushing prison reform. He was a product of the system.

Complex had reported that Meek (born Robert R. Williams) contacted Santana's wife, Kimbella Vanderee, with a lawyer who helped them navigate the court process. Meek understands that agreeing to the wrong plea deal could ruin one's future, so he wanted to ensure that Santana wasn't going to be placed in a compromising position.

Santana (born LaRon Louis James) is free. The Dipset rapper told TMZ that he plans to take a page out of Meek's book by working with organizations that seek to overturn sentences of people wrongly convicted of crimes. He is going to use his new found freedom to help current and former interns of the iron college. He said that he will recruit interns who are inspiring in art, music and film.

Juelz was out of the federal time out after serving 19 months of a 27-month bid for bring a firearm into an airport and having a few ounces of weed on him. Santana was freed on in-house which means he will be subjected to drug tests every 15 days.

He will be able to head home instead of being in a halfway house. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many non-violent offenders will be offered an opportunity to serve out their bids at their homes with restrictions.





He was out on Wednesday and thanked his fans and supporters.

He was at the Petersburg FCI in Hopewell, Virginia. The medium security federal facility had 500 people tested positive for the coronavirus.

Kimbella tells the world that her man is home.

"Juelz was supposed to get released last Tuesday but some shit happened," she said in a video on his official social media. "But we're outside of the prison now and he's gonna be released any minute. And I'll leave it all up to him when he gets out. Stay tuned!"

The 38-year old rapper who is best known for his time with The Diplomats (aka DipSet). The founding members Cam'Ron (Camron Giles), Freaky Zeeky (Ezekiel Giles), Jim Jones (Joseph G. Jones II) and Juelz Santana (LaRon James).
