YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!
A woman spotted a black bear with something unique on its tracking collar. They saw the bear had a Trump 2020 Make America Great sticker on its collar.
Sheila Chapman spotted the bear wondering on her front porch. She said that bears often stroll around the neighborhood. She noticed that sticker on the back of the collar. She took a picture of it and shared it on social media.
Then she sent the pictures to the Help Asheville Bears (HAB) organization. They offered a $5,000 reward for information on whoever put the sticker on the collar.
On August 4, HAB announced they found the person responsible for the incident. The person had apologized for their actions and promise to have no contact with any bears in the future.
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission said that the person who placed the sticker on the bear will not face any criminal charges. But they did warn that any attempts of harming the bears or intentionally taunting them will result in criminal prosecution.

White people often like to engage with wildlife.
I've talked about it in previous postings. Folks who want to mess with wildlife, stray dogs and cats often face serious injury from them. Better get life insurance if you want to mess with animals.
Bears often seek food in urban centers. The best way to stop a bear from destroying property is to make sure your trash cans are completely covered. Do not leave pet food outdoors. Do not leave any food in your vehicle if you live in areas where bears are known. Properly dispose of grease and food. Do not mess with a bear when it's with the cubs. Do not run from a bear. If you are cornered by a bear make yourself appear threatening and loud. Carry pepper spray or bear mace.
