The Cincinnati-Dayton Metroplex!

Cincinnati and Dayton may merge communities and form a metroplex. This is Interstate 71/75 through Covington, Kentucky. Coming down the "Cut In the Hill" you see the skyline of Cincinnati.

With the rise in population around Butler, Warren and Greene Counties, the Dayton metro area will eventually be a "suburb" of Cincinnati.

Cincinnati, the city that sits on the banks of the Ohio River, population 287,000 is the hub of Southwestern Ohio. Dayton, the city that sits in west central Ohio, population 137,000 is the hub of the Miami Valley.

Both cities are control access cities with Interstate 70 and Interstate 75 being the nation's most frequently traveled highways. Interstate 71 and Interstate 74 both serve regional hubs such as Indianapolis, Louisville, Columbus and Cleveland.

Cincinnati is a global leader in innovation and manufacturing. Dayton while struggling to survive is the hub of health care, military research and aviation history.

Wright Patterson Air Force base is the nation's most active military installation.

Cincinnati's metro area includes Southwestern Ohio, Southeastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky.

Dayton's metro area includes Troy, Xenia, and Eaton. Dayton suffered a setback. Springfield, Ohio and Richmond, Indiana are no longer part of the Dayton MSA.

Springfield's micropolitan area includes Yellow Springs, Urbana and New Carlisle.

The talk around town is Dayton and Cincinnati may eventually form a metroplex.

Interstate 75 traveling through Dayton Ohio.
The Mill Creek Expressway project is an ongoing issue. Interstate 75 travels through Cincinnati and heads northward towards Dayton. The  Mill Creek Expressway project will create a full access interchange at Hopple Street, an easier access to Interstate 74/US 52, elimination of left hand exits at Harrison Avenue, and improve access to Mitchell Avenue and The Norwood Lateral (SR 562).

The highway is going through some major improvements between the two cities and through Northwestern Ohio and Toledo.

Interstate 71 is also in the works. The Ohio Department of Transportation is trying to make a full interchange exit to serve the University of Cincinnati. The exit ramp for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive is underway. The exit will eliminate the Taft Road exit and make it easier to access UC, the Zoo and Xavier University.

The highway is being worked on through Warren County through Jeremiah Morrow Bridge and into Columbus, Ohio.

With that said, the Cincinnati and Dayton leaders are seeking solutions to ease up constant traffic congestion. The talk of a full service toll road and 3-digit highway comes into play.

Also there's focus on areas north of Cincinnati and south of Dayton.

Dayton is about 85% complete on its revitalization project. The project calls for the elimination of the left handed exits that used to serve downtown. It will be one single wide lane exit that serves to segments of Dayton's central business district.

The region grew with the addition of Austin Landing, The Premium Outlets of Cincinnati, Miami Valley Gaming, and the future Liberty Center shopping center.

Some areas are being worked on and the communities that the Interstate serves will be affected.

The Dayton Daily News notes that a key criteria for merging two metropolitan areas is if 25 percent of residents living in central counties of one metro — such as Greene, Miami and Montgomery counties of the Dayton area — commute to work in central counties of a neighboring metro — such as Butler, Warren, Clermont or Hamilton counties, or parts of Northern Kentucky, as part of the larger Cincinnati MSA — according to U.S. Office of Budget and Management standards. The counties must also be contiguous.

While the U.S. Census Bureau tracks population patterns, it’s up to the federal Budget and Management department to make the call on a metro merger, research by this newspaper found. The federal budget office did not respond to interview or information requests by deadline.

“When we work with employers considering coming to the region, they don’t consider geographical boundaries,” said Adam Jones, administrator of the Workforce Investment Board of Butler, Clermont and Warren Counties, a workforce development agency.

Metroplex, macro region or mega region — all ways to describe the growing Interstate-75 corridor — aren't formal government terms.

Rather, government officials will consider population patterns and common economic development and social relationships for changing the borders of a metropolitan area, according to information provided by the Census Bureau.

“It highlights and confirms … we ought to be doing what we’re doing today and work together,” said Cincinnati Vice Mayor David Mann, as a panelist at last Thursday’s Think Regional conference.

Think Regional brought together business, government and nonprofit leaders from throughout Cincinnati and Dayton at an all-day event held April 16 in West Chester Twp. to promote regional collaboration.
The Cincinnati MSA and Dayton MSA.
“We don’t really have a choice if we want to compete as a region,” said Mann, referring to the need for the urban cores and surrounding communities to work together.

The city of Dayton thinks about Cincinnati every day, but Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley would be happy if Cincinnati thought of Dayton at least twice a week, she joked as a speaker Thursday on the same panel with Mann.

“I have a real interest in Cincinnati thinking north,” Whaley said. “In describing where Dayton is… we are an hour north of Cincinnati.”

“When we’re selling Dayton, we’re selling Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio,” Whaley said.

As of the most recent rankings of America’s largest metropolitans, the Cincinnati Tristate falls 28th on the list with a population of 2,149,449, according to the Census Bureau. Those estimates are as of July 1, 2014. The Dayton area ranks 71st on the list with a population of 800,836.

A combined Cincinnati-Dayton metropolitan with 2,950,285 people would rank the region as the 18th largest in the U.S. behind San Diego-Carlsbad, Calif., and ahead of Tampa-St.Petersburg-Clearwater, Fla.

A government designation of the area as one instead of two separate metropolitans would make a big difference in marketing the area to outside businesses, said Johnna Reeder, president and chief executive officer of REDI Cincinnati, the nonprofit economic development agency in charge of attracting businesses to Greater Cincinnati.

“The positives are when you’re bigger, you’re seen as having more assets and that’s a good thing when you’re trying to compete on big projects,” Reeder said.

Continued growth and trade along the corridor between Cincinnati and Dayton will drive the need for more talks between Cincinnati- and Dayton-area leaders, said Phil Parker, president and chief executive officer of Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.

“You start to see more people and more businesses living along that corridor, it starts to add up to the point when there will be a time when people say we need to meet with and speak with our counterparts along that corridor to see what we can do to come up with the advantages… of that one large metropolis,” Parker said.

“I think the jury’s still out on it because one of the things people don’t want to happen is they certainly don’t want Dayton to be the red-headed step child of an area when right now we have our own governmental bodies, zip codes, etc.,” he said.

I'll Have Mine On WHITE Bread!

Image via GoFundMe/Jim Boggess

There was a deli shop owner in America that wanted to show his pride. He introduced the White History Month for a promotional stunt. This stunt got him some attention.

Yeah, he's blaming the junk food media and those pesky activists.

The town of Flemington is embarrassed by this deli.

Jim Boggess of Jimbo's Deli has some negative publicity. This latest stunt managed to set the public ablaze. He posted on his business "Celebrate Your White Heritage in March. This is White History Month."

“[T]he bottom dropped out and customers were no longer coming into my deli, and now I am forced to close down my Deli and lose my American dream,” he wrote. “I have become heavily in debt and getting shut off notices from everywhere for both business and home. I don’t think I deserve this just because I wanted to be proud of being white and be able to celebrate my heritage like everyone else does.”
Wonder if he'll make my sandwich on Rye with lots of Black Forest ham.
Critics immediately pounced, questioning whether the sign was really to blame, prompting Boggess to post an update.

“Yes, you guys are right, the store wasn’t doing good before the sign was posted,” he wrote. “But it was doing good enough to keep the store open.”

He said after the sign was posted, business dried up.

The deli has mostly terrible reviews on Yelp.

His business shut down for the time being.

He wanted to start a GoFundMe page to gain success. But it only netted less than $300 in donations.

He wanted to do what Memories Pizza done when its owners stated they weren't going to serve customers they perceive as gay.

During the Indiana fiasco, a pizza shop outside of South Bend got media attention after they said they won't cater to gay couples. The pizza shop got death threats and the conservative agitators asked for their fans to support the pizza shop. The pizza shop netted over $100,000 in donations.

Ben Affleck: I Am Shocked! My Decedents Owned Slaves!

Ben Affleck reportedly wanted PBS to scrub his ancestor's ugly past.

As Warner Brothers release the trailer for the new Batman and Superman movie, many people are criticizing the picking of actor Ben Affleck as Batman.

Affleck was then Marvel's Daredevil and the movie was a colossal flop.

Now he emerges as Batman. Some claim the Dark Knight could damaged by Affleck.

He and then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez done the worst movie ever to exist. It's called Gigli

Now he's trying to bury his ancestors in the dirt, literally.

On the PBS program, Find Your Roots, hosted by Henry "Skip" Gates, there was a segment  "Roots of Freedom," which discusses his Freedom Rider mother, a Revolutionary War ancestor and his third great-grandfather. But according to a hacked Sony email posted by WikiLeaks on Thursday, Affleck reportedly asked PBS to edit out information about an ancestor who owned slaves.

In the email, "Finding Your Roots" host Henry Louis Gates Jr. emailed Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton for advice regarding the request, the New York Daily News reported. In the email dated July 22, 2014, Gates wrote, "For the first time, one of our guests has asked us to edit out something about one of his ancestors -- the fact that he owned slaves."

The Huffington Post reports Lynton replied, telling Gates to take it out if no one knew the material was already in the documentary. "I would take it out if no one knows," Lynton wrote, "but if it gets out that you are editing the material based on this kind of sensitivity then it gets tricky. Again, all things being equal I would definitely take it out."

Gates responded saying that removing the information would be "a violation of PBS rules, actually, even for Batman." The host later added that Affleck's ancestor "wasn't even a bad guy," noting that four or five of the other guests from the show that season, including Anderson Cooper, were descendants of slave owners.

Both Gates and PBS released statements on the network's website Friday regarding the hacked emails and the episode.

"Ultimately, I maintain editorial control on all of my projects and, with my producers, decide what will make for the most compelling program," Gates said. "In the case of Mr. Affleck -- we focused on what we felt were the most interesting aspects of his ancestry." The network expressed its support for Gates and his producers' "independent editorial judgment to choose the most compelling narrative."

In a statement to The Huffington Post, a representative for Sony criticized WikiLeaks for the “indexing of stolen employee and other private and privileged information.”

“We vehemently disagree with WikiLeaks’ assertion that this material belongs in the public domain and will continue to fight for the safety, security, and privacy of our company and its more than 6,000 employees," the statement read.

The Clowns Juggle Their Balls In New Hampshire!

The clown car is getting awfully full.

A herd of Anti-Obama/Oppose Clinton candidates traveled inside that tiny car. They head directly to New Hampshire in their attempt to show the local Republicans how they can juggle their balls.

The current clowns running include The Stallmigos.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

These three unaccomplished lawmakers were the first to announce their run.
Nashua. This is the Nashua River Dam.
Accompanying the three clowns are the first timers. They may announce their intentions soon.

New Jersey governor Chris Christie
Wisconsin governor Scott Walker
Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal
Ohio governor John Kasich
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
George Pataki, former governor of New York
Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida
Bob Ehrlich, former governor of Maryland
Ben Carson, writer and former neurosurgeon
Donald Trump, real estate mogul, celebrity agitator and game show host

And the perennial candidates who ride in the trunk of the car. They may announce their intention to run as well.

Jim Gilmore, perennial candidate and former governor of Virginia
Carly Fiorina, perennial candidate and former Hewitt Packard executive
Rick Perry, perennial candidate and former governor of Texas
Rick Santorum, perennial candidate and former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania
Mike Huckbee, perennial candidate, former Arkansas governor and conservative agitator
Jack Fellure, perennial candidate for office

As expected the field for the nomination has the Republicans more excited. But seriously, the field is weak. The candidates from 2008 and 2012 were weak. I mean the field was a total embarrassment.
Manchester, New Hampshire
I can say the most serious ones as expected are Walker, Bush, Kasich and Christie. But Paul is a popular figure among the young Republicans.

The candidates who are minorities. Although there are two Hispanic men, one Black man, one Asian American man and one woman in the fold, they're regarded as White people in my opinion.

Cruz and Rubio are Hispanic. They both have family members who grew up in Cuba. They and "honorary" Hispanic Jeb Bush can speak fluent Spanish.

Carson is the only Black candidate to announce that he may put on the makeup.

Fiorina is the only woman who announced that she may put on the makeup.

Piyush "Bobby" Jindal is the only Asian American (South Indian decent) to announce he's putting on the makeup.

Rafel Edward Cruz (aka Ted) is the only candidate born in Canada. He was born to an American mother and Cuban father. He will face an onslaught of birther nonsense by his Republican critics.

Each of these candidates are going to bark Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama.

With Obama fatigue and lack of interest in all the candidates, it's likely a Republican could win this election. All the candidates lack the appeal to win over voters.

Because being the president doesn't mean you're going to get your way. Congress is currently controlled by Republicans. During the last two years of George W. Bush's presidency, he had Democrats control it. And in the last two years of Barack Obama, Republicans took back control of Congress.

Bush and Obama had rough second terms.

They are ignored by the junk food media and the media is chasing the next shinny coin.

If a Republican wins the White House, expect the Democrats to oppose everything the president proposes. Expect more gridlock and liberal agitators to be as nasty as the conservative agitators were to Obama.

I bet you money the moment one Republican secures enough votes to win the White House, the first liberal agitator will slam the president-elect and hope for failure. They'll say well if that old fart (Rush Limbaugh) hopes Obama fails, then its fair game.

Johnny Kemp Passed Away!

Johnny Kemp was a part of the New Jack Swing era.

Remember it's Friday night, and you just got paid. Well the hit single came from R&B singer Johnny Kemp. Tonight the Associated Press announced he had passed away in Jamaica.

He was big in the 1990s but that was the only hit that managed to top the charts.

He was born in the Bahamas. He began his singing career at 13. He performed at nightclubs and when he decided to venture to the United States he settled in New York.

He released the album Secrets of Flying which contained "Just Got Paid" and "Dancin' With Myself".

He was a scheduled performer for the Tom Joyner Soul Cruise. He was found in Montego Bay in a watery pit.

He leaves behind a wife and two sons.

Kemp is a veteran of the new jack swing era. The New Jack Swing is a mixture of hip-hop fused with R&B. The genre produced a smack dab of hits. Kemp was a part of the music.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Johnny Kemp.

Young Thug: Thugger F. Stunna Conquers Weezy F. Baby!

The feud between Lil' Wayne and Birdman drags Young Thug into it.

Atlanta rapper Young Thug is feuding with Lil' Wayne. The rapper was brought into this feud because of Weezy's frustration with his former mentor Birdman.

Also the rapper used Tha Carter for his album title.  It comes at a time when Weezy F. Baby is fighting Cash Money Records over the scrapping of Tha Carter V.

Young Thug releases his mixtape/album Barter 6 (formerly The Carter 6). The album features Birdman, T.I., Boosie Badazz and Young Dolph. The album was marred with controversy because many of the fans feel that it was"disrespect" to Lil' Wayne.

Thugger was going to be sued by Lil' Wayne's lawyers for copyright infringement.
Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan released Rich Gang Tha Tour Pt. 1 & 2 on DatPiff.com
The album was initially reported to be entitled Carter 6, a continuation of Lil Wayne's successful Tha Carter album series which had also been released by Cash Money Records.

This created controversy, as Wayne's scheduled album Tha Carter V had been repeatedly delayed amid a dispute between himself and Cash Money, who had reportedly refused to release the album.

Wayne subsequently became involved in legal proceedings against Cash Money and publicly criticized the label's owner (and Thug's mentor) Birdman, as well as responding negatively to Thug's decision to name the album after him.

Despite this, Thug claimed that he was not trying to be disrespectful, and that Wayne was his 'idol'.

Following a threat of legal action, Thug announced days prior to the release that the album was to be renamed it Barter 6, in line with the typical Blood gang practice of replacing the letter "C" with "B".

Lil' Wayne also aimed at the rapper for going full birthday suit. The album cover has Thug in the semi nude.

A week ago, Weezy told his Mississippi fans, "Y’all let him know I said, 'Fuck ‘em,'"

Of course, Thugger fired a shot at Wayne. And to make it even interesting he fired shots at rhyming partner Rich Homie Quan after allegations of the rapper having a fling with Thugger's woman.

"Pussy boy I'll leave you dead and call it Dedication," Thugger raps.  While he's insisted many times that he once idolizes Lil' Wayne, some could interpret that line as a diss towards his idol, given that Wayne released a Dedication series of mixtapes.

T.I. is also on "Can't Tell." Yesterday (April 15), T.I. took the Atlanta, Georgia rapper's words as sincere when he addressed the purported rivalry he was having with Lil Wayne.  "'Everybody's making it a whole lot more,'" T.I. said Young Thug told him. "'I'm doing it to pay homage. That's my favorite rapper.'"

HipHopDx.com reports that Barter 6 has been heavily publicized due in part to the emcee's statements. The rapper called his "Mamacita" collaborators — as well as his new boss, Birdman — his "lovers." Then there is his referring to Rich Homie Quan as "Bitch Homie Quan," as well as his Jay Z diss in a GQ interview.

The rise of Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan got the O.G.s of hip-hop worried.

You wondering why Wayne aimed at Thug and Quan?
The infamous kiss. Birdman plants on on Lil' Wayne and former Cash Money rapper Gillie Da Kid made it public.
Lil' Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being 2 went Gold. Tha Carter IV was 2x Platinum. DatPiff has charted millions of downloads for almost every official mixtape Wayne puts out.

Weezy is doing just fine. But the feud with his longtime label is newsworthy. Wayne is the last original member of the label. He, Juvie (aka Juvenile), The B.G., Young Turk were the Hot Boys.

Birdman and then in house producer Mannie Fresh were The Big Tymers.

Cash Money Records came to fame in the late 1990s with hit singles Back That Azz Up, Bling Bling, I Need A Hot Girl and #1 Stunna.

Young Thug was once affiliated with Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad Records.

He is managed by Rich Gang Music, Birdman's upstart music label.

NYPD Use Thee Rant To Vent About Them __________!

Some of the New York Police Department finest are posting racial slurs online.

Embattled New York City mayor Bill de Blaiso has enough problems dealing with the New York Police Department. The patrolman union president Patrick Lynch has encouraged some officers to turn their backs on him.

Now the NYPD has more scandal. It comes in the cop blog Thee Rant.

This was created by a former cop and it allows cops to post about what's going on in New York.

But unfortunately, it's nothing nice what they say about the 8.3 million people they are to protect.

According to ProPublica, the blog has some postings that refer Blacks as "APES" and "NIGGERS."

The issue of the blog, started by former NYPD officer Ed Polstein in 1999, has gained notoriety most recently after a white South Carolina police officer shot a black man to death. Shortly after a video of the officer appearing to shoot the fleeing man in the back went viral on the Internet, Thee Rant blew up with comments.

“Cop looked good in his stance,” read one post.

Polstein, who did not respond to requests for an interview, has said previously that anyone wishing to post on the blog has to provide proof that they are a current or former member of the NYPD. But whether they are, and how many have signed up, are among the many mysteries surrounding Thee Rant. The blog says it garners 120,000 page views daily.

Leonard Levitt, a respected former Newsday reporter who runs the website NYPD Confidential, said he has stopped assigning much significance to Thee Rant.

“To be honest, I don’t read it,” Levitt said. “I’d say these guys represent the worst elements of the department. I don’t think they speak for the average cop. I have a feeling it’s four or five guys doing most of the yowling.”

Incidents of officers being investigated or punished for their behavior online, in social media or on personal cell phones, have cropped up in Illinois, Missouri and Florida in recent weeks and months.

In a St. Louis suburb, for instance, an officer was fired after posting racist remarks about the protests in Ferguson. In San Francisco, eight officers were fired for exchanging racist and homophobic text messages.

Relations between the police and minorities have been fraught in New York for decades. The assault on Abner Louima and the killing of Amadou Diallo during Rudy Giuliani’s administration sparked a rise in tension. The aggressive stop-and-frisk tactics during Michael Bloomberg’s mayoralty deepened the mistrust and anger. And the choking death of Eric Garner on Staten Island last year provoked protests and slogans.

William Bratton, Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s police commissioner, has acknowledged the poor relations and vowed to improve them.

The existence of Thee Rant, and the occasional, perhaps outsize attention it gets, has not made Bratton’s efforts easier.

The existence of Thee Rant, and the occasional, perhaps outsize attention it gets, has not made Bratton’s efforts easier.

Garner’s death prompted some of the more extensive back and forth on the blog. Garner was killed when an officer sought to subdue him during a stop for illegally selling loose cigarettes. Bratton initially said it appeared the officer had used an improper chokehold. But a grand jury on Staten Island declined to indict the officer.

On Thee Rant, support for the officer was substantial. And occasionally ugly.

“A more accurate headline would be "Non Compliant Fat Bastard Gets Just Due In Resisting Law Enforcement Officers,” read a post in reaction to headlines in the city’s papers.

“Yes, they’ll pay off the 'family,'” started another. “It’s a lot cheaper than a riot…And therein lies the problem...The cities of America are held hostage by the strong-arm tactics of the savages.”
You tell me who the real savages are?
Davis, the NYPD spokesman, said department policy is that officers should not be on social media, as well as blogs, except for official business. The department has shown it is willing to act against problem officers when it can. In 2012, New York City police officers were disciplined over racist and violent comments made on Facebook, many of which targeted the annual Labor Day West Indian Parade, describing the event as a “scheduled riot” and comparing it to working at a zoo.

“We don’t know how many active police officers are on it,” Davis said of Thee Rant. “If we did identify active officers speaking on the site in that capacity they would be disciplined for violating policy.”

de Blasio is a target of conservatives because of his stance on issues. In the aftermath of the Eric Garner decision, de Blasio made note that Blacks have distrust towards police. He related to the situation because his son is biracial. The right and junk food media went after that comment and it pissed off that jackass Patrick Lynch.

Lynch used this a platform to attack the mayor after two NYPD officers were killed by an extremist.

Will the mayor be attacked by the racist right after this revelation of scandal?

Meek And Nicki Sitting In A Tree.....

Philly rapper Meek Mill is dating Nicki Minaj. He put a ring on it. They're engaged.

Nicki Minaj is engaged.

But who's the lucky guy who wooed her?

It's a Philly rapper who just got released from the iron college.

He is a hype man for Miami rapper Rick Ross.

On DatPiff.com his mixtape Dream Chasers 1 and 2 managed to secure over 2 million downloads.

He has three hits such as "Tupac's Back", "House Party", and "Amen"

He's a member of the Maybach Music Group. He has his own label called Dream Chasers Records.

And to make this clear, he's put a big ring on it.

Meek Mill, 27  (aka Robert Rahmeek Williams) has pop the question to the rapper/singer/model this week.

Nicki Minaj, 32  (aka Onika Maraj) is a member of Cash Money and Young Money. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago, raised in New York City. She is worth an estimated $50 million in record sales. Her album Pink Friday 3: The Pinkprint is charting GOLD but will eventually hit the PLATINUM status soon.

She also has put distance between her crew. Lil' Wayne is feuding with Birdman. Tyga is feuding with Drake.

Nicki basically stated that Weezy F. Baby is her best friend and she's "down for life" with Young Money. She also stated that Drake is great rapper and friend.

It's a dig at estranged rapper Tyga, who criticized Drake and Nicki on radio.

Meek Mill is the released his debut studio album after securing a recording contract with Maybach Music Group. The album, titled Dreams and Nightmares, was released in 2012, under MMG and Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded by the singles "Amen", "Burn" and "Young & Gettin' It", debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200.

We here at Journal de la Reyna  wish them well on their journey.

Insurgent Lawmaker Bill Shuster Riding Shotgun On Interstate 69!

Rep. Bill Shuster got the money shot from a lobbyist and the media is concerned about his ethics.

There's a whole lot of loving going on in the city of Altoona, PA.

Again, I don't give a rats ass about what goes on in the private lives of politicians. Why the junk food media made this a story is the fact that a powerful Republican lawmaker who has the power to issue funds to roads is caught up in an affair with a lobbyist.

The lobbyist is a part of a growing field of "I'll give you head" if you give me "$$$$$".

The lawmaker Republican Bill Shuster (R-PA) admits to having a relationship with a lobbyist.

He admits to cheating on Rebecca, his wife of 20 years.

According to the Cook Partisan Voting Index, Shuster represents the the 9th Congressional District. It was the most Republican district in Pennsylvania (and the Industrial Midwest), then with a score of R +17. Redistricting slightly increased the number Democrats in the district, with the addition of majority-Democratic Fayette County as well as the some of the Democratic portions of Washington County.

The price of gerrymandering. The Democrats can win the cities of Altoona, State College and Johnstown but fail at winning the district because it's strongly Republican.

Shuster has been resting comfortably in this district. For that he was promoted to be the chairman of House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

According to the insiders, he's a known player around the Capitol. He charms them ladies. All the while playing the game on his wife and children.

He finally tells the world that he's in love.

He's in love with his lobbyist. Shelley Rubino a former Democratic political operative now works at Airlines for America, a trade association for the major U.S. airlines.
Nick Calio, Bill Shuster, Sandra DePoy, Annie Keech, Gil Keech, Valerie Nelson, Shelley Rubino and Marty DePoy are shown at the Heart’s Delight Vintner’s Dinner in the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on May 3, 2013. | Photo by Alfredo Flores
Shuster and his mistress are circled. Politico broke the news of the improper and unethical relationship.
Shuster got a bundle of cash from this group. Matter of fact, Shuster gets top billing from the airline industry. Shuster and his staff are drafting bills to make the airline industry get away from the gubmint.

The FAA is trying to impose strong regulations on airlines and Shuster and his Republican friends are not willing to allow it to happen.

The Politico broke the story and now the junk food media is wondering did Weeper John Boehner (R-OH) know about this relationship?

Paging Melanie Sloan of Citizens for Responsible Ethics in Washington. We got another one!

I-99 is the Bud Shuster Freeway.
Shuster is the son of Bud "Mr. 99" Shuster.

Papa Shuster was a major player in Pennsylvania politics. As a lawmaker, Papa Bud was the guy who advocated a lot of pork and beans in Altoona, Johnstown and State College.

He managed to turn U.S. 220 into Interstate 99. The highway is being worked on from New York and it will end at its current terminus in Bedford near the PA Turnpike (Interstate 70 and 76). If it's possible Interstate 99 will continue into West Virginia, Virginia and end near Greensboro, NC.

Papa Shuster resigned from office after the FBI was looking into political corruption. He bounced before he could be served the papers. When he left, his son Lil' Bill got into the act and been in the Congress for over a decade.

Lil' Bill is a big supporter of the Interstate 69/Pan American Highway (aka NAFTA Superhighway).

The Republican Congress is willing to shelve out millions to the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. The highway will continue from its former terminus in Indianapolis and head towards Texas.

In twenty years, Interstate 69 will connect Canada to Mexico. The Interstate will start from Port Huron, MI and end in three points, Brownsville (I-69E), the cities McAllen and Pharr (I-69C), and Laredo, Texas (I-69W).

I-69 will travel from Michigan to Texas.
This adds to the list of controversial issues plaguing this inept Congress.

Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) is indicted on political corruption. He was involved in a scandal involving his friend who lobbied for Medicare benefits. Menendez also was involved in a sex scandal with underage Dominican Republic prostitutes. He was cleared of any involvement.

Aaron Schock, former U.S. Rep. from Illinois resigned after it was revealed he was spending like sailor and hiding his debts. Schock was a power broker in their Republican 2010 and 2014 victories. Schock's departure leaves Republican governor Bruce Bruner a crucial spot to be filled.

Michael Grim, former U.S. Rep from New York resigned after being reelected. He was indicted by the Department of Justice for taking bribes and tax evasion. The Republicans hope to retain the seat. It's in Staten Island, the only conservative part of New York City.

This clown Shuster released a video criticizing the president. He claims that the president shut down the coal mines and processing plants because of the EPA's regulations.

And We Be Like, Blah, Blah, Blah....

Image result for Robert Bates mugshot
Robert Bates, the former reserve deputy's mug. He was release from county lockup this week. He is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge after he put a bullet in Eric Harris of Tulsa.

So if I wanted to just do a blog that focused on one thing, wouldn't it be a big bore?

There was a story that made the news. A Florida man who flew his helicopter through Washington, D.C. The area around the White House and U.S. Capitol is restricted airspace. The pilot landed on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol in spite of being in restricted airspace. The man who flew this gyrocopter was a Florida mail carrier pissed over Congress not passing campaign finance reform. He could have been shot by the U.S. Air Force fighter jets. His machine didn't register on the radar and he had no radio contact with air traffic controllers. The man Doug Hughes, 61 told the Tampa Bay Times and U.S. Secret Service that he's attempting to do this. The U.S. Secret Service already under fire for some of its misdeeds have some explaining to do. Hughes was taken into custody and is facing charges that can net him 10 in federal time out.

Another man who committed suicide on grounds of the U.S. Capitol. Robert Bishop, 47 of Annapolis was snapping a picture of himself (selfie) before he pulled the pistol out. He was pissed that Congress failed to pass legislation that could tax the rich and powerful.

A reserve deputy from Tulsa who killed an unarmed suspect didn't get proper training. Robert Bates, 73 grabbed the firearm instead of the Taser and killed Eric Harris, 44. Harris was on camera trying to sell guns and drugs. When he realized that it was a sting operation, he bolted. He was chased and caught. On body cameras, the Tulsa police brought him down. In the few seconds of the video, he was shot in the back by Bates. Bates was confused on which item to use. Harris died. Bates is facing second degree manslaughter and was removed from the force. Many say that he bought his way into the force. He lacked proper training despite being a former cop. He is an insurance salesman and business leader.
Laquan McDonald was killed by Chicago police. They will not release the body camera or dash camera.
The Michigan cop who gave Floyd Dent a beat down is fired out the cannon. The Michigan state investigators and the U.S. Justice Department is looking into how Inkster Police allow their cops beat down an unarmed motorist. The motorist Dent 57, was pulled over and as soon as he stopped, the officers put him on the ground and gave him a nasty beat down. The officer at the center of this was a cop who beat a federal charge of impeding civil rights. The officer William Melendez (aka ROBOCOP) was fired out the cannon. According to the Wayne County District Judge, about 12 minutes of footage was not shown in this. A part of the video shows Melendez may have planted cocaine in the passenger seat of Dent. Dent is facing charges for possession. He has the other charges dropped. The city of Inkster had to let Melendez go after they looked at his previous encounters with motorist and various complaints such as evidence planting came forth. No word on charges being filed on Robocop.

Michael Slager is spared the GAS. But now the former North Charleston cop is facing LIFE in the iron college. He was the officer who was filmed by a witness in a fatal shooting of an unarmed motorist. He shot Walter Scott with the Taser after he bolted from his vehicle. After Scott escaped the Taser, Slager put eight in his back. Then he lied on his statements saying that Scott attacked him. Slager even planted the Taser next to the lifeless body of Scott. This incident occurred during a traffic stop in which Scott fled his vehicle.

Slager has another issue going on. Another man claims that Slager put a Taser on him after he refused to exit his vehicle in a traffic stop. Julius Wilson admits he was an ex-felon, but the pull over wasn't merit. The officer who pulled Wilson over was Bradley Woods. The officer asked him the questions about the area being high crime and the pull over was based on a faulty tail light. Wilson refused search of his vehicle and that's when Woods, Slager and another officer dragged him out of the vehicle. Slager put the Taser on Wilson. The incident was filmed and other residents are coming forth to complain about Slager's excessive force.
Rock crushes scissors. An underage drinker gets off with a warning. Texas Department of Safety is going to investigate three officers who allow her to walk.
Then the Texas Department of Safety looking into three officers who refused to arrest an underage Texas A&M University student caught drinking. The student played "Rock, Paper, and Scissors" with one of the officer and two others observed. They let her go. The county sheriff is about to load the cannon and fire them out because it was caught on camera and their conduct was unbecoming of an arresting officer.

Did you happen to see the video of a Chicago police officer putting 16 in the body of Laquon McDonald? The Chicago police aren't releasing it. Apparently its going to sway a grand jury.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Laquon McDonald.

See in October 2014, an officer claimed that McDonald was armed with a knife. The officer said to drop it and according to him, McDonald refused. Mayor Rahm Emmanuel is trying to keep the video in the vault. He thinks that it could cause riots. So I am guessing that the officer may have lied about McDonald having a weapon and the officer fired on him without regards. The officer and his superiors are trying to cover up. They paid the family over $5 million in damages.
Floyd Dent got a serious beat down by Inkster Police. The officers are under federal investigation and Inkster had to fire a corrupt cop out the cannon.
And what about the Arizona officer who drove his police cruiser up on a suspect and made him flip.

A Marana, Arizona police officer's dash camera shows him plowing his cruiser into a rifle-toting robbery suspect at high speed. The officer has been cleared of criminal wrongdoing. Mario Valencia is suing the department.

Michael Rapiejko got off felonious assault charge. But the officer had been in trouble before. He was a NYPD officer. He got into a situation with a man and his family. Rapiejko was the officer who pulled over the motorist in Manhattan. The lawsuit that was filed by the motorist stated that the officer pulled him out his vehicle and pointed a gun in his head in front of the family. Also that officer was threatening his life after he was let go.

So should I inject race into these stories? I mean the rest of the junk food media brought it up!

Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan had a hook to his song, Blah, Blah, Blah.

Today, I am going to use it. When the critics are word vomiting insults and baseless arguments, we're going be like Blah, Blah, Blah.
Doug Hughes was the pilot who landed on the U.S. Capitol.
Today we introduce you to another critic who throws his vomit on the keyboard and we have to look at it. But like always, I come back with the hard hitting response. I hope the commentator visits our page again.

The commentator goes right into the click bait. The click bait is often something the commentator obsesses over.

Take the comments of this person here. I shrink it down so you might have to get a magnifying glass to read it.

You are an idiot!!!!! Why does everyone bring race into everything. I guarantee they didn't go arrest the "black" guy walking through. One can only assume that you yourself are either black or "not white." Get over yourself. Race this and race that. Why can't it be that the cops were being cool and decided to give the girl a break like they did many others that day. The article says that on 113 citations were issued....do you know how many people attend Chilifest? 35,000. I promise you she wasn't the only one to get a warning. She was the only one that was recorded. We you get to the gates of heaven, God is going to look at you, shake his damn head and say "I'm sorry. If you wouldn't have brought race up in every thing you do then you might be walking through these gates. It's people like you that won't let racism die because that's all you people think about. White this and Black that."

Okay, thanks for reading. And yes, I'm an idiot. I am an idiot for giving you a response.

Normally, I often just delete these comments and move on. But today, I want to set the record straight about who we are and what you are.

1) No one put a gun to your head telling you to read our blog.

Walter Scott was a retired U.S. Coast Guard. The officer who shot him was also a former military officer.
2) Me and S. Baldwin been doing this stuff for years. We're not going anywhere.

3) We cover this stuff as well as the junk food media. It was worth noting because of the not so good police officers and the communities they're supposed to protect, I wouldn't be covering these issues.

On the previous post. Yeah, there were citations for arrest at an event that monitors underage drinking. The problem is that three out of at least 100 officers makes the whole bunch seem like they're advocating criminal behavior.

4) White privilege is an issue brought by a White scholar and White comedian. It wasn't our idea to bring up this issue. We just wanted to share this in order to prove a point.

5) So what! I said, Underage Drunk White Teen Beats A Rap Sheet. Is it trying to inject race into it?

Maybe I could say Drunk Underage Woman to be fairly neutral.

But that's not what I wanted. I wanted to point out the #CrimingWhileWhite meme. If the last postings on this blog say Police Killed Unarmed Suspect, would you find some reason to bring race this or race that into your word vomit?

Do I need to put an adjective on everything that I've post?

So if I want to say Cops Kill Unarmed Black Teen, should you go bananas over that?

6) Grow the fuck up. This is an opinion and mixture of a news blog. Some of the stuff posted will be controversial and inspiring. We do not apologize for that.

We understand you have a right to discourse. We have a right to delete you, ignore you, block you and end all contact with you. You may get mad. You may create hundreds of blogs, base your whole life around us and the blog, but you can't move a rock without breaking your back. We're a rock and we're not going to be moved. I want to prove to our good readers that our issues matter. We're not trying to make our issues based on one issue.

If you don't care about our issues, that's your problem.

7) I don't know you personally, but I bet you that you're not liked among people. I can tell that you spend countless hours and days trying to debate them "oh so liberal" agitators and those Black people who have an opinion. You troll blogs such as this one because it's "A BLACK BLOG."

You want to vomit about how it's not fair for THE BLACKS to bitch about injustices.

White men and women have injustices too! Yeah, that's what you're saying to us? You want us to focus on more criminal acts by Black folks, right?
In a few seconds, the Manassa officer runs over a suspect who had his back turned.
You want us to attack President Barack Obama and his family because in your mind, he's the biggest racist to ever be in the White House.

You believe everything is liberal. The air, the roads, the television, the shows you watch, the blogs, the colleges, the highways, the ocean, the planets and the animals. They're all liberal right?

8) That's why it's great to post on a blog. We expect this stuff. Thank you for reading. I don't agree with you and I don't have to call you names to say that. I don't have to keep promises either. So if you're reading this again, make sure you take the time to read 6 and 7 again. That's the only response that matters to you. You can call it an insult on your intelligence or name calling. It doesn't matter.

The rest is just me venting.

Underage Drunk White Teen Beats A Rap Sheet! Texas Puts The Hammer On Three Idiot Cops!

View this content on NYDailyNews's website
The girl could have sang and danced and the cops would have let her go. I mean if you sing badly and dance like a fool, could you be drunk and possibly underage?

A good way to get off the force and a great way to say the mistrust between Blacks and law enforcement is gotten even worse.

The #CrimingWhileWhite meme was picking up steam last year. White people are telling how they managed to beat a night in the county when confronted by the law.

A young woman and her friends recorded three arresting cops trying to apprehend her for underage drinking. In the video, there a festival at Texas A&M. The Chilifest Country event  was held and the law knew it would advocate underage drinking.

I mean how many underage teens are often slipped a drink while partying?

Well the young woman was about to be caught up. I guess she batted an eyelash and showed her boobs.

She would convince the cops that she's not drunk. In order to prove to the cops she wasn't drunk, she would play "Rock, Paper, & Scissors".

She wins. She use the "ROCK" to crush a cop's "SCISSORS".

The officers let her go and head off to probably arrest that Black guy who was probably walking through (probably acting suspiciously).

The Raw Story is on fire today. They cover this controversy.

“I have seen the video and can only say that this is unacceptable and unprofessional conduct by these officers,” said Dennis Gaas, constable for Burleson County Precinct 2 – which hired the officers to work security at the music festival in Snook.

Chief Gaas said the county doesn’t have enough officers to cover Chilifest, so he must hire up to 100 officers from other departments to provide crowd and traffic control for the event.

Officers issued 113 citations over the weekend and arrested 44 people, Gaas said.

He said officers are given discretion whether or not to issue citations, but he disapproved of the way these officers decided the outcome of the case.

“(Playing) games to get someone out of a ticket, I have a problem with that,” Gaas said.

He said the three officers, whose names were not released, have been told they are not allowed to work Chilifest again.

“It gives all of us a bad name,” Gaas said.

The incident stands in contrast to another encounter between police and a college student captured on viral video.

A black junior college student said two Philadelphia police officers tried to arrest him after they challenged him to a pickup basketball game and he beat them.

Video showed Samir Hill, a point guard at Allegany College of Maryland, drive quickly past one officer and cause another to fall down, and he said the pair came back two days later and detained him for nearly two hours before letting him go without charge.
