Lil Nas X Gets A Grammy!

Lil Nas X won his first Grammy.
Hip-Hop's best acts are announced at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Let's get right to it. The Grammy Awards are under intense scrutiny after it ousted its president Deborah Dugan. She was relieved of her duties as Recording Academy President. When she was fired out the cannon, she spilled tea. She basically lit the place up and made allegations that the Grammy Awards are rigged. She said that many entertainers are robbed of their opportunities because the music executives are bribing for top votes.

Harvey Mason, Jr. took over as president for the foreseeable future. Dugan has filed a federal lawsuit in regards to the allegations of sexual harassment and unlawful termination.

In a CBS This Morning interview, she basically told the hosts that she was trying to clean up corruption in the Grammys.

Dugan made claims that the Recording Academy was complicit in corruption citing, "voting irregularities, financial mismanagement, 'exorbitant and unnecessary' legal bills, and conflicts of interest involving members of the academy's board, executive committee and outside lawyers.

The Grammys are still on. I don't watch awards shows.
