The first single off Drake and Future's collaboration mixtape is titled, "Life is Good." |
It seems like What A Time To Be Alive 2 is coming out this year. We await for Atlanta's codeine obsessed rapper and Toronto's favorite son to release their mixtape/album on Apple Music.
Director X (also known as Little X) completed the filming of "Life Is Good."
Drake once again is teasing the fans of the collaboration project with Future. The two released the smash album "What A Time To Be Alive" in 2015 and it launched the hit, "Jumpman."
The two rappers have cooked up many hints to what they're expecting on the album.
Fans are pleased to hear the delivery of the two. Drake enters in with his contemporary rhymes and took a dig at Pusha T and Kanye West. His lyrics acknowledged that he may have loss one rap battle but never lost his fans or the support of the hip-hop community.
The video interludes to the two talking in the back of a restaurant debating over how to make money off rapping.
Okay peep the lyrics.
[Part I]
[Chorus: Drake]
Workin' on the weekend like usual
Way off in the deep end like usual
Niggas swear they passed us, they doin' too much
Haven't done my taxes, I'm too turnt up
Virgil got that Patek on my wrist goin' nuts
Niggas caught me slippin' once, okay, so what?
Someone hit your block up, I'd tell you if it was us
Manor house in Rosewood, this shit too plush
[Verse: Drake]
Say my days are numbered, but I keep wakin' up
Know you see my texts, baby, please say some
Wine by the glass, your man a cheapskate, huh?
Niggas gotta move off my release day, huh
Bitch, this is fame, not clout
I don't even know what that's about, watch your mouth
Baby got a ego twice the size of the crib
I can never tell her shit, it is what it is (What)
Said what I had to and did what I did (Ayy)
Never turn my back on FBG, God forbid
Virgil got the Patek on my wrist doin' front flips
Givin' you my number, but don't hit me on no dumb shit
[Chorus: Drake]
Workin' on the weekend like usual
Way off in the deep end like usual (Like usual)
Niggas swear they passed us, they doin' too much
Haven't done my taxes, I'm too turnt up
Virgil got that Patek on my wrist goin' nuts
Niggas caught me slippin' once, okay, so what?
Someone hit your block up, I'd tell you if it was us
Manor house in Rosewood, this shit too plush
[Interlude: Future]

Life is good, you know what I mean? Like

The video was filmed in Atlanta and the two were portrayed as "working class" individuals picking up trash, cooking at a culinary school and working at a fast food restaurant.
They broke the fourth wall in this video.

Disclaimer: Future is a signed act on Epic Records. His label Freebandz is an independent label that has released most of his music. He was formerly signed to Rocko's A1 Music. He left the A1 label after finishing his two albums that were released in 2018.
Future is the father of seven (possibly nine children). My second cousin has a child from him.
Drake is an actor/rapper/singer and media mogul. There's no confirmation of leaving Cash Money/Young Money Records as of yet. But he's been very active in promoting his independent label OVO (October's Very Own) label.
