Media personality Nick Cannon announced the lost of his son Zen to a brain tumor. The most recent child of the entertainer and model Alyssa Scott. He announced on his talk show the passing of his son.
"Over the weekend I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus that was pretty much a malignant, invasive midline brain tumor, brain cancer," said an emotional Cannon. "It's tough."
He has six other children with other women. The most notable were two children from pop singer Mariah Carey.
Cannon shared that he spent the past weekend with his son in California and said "not only did we get to see the sun rise, we got to see the sun set."
"I didn't know how I was going to handle today," Cannon said to the audience. "But I wanted to grieve with my family."
Cannon shared his death with TV host Dr. Laura Berman. Berman had lost her son Samuel Berman Chapman to an accident drug overdose at the age of 16.
