A Republican judge and members of the family were throwing around NIGGER. The incident was caught on tape and now the judge is taking a leave of absence and is also not resigning as of yet.

She was just recently elected to serve on the bench at a Lafayette, Louisiana city docket.

The video which was posted on several social media websites showed a television set displaying security footage of what appears to be a foiled burglary at the home of the judge on early Saturday morning. 

Laughter and racial slurs are heard from the viewers --- who aren't visible on camera -- as they watch two people capture the suspect.

One of the voices on the video appeared to be the judge.

The judge will take a leave of absence without pay. The lawyer, Dnaa Ciolino said, "I am going to call the [Louisiana] Judiciary Commission, and we are going to file a motion." 

He added the judge was "humiliated, embarrassed, and sorry for what she has done and the harm she has caused to the community."

The judge claims that the video was made at her home but she took a sedative and didn't remember what happened when she uttered NIGGER.

Right!

"I was given a sedative at the time of the video. I have zero recollection of the video and the disturbing language used during it. Anyone who knows me and my husband, knows this is contrary to the way we live our lives. We ask for your understanding, forgiveness, patience and prayers," said the judge in a statement.

She said the suspect was detained by family members. It was an armed burglary.

"The police were called and the assailant was arrested. The incident shook me to my core and my mental state was fragile," she said.

The suspect was a 59-year old man who was arrested on simple burglary. He is being held on a $10,000 get out free card. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Paul Mouton confirmed that the suspect had no weapon at the time of his arrest, despite the claims the judge made about this being an armed burglary.

The video was posted on social media. We don't know who got a hold of it but it was disturbing.

"That's me," one viewer says while watching the security footage of the man being caught. "And mom's yelling 'Nigger, Nigger." Another viewer says, "We have a NIGGER. It's a NIGGER, like a roach."

The judge is a Republican who won the court seat for Division A of the Lafayette City Court. She earned 57% of the vote over her opponent who was unaffiliated. She is in the first year of her term. She has a six year term. Before that she was a public defender and a stay at home mother.

She raised four little bigots in homeschooling. She claims that fame of telling courtroom watchers to put their damn cell phones in lockers while trial is in session. 

Damn shame, she didn't happen to tell people over her home to put their phones up.

She would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the cell phone and a lot of truths about Republicans in the age of Washed Up 45.

The Lafayette Chapter of the NAACP and the Louisiana Black Caucus is calling for the judge to bounce.
