So are they going to chant "Let's Go Brandon!" when President Joe Biden makes an arrival to Mayfield and Dawson Springs, Kentucky?

The commonwealth was hit by powerful tornadoes in mid-December. A rare fall and winter event that cost over 1,000 lives. On top of that, towns were completely destroyed.

It appears that Kentucky's two far-right senators are having a "moment of clarity." Obstructionist Leader Karen McConnell and the least effective Republican senator Karen Paul are now dealt a reality about spending. They opposed the president's policies and stood in the way of progress. The Kentucky senators are now begging for federal assistance.

Many are calling their rotten asses out for being humongous hypocrites. 

Biden will arrive on Wednesday to survey the aftermath of devastating tornadoes that left dozens dead and thousands without electricity and other utilities.

“We’re going to stay as long as it takes to help them,” Biden told reporters during an Oval Office briefing on the disaster, adding that the most urgent priority was “making sure … that we’re not leaving anybody still breathing under debris.”

“The devastation is just stunning,” the president said. “I mean, there’s nothing left standing, basically, along the path that goes all the way through.”

Later, Biden pointed out damage on a map of the city of Mayfield in western Kentucky, which he said had been “wiped out” by the twister.

“This is a town with a relatively low average income of under $20,000 a year,” he said. “It is a town that has been wiped out, but it’s not the only town.”

The White House press office said Biden will visit the Army installation at Fort Campbell, Ky., for a briefing on the storm before continuing on to Mayfield and Dawson Springs to inspect the damage.

“We continue to pray for everyone in Kentucky and the other states are affected,” Biden said. “And particularly my heart goes out to the governor of Kentucky, who has lost family himself. It is pretty rough stuff.”

 Mayfield, Kentucky was completely destroyed.

Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear told CBS News’ “Face the Nation” Sunday that “my uncle lost a couple of cousins in Muhlenberg County.” 

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Deanne Criswell joined Biden to brief him on the disaster.

In response to a reporter who asked if he blamed the extreme weather on climate change, the president said “we can’t say with absolute certainty,” an echo of his statement from Saturday.

“I’m going to be talking with the Environmental Protection Agency and I’m going to talk with other agencies to determine — in fact, matter of fact, some of it has to do with El Nino,” Biden said. “There’s a lot of things and we don’t know for certain and I don’t want to say anything [that] is not precisely true”What is — certainly it is one of the worst tornado disasters we’ve had in the country. And the second thing that’s certain is that it is unusual. It is unusual how it happened, how many places have touched down and the length of the path.”
