Another rapper passed away early in his prime. West coast rapper Drakeo the Ruler who recently appeared on Hot 106 FM and Shade45's The LA Leakers was stabbed in the neck during a concert.
At the peak of his prime, the rapper was fatally stabbed at the Once Upon a Time concert in Los Angeles.
This happened backstage at the Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, a source told the Los Angeles Times.
Paramedics responded to a report of a stabbing at the stadium in Exposition Park around 8:40pm, said Margaret Stewart, public information officer for the Los Angeles Fire Department. One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The individual was not identified, but a person with direct knowledge of the incident told the Times that Drakeo the Ruler was attacked by a group of people.
The rapper was scheduled to perform at this concert. It included the rappers Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, YG and numerous others.
The rapper born Darrell Caldwell, died from his injuries. The sources say that a video show a group of people running on stage and security trying to break up a fight.
The 28-year old rapper was backstage when an altercation broke out among several people and he was stabbed.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that their looking at footage and are trying to piece together the terrorist responsible for the rising rapper's death.
No arrests were made in the stabbing. Officer Luis Garcia, the spokesman said that the incident will be handled by The California Highway Patrol.
The suspects could face LIFE or DEATH if convicted of murder. The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
It never happens in your community....... Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how this gun reform is taking away your rights. These incidents are a tragic part of American history.
And even though, Drakeo the Ruler was fatally stabbed, it's still another father, son, brother. It's another human life taken too soon to senseless violence in the United States.
