The Detroit rapper has been dating Naya Rivera for awhile. But all things like their love for one another has come to an end. They've called off an engagement and its over for them.

Apparently the two had some friction. According to the junk food media, there were accusations of Big Sean cheating on her. Big Sean dated his high school girlfriend Ashley Marie from the time he was sixteen until their break-up in early 2013. He subsequently began dating actress Naya Rivera, whom he first he met over Twitter; their relationship became public in April 2013, though Big Sean told Complex that they had been dating for a while beforehand.

One of Sean's ex, Brytni took to Twitter to speak her mind about the situation, claiming that she thinks it's a bad idea for him to be spreading this message to his younger fans.

"I mean it's on you if you want to publicly admit your role in cheating as a positive. But remember..Telling your fans who are mostly young girls that its ok to disrespect another woman is foul. Sorry. Not sorry."

Brytni was also called out in the track by Naya, who sang "Amber, Brytni, Tiffany, Sorry he belongs to me /Heather, Ashley, Stephanie It just wasn't meant to be, Sorry!"

Big Sean was arrested for sexual assault at a concert in Lewiston, New York.

On October 26, 2011, Big Sean pleaded guilty to second degree unlawful imprisonment, and was fined $750. The charges of third-degree sexual abuse were dropped. Big Sean's attorney, Scott Leemon, stated that Big Sean "...did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct.”

Big Sean's rep released a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 9, announcing that the rapper has decided to call off his engagement to the "Glee" star.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his rep said. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

Despite reports that Big Sean, 26, cheated on Rivera, 27, a source tells Us "the allegations are 100% false and untrue" and that the "Beware" singer was the one who ended the relationship.

The couple announced their engagement in October 2013 with Rivera telling the Spring 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan Latinas that she thought Big Sean would make "an amazing husband."

"He's so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love," she said. "We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it's even sweeter that I've found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute."

Sean (born Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, 26) signed to Kanye West's Getting Out Our Dreams Music (G.O.O.D Music) label in 2007 and released two critically acclaimed albums.

Baby May Have Been Cured Of HIV!

One of the most dangerous diseases to ever face the world, HIV.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lentivirus (slowly-replicating retrovirus) that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

The virus brings life-threatening opportunistic infections and cancers to thrive. Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, semen, vaginal fluid, pre-ejaculate, or breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells.

Of course, millions of Americans are affected with this disease. It's spreads through sexual conduct, uncleaned heroin needle sharing, blood transfusions and a mothering baring a child.

HIV doesn't discriminates against race, sexuality, gender, nationality and age. It kills everyone.

Major news in the fight against the deadly disease. A newborn baby was cured of the disease.

(Reuters) - The remarkable case of a baby being cured of HIV infection in the United States using readily available drugs has raised new hope for eradicating the infection in infants worldwide, but scientists say it will take a lot more research and much more sensitive diagnostics before this hope becomes a reality.

In a medical first for an infant, the Mississippi toddler was born in July 2010 infected with HIV, treated within 30 hours of delivery with aggressive HIV therapy, which continued for 18 months. She is now considered cured of her infection, a team of researchers led by Dr. Deborah Persaud, a virologist at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, said in a news conference at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections in Atlanta on Sunday.

"From a clinical perspective, this means that if you can get an infected baby on to antiretroviral drugs immediately after delivery, it's going to be possible to prevent or reverse the infection - essentially cure the baby," said Dr. Steven Deeks, an HIV/AIDS researcher at the University of California at San Francisco who is attending the conference, where the case was presented to researchers on Monday.

Deeks and others hailed the findings as a great advance in the search for a cure in babies born infected with HIV. But the researchers said they also suggest the need for better ways to diagnose HIV infection, a process that typically takes up to six weeks.

"This could have a profound effect on how we approach babies born to HIV-infected moms," Deeks said.

Treatment of HIV-infected mothers before delivery is the best way to prevent HIV infection of infants, experts say, but even in resource-rich countries such as the United States, 100 to 200 babies are born each year infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health.

Worldwide, especially in developing countries, as many as 1,000 babies are born infected each day. For these children, the findings could have a major impact on the "terrible burden of HIV infection throughout the world," Fauci said.

Michel Sidibé, executive director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, known as UNAIDS, said the news "gives us great hope that a cure for HIV in children is possible," but it also underscores the need for research and innovation, "especially in the area of early diagnostics."

Fauci said the child's case was an important "proof of concept," but he cautioned that it was only one case and it needs to be further validated.

"The real question is will this be broadly applicable to other infants?" he said.

Fauci said there is a risk that without better diagnostics, children who were never infected in the first place could be exposed to toxic drugs with very early treatment.

In the case of the Mississippi girl, Dr. Hannah Gay, a pediatric HIV specialist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, made the call to treat the child with HIV drugs even before her infection was confirmed because she believed the child was at such great risk of infection. Had she been wrong, the therapy would have been stopped.

"Since the mother had really been at such high risk of transmitting to the baby, they decided to treat on square one," said Fauci, as opposed to giving the child a lower, preventative dose of drugs until test results confirm an infection.

"The approach of treating really, really early needs to be pursued," he said. "When we get better diagnostics where we can tell within the first day or so whether the baby is infected, an approach like this looks like it might be a reasonable thing to pursue with the appropriate clinical trials."

Fauci said it is not time to change treatment protocols for infants who are born infected. "It's a single case. We've got to be careful about that."

Washington Redskins Robert Griffin III is the quarterback who is rising in popularity these days. Griffin played college football for Baylor University, and won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. He was selected by the Redskins with the second pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. Griffin was born on Okinawa, where his parents, Robert Jr. and Jacqueline, both U.S. Army sergeants, were stationed. He has been criticized by a Black sports commentator for being a "token!" That commentator said it in a way that he's been yanked off the television. Griffin and his fiancée Rebecca Liddicoat, a native of Boulder, Colorado are an interracial couple.

Rob Parker is an ESPN commentator was yanked off the Sportcenter!



Parker known for outlandish statements in the past got the "cornball brother" dig and ESPN has suspended him for it.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said: "Following yesterday's comments, Rob Parker has been suspended until further notice. We are conducting a full review."

Parker, appearing on ESPN's "First Take" on Thursday, was asked about Griffin's role as a black quarterback. Parker questioned Griffin's "blackness."

"Is he a brother or a cornball brother?" said Parker, who is black.

Later, he said he wanted to find out more about Griffin and how he deals with black teammates and others in Washington.

"We all know he has a white fiancée," he said. "There was all this talk about he's a Republican, which, there's no information [about that] at all. I'm just trying to dig deeper as to why he has an issue. Because we did find out with Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods was like, I've got black skin, but don't call me black. So people got to wondering about Tiger Woods early on."

Robert Griffin II, the quarterback's father, told USA Today Sports Thursday night : "I wouldn't say it's racism. I would just say some people put things out there about people so they can stir things up."

DeMaurice Smith, executive director of the NFL Players Association, told The Washington Post in an email Friday: "Robert can certainly take care of himself. Nonetheless, I hope that our men and for that matter, my own kids, will never beg for authenticity from someone who can only talk about the things that other people have the courage to do. People need to be held accountable for the offensive things that they say."

I will testify to the liberal and conservative media for agreement that Black people are their own worst enemy!

Rob Parker: You've been served! 

That's what I hear coming from the likes of Jesse Lee Peterson, Micheal Steele, Alveda King, Herman Cain and outgoing Congressman Allen West (R-Florida). I hear it from the likes of Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-California), Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio), Congressman Bobby Rush (D-Illinois), Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Georgia), Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and even President Barack Obama.

Conservative media upset over the comments. It rings echos of the short stint of then ESPN commentator and conservative agitating asshole Rush Limbaugh. The conservative agitator riled up the media by saying former Philadelphia Eagles star Donavon McNabb was overrated because the media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed. McNabb said that he didn't mind criticism of his performance, but was upset that Limbaugh made his race an issue and said it was too late for an apology.

A true player on and off the field.

Limbaugh left ESPN soon after but gave them a parting shot! Limbaugh told the National Association of Broadcasters at a convention in Philadelphia, "The great people at ESPN did not want to deal with this kind of reaction."

Limbaugh has been noted for making controversial race-related statements with regard to African-Americans. He has drawn connections between African-American appearance and criminality on several occasions, once opining that all newspaper composite pictures of wanted criminals resembled Jesse Jackson, and another time that "the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons."

Hip-Hop producer/rapper Swizz Beatz has produced a string of major hits for some of the country's best talents. As a member of the hip-hop collective Ruff Ryders, Swizz Beatz gained notoriety for being a "monster" of the beats! He is the nephew of the rap label founders Darrin "Dee" Dean and Joaquin "Waah" Dean.

He was a teenager when he produced his first hits. He is one of the most sought out producers.

He is closely associates with hardcore rappers DMX, The Lox and rapper/actress Eve.

Swizz Beatz has been in the news because of his marriage to R & B singer Alicia Keys. He fathered a child with her. He was dealing with a bitter divorce with former wife Mashonda. He is the father of other three children. He has one with Mashonda, another with English singer Jahna Sebastian and one with an anonymous woman. There's also talk of him having affairs while he is still married to Keys. Those accusations are not confirmed as of yet.

International Business Times reports that Swizz Beatz is the "MONSTER" of debt. The IRS is saying he owes them that "Money In The Bank".

It's bad enough he owes child support but the IRS too, ouch!

TMZ  reports that the 34-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Kasssem Dean, owes the federal government $2.6 million in unpaid taxes.

The news source suggests that Beatz is living his own lyrics, "You ain't getting none from me or my bank."

Beatz is no stranger to tax issues; New York State filed a lien against him in 2010 for $98,246.18 in unpaid state taxes.

SOHH  also noted that he has had tax liens against him filed with the New York County Clerk, the Rockland County (New York) Clerk, and the Somerset County (New Jersey) Clerk.

In conjunction with his ex-wife, R&B singer Mashonda, Beatz reportedly owes taxes as far back as 2006.

There has been no word from Beatz, but sources suggest that the Grammy winner is not wanting for money.

He and wife, Alicia Keys, are in the process of signing a $12 million agreement to buy Eddie Murphy’s Englewood, California, mansion, the Daily Mail UK reported. The couple has placed their New York home on the market for about $17.95 million.

Weak jobs report. For the month of June, unemployment is still above 8%. The United States is still struggling to bring jobs back. 


Not good news for President Barack Obama and the members of Congress.

We have a problem people!

Issues such as weak demand, the wildfires, Europe, and the stock market are factors.

The president can't make unemployment numbers go down! That's not going to happen overnight and it's not going to be a simple fix. He can lay out the groundwork and he still has one major obstacle to face.

Congress.

The real issue lies with the partisan gridlock with Congress. Before they went on their umpteenth recess vacation, all members of the House and Senate passed a student's loan bill and jobs bill. These bills were passed at the last minute, after the president urged speeder progress when passing it.

Unfortunately, when the president is having a good week, the reality of the jobs report brings him back to the  drag. Although jobs are added, the more hiring means the greater mass of employment. If the president could  he would wish a million jobs a month. But that can't happen.

Small businesses are being squeezed out of existence by name brand companies. The local coffee shop will be competing with Starbucks. The local deli is competing with Subway. The grocery store is competing with Kroger, Food Lion and Safeway. The local dress shop is competing with David's Bridal. The local doughnut shop is competing with Dunkin' Donuts. You rather travel to Wal-Mart, Target or Kohl's than drive downtown to the local businesses. You rather go to the open air town centers because its trendier than the mall.

Signs of a struggling economy. High vacancy rates at a mall.

Signs of a dying city. Foreclosed skyscrappers, homes and businesses.

Once again, the predecessor George W. Bush is a bad memory to the Republicans. They avoid him and his father George H.W. Bush every time. You hear Republicans and their conservative allies rally around Ronald Reagan, the only Republican they'll ever mention besides Abraham Lincoln.

Republicans are aware of the massive spending of Reagan and the Bushes. They don't care what they do! As long as they're Republicans, they are happy. But when a Democrat gets into office, the Republicans go holy bat shit with this notion that it's automatically the fault of the successor when things are getting worse before they gotten better.

See when the Democratic Party was in charge, things were done! Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-California) had led the House and Senate. They may of had some of their own members struggle on votes, but they had enough to pass laws. The Republicans painted them as the party of overreach and the Democrats couldn't figure out a message. Republicans managed to say that policies passed by Congress under the Democratic leadership were failing. And of course, people were soaking it up and even believing it.

White males are the most pessimistic voters this year around. President Barack Obama is struggling on winning this group of voters.

Former Massachusetts governor, perennial candidate for president, Mitt Romney has a lackluster campaign.

His campaign offers nothing inspiring. But you better believe that he's well funded and well messaged. As long as Romney can say that he knows how to fix the economy, people will lean towards him. Romney has no clear message to fixing the economy. He offers generic bumper sticker phrases and running on the "I am the only one who can beat Obama" crap. Some in his own party think he's not capable of taking on the president.

There's no signs of the Tea Party this year. The very people who voted out the Democratic majority are glum faced about the Republican leadership. They were hoping the Congress was going to get their act together and cut the spending. Alas that's not the case. Those freshmen Tea Party members of the Republican Party have turned their backs on the principles. They were promising to be that fiscally conservative member who can keep the president from spending the country into problematic countries like Greece.
       
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has been labeled a "crybaby" or milquetoast leader. The speaker allowed spending bills to pass, amid fierce opposition from his own members of his party. Even House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia) has threatened to oust Boehner if he doesn't get his act together.


Another thing. We hear the Republicans say that our problems are similar to Greece and Spain. 


Not exactly. The problems that Greece is facing are the banks and austerity cuts. Those people who live and work in Greece are experience an unemployment rate at 18%. That's not good for anyone. They were asking for spending bailouts. Conservative leaders like the ones in France, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany were urging nations struggling to cut domestic programs. That wasn't popular in Europe. 


They're facing an economic recession and it's affecting the United States.


The Republicans are rooting for the economy to fail. They want revenge on the Democrats after they hammered former president George W. Bush on his handling of the economy.


With leaders saying that their only goal is to see that the president serves one term, or an overpaid talk show host saying he "hopes [Obama] fails", it's pretty clear that they're celebrating failure over success.


Unemployment will stay around 7% - 9% for the next five years no matter what the president or congress does.

I wrote this poem after seeing another story about a black man being shot by police. While the outrage was justified I wondered why we don’t see the same level of outrage when one young black man kills another.

While police shootings and brutality are not the isolated incidents many try to make them out to be there is no comparison when it comes to the fact that black on black crime takes far more young black lives.

Until we ourselves show that we care about this issue there will be no way to stop it.
