Everytime a person of color is shot and killed by the police, the far-right wants to look up the criminal history of the suspect.
WE ARE GETTING TIRED OF THIS NARRATIVE! NO MORE EXCUSES! IF YOU CAN DETAIN ARMED WHITE SUSPECTS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DETAIN A BLACK MAN WITHOUT USING DEADLY FORCE!

The latest police shooting in the United States. Again, a never ending theme here on Journal de la Reyna is the “What Happened To” postings.
I often do these postings in regards to the latest incident involving a person of color being either killed by gun or racially motivated violence.
I normally do a long version of the posting and offer you the opportunity to visit websites that honor those killed by gun violence that never get national attention.
With COVID-19 killing over 2,000 people a day, gun violence took a backseat. At least 105 people have been killed each day by gun violence. The American people are so numb to this stuff. They won’t socially distance. They won’t wear facial masks. They don’t take the dangers of the coronavirus seriously.
As with gun violence, Congress will not do anything to stop it. Republican in the House and Senate as well as a handful of Democrats will continue to block legislation that stops the ongoing gun violence pandemic. They can’t even do anything.
The outgoing president, Donald J. Trump continues to do nothing about these issues. He’s too busy trying to undermine the election results.
Hopefully we will get police reform in the next session of Congress.
So the state of Florida has one of the worst COVID-19 cases in the nation. The idiot governor Ron DeSantis continues to allow individuals go out in public without facial protection and continues to allow 100% capacity in Florida. The state has over 10,000 deaths and 1.4 million cases.
DeSantis also is considering passing Blue Lives Matter laws that could put individuals in the iron college for up to 30 years if they attack a cop during a protest.
Okay, I am fed up with the excuses from cops.
The words: “I feared for my life.” These are the excuses cops use when they engage in deadly force against a fleeing suspect whether they’re in a vehicle, grabbing their Tasers, holding a knife, or running away with a firearm being shown. If the suspect isn’t shooting at the cop, there is no excuse for shooting. I get cops have to use quick judgement when dealing with unpredictable situations, but damn.
If a vehicle is approaching me, I am getting the fuck out the way.
Florida families are demanding answers to why Brevard County boys shot and killed two teens fleeing from them.
The parents of a 16-year old and an 18-year old shot and killed last Friday along a Cocoa residential road by a county boy. The families of A.J. Crooms and Sincere Pierce were shot and killed by the cops after they tried to flee in a vehicle they determined was stolen.
“We need justice. We want the names of the deputies and their badge numbers. There’s going to be some justice for A.J. and Sincere,” said Quasheda Pierce, the mother of Sincere. The mother of A.J. said the law has not informed her on why the cops chose to use deadly force.
“A friend of the family told me he was shot,” Tasha Strachan said, looking over pictures of her son on her phone. “The doctor told me [A.J.] died. I just feel terrible. My son was sweet and loving. Anybody who knew him loved him.”
Back on Nov. 13 around 10am, Brevard County boys were in the neighborhood but within the city of Cocoa. The areas outside of Cocoa are patrolled by the county.
The law claims that county boys were searching for a stolen car that matched the description A.J. and Sincere were riding in.

The cop who were named Deputy Jafet Santiago-Miranda and Carson Hendren. They were attempting to conduct a stop. The sheriff, Wayne Ivey said one of his deputies was “forced to fire” on a car.
Clearly, the police were not in danger. The car was trying to avoid the officer.
The county boys did not activate lights nor indicted they were pursuing a pull over at the time of this shooting. The two are iced until an investigation determined that justified force was necessary.
Ben Crump, who has dealt with many high profile shootings in the country involving people of color said that AJ and Sincere didn’t deserve their fate. He said he wants the Brevard County boys to release all the footage and records of both cops.
“It is painfully troubling to us that this teen driver and the teen backseat passenger were terrified and drove around the deputies who approached the vehicle with guns drawn. Believe your own eyes,” Crump said. “The video shows the deputy was still shooting as the car cleared him and posed no threat.”
In addition to demanding the sheriff release all recordings, they need to have witnesses who saw the whole incident share their stories to the public.
“We demand that BCSO release all footage in the case, including the dashcam footage from the other vehicle, and any neighborhood surveillance videos,” Crump said. “We urge anyone with additional video evidence, including neighbors with home surveillance cams, to come forward so that we can have a clearer picture of the facts in this case.”

So far, more Black men and women are being killed by the police. I don't want to hear no talk about white suspects being killed far more. So far, the junk food media has spotlighted Black people being shot by the police.
Tell me one political leader willing to take on the police unions, the National Rifle Association and far-right agitators!
Joe Biden owes his success to Black voters. He and Kamala Harris need to work on police reform after we get this goddamn pandemic under control. We need to make sure that we hold the new administration accountable or we'll replace them like we did with President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.
