Dems Need To End The Chuck Schumer And Nancy Pelosi Dynasty!

All the money raked in for competitive races, Democrats come up short. Now it's time for Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to move on past their roles as leader of the Congress.

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

This was a colossal mess of an election. Both sides need to figure out how to do it right.

President Donald J. Trump is not happy that the electoral college isn’t looking like it’s in his favor. So far, his rival is only one state away from winning the presidency. Former vice president Joe Biden awaits the decision of Nevada. If the state calls it for Biden, he will accumulate enough votes to be declared the president.

The Trump campaign and Biden campaign saw there were huge flaws in their internal polling.

Trump did poorly with white men. He managed to win over 89% of the vote with white men with little college or no college. He ended up losing suburban men which makes a core base of Republicans. He also lost with first time voters. He only managed to receive only 30% of the vote. He did reasonably well with Black voters and Latinx voters.

The main reasons why the election was this close will eventually come to fruition but I heard from one of my Black co-workers, that she felt that Biden’s proposals on the coronavirus and promises of shutting down the economy, made her skeptical of him. One of my Black friends said that he wasn’t keen on Kamala Harris because she’s not authentically Black in his opinion.

Some Blacks have said that Trump had made small outreaches to people of color. He hasn’t really shown much effort due to COVID-19 but that picture he took with far-right agitators Terrence K Williams, Diamond & Silk and Darrell Scott proved that he had a modest amount of Black support despite his racially charged language.

For folks like that including 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and even Lil Pump, his racism isn’t the problem, it’s the economy stupid!

The Trump economy is not perfect but it’s not bad. I am going to say that under him before the pandemic, paychecks were at least good. But the results weren’t always good when the taxes rolled in.

He is now trying to mount a legal fight that might lead it into the Supreme Court with his newly appointed justice, Amy Coney Barrett. Folks, the Trump campaign is really steamed.

No we’re not going to move on past the pandemic. I want you to understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has killed over 300,000 Americans. The infection rate a day is over 100,000. The virus has infected over 11 million people. Globally, we’re close to nearly 20 million.

Okay, the House and Senate races that the Democrats lost.

I stated in earlier posts that I am truly angry that Jaime Harrison lost this. He outraised his opponent 4:1 and yet Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) beat him in double digits. Somehow, the pollsters got it wrong and of course, the Democrats put so much effort in trying to win over White working class voters. They might as well hang that shit up.

They are losing the Black male vote. So far, if the returns are in, Biden managed to win only 85% of the Black vote. That means only 11% of the Black male vote and 4% of the Black woman vote went to Trump. Biden won 74% of the Hispanic/Latino vote. He barely cracked the door with young white voters. He only has 54% of the white young vote. He earned at least 88% of the young Hispanic/Latino, 90% of the Native American and 95% of the young Black vote.

There is grumbling among Democrats and they seriously believe that the two coastal lawmakers Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) need to step aside. I've had enough of the old white guard leading the flock.

Also Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez needs to go. He isn’t doing enough to reach out to people of color. We recruited hundreds of candidates who are of color and most of them either lost or facing defeat to white nationalists. This shouldn't have been the case. They stayed focused on the negatives of Trump and not pushing a message on why the incumbent failed to help his/her district.

The Democrats thought they won over suburban white women. I guess you see they're nothing but wolves in sheep clothing as well. The Republican Party is 96% white. There's little doubt that many of the new class are of color. Maybe if I hear that Burgess Owens became a Rep-elect from Utah, but I'll work on that piece Friday along with the post-election job numbers.

I believe that thanks to the polarizing nature of Trump, Pelosi and Schumer are too toxic for the Democratic Party. I also believe that the party gave too much air to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). They have no accomplishments as lawmakers and they shouldn't be running around like the House is on fire. Yes, we're all concerned about climate change, racial injustice, Medicare for All, Supreme Court justices and women's rights. Yes, we understand that Palestine isn't getting fair treatment. But damn it, you can't win over folks outside your motherfucking districts with this firebrand leftist shit. White folks and Cuban Americans aren't buying the hype.

The Democrats should have stopped playing nice to folks who aren't in the party to begin with. If he wanted to dictate the party, he should become a member. But alas, he plays the role of an independent who sits with the Democrats whenever it's time for a floor vote. The Democrats allowed an independent like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) dictates where the party should have gone.

Stay focus on the message of the candidate and not lump all those proposals in Biden's agenda. AOC and Sanders aren't running for president. It was Biden and it gave Trump firepower to tag Biden as a socialist when he's just a mainstream progressive.

Now going in, if Biden does clinch the presidency, we will expect McConnell to change the rules to make it a 60 seat majority to confirm federal judges and Supreme Court nominees.

All for the simple joy of demonizing Biden and thumbing his purple fingers at democracy for partisan games.

So please, don’t think we’re going to be fickle about the election if we get a President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

Hell, no!

On day one, Biden will have to do something or he’ll join the One-Term Club for Presidents.

By the way, Republicans are likely going to get more protection from the U.S. Capitol Police.

Their wins only assure that they’ll never be getting any rest. Because protesters will show up at their events and disrupt their campaigns. Trust me, McConnell, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), Rep. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), Rep-elect Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA), Rep-elect Lauren Bobert (R-CO) and Rep-elect Madison Cawthron (R-NC) will not see a day without a protest or death threats.

Democrats need to corral the squad and make them understand that their districts aren’t Oklahoma, suburban Miami, outskirts of Kansas City, Kansas and Dallas, Texas.

Democrats gambled their millions on hope and got handed their asses.

Now going in, they’re only a handful shy of losing the majority in 2022. Bet you that Republicans aren’t wasting time trying to play nice. It’s an all-out war with the new president.

Mark my words, Biden is in for a ride.
