These Companies May Not Survive 2021!

The Golden Corral, a staple of family buffets is going to be extinct.

BLOGGER IS TRASH!

This is still Donald J. Trump’s America folks.

Don’t blame Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for the actions of Trump. He still is the President of the United States until January 20th, 2021.

Well it became apparent that COVID-19 has made a serious dent on retail and restaurants in the United States.

We’re experiencing the downfall of name brand companies and it’s all due to Trump’s failure to take the pandemic seriously.

1. Golden Corral buffets are going out of business. With social distancing and restrictions to indoor dining, the Golden Corral is hanging up its feedbag and riding off into the sunset. The company quietly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is hoping to consolidate resources during this pandemic. They had to furlough thousands of workers who served hundreds of families with buffets of food. With the states restricting indoor dining to limited amounts of seating, the company can not survive. I hear that my hometown just lost two locations during the pandemic. The Beavercreek location and south Dayton location are permanently closed. The only restaurant in the Dayton/Springfield area is located in Butler Township. It’s apparently running on 35% of the workers and no longer is allowing large gatherings.

2. Guitar Centers across the country are on the verge of going out of business. The music and entertainment supplier has been a mecca for musicians and record producers has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company missed a $45 million bond-interest payment last month and is piled on $1.3 billion in debt. The company believes COVID-19 has taken a toll on the company. Private equity has once again played a role in the destruction of companies. The private equity firm Ares Management and Brigade Capital Management worked with the Carlyle Group to dump billions on Guitar Center. The company can’t make its payment due to foot traffic rapidly decreasing due to COVID-19. The company has 300 stores in the United States and has state that it has no intentions of closing up locations at this time. But the writing is on the wall, Guitar Center is in deep trouble.

3. Family Video is also facing a deep crisis. The last operating video rental company in the United States and Canada is about to find itself like Blockbuster Video. The company has quietly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as well. The company based in Glenview, Illinois is considered an endangered species. The company is facing off against Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Peacock, CBS All Access, DC Universe, Disney+, and Tubi. Many streaming sites have siphoned off DVD and VHS rental companies. Also with the rise of AppleTV+, YouTube TV and Facebook TV, the video rental industry has taken a huge nosedive in sales. About five locations in the Dayton area are slated to close before the end of 2020. Huber Heights, Fairborn, Xenia and Springfield are closing their locations. The company even tried selling CBD products to at least mingle in the cannabis market.

4. Tuesday Morning stores are also fading away. The knick knack stories are usually a place for people to find rare and unique items that you couldn’t find in the main stores. Tuesday Morning offered that. During the pandemic, it quietly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and it has planned on closing 230 stores. As an off-price retailer, the company has decided to find underperforming stores to be the first ones to go. Like many companies the store had furloughed thousands of employees and temporarily closed locations. I guess that temporary closing is permanent for the ones on the chopping block.

This is the results of President Donald J. Trump’s failure to handle the pandemic. He literally has spent more time trying to undermine the election than focus on the millions of Americans who may lose their jobs, their livelihoods and their lives to this dangerous disease.

With over 300,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus, it’s almost criminal for Trump to even be in power.

Biden will enter the White House with dozens of crises. From a partisan Congress to a pandemic, Biden will be dogged throughout his presidency with distractions.

The biggest crisis Biden will face is trying to repair the damage that Trump left him.

It’s a shame that these companies are dying. Those poor workers who may have supported Trump and believed him as the savior to the world’s problems should regret their decision to vote for him.

72 million idiots voted for this crap and now the rest of the world has to pay for it.
