President-elect Joe Biden sprained his foot after he was playing with his dog.

The president-elect had no obvious fracture during an examination. 

Biden suffered the injury on Saturday and visited an orthopedist at Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists in Newark, Delaware on Sunday.

According to a statement from his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, Biden sustained a sprain of his right foot and while “initial X-rays are reassuring that there is no obvious fracture,” the president-elect will be receiving a CT scan for further review.

Reporters covering the president-elect were not afforded the opportunity to see Biden enter the doctor’s office, despite pleas from those in the travel pool. Obviously, these idiots can’t enter a facility with COVID-19 spikes in the state of Delaware. Why put folks at risk just to see the president-elect enter a doctor’s office for a minor sprain?

Biden’s dog Major will be the first in four years to one of the First pets. He is a rescue dog and Biden said that he will bring their other dog, Champ and their cat to the White House.

The Bidens will not have their children staying at the White House.

Joseph Robinette Biden II will be the oldest president inaugurated to office. He replaces Donald J. Trump and Ronald W. Reagan as the oldest serving president. 

The Democratic Party is the party of firsts. From Barack Obama’s remarkable two terms to Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) becoming the vice-president elect, Blacks have found solace with the Democrats over Republicans.

Trump can at least did slightly better than George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney when it comes to Black votes. Out of the 15% of the Black vote, Trump managed to pull in 11% of Black men and 4% of Black women.

The president-elect will be wearing a boot for several weeks.
