Byron Donalds Got His Black Card From The GOP!

The Party of Stupid got another member in the waiting. Byron Donalds, a Black Republican will join the U.S. House of Representatives.

Outgoing Rep. Francis Rooney (R-FL) has a successor. 

While we were talking about the incoming white nationalists joining the ranks of the House and Senate, I happened to catch the news of a Black Republican winning his election to become a member of the House of Representatives.

The successor is the African American. He will be a person to watch in the coming year. The Republicans and especially the outgoing president, Donald J. Trump will exploit this guy for their pathetic attempts to court Black voters. This freshman will be aligned with the "Party of Stupid" or perhaps we should say the "Party of White Nationalists."

Rep-elect Bryon Donalds (R-FL) is going to be the first Black Republican from Florida to become a member of the House of Representatives. Donalds is going to be the U.S. Representative for the 19th District.

The 42-year old Donalds fended off a large Republican primary and beaten the Democrat who ran against him. 

His win was quick.

The hip-hop Republican. Donalds says Trump carries a lot of swag with Black voters.

The district he represents is predominantly white. The district has a 85 percent white and 51 percent female population.The local newspaper, Naples Daily News says Donalds’ victory is quite a feat. He is an African American conservative Republican.

Donalds said his humble upbringing in New York City is the best preparation for the halls of Congress.
"What prepared me for politics was actually growing up in the streets," Donalds said. "You got to be able to assess everybody fast, make a quick decision. [And] you always have to watch your back."

Well it comes as no surprise that African American turnout was very high this election year.

It was well enough for Joe Biden to cross the threshold to become the 46th President of the United States. Biden didn't carry most of the Black vote. He managed to pull only 85% of the vote. Trump did carry only 15% of the vote. He got 11% of the Black male and 4% of the Black women vote.

Donalds credits Trump's gains with Black voters to his "swag" and said Republican House members will need to channel that attitude to effectively take on the House Democratic Squad. Trump made inroads with the Black community not just because of pre-coronavirus economic gains, but also because of his confident nature, Donalds said.
"In the Black community, swag is a factor," Donalds told Fox News. "Love him or hate him, the man's got swag. He knows what he wants. He doesn't apologize for it. And he's going to go get it."

He mused that a GOP counter group should have a cool name, like Voltron or the Thundercats -- a nod to the action figures -- but first, he needs to see if his fellow Republicans could pull it off.
"I gotta see if my colleagues have enough swag to do that," Donalds quipped. "I love my colleagues, but you know swag is the thing. If you want to have, you know, credibility in the street. You got to be able to walk the walk."
