What Happened To Oluwatoyin Salau?

Florida woman who protested against violence towards people of color became a victim of it.
A Florida woman who has been an activist with Black Lives Matter goes missing. She posts some ominous remarks about an encounter.

The hashtag #JusticeforToyin started popping up after the Florida State Police found the body of 19-year old Oluwatoyin "Toyin" Salau. They also found the body of Victoria Sims, a 75-year old woman who also went missing that same week.

The state authorities and the feds arrested a 49-year old man who is considered the prime suspect in their deaths.

Salau and Sims bodies were found in a Tallahassee neighborhood over the weekend.
Toyin Salau was just recently protesting the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd.
A motive has not been reported by Tallahassee Police, and it's not clear if the women knew one another or the predator knew them.

Salau was active in anti-racist demonstrations in Tallahassee just before her death.

She said that she was sexually molested by an unidentified Black man earlier that morning after he offered to give her a ride to "someplace to sleep."

"He came disguised as a man of God," she said of the predator.

After the man molested her, he fell asleep. She fled his home to a place to call the law. She was unable to located his house again.
Victoria Sims was the other victim of this sexual predator.
Salau described the predator as a Black man in his mid-40s and driving a white Chevrolet Silverado truck. The general location was roughly three miles from where her body was recovered.

The predator was quickly fingered after a woman told the law that he assaulted her after she turned down his proposition for sex while they were drinking back in May. He was charged with aggravated battery and released on bond June 3, three days before Salau said she was assaulted. The predator was arrested again on June 9 -- the day that Salau went missing. Police couldn't speak on the matter.

The other victim, Sims was a retired state worker who volunteered for AARP. She was a mother and grandmother.
This monster killed two women in Florida.
She was last seen on June 11, roughly a mile from where her body was found. Her vehicle was reported missing.

The suspect will face capital murder charges. Besides that, it may include rape, kidnapping, sexual battery, assault, improper disposal of a corpse, witness tampering, destroying evidence and previous charges. The murder charge in Florida is the DEATH CARD if convicted. He could get LIFE in the iron college.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
