Kayden with his then husband Elijah and daughter. His husband accepted his transition from woman to a man.
"I do enjoy parts of being pregnant like the fact it makes my beard thicker. But I don't get the same pregnancy privileges because it is not obvious that I'm carrying a child, people just assume it's a beer belly, so people don't give up their seat for me or hold doors open. Even growing up as a girl, I hated my chest. I never wanted to wear a bra and I knew that even if I didn't transition I would have a reduction. But I never had bottom surgery because it's expensive, there are often a lot of complications with it and it can numb things sexually."

He added, "I've never been scared of backlash because at the end of the day until these people are paying my bills or putting food on my table their opinions are just that."

He said that his daughter Azaelia is the best thing in the world.
Kayden is proud to be a father to his daughter Azaelia.
"When Azaelia was born there were a lot of people who said they felt sorry for her and that she would grow up and be confused. They said that she should be taken away and called me a 'monster.'"

Kayden had faced scrutiny from anti-LGBTQ agitators. They believe that he's exploiting the meaning of family.

He has brushed off the critics and said that parenting isn't a gender issue, it's a family issue.

"We don't really have any issues when we're out with Azaelia. People just see two men and a baby because it's not outwardly apparent that I carried her in my womb."

Pregnancy is possible for transgender men who retain a functioning vagina, ovaries, and a uterus.
Kayden and his new boyfriend Dominique announced they're going to be proud parents.
Regardless of prior hormone replacement therapy treatments, the progression of pregnancy and birthing procedures are typically the same as those of cisgender women. However, trans men who carry pregnancies are often subjected to a variety of negative, social, emotional, and medical experiences, as pregnancy is regarded as an exclusively feminine or female activity. According to the study "Transgender Men Who Experienced Pregnancy After Female-to-Male Gender Transitioning" by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, there is a lack of awareness, services, and medical assistance available to pregnant trans men.

Inaccessibility to these services may lead to difficulty in finding comfortable and supportive services concerning prenatal care, as well as an increased risk for unsafe or unhealthy practices. Additionally, the study also exposed that some individuals reported having gender dysphoria and feelings of isolation due to the drastic changes in appearance which occur during pregnancy, such as enlarged breasts, and due to changes in public reception of their gender identity. Researchers also found that prior use of testosterone did not affect pregnancy.
