Tim Scott Tap Dancing On Police Reform!

Tim Scott gambles with political future. He is working on police reform. This is an issue Republicans ain't really concerned about.

The only Black Republican senator is trying to convince his party to back him on police reform.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is tap dancing around the issue. Unlike Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), the Republican senator has trouble trying to round up support for his legislation on police reform.

In the wake of five high profile incidents involving people of color being killed by police and vigilantes, five incidents of Black men being hung from trees, four weeks of unrest because of the George Floyd tragedy and countless months of the COVID-19 pandemic, Donald J. Trump and Republicans are boxed into a corner. They have no freaking clue on how to solve these issues.

So they line up Scott and probably Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) as the only "saviors" to Trump's disgraceful legacy.

The South Carolina senator is leading the Republican Party's efforts to be the "first" to do something about police reform.

Scott didn't outline many specifics of what he believe could be included in a comprisme plan he proposed on GOP Sundays. While on Meet The Press, Scott acknowledged the difficulties in setting a top-down approach and called fro the government to collect more date on police use of force and misconduct to help guide a decision.

"Is there a path forward that we can take to look at the necessity of eliminating bad behavior within our law enforcement community? Is there a path forward? I think we'll find that," Scott said.

Scott is proposing the Justice Act. This act proposes incentives. It includes a ban on chokeholds, more disclosure requirements about the use of force and no-knock warrants and penalties for false reports. It also includes emergency grants programs for body cameras, making lynching a federal crime and create a commission to study the conditions facing Black men and boys.

I call that BS.

First things first, you need to take military weapons out of the hands of police. Second, you need to look at white men and boys. They are inspired to hate people and they're likely to join the military, the police departments and politics.

They should offer remedies to solutions instead of arrest on sight. So if I am drunk but not operating a vehicle on the public roads, I should have an opportunity to just be able to park my vehicle and go home.

Kamala Harris and Cory Booker have already proposed police reform. Tim Scott said his fellow Republicans won't support it.

I think we need to eliminate private prisons, decriminalize prostitution, fire racist and bigoted cops, stop the police unions from dictating who's a good cop or a bad cop.

I want cops to stop using their emergency lights to bypass traffic jams. I want them to stop running lights and speeding on a public roads. They seem to get away with that stuff but I can't.

Mind you that Trump is not willing to sign off anything that undermine his views on law enforcement. Trump and conservatives believe police are under attack.

They don't resonate with Black Lives Matter. They believe the organization doesn't care about intraracial issues. They line up Black fascists like Candace Owens, Jesse Lee Peterson, Terrence K Williams, Diamond & Silk, Kevin Jackson, Larry Elder and Brandon Tatum as "experts" on Black culture. They give cover to the white extremists.

Scott has little backing from Republicans. Obviously, he will face opposition from Democrats because it doesn't go far enough. But who will hurt the bill the most is Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

Paul has opposed many legislative attempts to reform the police and ban lynching.

Of course, Jeffery Shaun King is promoting these figures as saviors while ignoring the Democrats working diligently on passing reform. \

Last month, they exposed Shaun King for being a fraud. Yet, he still has a platform. He needs to go away and I would love to see this trainwreck.
