St. Louis retired police captain David Dorn was killed in a robbery during the nights of unrest. |
Four bad cops killed George Floyd. The bad cops killed a good guy. So in retaliation or unintended circumstances, a bad guy kills a good cop.
A retired police captain was fatally shot and killed during a night of unrest in St. Louis.
He was passionate about helping young people and would have forgiven those affected by the violence in St. Louis.
Four officers were shot in St. Louis during the three nights of unrest. And of course, a retired St. Louis police officer who was working as security for a local pawn shop lost his life to gun violence.
David Dorn, 77, was killed while responding to an alarm at a pawnshop overnight on Monday.
The St. Louis Police Department announced in news conference.
Of all of the incidents in America, Donald J. Trump chose to honor the death of Dorn on his social media. He doesn't give two fucks about the lives lost because of gun violence. He doesn't care about people killed during the unrest nor those who suffered injuries. It's a political ploy to generate Black sympathy.
Our highest respect to the family of David Dorn, a Great Police Captain from St. Louis, who was viciously shot and killed by despicable looters last night. We honor our police officers, perhaps more than ever before. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/0ouUpoJEQ4— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 3, 2020
CNN affiliate KTVI reported that Dorn had been killed around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, dying on the sidewalk in front of the pawn store he had been providing security for.
St. Louis Regional Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000.00 for any information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
He served his community with honor. |
Dorn had been passionate about helping young people, Powell said, and he believed his father would have forgiven those behind the violence and tried to talk to them.
"Because he was real big on trying to talk to youth. And mentoring young people as well. He tried to get them on the straight and narrow and everything," Powell told KTVI.
"The person who pulled the trigger, my message to them would just simply be, just step back from what you're doing. Know the real reason that you're protesting. Let's do it in a positive manner. We don't have to go out and loot and do all the other things," Powell said.
Powell's reflections were echoed in a tweet by the Ethical Society of Police, which read, "(Dorn) was murdered by looters at a pawnshop. He was the type of brother that would've given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it's a citizen or officer. RIP Captain!"
"May he rest in peace. May the truth about his murderers come to light. And may he not have his name dragged into your vicious, evil games."
Dorn had retired from the St. Louis City Police Department in 2007, KTVI reported, and later became police chief at Moline Acres. Retired St. Louis City Police officer David Ellison told the station that Dorn had helped him out of poverty and into a life as a police officer.
"Dave Dorn was a great man. He was fair -- the sharpest, cleanest guy," he said.
Powell said that his father couldn't stay retired after he left the city force. "Police work ran through his veins."
The status quo of the gun culture. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence!
Americans trying to protect their properties from looters are often met with violence and possible death. |
They learn how to use firearms from watching (or listening) to gangsta rap.
They watch violent movies.
They don't have fathers or mothers in their lives and it results in them committing criminal acts.
Look at his history with police....
Look at his history with police....
Blah, blah, blah...
Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.
David's life mattered. |
NICE GUYS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS WITH A FIREARM.
THE NICE GUY GETS SPURNED BY SOCIETY. THEY TAKE REVENGE ON SOCIETY.
RESTRAINING ORDERS ARE JUST A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WILL NOT (I REPEAT) STOP A "MAD" INDIVIDUAL FROM OBTAINING A FIREARM.
Don't you just want to scream!?
Scream in the faces of these damn lawmakers whenever they offer their "thoughts and prayers" to every fucking mass shooting in the United States. They will offer their condolences and say a word vomit how they sympathize with the deceased. Some here will tell us that "now isn't the time to talk." Others will say that "the NRA has too much influence on gun laws."
We will talk about this for a few days and then we're off to another controversy. The next controversy would either be something done by Trump, a politician, an entertainer or we will experience another mass shooting. The next mass shooting will be even worse than the last one.
I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."
Every time these folks offer "thoughts and prayers," "their condolences," "their hearts going out to," and "their apologies," they are not sincere. For every naming of a road, park, bench, building and holiday, it won't matter to the community. For every time they lower flags, offer moments of silence and candlelight vigils, we just offer "feel good-isms."
The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.
Protesters torched businesses in St. Louis during the nights of unrest. The city and St. Louis County has a troubled history of police violence. |
Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.
Protests will continue in the United States. |
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
THERE IS NO GOD!
GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS!
We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.
Every poll that I put out has some stupid ass troll picking the most dumbest answers. So don't be surprised if the polls will have a troll.
Do we need to reflect on our gun culture and race relations in the United States?
The suspects who killed him will be charged with murder, aggravated homicide and theft of property.
The charges in Missouri could carry the DEATH card if the individuals are caught.
The charges in Missouri could carry the DEATH card if the individuals are caught.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
You are warned, do not use the services of (Jeffery) Shaun King. Please avoid this individual. He doesn't represent Black Lives Matter in anyway.
