Remember Jennifer Mee "The Hiccup Girl"?

Distraught: Jennifer Mee breaks down in court at a November hearing. In an interview released today she tearfully denied any part in a 2010 murder
Florida woman best known as the "Hiccup Girl" has a murder trial in May. The woman, Jennifer Mee was responsible for setting up a young man in a botched robbery that led to his murder. Mee, her boyfriend and another friend are facing life in the iron college if they're found guilty.

The young woman who was famous sometime back in 2007 for uncontrollable hiccups (Tourette's syndrome) is facing trial for murder. Jennifer Mee, Laron Raiford and her then boyfriend Lamont Newton were involved in a robbery/murder of Shannon Griffin, a young man who met Mee on Facebook.

Laron Raiford
Laron Raiford.
Mee denies that she set the young man up, but the court found otherwise.

Shannon Griffin was a survivor of the devastating Hurricane Katrina of 2005. Griffin moved with his mother to St. Petersburg from Mississippi. He was working and attending a local college. He apparently heard of the young woman through friends and the social networks. Mee arranged Griffin to meet her at a dope spot and the two men Raiford and Newton were to rob him of his stuff. Griffin put up a fight and one of the men shot him and killed him.

Mee is going to face the judge in May. She may take a plea deal to get a reduced sentence. Right now, if she is convicted for her role in murder, Mee will spend the rest of her life in prison.

Mee was then a 15-year old girl who was making the media circuit for a rare condition that caused repetitive and painful hiccups. Her parents tried to get her all the remedies to stop them, but to no avail.

Lamont Newton
Lamont Newton.
She managed to become the talk of the nation. Her famous interview on NBC Today gain millions of supporters wishing her well. She even got the opportunity to get a hug from Country music star Keith Urban.

Doctors found medication and therapy to help control the hiccups. For the most part, Mee was "cured" of her hiccups. But there lies the dark side of Jennifer Mee.

Mee was a rebellous teenager. She would often run away to live with her boyfriend Lamont Newton, a known dope boy.

She would post that "she was the Gangsta Boo of TBSP (Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg)".

Often on her social networking profiles, Mee would be seen showing mild raunchy of herself as well some pictures of her smoking the kush and drinking.

Laron Raiford and Newton lived in the neighborhood that Mee was to arrange this set up.

Newton wanted to get his girlfriend to lure her "date" to the house. They ended with this plan going wrong.

Mee initially tried to say that it's the fault of Raiford. She claimed that Griffin knew Raiford's previous girlfriend and the jealous boyfriend was going to beat the crap out of him.
Victim: Shannon Griffin
Shannon Griffin, the young man who was gunned down by Lamont Newton and Laron Raiford.
But the police got her to confess to being the bait for a robbery. Now that reckless behavior got her now fearing the shine will fade and the life will be surrounded by "BARS". Trust me, Mee fears going to the iron college.

But do you actually think she is not at fault for her role in Shannon Griffin's murder?
Then a teenager, the world showed sympathy to a young girl who could never cease the constant hiccups.
I mean she can say that she fell with the "wrong crowd" and "she didn't do this" in the face of the camera, but the truth is that she's cold-hearted and doesn't seem to care about the many lives that she's ruined in that night.

Hopefully, justice will be served and we here at Journal de la Reyna believe that Jennifer Mee, Lamont Newton and Laron Raiford deserve a fair trial. We believe if they're to be found guilty in this murder, they should spent the rest of their lives in the iron college.

Currently the three are currently incarcerated in the Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater, Florida.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Shannon Griffin.

Teens Caught In GA Baby's Murder!

Innocence lost.

Two teenagers one being 17-years old and the other being 14-years old are charged with first degree murder in the death of an innocent toddler. We at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Antonio Santigo-West, the little innocent child lost in this unbelievable tragedy.

It was reported that this wasn't the first time mother Sherry West lost a family member. Her older son was 18 years old when he was murdered in New Jersey.

CNN reports that the two teen boys in this coastal city were caught Friday, accused in the fatal shooting of a 13-month-old boy who was in a stroller being pushed by his mother.

Aided by a description and a check of school attendance records to determine who was not in classes Thursday, officers searched for the young suspects and took them into custody, police said.
The mother told reporters the shooting occurred when one youth demanded money.

Police expressed confidence they would find the weapon, believed to be a handgun.

Spokesman Todd Rhodes, who described the shooting as "horrific," told CNN's "The Situation Room" on Friday evening that search warrants were being executed in three locations.

Chief Tobe Green identified the older suspect as De'Marquise Elkins, 17, and said he will be treated as an adult in criminal proceedings. The 14-year-old was not identified because of his age. Both have been charged with first-degree murder, police said.

"We are turning every stone to get a motive," said Green.

Police said they received a suspect description from Sherry West, the baby's mother.

No other suspects are being sought, according to Rhodes.

De'Marquise Elkins
Authorities were tight-lipped about the investigation, which was aided by helicopters and police dogs.

West earlier told reporters that the incident occurred at 9 a.m. Thursday as she was walking home from the post office, pushing her son, Antonio, in a stroller. She said she saw two boys.

"A boy approached me and told me he wanted my money, and I told him I didn't have any money. And he said, 'Give me your money or I'm going to kill you and I'm going to shoot your baby and kill your baby,' and I said, 'I don't have any money,' and 'Don't kill my baby.'"

The boy tried to grab her purse and opened fire when she said tried to tell him she had no money, West said, with the shot grazing her head. She said the boy then shot her in the leg.

West continued, "And then, all of a sudden, he walked over and he shot my baby in the face."

West said she tried to perform CPR on her son and that the police took over when they arrived, but to no avail. "We lost him," she said.

During the incident, the smaller of the two boys was hiding behind the larger one, she said. "I don't know whether it was his brother or a friend."

West had said she hopes the boys will receive the maximum sentence possible. "If they can use a gun like an adult, then they can be charged like an adult," she said. "I want to see lethal injection or at least life in prison. This child did nothing to him. He was innocent and helpless."

Louis Santiago, father of the baby, told CNN later Friday: "I'm doing OK. I'm holding on."

Police offered a $10,000 reward for information and have received more than 30 leads. They were still following them Friday afternoon.

Though no one has reported seeing the shooting, several people called 911 after hearing it, Rhodes said.

Rhodes said crime is not common in the residential neighborhood where West said her child was shot. "It's a nice area, it's a clean area, it's an area where law-abiding citizens not only live, they also work and play.

"Much like every other city in these United States, from time to time we will have a glitch. Unfortunately, this happened here in Brunswick, Georgia."

The city's website describes Brunswick, with a population of about 15,000, as "one of the most unique, historic and visually stunning places in the world." It boasts 19th century Victorian-style homes, century-old oaks and magnolia tree-lined streets.

CNN's Nick Valencia reported from Brunswick and Tom Watkins and Phil Gast reported and wrote from Atlanta. CNN's Chandler Friedman, Jim Kavanagh and Dave Alsup contributed to this report.

Teens Shoot And Kill Georgia Baby!

A picture of the little victim of a shooting in Brunswick, Georgia.

Apparently two young children tried to rob the victim's mother. They ended up shooting the baby. The baby died of a gunshot wound to the head. The shooter was apparently 10 to 14 years old. The shooter is still on the loose. It's in the state of Georgia in the city of Brunswick.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to Antonio Santiago-West, the little life lost in this unbelievable tragedy.

Again, where is the lawmakers on the gun control debate?

Still trying to win reelection in states that may change the dynamics of firearm safety. They fear the onslaught of attacks from the National Rifle Association, Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News.

So far over 10,000 people die a week in firearm deaths. It's just not enough to say that it's a "SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT" to own a firearm. It's a "EIGHT AMENDMENT RIGHT" to prevent cruel and unusual punishment.

The Republicans (and conservative Democrats) are stubborn on gun control. Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada, Majority Leader) fears the NRA. He gains high marks for gun support. But since his majority is at stake once again in a midterm election, the Democratic Majority Leader is trying to halt all bills until 2015.

Senators from the West and South who are Democrats and House members from the South are likely going to take the bullet if the WHITE MAN gets riled up enough to pull them out of power.

But yet they'll allow Congressman Steve Stockman (R-Texas), Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma), Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) calling for more guns and less restrictions.

CNN reports the mother, Sherry West was taking her 13-month-old son for a walk in this Georgia town when they were approached by two boys who demanded money, then fatally shot her boy and wounded her.

"He said, 'I'm gonna kill you if you don't give me your money,' and I said, 'I swear, I don't have any,'" Sherry West told CNN affiliate WAWS. "I put my arms over my baby and he shoves me and he shot my baby right in the head."

Both boys then ran into a residential neighborhood of this seaside Georgia town some 30 miles north of Florida, she told police.

Police responding to a 911 call found the baby shot dead and his mother with a leg wound.

The mother told reporters she was pushing her son in a stroller around 9 a.m. Thursday when she was approached by the two boys. One appeared to be 13 to 15 years of age while the other was as young as 10, she said.

Authorities were checking attendance records Friday at schools in an attempt to identify suspects.
City Manager Bill Weeks said no other witnesses have come forward.

"But why my little one?" asked Louis Santiago, the father, in an interview with WAWS. "You know, you should have just taken the pocketbook and go."

No weapon has been recovered, Police Chief Tobe Green told reporters.

Police have offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the killer.

Asked about what angles authorities were pursuing, police spokesman Todd Rhodes said, "Anything and everything."

"This is obviously just a terrible day in the city of Brunswick," Mayor Bryan Thompson told reporters on Thursday, "and made even more terrible by the senseless killing of a young child. And it appears perpetrated by children themselves."

White Supremacist Kills Colorado Prison Director!

Evan Ebel
Disguised as a pizza delivery driver, a White supremacist shoots and kills the Colorado Prison Director in cold blood.

There was a huge break in the case of the murder of a Colorado Department of Corrections director.

The shooter was gravely injured in a firefight with the Texas state troopers after members of law enforcement tied him to the shooting of an officer.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our prayers to the law enforcement officer and condolences to the victims of this week's new tragedy.

While it's been said over and over, I think no one is listening. The extremism is on the rise. White males who harbor conservative views are trending in hate of someone's race, gender, sexuality, nationality, education, religion, political and economic standings.

They are riled up by conservative agitators in the media. The outlets that provide rage for the White nationalist movement include: The Drudge Report, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, Michael Savage, The Fox Nation and Breitbart. These are primary examples of aiding and abetting hate crimes.
Thomas Clements, the chief of corrections.
Evan Spencer Ebel, age 28 is likely to die of his injuries after a shootout with Texas State Police.

Apparently, Ebel is tied to the ambush killing of Colorado Department of Correction head Tom Clements.

The man who led Texas authorities on a 100 mph car chase and may be linked to two Colorado murders, including that of Department of Corrections director Tom Clements, has been identified.

Various media outlets including The Associated Press and The Denver Post have confirmed that man is 28-year-old Evan Spencer Ebel, a parolee in the Denver metro area.

The Denver Post also reports that Ebel may have been a member of a white supremacist prison gang, the 211s.

Colorado Department of Corrections spokeswoman Alison Morgan said Ebel has a lengthy criminal record and was paroled but would not release further information because of the ongoing investigation.

Authorities are still investigating whether Ebel was linked to Clements' slaying and the Sunday night killing of 27-year-old Nathan Leon, a Denver Domino's pizza delivery man.

Authorities say that that Ebel is hooked up to equipment for organ harvesting, and is brain dead.

"We don't know yet exactly whether this is the guy," Gov. John Hickenlooper told reporters Thursday afternoon. "There's some indication. I hope it is."

Rush Limbaugh Thinks Beyonce Knows Her Place!

Jay-Z and Beyonce at the U.S. Capitol in 2012 for the presidential inauguration.

After a few years off, it seems that it's time for a huge comeback. Pop singer Beyonce Knowles (aka Mrs. Carter) has decided to throw a new single out there. Beyonce went on a hiatus to become a first time mother to her child Blue Ivy.

The release of her new single Bow Down (I Been On) is bringing on a new moniker: Queen Bey!

That new single got "Bey" singing raunchy. And that raunchy got the attention of conservative agitators.

Que the controversial lyrics

I know when you were little girls
You dreamt of being in my world
Don’t forget it , don’t forget it
Respect that, bow down bitches
I took some time to live my life
But don’t think I’m just his little wife
Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted
This my shit, bow down bitches
---------------------
Rolling high, leather and wood
Keep it trill, that's what good
Kiss my momma, show that love
Pop them bottles in that club
I heard your boo was talking lip
I told my crew to smack that trick
Smack that trick, smack that trick
Guess what they did, smack that trick

If you didn't know that Beyonce and her husband, rapper Jay-Z are the hugest supporters of President Barack Obama. They were big donors to the president's reelection campaign. Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) came through to assist in capturing the youth vote.

Jay-Z, the media mogul and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records has been the crosshairs of conservative agitators since he announced his support for the president. One in particular was really irritated that Jay-Z having an opportunity to own a sports team. He found it to be hypocritical for the rapper getting a share in the Brooklyn Nets. The conservative agitator was fumed that the NFL turned down his interest in the St. Louis Rams.

When the Blueprint III came out, Jay-Z went into a verse in which he dissed two conservative agitators who said his name on their programs.

This ain't black vs. white, my nigga we off that
Please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back
Tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my balls
It's 2010, not 1864
Uhh, yeah we come so far
So I drive around town, hard top and it's off
Uhh, in my TriBeCa loft
With my high brow art, and my high yellow broad
Uhh, and my dark-skinned sis
In my best white mate, say what's up to Chris
Uhh, how's that for a mix?
Got a black president, got green presidents
"Blueprint's" in my white iPod
Black diamonds in my Jesus piece, my God
Uhh, we ain't tripping off that
This a Benetton ad, nigga been up off that, uhh

Rush Limbaugh says Beyoncé is encouraging women to be subservient to their spouses in "Bow Down."
The most unhippest talk radio host thinks Beyonce's song is a declaration of being a sideline hoe!

Well I guess the conservative agitator and allies think that it's not fair for a controversial figure like Jay-Z to get a sports team. So in order to rile up the conservative/white supremacist bubble, they'll keep bringing up him and Beyonce every time there's a controversy.

So what's today on the agenda, a controversy involving Beyonce (by which it's an attack on Jay-Z).

The New York Daily News got wind of the conservative agitator's decision to be a music critic. Que, the statement: "She got married, she married the rich guy, she now understands -- she now understands it's worth it to bow down."

Media Matters for America puts it down on tape and puts the video out there!

Okay, where does the single fit into the mindset of this guy?

Beyoncé, who has gone on record as a feminist in the past, might not agree with Limbaugh's interpretation of her single.

"I love being a woman and I love being a friend to other women," the superstar said in an interview with The Daily Mail in 2010. "I think we learn a lot from our female friends — female friendship is very, very important."

Apparently a washed up singer got to say her verse of disgust. Que Keyshia Cole, the singer who went on to become a reality star on Black Entertainment Television.

"First 'Women need to Stick together' now b-----s better Bow. Smh.

To those who aren't hip to hip-hop music and those who sing the R & B racket, hate all you want! But Beyonce can sing and make money. You sit on the sidelines with your mouth pouting!

She and Jay-Z aren't Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. They make money without being on camera.

You can complain about her performance at the Superbowl or the Presidential Inauguration all you want!

She's making money and the fans don't have a problem with it! So let you haters hate!

Beyonce keep getting the money!

Conservative agitators are sore that you helped Barack Obama stay in the White House.

Beyonce appears on Columbia Records/Sony Music Group.
Jay-Z appears on Roc-A-Fella Records.

K.C. Mayor Upstaged By Ignorant Black Constituent!

Man makes himself the news when he jumped the stage during a State of the City Address by Kansas City mayor Sly James. The protester Derron Black is a perennial candidate who lost many races. But this week's outburst may help put him with those in the Tea Party Movement. He needs advice from Congressman Joe Wilson (R-South Carolina).

Kansas City, Missouri is the largest city in the state. It's population is 472,000 and it's growing. The city covers four counties and the neighboring sister Kansas City, Kansas. The region covers the western end of Missouri and portions of eastern Kansas.

The city is home of the Kansas City Royals baseball team and Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL team still grieving over the horrible decision made by Jovan Belcher, a teammate who killed his former girlfriend and then himself.

The city is famous for barbecue, jazz, blues and the beautiful landscapes. And you can add an ignorant Black man to the city's fame.

Well today, it's reported that mayor Sly James was rattled by an angry constituent.

The mainstream media was taken back by the abrupt interruption by the man who knocked down the flagpole and stole the microphone.

He managed to get a few swears in before he was taken down by security.

The man who allegedly disrupted Kansas City Mayor Sly James’ State of the City speech on Tuesday was charged Wednesday with two misdemeanors.

Derron Black's mugshot from the lockup!
The Kansas City Star reports that Derron L. Black, 31, was charged with third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and with obstructing government operations, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.

As the mayor was giving his speech before an audience of about 250 people at the Gem Theater, a man went on stage and commandeered the microphone. The court file alleges that when the mayor’s police-provided bodyguard, Marlon Buie, grabbed him, Black resisted Buie by punching and swinging his arms.

Buie suffered a cut on his neck and bruising on his arm. He was treated at North Kansas City Hospital on Tuesday.

Black posted bond on Wednesday and was released from jail. He could not be reached for comment.

According to the court record, Black acknowledged in a statement to police that he interrupted the mayor by throwing a flag to the floor and yelling obscenities.

On Tuesday night, a statement was posted on YouTube that purported to be an apology from Black.

“This is Derron Black,” the audio segment said, adding that he was in the jail at police headquarters. “I’m just reflecting on all today’s events, and I would just like to apologize to all my fellow Kansas Citians for being disrespectful and disruptive today.”

The statement went on to challenge James “about the true reality of the condition of the people east of Troost or just throughout Kansas City in general.”

The mayor was not harmed and went on to finish his speech, which tried to highlight progress in the city over the past year.

Black was an unsuccessful candidate last year for a seat representing Missouri House District 23.

Ohio Teen Sentenced For 2012 High School Massacre! [NSFW]

No remorse for mass shooter being sentenced. T.J. Lane, 18 will spend the remainder of his life in the iron college.
While on hiatus from blogging, in February 2012, a terrible thing happened in the village of Chardon, Ohio.

The little town which is 30 miles from Cleveland, Ohio was the center of a horrible tragedy. A deranged teen named T.J. Lane went on a rampage at his high school. He committed a mass shooting on his fellow classmates.

Many of his former classmates described the teen as a "sociopath" who had tendencies to harm others.

Three male students died within the two days following the incident. Two other students were hospitalized: one of whom sustained several serious injuries requiring extensive rehabilitation, the other with a minor injury. The seriously injured victim will be in a wheelchair for life. A sixth student sustained a superficial wound.

Tj Lane
I know what I was doing! - T.J. Lane gives victim's families a parting shot.
The weapon Lane used in the shooting was a .22 caliber handgun. At an initial court hearing, the prosecutor revealed that he admitted to shooting 10 rounds of ammunition from the gun during the shooting, which began in the school cafeteria at approximately 7:30 a.m., shortly after school began. Although Lane told police that he did not know the victims and that they were chosen randomly, witnesses stated that it appeared he targeted a specific student and the group he was sitting with in the cafeteria.

This was the first mass shooting in 2012, post Gabrielle Giffords. This launched into numerous shootings. Aurora, Colorado, the Wisconsin Sikh Temple, Clackamas Town Center, Chicago gang violence, Sandy Hook, and Christopher Dorner all came into the spotlight since the shooting.
The shooter was sentenced to three life sentences.
Madman's paradise!
While the families expressed their sorrow, T.J. Lane basically rolled his eyes, and gave the family the finger.

He basically was in the court with a white t-shirt with the words KILLER on it.

He was basically doesn't give a well....you know!

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the families of this horrible massacre. Justice was served to this heartless monster and hopefully he regret that day he pulled the trigger.

He'll be spending his life in the iron college being someone's girlfriend!

Media Leaked Ohio Rape Victim's Name! [NSFW]

Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond were found guilty in rape of teenage girl. The media pities their sorrows!

There will be themes that are not suitable for the general readers. Please take discretion in reading this article.

Great! Get ready for the death threats and possible retaliation from those who believe the victim was at fault!

The victim was 16 years old, but to Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, it's another drunk teenager blaming the popular guys for her own reckless behavior.

So instead of bleeping out the name, they let the cameras roll on Ma'lik Richmond and Trent Mays apologizing to the victim. They said the teenager's name in front of cameras without the bleep.

We will not release the name of the victim. If you're that callous to find out the name, don't look here for it!

Now another huge controversy swarms CNN as well as Fox News and MSNBC.

Here how I see how they've judge the victim.

"The girl was drunk, she had it coming!"

Hence the term, "BLAME THE VICTIM".

"Oh, we have compassion for those two young men. They've never committed a crime. They were good students with good grades. Yeah, they may of had a few beers and Jell-O shots, but they've all consent to having sex with the girl. C'mon aren't we all young!"

Hence the term, "BLAME THE VICTIM!"

"You people shouldn't be so upset over this. I known hundreds of drunk teenagers who say they like to be fucked by that popular guy after drinking the alcohol!"

Hence the term, "BLAME THE VICTIM!"

"These poor boys. They were just doing things we did when we were teenagers!"

Hence the term, BLAME THE VICTIM!"

I really must admit this. The media really screwed up here! From the Sandy Hook massacre to the Steubenville rape trial, our American cable and broadcast news outlets failed at doing something simple: Reporting the news!

The Fox News Channel is always looking the next news sensation  Another controversy that would involve Black people will give the network a reason to blame President Barack Obama. The network always find someway to attack the victim. They've done it before in the Duke Lacrosse case and other rape stories. Some rape accusations are proven false and some proven true. But Fox News doesn't see that! They see the victim as another celebrity seeking attention whore! See how they've reacted to Trayvon Martin!
RAPE IS RAPE!
MSNBC is the second largest network. It's liberal-leaning commentary isn't immune from the repeated notions of "drunken teenager", "high school standouts" and leaking information about the victim's family.

CNN is the oldest guard of cable news. It's ratings are tanking. The straight news reporting is downgrading. You got to see the reactions from Candy Crowley and Poppy Harlow actually showed sympathy towards these rapists.

Now again. RAPE IS RAPE.

It doesn't matter who it is. If a person choose to sexually abuse a person with intentions of making the victim feel guilty, asking the victim to keep it to themselves, or threatening the victim with violence, it's rape!

Rape is a part of the human rights abuse that spreads globally. The United Nations is looking at this a global threat to the sanity of the world. The United States isn't immune from sexual abuse of women, men, children and even animals.

From the victim's fellow peers!
The victim is death threats from former friends and the suspects' family members. Two 16-year-old females are in custody, suspected of making threats via Twitter against the victim the Steubenville, Ohio, rape case.

The entitlement society is catered to blaming the victim. It's not a Democrat or Republican thing!

People who seek attention by being a part of a gang/group or becoming a bully have this mentality to rape individuals.

What's going on with our children?

The parents who allowed this party to go on should be charged with allowing underage drinking.

The teenagers who photographed the girl naked and posting those pictures online should be charged with child pornography.

Those two individuals Ma'lik Richmond and Trent Mays should have been charged as adults. They drink like adults and acted adults when they've raped that girl! They should have been thrown in the adult iron college.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our prayers to the victim of this horrible tragedy. We hope that she could move forward with her life. We hope the best for her to succeed through the clouds of fear and emerge out stronger!

Minnesota Mom Loses RIAA Fight!

Minnesota mom gets shutdown by the U.S. Supreme Court in her fight against the RIAA.

Jammie Thomas became famous for being the first woman to be sued by the Recording Industry Association of America, for illegally downloading music off the internet's peer-to-peer sharing websites.

She along with if not millions of Americans shared or downloaded music online. Instead of paying $15 for a music CD, we just want the hottest singles from the entertainer. So we download it through online peer-to-peer sharing sites and download websites. It launched an ongoing battle against the music industry.

Nowadays, people are so fed up with the RIAA, the American people aren't buying the music or movies. It's been a slight slow down in downloading. But there's been a strong decline in music and movie sales.

Why pay over $20 for a movie? You can get it off the Pirate's Bay!

Why give these entertainers the luxury of stiffing us at concerts or snubbing our request for autographs?

This is how many Americans think of the entertainment industry. They believe most entertainers are too uptight and rally on controversy to stay relevant.

Jammie Thomas-Rasset is now 35 years old. Still owing the RIAA over $200,000 in legal royalties.

The woman was sued by the RIAA after they determined that music downloads were being used illegally.
Jammie Thomas-Rasset has become the first woman to be sued for $2 million by the RIAA.
The U.S. District Court in Minnesota found that Thomas-Rasset was found liable in damages and was ordered to pay $2 million. The damages were reduced to nearly $220, 000 after the court found it's ruling to too harsh.

Thomas didn't have the money and felt that she was singled out for something, millions of others do. She didn't sell the music illegally, she just listened to it on her computer. For nearly eight years, Thomas-Rasset fought this all the way to the Supreme Court.

Thomas-Rasset is a mother of four and of Native American decent. She lived in the community of Brainerd, Minnesota.

Married now, Thomas-Rasset was fighting this battle tooth and nail against an industry giant.

The Raw Story reported that her only opportunity to seek redemption was thrown out the window.

The U.S. Supreme Court dismissed the appeal from Thomas-Rasset.

Three trials and multiple appeals later, she has been ordered to pay amounts as high as $1.92 million — or $80,000 for each of 24 illegally downloaded tracks. After the third trial, at which the jury awarded the music companies $1.5 million, the amount was reduced on appeal to $220,000.

That’s the amount in damages Thomas-Rasset was originally ordered to pay after her first conviction, but the judge who presided over that trial threw out the verdict calling it “wholly disproportionate” and “oppressive.”

In the mid-2000s, the Recording Industry Association of America and major music labels brought suit against thousands of people for illegally downloading and sharing music, with most agreeing to settlements of between $3,000 and $5,000.

Thomas-Rasset, however, has consistently refused to settle the case.

Only one other defendant, Boston student Joel Tenenbaum, refused a settlement. Tenenbaum was ordered to pay $675,000, a fine the Supreme Court also refused to review in May 2012.

In December 2008, the RIAA said it will stop suing people who download music illegally and focus instead on getting Internet Service Providers to take action.

Back in 2009, Jammie Thomas-Rasset went to CBS to talk about her appeal.

My commentary from my days on YouTube.

A Rainbow That's All White!

Reince Priebus hoping to save what's left of a fractured GOP.

Reince Priebus is depressed. I mean he managed to help the Republicans retain the House of Representatives and many governorships. But he failed at retaining the U.S. Senate and the presidency.

Where Michael Steele managed to swept the Republicans back into the House of Representatives and bring forth Republicans to the state house and governorships. Republicans managed to obtain the power to redraw the congressional lines in which it gave them a stronger advantage.

But today, the Republican chairman is looking through the woods and hoping he'll find the rainbow of gold.

The Republican diversity tour is an utter disaster. The Black and Hispanic community detest the Republican Party. This year alone, Republicans have isolated themselves to be a party of "OLD WHITE IGNORANT MEN!"
Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. Two conservative agitators who said some pretty ignorant things about President Barack Obama and his allies in the progressive movement.
Perhaps we should call the Republicans, the party of cocaine! I mean they're on some powerful stuff. They're acting like junkies. Snorting the crap that dope peddlers in the conservative media selling them!

Cocaine is 90% WHITE and 10% OTHER. Just like the Republican Party.

This rebranding effort isn't going to save the Republicans. The party is too extreme. They fear the onslaught of retaliation by Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, Sarah Palin and the National Rifle Association.

They've engaged in this ongoing culture war against everyone including themselves. The Republicans don't know who to trust right now!

All they got left is pretty much the blame going to Barack Obama and the media for their continuous failures.

I got so many suggestions for the Republican Party, but I just couldn't contain myself from delivering my honest opinion about the rebranding of the national party. Here are some healthy and yet obvious suggestion to the ailing party.

1) Drop Fox News as a source of information.

2) Quit allowing conservative agitators (i.e. Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Michael Savage, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and others) rally a base of ignorance and idiocy. Their rhetoric helped Barack Obama win reelection.

3) Quit reading stuff from The Drudge Report, WorldNetDaily, InfoWars, Michelle Malkin, Hot Air, Free Republic, The Fox Nation, The Blaze, Newsbusters, The Daily Caller, and Breitbart. Half of the crap that comes from the conservative media is half-truths and misinformation.

4) Quit saying Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican.

5) Quit making comments about Black/Hispanics and other people of color being on welfare.

6) Quit screaming about the government being too big!

7) Drop the Ronald Reagan quotes, nostalgia and comparisons of past and present presidents. We're in the 21st Century. Reagan, Nixon, Ford were of the past century. Lincoln was two centuries ago. You got be in the present time.

8) Quit acting like your the party that favors "liberty", "freedom", and "patriotism". The Democrats are just like you in the "patriotic slogans". They believe in a society just like Republicans.

9) Compromise with the president and the Democratic Party on issues that matter.

10) Quit stalling the president's nominees. Never in American history has one president had such gridlock. The minority party has filibustered over a 100 of President Barack Obama's nominees. The recent filibuster by Rand Paul was the tipping point. All this ranting by Paul was over conspiracy theories. That's enough to have filibuster reform passed.

11) Don't undermine the moderate Republicans. They are the key to pulling in independents. If you knock Chris Christie, Rob Portman, Jon Huntsman, Susan Collins, Paul Kirk, and Dan Coates, they'll leave the party. They're the moderate Republicans who can help pass legislation that favors Republicans. They can negotiate with Democrats. Avoid purging the moderates.
The Republicans are searching for more than the white color in the rainbow.
12) Quit calling the president a "MUSLIM", "SOCIALIST", "COMMUNIST","MULATTO", "KENYAN", "NIGGER" and any other word vomit.

13) Quit blaming the media for the outrageous comments by those in the Republican Party.

14) Quit calling people who voted for President Barack Obama "misinformed", "low information voters" and "zombies".

15) Quit supporting losers like Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Ron Paul, Benjamin Carson, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, John McCain and whoever else you pull out the toilet. Pick candidates who can appeal to independents and Democrats. Don't waste your time on a presidential candidate who wants to stand in the limelight. That's probably why these fools were likely losers straight out the gate.

16) Give the LGBT community their right to marriage. Gay marriage isn't hurting anyone. They want to live their lives in union. Republicans drop the act of DOMA. Let the LGBT community have the right to marry.

17) Stop running on that silly narrative the president is doing a perceived harm upon this country. You can visit the White House website to find out policies, speeches and proposals. The president's agenda is public record as is his original birth certificate.

18) Stop pandering to religious extremists, white supremacists, racists, survivalists, and conspiracy kooks.

Sarah Palin makes Republicans look like idiots!
19) Get over the fact you've lost the election. There's nothing worse than being a sore loser! We understand the plight of being a loser. Democrats had Al Gore and John Kerry. They sucked. It's not Barack Obama's fault you lined up two perennial candidates who failed at winning the Republican nomination and presidency.

20) Stop being the party that's prehistoric. What the hell are you lining up? You lined up candidates who say it's "god's will to be raped!" You have candidates who refuse to acknowledge growth in the economy. You have candidates who think about guns more than the lives of innocent children. You have candidates who believe global warming is just voodoo science.

21) Quit telling Blacks that the Republicans freed the slaves. The Black voters of the present generation aren't going to take kindly to a fat White guy telling them: "You owe us for freeing you!"

22) Talk to young voters. Understand their needs. Don't call young voters, parasites, sugar babies and dependents on the government because they want student loans. Most young voters don't have trust funds and rich parents to help them get into a fancy university or college.

23) Quit acting like parents. You're not parents. You're a political party that favors center-right policies that advocate on limited government, strong defense, low taxes and free enterprise. Put this stuff in common sense and not that jargon that sounds like a professor, or a condescending bigot (i.e. Rush Limbaugh).

24) Admit that Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush were responsible for most of the mess we're in! They've raised the debt ceiling higher than any president before Barack Obama took office. They are the reason why our debt is so high and they didn't care about deficits and budgets. The Republicans followed them like a boy and his dog.
Sarah Palin and Karl Rove are feuding with one another over the direction of the Republican Party.
25) Stop using tokens as your saviors. Sure you may have Michael Steele, Tim Scott, Allen West, Mia Love, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Raul Labrador, Bobby Jindal, Nikki Haley and even Benjamin Carson in the Republican Party, but they don't speak to a general base of voters. They're tokens. They're used only when its a shield to protect racists and extremists within the Republican Party. You will need smart, intelligent and resourceful women and people of color to run the Republican Party. The Democratic Party has bragging rights to having the first Black president. The Democrats had the first woman to be the Speaker of the House. They managed to win a majority of women and young voters. The Hispanic vote is nearly secured by the Democrats. When will the Republicans take their heads out of their asses and get some of the action?

Rush Limbaugh wasn't real helpful to the Republicans this last election.
Here's what I'll do if the Republicans want my vote!

The Republicans must stop this culture war against everyone! If they do so, I'll stop calling them racist.

I'll stop calling them bigots if they refuse to allow anyone within their party to hate a person's race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, educational, political and economic standings.

I'll stop blaming them for all the mass shootings in a suburban school or shopping center.

I'll stop blaming them if they can separate themselves from all the White supremacist rhetoric we've seen through channels such as The Drudge Report.

I'll vote for a Republican for president if the person can deliver a plan to help everyone. Not a select few.

I'll vote for a Republican if they stop acting like a bunch of idiots!

CNN Acting Like Fox News!

Letting that perennial loser Mitt Romney act a fool and now Steubenville! Candy Crowley: What's going on with you?

The Steubenville rape trial has concluded and the teenagers Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond will spend a portion of their lives in the juvenile iron college. At least until their twenties.

The Ohio rust town became the center of a national scandal that involved rape and cover up by local officials.

It got mainstream coverage after the hackivist group Anonymous hacked into the suspect's social networks.

The two star high school football standouts were charged with delinquent rape and were sentenced to the juvenile iron college.

Fredricka Whitfield
Hopefully, the victim will move forward with her life. This incident tore the rust belt city best known for its star high school football team.

CNN was once the most respected news organization in America. It's so lagging in ratings, the network has to revamp its image or face certain disconnect. The new president Jeff Zucker is cleaning house. He's getting rid of the old guard and replacing it with fresh faces. Some are coming from ABC, NBC and CBS.

The old guard are certain to fly right or get the papers.

Candy Crowley, Poppy Harlow and Fredricka Whitfield, you better get in line or else you're getting the pink slip.

The controversy brewed up with the CNN anchors throwing their sympathies to the convicted teens.

When Candy Crowley went to covering the breaking news on the verdict she made the comments that attracted the ire of the media watchdogs.

The New York Observer reports that  Candy Crowley and Poppy Harlow spent their segment exploring the effect the conviction would have on the "star football players, very good students," now that their "promising futures," as Harlow put it, will involve a stint in juvenile hall and a lifetime as registered sex offenders.

Let's remind these women that the teens "RAPED" a drunk teenager. The teenager didn't had to be sexually assaulted by these guys. Whether she was drunk or not, they took advantage of her.

Her life will never be the same. Why are we blaming the victim?

What makes it's so bad, her former friends have turned on her!

Two former friends threatened her online and they'll be facing the judge shortly.

State attorney general Mike DeWine warns that this is far from over. That "NO SNITCHIN'" stuff ain't going to fly with him. He will pursue other charges against teenagers who refused to assist in the case.

Poppy Harlow
Also what this attracts is conservative ire and White supremacists. The fact that one of the accused is Black and the young girl is white will certainly rile these extremists up!

This would lit up their forums with ugly racial slurs, word vomits about Black on White crime, and of course an Obama name drop! This will be a reason for these extremists to paint Blacks as sex crazed NIGGERS who voted for that MUSLIM SOCIALIST WHO DISGRACED THIS COUNTRY with his GUBMINT GIVEAWAYS.

The conservative/white supremacist bubble will name drop Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Trayvon Martin in their word vomits.

White supremacists already label Black people as "animals", who obsess with their women.

Despite this incident, I think they've should have been charged as adults. They should have been found in adult court for this incident.

Thousands of women, young and old are brutalized in rape. And to make this clear, this is human rights abuse that continues to spread. I haven't posted about the incident in India. A woman was gang raped and murdered by ten men. One of the main attackers was awaiting trial. While in custody, he committed suicide.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our prayers to the victim of this tragedy. No one should be brutalized by anyone.

In other words, I say "RAPE IS RAPE".

Please let the Republican Party and its conservative allies understand that!
