For the record, I still respect them but I am getting fucking tired of them grandstanding and posting on social media instead of drafting legislation.

Controversial Democratic lawmaker goes after Vice President Kamala Harris. The vice president visits Mexico and Guatemala to discuss the reasons to why migrants are coming to the United States. Harris declared that migrants should stay home because the United States will not allow open borders. 

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) slammed Harris for imploring migrants traveling from Central America to the United States not to make the oftentimes dangerous journey.

Harris goes to Mexico and Guatemala to discuss the problems migrants face.

Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) have not sponsored or drafted one bill to enter committee. 

"I want to emphasize that the goal of our work is to help Guatemalans find hope at home. At the same time I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border: Do not come, do not come," Harris said Monday at a press conference during her first foreign trip.

A few hours later, Ocasio-Cortez called the vice president's messaging to migrants "disappointing to see." 

"First, seeking asylum at any US border is a 100% legal method of arrival," the progressive lawmaker wrote in a tweet Monday evening. "Second, the US spent decades contributing to regime change and destabilization in Latin America. We can’t help set someone’s house on fire and then blame them for fleeing." 

It would be helpful if the US would finally acknowledge its contributions to destabilization and regime change in the region.

Doing so can help us change US foreign policy, trade policy, climate policy, & carceral border policy to address causes of mass displacement & migration.

Had Harris said that migrants can come to the United States at any given time, the Republicans and Washed Up 45 would demonize her and use it to win back Congress.

Harris said the best way to solve these problems is getting to the root of the problem.

Harris is in Central America this week meeting with local leaders to ascertain the root causes of migration. She had been tapped by President Biden to serve as the point person in his administration on all things immigration. 

In March, Biden made a similar request to migrants, many of whom have said they are coming to the U.S. in hopes of gaining entry more easily under the Biden administration.

"Yes, I can say quite clearly: Don't come over," Biden said during an interview with ABC News. "Don't leave your town or city or community,"

Ocasio-Cortez has in recent months been critical of the Biden administration for how it has dealt with and housed unaccompanied minors who have crossed into the United States illegally.

The U.S. is partly to blame for the corruption, crime and poverty plaguing many countries in the Southern Triangle, she argued.

"It would be helpful if the US would finally acknowledge its contributions to destabilization and regime change in the region," Ocasio-Cortez wrote in another tweet. "Doing so can help us change US foreign policy, trade policy, climate policy, & carceral border policy to address causes of mass displacement & migration."

Many are calling out the lawmaker for having more bark than bite. It is true, Ocasio-Cortez has the least productive record as a lawmaker. She has not introduced many bills into the House. She is equal to that white nationalist Republican from Georgia who riled her up last month.

Harris isn't doing photo ops like Ocasio-Cortez, Karen Boebert and Karen Graham.

Both of them are a headache to the Democrats and Republicans. Neither will find solutions, always agitation.

All I have seen from these lawmakers is cameras and social media. Not once they said on cable news or radio that they have a proposal they're drafting. I am pretty sure if they can get a House majority to pass it through committee it could make a floor vote. I mean if they can get the Senate to pass it with the narrow 50-50 split and 10 Republicans willing to back it and President Joe Biden signs it into law, then the Squad has a leg to stand on.

Rep. Marjorie Karen Greene (R-GA), Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Karen Cammack (R-FL), Rep. Karen Cawthorn (R-NC), Rep. Karen Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Karen Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Karen Gohmert (R-TX), Rep. Karen Roy (R-TX) and numerous other figures seen on camera have no accomplishments either.

Democrats have the most to lose.The Republicans are opposed to everything Biden wants. Democrats want to go at it alone. They know that if they can't get nothing done, they could lose the House and Senate.

Rep. Collin Allred (D-TX), Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA), Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), Rep. Connor Lamb (D-PA), Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS) and Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) are getting fed up with the Squad. They are tired of the bullshit from these lawmakers who appear on television.

Their rhetoric doesn't sit well with constituents of swing districts. Thanks to the "Defund the Police" and "Biden is...." bullshit, the Democrats have slim majorities in the House and the Senate.

Biden has to deal with two distractions within the Senate's Democratic majority. Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) are gridlocking Democrats with their refusal to abolish the filibuster. They are a headache as well.

That's why again it's important to defeat Nina Turner. She does not understand the gravity of Ohio's 11th Congressional District. We must help Shontel Brown win the seat. It is very critical to have allies and not distractions.
