The 75-year old was found on Wednesday was being held in the Brians 2 Prison in Barcelona. The Spanish government approved an extradition for McAfee to the United States. It appears that the controversial business mogul hung himself while in the cell.
Some conspiracy theorists believe he was "murdered" by the state. After all, he lived a life of foreign adventures, pimping, violent outbursts and allegations of murder.
The controversial computer programmer and business mogul founded McAfee Associates in 1987 and ran it until 1994, when he resigned from the company. He was born in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, England.
He created anti-virus software that changed the world. The McAfee software was established to protect millions of users from dangerous computer viruses, worms, ransomware and malware.
He instantly became a billionaire and recluse. He retreated to the Belize to live a life of solitude.
Apparently in 2012, the Belizan police sought McAfee in the murder of Gregory Faull. The American expatriate was found dead from a gunshot wound on the island of Ambergris Caye.
Before he was to be arrested, McAfee fled to Guatemala to seek an asylum. The country denied him asylum on the grounds of possible criminal activity. He ended up being sent back to the United States.
When came back to the states, he ended up causing more trouble.

When he got back into the states, he met Janice Dyson.
Dyson, a 20-something year old Black woman who was allegedly sexually abused and pimped slept with him numerous times. She admitted she was a working girl but found "love" in McAfee. The two ended up being in a relationship and married later that year. He referred to her as the "Pretty Woman."
Due to his allegations of murder, McAfee had trouble gaining entry into Europe. He was caught in Norway and later Germany for trying to enter the country on false pretenses.
On top of that the U.S. Department of Justice and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation sought after he for tax fraud.
He followed the libertarian theory of "I'm rich...why should I pay for taxes when I don't live here" excuse. As he was trying to enter Spain he was quickly detained. He was awaiting the feds to take him home.
McAfee complained that he was being denied due process and was a victim of a witch hunt by the federal government.
He was paranoid, delusional, depressed and considered suicide in the past. I would think that spending 30 years in the iron college was LIFE for McAfee.
Crazy.
