Cops mistaken an airsoft plastic BB gun as a firearm and of course the victim is 16 years old. The endless failures of our police. The George Floyd Policing Reform bill is being stalled in the Senate.

Another person died at the hands of police. This person was a white teenager. Often the junk food media never talk too much about the shootings of white people. They often are not getting the attention of far-right agitators and Black Lives Matter. The agitators of the far-right need something to complain about. They often use this as a "gotcha moment."

They'll be saying, hey the police shot and killed a white person, why ain't Black Lives Matter invested in hashtagging and "Saying their names."

The police shooting of a white teen sparks discussions of police brutality.

Peyton Ham was shot and killed by the cops in St. Mary's County, Maryland last Tuesday. He was 16 years old and was shot twice, first while he was standing and then a second time when he was on the ground. This killing was before the verdict of the cop who killed George Floyd.

According to witnesses, the cops arrived to a residence on a report of a person behaving "suspiciously" with a "weapon." A single officer who was not wearing a body camera arrived at the scene and within a few minutes Peyton was shot and killed. 

The weapon was an airsoft BB gun. There's no law restricting minors from obtaining a BB gun.

One witness claimed he was pointing the BB gun at a pointing stance.

"A gun was recovered at the scene, it has been determined to be an Airsoft gun that is a close representation of an actual handgun," said State Police Secretary Col. Woodrow W. Jones.

It is still under investigation as to whether Ham was dealing with a mental health crisis at the time, Jones said. There is no body camera footage as state police do not wear body cameras.

A lawyer for Ham's family said in a press release that Ham was in "avid history enthusiast" with an "'Alex P. Keaton' type personality," whose "love of conservative politics always [took] center stage to his lively debates at the dinner table. He aspired to be an elected official representing Maryland."

Where's Washed Up 45, Donald Trump, Jr., Sean "Softball" Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Breitbart and Fox News? 

Aren't they concerned about police brutality and the life of Peyton Ham? 

Nope.

Because he's white and the junk food media aren't concerned about his tragic death. It won't bring unrest. The far-right begs for a moment of unrest so they can go after President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Democrats and those who refuse to support their white nationalist platform.

Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how this gun reform is taking away your rights. I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth. I don't want hear folks say this is not white privilege. I don't want to hear folks say masks impede their freedoms. I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. These incidents are a tragic part of American history.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.

The fathers are either killed by gun violence, police violence, COVID-19, heart diseases, diabetes, freak accidents and just being Black in America. You can arrest these white mass shooters, why the fuck can't you arrest a Black person who pose little or no threat?
