The calls to pass the George Floyd Policing Bill are growing. 

The conviction of that former Minneapolis cop who killed George Floyd has not ease tensions with Black America. Since the conviction there were police shootings in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, Columbus, Ohio and the most recent one we're going to discuss in Virginia.

The shooting of Isaiah Brown has also sparked intense protests. He was a 32 year old man who identified as a queer/gender fluid. However, he suffered from mental illness and it appears the cop who shot him mistaken his cellphone as a gun.

He is currently being treated at a local hospital with severe gun shot injuries. Brown was walking on a local road around 3:00 am on Wednesday. He was on the phone talking to a 9-1-1 operator when the deputy got to the scene.

The cop can be heard shouting "Show me your hands" and "Drop the gun" several times, before opening fire. 

Less than an hour earlier, the same cop have given Brown a ride home after his car broke down several miles away. So what the fuck happened?

Spotsylvania County Sheriff's office released body camera footage and a recording of the 9-1-1 call late Friday night after public outrage over the shooting.

Brown is in critical condition at a hospital near Fredericksburg. The cop is placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether the shooting was justified.

Isaiah Brown is fighting for his life. He was shot 10 times while on the phone.

The audio says that Brown was demanding a cop to show up to meet him. He was talking to the operator saying that he "about to kill my brother." The operator is asking for him to not kill anyone.

Brown claims he had a gun on him but quickly backtracked. As he was on the phone, the cop rushed to the scene and pulled aside possibly over 100 feet from Brown.

"Show me your hands. Drop the gun. Drop the gun now. Stop walking towards me. Stop walking towards me. Stop. Stop." 

Then the cop lets off his gun. Then after that he immediately offers treatment after he tells a lifeless Brown to turn over. 

The cop has said several shots were to the abdomen. One gunshot to the left eye and two to his arm.

Being shot ten times while on the phone. God, they hiring idiots. The cop didn't even get a Taser nor used non-restrictive force. He just pulled, shoot and questioned last. 

The cop is white and the victim is Black. Truth be told, most cops are dealing with Blacks with more tension. So it's expected that cops are reaching for their firearms whenever they encounter Black people.

That needs to change now!

Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how this gun reform is taking away your rights. I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth. I don't want hear folks say this is not white privilege. I don't want to hear folks say masks impede their freedoms. I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. These incidents are a tragic part of American history.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.

Cop barely gave a second before he shot and severely injured unarmed man.

And I am getting fucking tired of white nationalists and their enablers of color complaining about the lack of Black fathers. The fathers are either killed by gun violence, police violence, COVID-19, heart diseases, diabetes, freak accidents and just being Black in America.
