The twelfth day for the trial of the former Minneapolis police officer who killed George Floyd.
The city of Brooklyn Center fired the city manager, police chief and the police officer involved in the brutal killing of Daunte Wright. More on that later. The firings came swiftly after the police chief was criticized for describing the incident as an accident. The city manager was fired for saying the white female cop deserves due process. The female cop, identified as Kimberly Potter, 48, was a 26 year cop who drew her firearm and immediately claimed she thought she used her Taser. She is under investigation for the murder of Wright.
Unrest is currently happening in the city of Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center.
Curfew is set at 7pm at present time. Gov. Tim Walz, Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey, St. Paul mayor Melvin Carter and Brooklyn Center mayor Mike Elliott have announced the curfew. Frey and Elliott have reached out to the Daunte's parents, Katie and Aubrey. The parents demand the state criminally charge the dirty cop with murder.
President Joe Biden has also announced the U.S. Justice Department will be involved in the matter.
The reason for the pullover was allegedly expired tags. Katie claimed her son called her about the law pulling him over because of air fresheners in his rearview mirror. Daunte leaves behind a 2 year old child.
This comes on the heels of this former cop's trial where his lawyer is demanding a retrial due to the tensions in the metroplex.
In May 2020, a former cop placed his knee on the neck of George Floyd for over 10 minutes. He and his partners did not render aid to Floyd and he died at the hospital.
Defense is trying to claim that Floyd being on drugs and not having that cop's goddamn knee on his neck led to the death.

Floyd's tragic death in real time has set off a chain of events that led to Minneapolis city firing the cop and his three partners. It also set the state to prosecute the cops and hold them accountable for his death. The city also faced nights of unrest.
White instigators often infiltrate the protest and have tried to create chaos and havoc for far-right agitators and white nationalists.
The trial is going to be held today and of course, a juror is from Brooklyn Center and it could led to a mistrial.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
