As of 4pm, Central Standard Time, the state of Minnesota has found the defendant guilty.

Derek Michael Chauvin was found guilty in the death of George Floyd. The former Minnesota police officer who pinned his knee on the neck of an unarmed Black man during an arrest was found guilty in culpable negligence, second degree manslaughter and third degree manslaughter.

The former cop is in a state of shock.

George Floyd's girlfriend's testimony played a major role in the conviction of the dirty cop.

The former cop will be taken into custody. He was denied a get out free card.

The charges could carry up to 40 years in the iron college. The verdict puts an end to a highly emotional trial where the defense was trying to blame Floyd for his own demise.

The testimony of the witnesses and the dirty cop's former allies doomed him. He was convicted of all three charges. It is rare that he was convicted of all three charges. 

The former cop will appeal the decision immediately. They will cite Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) in a desperate attempt to paint her as a factor to the jury's decision to find him guilty.
