A Kelly File exclusive, Defending anti-gay bigots whose son molested his sisters.
Megyn The Outrage Princess is giving the Duggar family an opportunity to explain Josh's inappropriate actions. It's funny that Megyn The Outrage Princess and her network are willing to give an opportunity to shield an extremely conservative family given the controversy.
Say if this was President Barack Obama or Bill Clinton. They would not interviewed them. They would spend all their time interviewing hearsay. They already have tied Democratic donor Jeff Epstein to Bill Clinton.
Megyn The Outrage Princess certainly targeted Clinton for knowing Epstein.
So why is it not fair to tie Josh to Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, Stallmigo Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Mike Huckabee?
These people who claim this and that. Never allowing the accused to defend themselves. That applies only to conservatives. They get an opportunity to defend themselves in the wake of sexual crime.
If the criminal act was done by a Republican lawmaker, somewhere in the network's chryon, the lawmaker is a Democrat.
Josh refuses to speak to the junk food media. His publicist told the media that he's very sorry about his past transgressions.
He was a teen when he molested four of his siblings and other girls.
What makes a case like this complex, this man Josh was molesting younger children.
InTouch Magazine broke the story and managed to put patriarchs Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children and six grandchildren in a negative spotlight.
TLC have put the show on ice. They don't know if they will continue with the show and spin off.
A young woman was upset over a flight attendant's bigoted response to her request for a soft drink.
Tahera Ahmad was traveling from Chicago to Washington, DC, last week. She asked the attendant for a can of Coca-Cola. The attendant opened her can instead of serving her a closed can. The attendant told her that she could have used it "as a weapon".
Ahmad witness the same attendant serve a person an unopened can of soda.
Ahmad, a chaplain at Northwestern University, told the junk food media that she requested a closed can of soda for "hygienic reasons". The attendant told her that it's against policy to have an unopened can.
Tahera Ahmad.
Well United Airlines and the subsidiary Shuttle America call the attendant's respond to Ahmad bullshit.
They got wind of this and publicly apologized to Ahmad.
"While United did not operate the flight, Ms. Ahmad was our customer and we apologize to her for what occured on the flight. After investigating this matter, United has ensured that the flight attendant, a Shuttle America employee, will no longer serve United customers," in a presser.
Added, "United does not tolerate behavior that is discriminatory - or that appears to be discriminatory against our customers or employees".
The flight attendant was loaded into the cannon and fired out. The attendant was also banned from traveling on United Airlines.
The agitators of the junk food media have spooked the bigots. The bigots could be your neighbors.
The bigots could be your family members, your co-workers, a person in the service industry or a person in the media.
I admit that everyone has a form of bigotry towards someone. But it's unfortunate that in this age of Obama, it's gotten worse.
Americans who are practicing Muslims are often subjected to suspicion. Many of the partisan agitators in the media have been parroting "radical Islam" and the Islamic State. Some of this crap is sponged into the minds of the irrational.
They fail to realize that they legitimize the Islamic State's claims that the United States is declaring war on Muslims. They don't see they're the extremists.
For you see, I don't fear no man, no animal or act of nature. I fear failure and rejection more than things that I can control.
If you're a business and your goals are to serve customers for the $$$$. You'll have it pretty rough to keep a business running if you believe it's right to not serve Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, gays and the poor.
Usaamah Rahim was allegedly plotting a terrorist plot on Pam Geller.
The feds are looking into a plot to assassinate controversial Islamaphobe Pam Geller.
A man from Boston who may have been inspired by the Islamic State was served a sandwich full of lead after he tried to lunge at the feds with a large knife.
The FBI and Homeland Security are on the watch for extremism. Those inspired by groups like the Islamic State are often runaways who leave the United States to join the foreign extremists in Syria.
The suspect Usaamah Rahim was being sought after he told people he wanted to behead police officers and put a bullet in the head of Geller.
Geller sponsored a "Draw Mohammad" contest in order to denounce Muslims. That became a rally cry for extremists to target her and others in the junk food media.
The second suspect David Wright is facing a federal judge for allegedly trying to erase any evidence of Rahim's terrorist plot.
An FBI agent's affidavit was released by the U.S. Attorney's Office tells that story of Rahim and Wright along with another man plotting a terrorist plot against Geller.
They met in Rhode Island on a beach with an informant.
David Right and Usassmah Rahim were plotting a mass murder.
Rahim obtained knives online and the FBI intercepted the package before it made it to him.
Rahim was about to be brought in for questioning. The Boston police and feds were closing in on him. He took out a couple of sharp ones and tired to slice and dice. The feds let him have it. Wright who dubbed himself Dawud Sharif Abdul Khaliq told Rahim to wipe the evidence from the computer clean and talk in code.
They were planning a "vacation". Or perhaps a "jihad" or "wipe out".
Rahim's brother a cleric at a local mosque told the junk food media that these accusations were unbelievable. Some in civil and clergy leaders as well as the Black community dispute the claims.
He took to social media to condemn the actions of the cops and prayers to his brother.
Pray4 my younger brother Usaama Rahim shot 3 X in his back by Boston Police then dying His last words I can't breathe pic.twitter.com/XcZWeiigtg
Officials have shown video coverage to the family. They dispute the charges.
The junk food media learned that the 26-year-old worked as a security guard at the Islamic Society of Boston back in 2013. He also worked at Best Buy briefly and most recently was employed by CVS as a loss prevention officer.
Pam Geller is beefing up her security.
Abdurrashid said he was "smiling, always smiling always happy. Always had a smile on his face. Always willing to help. Just an overall good American kid."
Rahim was living with his wife and two brothers at his mother's apartment. Those close to him say that his mother was a nurse and that he had a wonderful family.
His body was returned to his family as of Wednesday as the Medical Examiner expedited the autopsy. Friends of the family say they are working to organize services this week.
Pam Geller and the racist right have been on this "radical Islam" fixation.
You heard of concern trolling right?
Well this woman (a former beauty model) is a crazy individual. She dares the media to silence her.
She wanted to make a point by making offensive drawings of the Prophet Mohammad knowing that it's considered blasphemy to draw the prophet in any form.
She now has to watch her back 24/7. Her life is in danger. The U.S. Justice Department and local law enforcement knows that she is a target. Even though they can't stand her actions, they will do their best to make sure she has a right to be a bigot.
Tamir Rice was killed in November 2014. Now the Cuyahoga Ohio prosecutor is looking into whether to charge the cop responsible for the shooting of the teen.
City leaders are fearing the worst. Cleveland, Ohio could erupt into violence if Timothy Loehmann walks in the fatal killing of Tamir Rice.
It's been over seven months since the fatal shooting and now the fate of one officer lies in the hands of the Cuyahoga County prosecutor's office. Tamir was playing with a non-lethal firearm.
Someone called the law on him. And within a few minutes, two officers pull up on Tamir and the cop fires directly on him. The boy was shot in two seconds. He took two to the body.
The junk food media unearths Timothy Loehmann's social media.
He would die of his injuries the next day. Now the prosecutor Tim McGinty got the hard task of deciding whether Loehmann's actions merit a criminal charge.
Frank Garmback
The Cuyahoga County Sheriff Clifford Pinckney is telling the junk food media that this case will be conducted by his department. He promises a "fair, unbiased and extensive" investigation.
The Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine held back the surveillance video of the shooting. It took about a month before the release. This sparked national discussion over deadly police encounters involving Black suspects.
Ohio has an open carry law. So it was in legal right for Tamir to have a non lethal weapon. Whether it's a water gun or a foam dart gun, to an officer it could be a deadly weapon.
The family of Tamir is filing a federal lawsuit against Cleveland and the officer. The judge called for a temporary delay into the lawsuit.
The police union, the lawyers for Loehmann and Sgt. Frank Garmback had requested delay. They believe their actions will land them in court. So they called a delay as the potential criminal case proceeds.
Citing concerns for the cops rights against self-incrimination, the judge put the discovery process of the case on hold for 60 days. The ruling will now delay the federal lawsuit against the city of Cleveland.
Ohio Republican governor John Kasich, a potential clown running for the red nose is calling for protesters to restrain themselves. Kasich also is hoping that the crisis in Cleveland dies down so it doesn't affect his decision to run.
Kasich has put together a task force on policing. He asked Attorney General Loretta Lynch to aid him in working on situations in the wake of this, John Crawford, Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.
These three individuals along with Tamir were killed in deadly police confrontations.
Ex-cop Michael Brelo (right) was busted for aggravated assault. Mike and brother Mark (left) will face a judge in the coming days. Mike got off a murder charge in the killing of Cleveland residents Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.
The ex-Cleveland Ohio police officer who fired 15 out of 137 rounds into a vehicle with unarmed motorists is going to face a judge again. He got into a drunken fight with his twin brother in Bay Village. Now he's about to head back for aggravated assault.
Mike Brelo is charged only a few weeks after he was acquitted of murder. The families of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams aren't happy that this cop walked.
I bet you money, they're not happy to hear this clown is back in the news.
On May 27, Mike and his brother Mark were at their home and apparently they got upset with one another.
The fist were flying and the police were called. Bay Village Police got the cuffs on the brothers.
They've turned themselves in. They got a "get out of free card" and will be facing a judge on these charges.
This is a misdemeanor charge. May carry a few months in county lock up if found guilty.
The Cleveland Police are facing some major controversy. The police under fire for excessive force in apprehensions. Brelo was one of dozen officers who were in pursuit of Tim Russell's vehicle.
Russell picked up Malissa near East Cleveland. The cops knew that Malissa was a pro and they wanted to put Russell in lock up for getting head. Russell had a bad license and was fearing a lockup and public shaming, took off.
His vehicle was old and rusty. While fleeing the law, his vehicle made a loud pop. The cops mistaken that as gunshots being fired upon them. So after a long pursuit, they were boxed in.
Michael Brelo didn't have one ounce of remorse for the killing of Malissa Williams and Timothy Russell.
The cops let them eat lead. They pumped over 137 into the vehicle. Brelo jumps onto the vehicle by the hood and fires into the windshield.
After searching the vehicle, they found that Tim and Malissa had no weapons on them. And that's what led to the trial of Brelo. He was the one who acted more like a mercenary than a cop.
The FBI and Justice Department are still looking into Cleveland's handling of unarmed suspects.
Last year the law pulled a half a second fire on a child playing with a non lethal firearm.
Tamir Rice was another victim of a cop killing. He was 12 year old boy playing with an air rifle. He was killed by Timothy Loehmann.
Loehmann was a rookie cop who had been under scrutiny for his behavior. The Cuyahoga County prosecutor is considering whether this cop walks or faces a judge.
Teens got busted hauling loot from their robberies.
If you're committing a criminal act in the daylight, don't be a fool. If you're recording this stuff and posting it on social media, then you're just a stupid idiot. I guess this is one of those "You Can't Fix Stupid" moments.
Four Florida teens are spending the night in the county after they were caught on film posting a home burglary. They wanted to show their bounty on film. They were flashing that cash, them jewels and that nice new ride they've swiped from an Oakland Park neighborhood.
The teens -- identified as Jaynell Justin, 16, of Oakland Park; Amos Marc, 17, of Oakland Park; Lamonte Scott, 16, of Oakland Park; and Machel Stevens, 18, of Fort Lauderdale -- left the stolen items in the stolen car after getting into a crash in Fort Lauderdale, BSO spokeswoman Dani Moschella said.
Among the stolen items that police found in the car was the camcorder that the teens used to record the nearly three-minute long video, Moschella said.
Fort Lauderdale police tracked the stolen items to residential burglaries in Boca Raton and Oakland Park. When BSO detectives saw the video, they recognized each bragging burglary suspect, Moschella said.
The teens were arrested on charges of burglary and grand theft.
Detectives believe the teens have committed at least 25 residential burglaries in Oakland Park, as well as stealing and burglarizing cars.
The meanest woman to ever exist. Michelle Malkin, a controversial blogger, agitator and woman of color. She's a nasty conservative agitator who post people's numbers online whenever she gets pissed with them.
In this adventure of turd flipping, conservative agitator Michelle Malkin gets into a huge fight with the folks over at Addicting Info after they discovered that her syndication The National Review ran a phony photo in her hit piece against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a candidate running for the Democratic nomination.
Malkin wrote another book to bitch about President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, liberals, Hollywood and rappers. She titled this book, Who Built That? It's a jab at the president after he made the "You didn't built that" remark during the 2012 presidential election.
Malkin is a frequent bitch about everyone and everything. She is a woman of color who denies her Filipino heritage and complains that those real racists are the Black leaders and Obama. For a while she was banned from Loserville.
While in Colorado Springs, Malkin writes and blogs frequently about her grievances with liberalism.
Malkin was firing her acid breath on the social media tonight. She aimed at the liberal blog after they caught the photo of a woman shopping at a Walmart with food stripped from the shelves.
What the problem in the photo, it was during the 2005 Hurricane Rita tragedy.
Hurricane Rita destroyed Louisiana and Texas in 2015.
The National Review used that picture in their attempt to compare Sander's socialist views to the Republic of Venezuela.
Venezuela is a country with poor relations with the United States. The country is going through an economic recession. The country is currently pissed over the U.S. foreign policies when it comes oil trade and its overzealous attitude towards immigrants.
To conservatives, Venezuela is another axis of evil.
Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is an independent senator from Vermont. He's trying to prove to the public he's no joke.
Anyway, since Sanders declared his intentions to jump into the clown car, the Vermont senator is being mocked by the left for being a candidate that won't be elected. The right already is trying to say he's a old pervert because of a past writing of his sexual desires. They believe that Sanders' economic policies will make the United States a "third world nation".
Addicting Info and Little Green Footballs caught the photo and pointed the finger at Malkin and the publisher Rich Lowry.
Malkin went on the defense. She also took the time to jab Addicting Info editor Wendy Gittleson.
Hi @nro@richlowry -Pls make clear that I had NOTHING to do w/the pic you printed w/my syndicated column. Sick of seeing my name smeared.
The National Review owed up. They removed the photo.
Addicting Info did owe up to the error and apologized to her. But the damage was done, now I am guessing that Malkin and her minions are trolling the website.
Once you piss her off, expect Malkin to find your email, phone number and address. She will post it to Reddit or Twitter. Expect death threats and hate speech to reign in.
Anyway, the whole episode was covered by Mediaite.
The last time Malkin face some heat, was her appearance on Loserville's Election HQ with Megyn Kelly. She was bitching about Michelle Obama and under a chyron "Outrage Liberals: Stop Picking On Obama's Baby Mama".
She caught a lot of heat for it and had to defend herself by complaining about Obama introducing her husband as her "baby daddy".
Mrs. Obama at a commencement speech respond to Malkin and others.
I understand that kind of pressure. I’ve experienced a little bit of it myself. You see, graduates, I didn’t start out as the fully-formed First Lady who stands before you today. No, no, I had my share of bumps along the way. Back when my husband first started campaigning for President, folks had all sorts of questions of me: What kind of First Lady would I be? What kinds of issues would I take on? Would I be more like Laura Bush, or Hillary Clinton, or Nancy Reagan? And the truth is, those same questions would have been posed to any candidate’s spouse. That’s just the way the process works. But, as potentially the first African American First Lady, I was also the focus of another set of questions and speculations; conversations sometimes rooted in the fears and misperceptions of others. Was I too loud, or too angry, or too emasculating? Or was I too soft, too much of a mom, not enough of a career woman?
First Lady Michelle Obama tells the graduates to ignore the noise. She aimed at one agitator makes a lot of noise.
Then there was the first time I was on a magazine cover -- it was a cartoon drawing of me with a huge afro and machine gun. Now, yeah, it was satire, but if I’m really being honest, it knocked me back a bit. It made me wonder, just how are people seeing me. Or you might remember the on-stage celebratory fist bump between me and my husband after a primary win that was referred to as a “terrorist fist jab.” And over the years, folks have used plenty of interesting words to describe me. One said I exhibited “a little bit of uppity-ism.“ Another noted that I was one of my husband’s “cronies of color.” Cable news once charmingly referred to me as “Obama’s Baby Mama.” And of course, Barack has endured his fair share of insults and slights. Even today, there are still folks questioning his citizenship. And all of this used to really get to me. Back in those days, I had a lot of sleepless nights, worrying about what people thought of me, wondering if I might be hurting my husband’s chances of winning his election, fearing how my girls would feel if they found out what some people were saying about their mom. But eventually, I realized that if I wanted to keep my sanity and not let others define me, there was only one thing I could do, and that was to have faith in God’s plan for me. I had to ignore all of the noise and be true to myself -- and the rest would work itself out. So throughout this journey, I have learned to block everything out and focus on my truth. I had to answer some basic questions for myself: Who am I? No, really, who am I? What do I care about? And the answers to those questions have resulted in the woman who stands before you today. A woman who is, first and foremost, a mom. Look, I love our daughters more than anything in the world, more than life itself. And while that may not be the first thing that some folks want to hear from an Ivy-league educated lawyer, it is truly who I am. So for me, being Mom-in-Chief is, and always will be, job number one.
And what's off the record is the news. As usual the accusations of being anti-Semitic are often tossed around by the conservative agitators towards President Barack Obama.
There's an accusation being thrown around by the racist right. They claim that former White House advisor David Axelrod overheard the president say something offensive about Jewish people.
Now The Daily Nothing is calling it as fact. I remember this was the same outfit that allowed a right winger interrupt the president during a presser. This is the website that claimed that they had a "smoking gun" when it came to the president's relationship with his former pastor Jeremiah Wright.
They tried to run this PBS documentary of the president back in 2007 talking about his former pastor and called it a bombshell.
For a bombshell coming from a website with a track record of getting wrong, it's pretty skeptical about it. But to the trolls, it's fact regardless.
They claim that because of the U.S. support of Israel reaching record lows, conservatives actually believe it's Obama's fault for the Israeli relations being in such disarray.
Axelrod claims that the president's strained relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu stems from his chest beating about Iran and his refusal to stop building settlements in the West Bank.
He also recalled Obama venting in a moment of contemplation, telling him, ‘You know, I think I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office. For people to say that I am anti-Israel, or, even worse, anti-Semitic, it hurts.’
For you see, the president has a strong disagreement with Israeli prime minister Netanyahu.
The recent Netanyahu election victory assures the United States another six years of the worlds' most controversial leader. Conservatives look at him as an effective leader when it comes to defeating the "radical" Islamic extremists. Most of the world looks at him as a buffoon and war chicken.
I for one believe the United States is being driven into war because Israeli intelligence gives this bullshit story about terrorism in Iran.
For one thing, Iranians citizens don't give two fucks about the United States. They rather focus on their daily lives and don't believe in war also. Besides who cares what some foreign nation thinks about the United States.
The butt kissing to Israel is nauseating. When Congress passed an authorization act to oversee the G6 proposal with Iran, Stallmigos Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) tried to put some bullshit in the law.
They want to make sure Iran recognizes Israel as the Jewish state. They can't fathom the nasty comments coming from those mean old Tehran politicos.
Instead of calling it terrorism, the conservatives legitimize their efforts to denounce the United States as a leading force against Islam.
You hear the war chickens run this game about how Obama's not effective in taking on the Islamic State in the Levant. They believe that an indefinite military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan are feasible.
It's a damn shame that our agitators are right on course with this notion the United States is fighting a religious war. Matter of fact, we're fighting a proxy war for Israel. We're killing them on their land.
If the Islamic State had all the technology and military arsenal we got maybe they could drone.
Seriously, I am not for putting more ground troops in harms way because of a bunch of chest beating asshats.
Agitators trying to make noise. Hillary Clinton leads in most polls.
Hillary Clinton running a low key campaign and yet it seems like her opposition is so obsessed with her they're actually try to set her up in usual social media gotcha moments.
A fake campaign supporter tried to interrupt Clinton with a selfie. Clinton told the fake supporter to "Get to the back of the line".
Blaring on the conservative Craigslist is this story and the stories about Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Martin O'Malley having big crowds in Iowa. And all the while, this so-called conservative agitating super pac called America Rising is trying to make a scandal where there is none.
They are really trolling Hillary everywhere. They're taking speeches out of context and trying to generate click bait to their mission to stop her from winning.
Say if you're trying to get an autograph from a presidential candidate, don't you have to respect the ones who have an opportunity to be ahead.
This fake supporter's testy exchange of words with Hillary was soon posted on Vine.
And it's been ReVined over 4.4 million times.
Here's a few things you should know about this interaction.
Hillary Clinton has U.S. Secret Service protection for life. She was the former First Lady of the United States and Secretary of State. The person who filmed it and the person who tried to bother Clinton would have been detained.
Hillary Clinton is leading in most national polls against the Democratic challengers and Republicans.
The conservatives have a Clinton Obsession. They continue to revisit the past in order to distract the public from the Republican leadership's failure to pass legislation.
If you ask Scott Walker, John Kasich and Chris Christie what they've done as governors, I bet you couldn't tell a partisan agitator. The agitators are obsessed with asking Hillary supporters her latest accomplishments.
Like with most people in the media, is it best to ignore them?
This is much to do about nothing.
But since she's the ringmaster of the circus, the clowns are trying to find ways to become the ringmaster.
Conservatives are trying to keep the negativity high on Hillary. They want the Democrats to be uninspired by her perennial run for the White House.
Hey, Republicans and conservatives!
We already know you hate her. We already know you're going to waste more time on these silly distractions. I don't care what Bill Clinton does. He's not running for president. You can go on and on about his affairs at your own peril. Because we know Republicans candidates are hiding affairs too.
We the American people decide on who gonna be our Republican and Democratic nominee. Not the junk food media and the partisan agitators.
Former lawmaker can't wrestle out of a federal indictment. Former Illinois Republican Representative Dennis Hastert is under fire for allegedly paying off a male lover after he threatened to reveal his past. He is a former House Speaker.
Former Illinois Republican lawmaker Dennis Hastert is going to be facing a federal judge after he was caught lying to the FBI over transactions. He was hiding money. He was trying to pay off a male lover after the lover threatened to reveal his past encounters with him.
Hastert was the former House Speaker who preceded over the worst record of controversial lawmakers in Washington.
Under Hastert, there were a lot (I MEAN A LOT) of lawmakers who were caught in sex scandals, ethical situations and political corruption.
Who would of thought a former House Speaker was all in it?
I mean Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was a way better House Speaker than what we got now!
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) is the current House Speaker. He's nicknamed the Weeper because he cries at every event that mentions his name.
Pelosi had bigger balls than Hastert and Boehner.
Anyway, Yorkville, Illinois is pulling the plug on the Hastert name. They are scrubbing his name from Wheaton University and taking the street signs off the road.
Republican lawmakers pretend like they didn't know that stuff happened.
They were shocked and saddened by this.
Pelosi probably shook her head and said, damn this what the voters wanted!
Hastert was indicted by federal prosecutors who allege he evaded the requirement that banks report cash transactions over $10,000, and made false statements to the FBI about his withdrawals, in a hush money scheme. According to the federal indictment,
Hastert allegedly paid $1.7 million to a former student at Yorkville High School "in order to compensate for and conceal his prior misconduct" against that individual during Hastert's time as a teacher and wrestling coach there.
If found guilty on these charges, Hastert will get up to ten in federal time out with $250,000 fine.
A crazy video emerges. A guy from Yorkville calls Hastert and it's creepy. The look on the man's face is priceless.
I can't be touched. Anthony Elonis got redemption after the Supreme Court ruled that his imprisonment and conviction invalid. He went to social media to rap a verse about killing his ex-wife in Eminem fashion.
If I want to say "I'm a kill you" in a musical verse, is it a threat?
Well the Supreme Court says "no". It's not a threat if you're expressing frustrations about killing without preemptive attack. It has to be the actions done and not said. The court ruled in favor of a man who spent time in the prison after he took shots at his estranged wife after he found out she cheated on him.
Elonis v. United States is a decision that ruled in favor of plaintiff Anthony Elonis.
The court invalidated his conviction. He is no longer an active felon in the state of Pennsylvania.
Anthony Elonis (formerly known as Tone Dougie) was convicted on four counts of threats to local law enforcement, his estranged wife, an FBI agent, and a kindergarten class, relayed through interstate communication. He was sentenced to 5 years in federal time out. He posted his lyrics of violence on Facebook.
There you go.........!
Remember what you post on social media can be seen by everyone. Just because you keep it private, doesn't mean it's private. Your friends and their friends and strangers can exploit you. Once its online, it's forever.
Big rulings are coming. Obamacare and gay marriage on the way.
In his lyrics he would say:
Did you know that it's illegal for me to say I want to kill my wife?
It's illegal.
It's indirect criminal contempt.
It's one of the only sentences that I'm not allowed to say.
Now it was okay for me to say it right then because I was just telling you that it's illegal for me to say I want to kill my wife...
Elonis said that his rap verse were similar to Eminem.
He would also post that he would take out others. That caught the FBI's attention.
"...Took all the strength I had not to turn the bitch ghost
Pull my knife, flick my wrist, and slit her throat
Leave her bleedin’ from her jugular in the arms of her partner..."
Elonis' conviction was based on multiple public Facebook posts he wrote, including the following about his wife: “If I only knew then what I know now... I would have smothered your ass with a pillow. Dumped your body in the back seat. Dropped you off in Toad Creek and made it look like a rape and murder.”
Elonis fought the state of Pennsylvania to regain his freedom. After a few appeals, he got it to the Supreme Court.
.
In a 7-2 decision, the court ruled that it was wrong for the federal authorities and state of Pennsylvania to assume that Elonis had the intentions of planning a domestic attack through social media. They knew it was rap lyrics and not an inspired attack.
Justices Samuel Alito and Clearance Thomas were the dissenting opinion.
This ruling means that even if its distasteful and threatening, the court believes that if it's written by song or in poetic form (and not a plot to carry out a domestic attack), it's freedom of speech.
Elonis wanted to think like Eminem.
Marshall Mathers III, 42 is the world's greatest rapper. He comes from the city of Detroit and told his tales of hardship through his alter ego Slim Shady. The rapper released eight albums, five collaborations and starred in a blockbuster movie. He is one of the very few rappers to earn a Oscar for best song. He is the most recognizable White rapper. He is a controversial talent. He is criticized by some for rapping verse that may seem sexist, homophobic, violent, demonic, sadistic, and too commercial.
Eminem is also founder of Shady Records, the label that host his group D12, hip-hop collective Slaughterhouse and Alabama rapper Yelawolf.
Eminem is signed on Interscope Records through Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment.
Dr. Dre left the label to join Apple via his Beats Audio.
Bigger rulings coming soon. The decisions on executive powers, Obamacare and gay marriage will be decided on in the coming weeks.
In a ruling today, the U.S. Supreme Court rules in favor of the plaintiff who filed a federal lawsuit against a suburban clothing retailer.
EEOC v. Abercrombie & Fitch Stores, Inc., was a court ruling stops selective hiring practices by companies such as New York-based clothing outlet Abercrombie & Fitch.
Whether an employer can be liable under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for refusing to hire an applicant or discharging an employee based on a “religious observance and practice” only if the employer has actual knowledge that a religious accommodation was required and the employer's actual knowledge resulted from direct, explicit notice from the applicant or employee.
Hani Khan.
In a 8-1 decision, with Justice Clearance Thomas being the sole dissent rules that A&F was in violation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission when it dealt with accommodating to religious grounds.
Those involved the clothing company were prepared for this. They were committed to ending its discrimination practices towards hires who were Black, Hispanic, fat, and practicing Muslim.
They fired CEO Mike Jeffries out the cannon after he and his boyfriend ran the company into the ground. Mike and his boyfriend were blowing money fast. They were telling the public that they have to be catered by male models who had to look the part. The controversial business executive was bold in his demands. He didn't want fat people, Black people and unattractive people wearing his company's logo.
70 year old man-child Mike Jeffries was forced out of A&F/Hollister. The loaded him and his partner in the cannon and fired them out.
Some managers of A&F stores fired two women out the cannon after they refused to take off their hijab because of their religion.
Hani Khan, 23 was the most recognizable face of the ruling. She was fired from a California Hollister store after she was told that she could not be on the A&F floor. So they sent her to the Hollister to work in the break room. When she came onto the floor to assist a guest, a manager told her to head home and not come back.
She took her concerns to the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and they filed a federal lawsuit against the compnay.
Now based in New Albany, Ohio outside of Columbus, the board was taking a lot of heat.
Sales are down. Many stores might close and its trying to rebuilt its image. According to the new rules, you can wear whatever you want. You don't have to be a white girl with blonde hair or a white guy with ripped muscles wearing jeans tucked up with sandals.
They want to bring young teens back to the A&F and Hollister stores. They even introduced large and XXL sizes for customers.
