| What a week. |
October Suprise.
White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia is facing public backlash after her first week on the job being a total train wreck. It has White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles threatening to quit.
President Donald J. Trump had picked a far right agitator to replace Karoline Leavitt.
Dana Perino, Kayleigh McEneny and soon Leavitt are contributors to Fox. They served as White House Press Secretaries under Republican presidents.
Zacharia went to the most annoying media agitator in the motherfucking country to clean up her image. It did not go well as planned.
In her first interview as press secretary, Zacharia went to Sean "Softball" Hannity's rodeo of bullshit. It was a less than ten minute interview which completely went south.
The interview and her limited press pool drew widespread media attention after she fumbled questions regarding her legal credentials and her widely panned debut press briefing.

Commentators across the political spectrum expressed surprise at "Softball" Hannity’s sharp questioning, given Fox's historically friendly coverage of the Trump administration. The interview ended awkwardly as Zacharia was drowned out by commercial break music while trying to explain how she would improve future briefings.
The following morning, Zacharia appeared on Fox & Friends for a "cleanup" interview, where co-hosts similarly questioned her preparedness and whether she still held the confidence of the president.
Despite the rocky start, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung issued a statement defending Zacharia, calling her "whip-smart" and "uniquely qualified" for the role.
