Oklahoma Restaurant Owner Won't Serve "Freaks, F*ggots, Disabled" Or Tho...

Trigger Warning:  The language is demeaning and hateful.  It's not surprising from a state that has a reputation of being unfriendly to Blacks, women, and gays.  It produces bigots such as RamZPaul and David Yeagley, whom I had several run-ins with several years back.

A restaurant outside of Oklahoma City is facing criticism after its outspoken owner made a series of inflammatory comments after one of his former customers, who is disabled, complained that he’d been banned from the establishment.

Matt Gard claims that the owner of Gary’s Chicaros restaurant, Gary James, banned him from the restaurant because of his wheelchair. James, however, says otherwise: “He created an issue. You only have one time here. You create an issue, you’re out forever.”

Gard claims that’s just “a weak excuse,” and that James’s real problem with him is that he’s on disability.

James doesn’t deny that he thinks some people shouldn’t patronize his restaurant. “Well if you work, you own a business, pay your taxes, you’re more than welcome here,” he told KFOR. “If you’re on welfare, stay at home and spend my money, there. I don’t deal with these people walking down the street with no jobs on welfare.”

Gard also claims that James has routinely turned away customers for decades. “He doesn’t like certain people of race, color, ethnicity,” Gard said of James.

James told KFOR that he’s owned Gary’s Chicaros for 44 years, so he “think[s] I can spot a freak or a f*ggot.”

The restaurant’s official t-shirt makes it clear that a “f*ggot” isn’t welcome in James’s establishment. It features that word, the N-word, and threatens violence against Muslims, Democrats, and members of many minority groups.

James says he is “proud” to wear the shirt: “I really don’t want gays around. Any man that would compromise his own body would compromise anything.”

Maybe Oklahoma needs a Moral Monday to protest against racist attitudes of its citizens.

The racist right loves to photobomb negative images of Black people.

A school in California wanted to celebrate Black History Month by bringing out the fried chicken, cornbread, watermelon and Kool-Aid.

It's another racist right attempt to undermine the achievements of Black leaders.

They're so offended that Blacks and Hispanics have months for achievements and they being WHITE MEN don't have their own WHITE HISTORY MONTH.

So I guess our friends in the conservative media couldn't help themselves. That Guy Who Throws Shit On The Wall had posted it this morning and I am betting those daily banters of racial extremists are having a field day complaining.

Hey, why not insert President Barack Obama into the fold. After all the racist right hates him just as much as they hate Black History Month. The racist right would claim that if it wasn't for Obama, "us Black folk" wouldn't have the fried chicken and the purple drank.

Students at Carondelet High School for Girls in Concord wanted to come up with ways to observe the occasion during a lunchtime celebration Friday. But when the school announced a menu of fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon, other students and parents became offended.

A private school makes a poor decision.

“When I first saw that, I was confused. I didn’t understand why our school would do this because we’re totally against that kind of stuff,” said Gianna Scoma, a junior at Carondelet.

School officials held an assembly on campus Wednesday to discuss the issue and also sent a letter apologizing to parents. Principal Nancy Libby wrote that the items were taken off of the menu and that the school doesn’t perpetrate racial stereotypes.

Libby also wrote the school will hold a diversity assembly for students and faculty.

“Cultural insensitivity of any kind is obviously inconsistent with the mission of Carondelet High School,” said school president Sister Ann Bernard.

The educators said Carondelet could have invited speakers or hold a field trip to learn about black history.

While many students felt bad about the announcement, some said our society is too sensitive.

“I understand like how it would offend people. But we’re just doing something to celebrate, not bring it down,” said Morgan Hartford, a junior at the school.

Gabby Simones, a junior at the school who is Latina said, “On Cinco de Mayo we would have probably had enchiladas, rice and beans.”

Robert Jackson, a teacher at Acts Christian Academy said offering fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon is different, because the food goes back to the history of slavery. “We talk about soul food because it was actually food we used that was left over from the master’s table and we used it to restore our soul and restore our hope.”

Can't catch a break. The jobs report is out and the cynics are still complaining regardless of the results.

Okay, this is the week when we get the monthly jobs report for the month of January.

It seems like even though we obtained a fair amount of jobs, its still not enough for the critics of President Barack Obama.

January's records 113,000 jobs brings the unemployment numbers to 6.6%.

The New York Times reports that the American economy added 113,000 jobs in January, a disappointing showing that is likely to spur fears that the labor market is poised for yet another slowdown.

Before the report from the Labor Department on Friday morning, economists had been looking for the economy to gain 180,000 positions last month. But after an extraordinarily weak showing for hiring in December, some experts are concerned that weakness is carrying into 2014 and signaling a broader loss of momentum in the economy.

The unemployment rate in January was 6.6 percent, compared with 6.7 percent in December.

While some other economic figures have suggested strength in the economy recently, especially the robust rate of growth in the United States in the second half of 2013, the labor market has been healing more slowly.

Still, in the fall there had been enough pickup in hiring to persuade the Federal Reserve in December to gradually begin scaling back its stimulus efforts. With the January report substantially weaker than expected, that call is looking increasingly premature.

Private employers added 142,000 positions to their payrolls in January, while government at all levels shed 29,000. Among individual sectors, manufacturing had a gain of 21,000 jobs, while employment in construction jumped by 48,000.

The employment-population ratio, which has been falling as more workers drop out of the job market, edged up 0.2 percentage points to 58.8 percent. In recent years, the exit of people from the work force has reduced the unemployment rate, but it is a sign that people are giving up hope of finding a job amid slack conditions, hardly the way policy makers would like to see joblessness come down.

Despite Friday’s report, another steady reduction in bond purchases is likely when Fed policy makers next meet in March. A disappointing showing in February’s report, however, might change that.

Wintry conditions that held back hiring were blamed for the weakness in December, a theory popular among more optimistic economists after those numbers came out in early January.

For last month, despite what seems like an endless series of snowstorms on the East Coast and arctic conditions in the Midwest recently, the reference week for the latest survey was Jan. 12-18, when conditions were fairly normal as Januaries go, limiting some of the impact of the weather in this report.

Oklahoma Republican congressman Jim Bridenstine allows a stupid ass constituent make threat on President Barack Obama's life.

The Young Gun of the Tea Party Movement is under fire for deliberately allowing this nonsense go on without a merit of concern.

This is why the Democrats and their politically allies label the party as a bunch of bigots.

News 9 Oklahoma reports that  more threats have surfaced just a day after one Oklahoma man was charged with mailing a threatening letter to President Obama.

That man could face up to five years in federal prison for making the threats.

While Oklahoma Congressman Jim Bridenstine was holding a town hall meeting, the topic quickly turned when the floor was open for discussion.

"Obama shouldn't be president if you ask me. He should be executed for being an enemy combatant."

At first it seems only laughter followed the female attendees comments on executing the president. But if you listen closely it sounds as if a male responds with "I don't know about that..."

Whether the male voice was Bridenstine or not, the Oklahoma Democratic Party feels the congressman didn't do enough.

"I am appalled someone would threaten the Commander-In-Chief, Republican or Democrat. Congressman Bridenstine owes the President an apology, the country an apology and the people of Oklahoma an apology," said ODP Chairman Wallace Collins.

"A public figure cannot control what people say in open meetings. I obviously did not condone and I do not approve of grossly inappropriate language. It is outrageous that irresponsible parties would attribute another person's reckless remarks to me," responded Bridenstine.

First amendment attorney Mark Hammons viewed the video. And the difference between these comments and the threatening letter from Rogers County resident Hunter Hines, is not a direct threat of harm.

"Comes close to that but probably doesn't cross the line because she's expressing an opinion," said Civil Rights attorney Mark Hammons.

After the woman made those comments she went on to call the President a criminal and a moron. When she was done, the Congressman went back on the topic of gun control.

As you know that the U.S. Secret Service takes all threats against the president very seriously. These individuals who made threats are going to find a visit unpleasant.

You know if you're found guilty of making an attempt at the president's life, you're going to federal time out for 5 years and pay a hefty fine.

Butts Out At CVS!

The pharmacy is going to cut the smokes.

I know that conservatives are thinking that the Obama Administration had something to do with it!

Would be worth my while to say that anything done in the name of the health of Americans is considered treasonous according to the racist right agitators?

The second largest drug store company decides to put the smokes out literally.

By October, all CVS locations will be void of the cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars and e-cigs.

This comes as no surprise that a drug store selling cigarettes is kind of stupid in the first place.

In a statement explaining the change, CVS President & CEO Larry J. Merlo said, "We came to the decision that cigarettes and providing health care just don’t go together in the same setting."

The retailer said the move makes CVS/pharmacy the first chain of national pharmacies to take tobacco products off the shelves.

"Ending the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products at CVS/pharmacy is the right thing for us to do for our customers and our company to help people on their path to better health," Larry J. Merlo, president and CEO of CVS Caremark, said in a statement. "Put simply, the sale of tobacco products is inconsistent with our purpose."

A former smoker himself, President Barack Obama praises the move. In this CVS store, someone left a cutout of the president by the cashier window.

Health-oriented organizations and President Barack Obama praised the move.

"As one of the largest retailers and pharmacies in America, CVS Caremark sets a powerful example, and today's decision will help advance my administration's efforts to reduce tobacco-related deaths, cancer, and heart disease, as well as bring down health care costs -- ultimately saving lives and protecting untold numbers of families from pain and heartbreak for years to come," Obama said in a statement Wednesday.

"This is an important, bold public health decision by a major retail pharmacy to act on the long understood reality that blending providing health care and providing cigarettes just doesn't match," said Dr. Richard Wender, chief cancer control officer at the American Cancer Society.

"We need an all-hands-on-deck effort to take tobacco products out of the hands of America's young generation, and to help those who are addicted to quit," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement. "Today's CVS Caremark announcement helps bring our country closer to achieving a tobacco-free generation. I hope others will follow their lead."
It remained unclear whether other pharmacies will follow CVS' lead.

"We have been evaluating this product category for some time to balance the choices our customers expect from us with their ongoing health needs," Walgreens spokesman Jim Graham said in a statement.

"We will continue to evaluate the choice of products our customers want, while also helping to educate them and providing smoking-cessation products and alternatives that help to reduce the demand for tobacco products."

Meanwhile, David Howard, spokesman for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., said, "We value the long-term relationship with CVS and respect their commercial decision. We will work with them as they transition out of the tobacco category in the coming months."

Stopping cigarette sales comes at a price. CVS Caremark estimates it will take an annual loss of $2 billion from tobacco shoppers -- $1.5 billion in tobacco sales and the rest from other products tobacco shoppers purchase while in the store.

The company has enjoyed growing revenues in recent years, boosted by its pharmacy services business and prescription drug sales.

Rudy Eugene allegedly high on bath salts managed to attack and rip the face of a homeless man.

The Miami Police ended up serving him with lead and he would pay the price. The victim would end up having reconstructive surgery after Eugene would rip his eyes and nose off.

It's kind of crazy and the racist right was all fearing of the ZOMBIE Apocalypse.

Nowadays, this bath salts, molly and heroin are a danger to the young and even old.

This craze is happening in the country's most notorious state for problems: FLORIDA.

This marks the return of the long-fabled flesh eating zombie only seen in comics and on TV screens, because a Florida man was shot to death after he (with no clothes on) assaulted an ex-police officer and tried to tear a man’s face off with his teeth.

A naked man possessing what authorities described as superhuman-like strength died Tuesday night after he assaulted a retired police officer, bit another man on the face and was then shot during a confrontation with deputies near Delray Beach, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said.

It was not immediately clear whether the man died from gunshot wounds or from a medical condition, Bradshaw said. Neither the names of the deceased man nor the assault victims were released late Tuesday.

The scene unfolded at about 8:30 p.m. on South Military Trail, north of Lake Ida Road and near The Colony at Delray Beach community. The man, who was not wearing any clothing, was walking north on Military Trail when, for reasons unknown, he assaulted a 66-year-old retired New York City police officer, Bradshaw said.

Ron Poppo was a homeless man who didn't bother the suspect. All of a sudden the attacker rips and eat a portion of his face. This is the horrible after effects of this incident. 

The retired officer was rushed to Delray Medical Center with serious injuries. The naked man, described as being about 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, then continued north on Military toward the entrance to the Colony where began chasing a man and the man’s 10-year-old son. At some point, the man began fighting with an 18-year-old man and he started biting the 18-year-old on the face, Bradshaw said.

The 18-year-old attempted to defend himself with a box cutter knife. The teen sustained serious injuries during the fight and was taken to Delray Medical. Deputies arriving on the scene tried to calm the attacker, Bradshaw said. Deputies attempted to subdue the man with a Taser, but were unsuccessful.

“He’s obviously delirious on something,” Bradshaw said. “He is a huge guy. He takes a fighting stance.

They’re trying to get him on the ground. He starts charging them. The Taser did not affect him.”

At that point, a sheriff’s sergeant fired three shots, one to the torso and two the lower part of the man’s body. The man was rushed to Delray Medical Center where he died.

“We don’t know right now if he’s expired from the gunshots, or if he’s expired because of obviously he’s on some type of drugs that have made him act like this,” Bradshaw said. “There’s no way to know if those are the shots that actually killed him, or if he’s died from what they called exited delirium. He’s obviously on some type of narcotics to make him act like this.”

Late Tuesday, several sheriff’s patrol cars and incident command units lined a stretch of Military Trail near the entrance to the Colony. Colony resident Eddie Mady said he and his wife were out walking their dog Tuesday when they heard the gunfire.

“My wife thought it was fireworks,” Mady said. “Sometimes in the next door development some kids shoot off fireworks. But I knew it came from this direction and it didn’t sound like fireworks so I immediately grabbed my wife and our dog and said ‘Time to go back inside.”

Word of the shooting quickly spread through the neighborhood, Mady said.

“You never think something like this is going to happen where you live,” he said. “It’s a scary thing, but you never know. It can happen anywhere, anytime. Thankfully the police got him before he got into our development.”

The former Ruff Ryder was given an opportunity to take on the guy who shot and killed an unarmed teenager and managed to beat a murder charge. It's going to be a celebrity boxing match.

It seems like this is for charity. A troubled rapper who has a perennial habit of being in the iron college and an asshole who managed to scrape a visit in the iron college.

Trayvon Martin's parents kept a relatively low profile. Unfortunately, George Zimmerman and his family continue to be in the news for all the wrong reasons.

It's unfortunate that he managed to beat a second degree murder charge and still lands his stupid ass in the news.

This is a joke and a travesty of humanity. I don't understand why DMX, The Game and others want to waste their time with this pathetic man?

I don't understand why Zimmerman is profiting off the murder?

Shouldn't he find some rock that he should crawl his ass back under?
