11 In September!

The world changed on September 11, 2001.

The country's worst tragedy. September 11, 2001. Of course, we'll never forget.

Tuesday September 11, 2001 a clear day. Four airliners crash into the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The United States was caught off guard by men who hijacked planes and managed to cause one of the world's most deadliest attacks on soil.

September 11, 2001 was the day that George W. Bush was thrust into a war against a foreign terrorist organization that many barely known. Bill Clinton had dealt with this organization during the first attack at the World Trade Center, the Kenya and Tanzania embassy bombing, USS Cole, the attacks on American citizens in Saudi Arabia.

The organization al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for this mission in which apparently over a dozen individuals left their families and decided to join a conservative Sunni fundamental Islamic extremist group for a suicide mission.

Al-Qaeda was led by a Saudi Arabian man who was an heir to successful construction company. This gentleman, aided by an Egyptian doctor/activist, and a Kuwaiti engineer managed to plot a mass attack on the United States.

Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed were the backers of terrorist attack.

They saw lapses at American airports. They found that an opportunity was born when the United States lets their guard down after an election.

This tragedy brought together America.

When George W. Bush took office, many were fuming at the Supreme Court decision that allowed Florida's electoral votes go to him and the popular vote go to Al Gore, the Vice President of the United States at the time. The Texas governor's brother was John Ellis Bush (Jeb), and he was then governor of Florida at the time. Some questioned that tactics by Katherine Harris, then secretary of state and later congresswoman purging Black and Hispanic voters off the rolls. Voter irregularities and shady tactics at the polling booths.

Between all the partisan bickering and finger pointing our nation came to grips with a tragedy. Over 3,000 lives were lost that day alone. Counting the numerous injuries and property damages in New York, Washington D.C. and the rural countryside of Pennsylvania.

Bush led the nation into an endless war in Afghanistan and a now finished war in Iraq. At the time Fox News led the way to help the Bush Administration get its message out that Saddam Hussein was the bad guy and Osama bin Laden was harboring terrorism here and abroad.

When Barack Obama ran for president, he promised that he wouldn't rest until the leaders of al-Qaeda were captured or killed. His political rivals thought he was naive and foolish at the time. They were wrong.

After a landslide election, Barack Obama was elected to be president. As the successor of George W. Bush, Barack Obama inherited two wars, an economic crisis and congressional gridlock.

Osama bin Laden was killed in May 2011.
President Barack Obama managed to end the war in Iraq and is on the verge of ending the war in Afghanistan. The president is still trying to get a stubborn Congress to pass legislation that could spark growth in the economy.

And of course, the president kept his promise. May 2011, the president announced to the world that the leader of al-Qaeda was killed by the United States Military Special Operatives in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

President Barack Obama has been really aggressive on disrupting al-Qaeda and its affiliates.

The president's political foes in the Republican Party wish Osama bin Laden was still alive. They refuse to credit the president for giving the orders to take out the world's most wanted terrorist

The Republicans could never take responsibility for a tragedy. They'll blame the Democrats for every domestic or international incident whenever there's a Republican president.

George W. Bush ignored the Richard Clarke warnings. He ignored the Clinton memos. He wanted to chart his own goals.

Republicans claim that if it wasn't for Bill Clinton, the 9/11 attacks would of never happened. They claim that if it wasn't for George W. Bush, Osama bin Laden would of never been taken out. If it wasn't for the Democratic leaders of Louisiana, Hurricane Katrina's impact would of never destroyed New Orleans. If it wasn't for the Democrats and Barack Obama, we would of never had such a terrible economy. George W. Bush could never do anything wrong!

I have to admit that every year this will be a theme among the political leaders. They'll spent a few moments with families of the 9/11 victims.

CNN is the first news organization in the world to report of an airliner crashing into the World Trade Center in New York. This led to the 9/11 attacks. Carol Lin can claim credit for interrupting a Dietech commercial with the words:
"This just in. You are looking at obviously a very disturbing live shot there. That is the World Trade Center, and we have unconfirmed reports this morning that a plane has crashed into one of the towers of the World Trade Center. CNN Center right now is just beginning to work on this story, obviously calling our sources and trying to figure out exactly what happened, but clearly something relatively devastating happening this morning there on the south end of the island of Manhattan. That is once again, a picture of one of the towers of the World Trade Center."

Rush Limbaugh: End Of Days If They Elect Obama!

The end of days if they lose! Conservatives are expressing panic! They fear the Romney/Ryan Ticket is going to lose to the Obama/Biden ticket. President Barack Obama is leading in national polls after weeks of being in practically a tie.
Now you know how desperate the conservative media is, right? If you're not aware of this, then you're out of the loop. Fox News, The Drudge Report, The Daily Caller, The Blaze, Breitbart News, conservative talk radio, and the politicos around Washington are getting the feeling that their sworn enemy Barack Obama is winning the battle for the White House.

Listen to how they're predicting the end of days if they reelect Barack Obama for president. The Republicans and their conservative allies are anxious about the state of this election. The state of Ohio is leaning towards the president and Mitt Romney's campaign is starting to panic.

The Democratic Party outraised the Republican Party for the first time in three months. The post convention bump is doing President Barack Obama well.

The big voice on the right has finally snapped. He's really fearing the end of days if the American public reelects the president.

Justified outrage is aimed at Mitt Romney. Earlier this year, Rush Limbaugh declared that Mitt Romney isn't a conservative. He stated that Romney's endorsement of healthcare reform and his stance on social issues like abortion has sealed his deal as a lackluster candidate.

Romney declared that he's a "seriously conservative" candidate. Rush Limbaugh was frustrated with Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Perry. He felt that their attacks on Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain were giveaway to President Barack Obama.

Limbaugh kind of admits that the 2012 Republicans candidates were weak! He knew each of them had serious flaws. Limbaugh would rather have one of them than the president, though.

He didn't endorse the candidates for the 2012 Republican primaries.

Now that the president's getting his groove back, the conservatives are trying to rehash Ronald Reagan again! They're trying to compare this to failed Democratic candidates, former president Jimmy Carter, Michael Dukakis and Walter Mondale as an excuse to undermine the president's rise in the national polls.

Not since John F. Kennedy, has a candidate from Massachusetts ever won the presidency.

Dead Beat Congressman Knocks Sandra Fluke!

Rep. Joe Walsh in a file photo speaking in Washington, D.C. in May 2012.
Congressman Joe Walsh (R-Illinois) makes light of the Sandra Fluke controversy. He knocks her for making an appearance at the Democratic National Convention.

Congressman Joe Walsh (R-Illinois) never ceases to amaze me. He and a portion of the Republican House members are so far in the extreme, they don't even care who they attack. They're not concerned about the repercussions of their harsh words. They are welcomed with open arms with groups such as the John Birch Society, the National Rifle Association, The Heritage Foundation, Brotherhood Of A New Destiny (BOND), VDare and Family Research Council.

The Republicans are knee toed to radical extremists. They dog whistle the angry White male who is likely to cause a mass shooting in a town somewhere. And of course, Walsh, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota), Congressman Todd Akin (R-Missouri), Congressman Allen West (R-Florida), Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and even vice presidential nominee Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) pander to the most asinine human beings to ever exist in this country.

Women's rights activist Sandra Fluke
Sandra Fluke, the featured speaker at the Democratic National Convention is once again a target of conservative ire. The Tea Party endorsed candidate for reelection is trying to win a seat that's competitive.

Republicans are trying to eliminate the negativity.

Congresswoman Bachmann, Congressman West and of course Congressman Walsh are going to be written off based on how the redistricting kind of put them in heavier Democratic districts.

Fluke was attacked by Rush Limbaugh, Monica Crowley and Bill O'Reilly based on her advocacy for birth control being paid by private companies.

Fluke is engaged to her boyfriend and is a legal assistance attorney.

Walsh is a first term Congressman who won in 2010. Marred with controversy, Walsh has said themes that come off as extreme. He recently settled his legal woes with his former wife and mother of his children. He was ordered to pay $110,000 in child support. Also Citizens for Responsible and Ethics in Washington (CREW) calls Walsh one of the most corrupt politicians to be elected to office.

Walsh speaks at a gathering in Addison, Illinois. He knocks Fluke for being an "entittled" 31 years old college student. He told her to "get a job" and "stop taking from those hardworking Americans!"

This buffoon criticized Black voters for their overwhelming support for President Barack Obama over former governor and perennial candidate Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee.

A Little Bounce In His Step!

The bounce is here. An owner of a Florida pizzeria gives President Barack Obama a lift!

President Barack Obama got a good bump in the Gallup Poll.

As predicted the president managed to get above the watermark of 50% in his job approval. The conservatives are trying to rehash the Ronald Reagan legacy yet again to undermine the president's rise in the polls. The Drudge Report and The Gateway Pundit, are bitter about Mitt Romney not getting the bounce after his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

This race is a toss up and leans likely for President Obama. The pollsters are conceding that Mitt Romney's speech in which he forgotten to mention the ongoing war in Afghanistan and his inability to lay out a proper economic plan didn't do him any good. The Republican nominee's running mate Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) hasn't done any better. He works his self into a pretzel over his failed legislation and his role in defense cuts that he's denying he's voted for.

Mitt Romney goes on Meet The Press and practically put his big foot in his mouth once again when the host David Gregory asked him about his policies.

This post convention bump will fall back soon. The high gasoline prices, the unemployment numbers and of course the return of the U.S. Congress will hit the president where it hurts! The voters matter!

The debates will begin in October.

As of today by electoral college standings, President Barack Obama 247 and Mitt Romney 191.

If President Barack Obama wins Ohio or Florida, it's over! The president laid out groundwork for an election victory in which he can lose Ohio and Florida and yet still win.

The state I reside in is Ohio. The state is a most important of all elections. This state can make or break a candidate. The incumbents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush both lost the state of Ohio.

They were elected to be the president when they carried Ohio, but went on to lost the state in their reelection  bid. Therefore they've lost the election.

The most present day presidents.

Jimmy Carter beats incumbent Gerald Ford in 1976 with 297 over 240 (Carter carried Florida and Ohio).

Ronald Reagan beats incumbent Jimmy Carter in 1980 with 489 over 49 (Reagan carried Florida and Ohio).

Ronald Reagan won reelection against Walter Mondale in 1984 with 525 over 13 (Reagan carried Florida and Ohio).

George H.W. Bush beats Michael Dukakis in 1988 with 426 over 111 (Bush carried Florida and Ohio).

Bill Clinton beats George H.W. Bush in 1992 with 370 over 168 (Clinton lost Florida but carried Ohio).

Bill Clinton won reelection against Bob Dole in 1996 with 379 over 159 (Clinton carried Florida and Ohio).

George W. Bush beats Al Gore in 2000 with 271 over 266 (Bush carried Florida and Ohio)*.

George W. Bush won reelection over John Kerry in 2004 with 286 over 251 (Bush carried Florida and Ohio).

Barack Obama beats John McCain in 2008 with 365 over 173 (Obama carried Florida and Ohio).

Before I go, I want to share an opportunity to explain why Mitt Romney can't win. For starters, this guy can't deliver a message that reasons with the American people. David Gregory gave Mitt Romney the softball interview on Meet The Press and yet this guy couldn't even answer a simple question without throwing a word salad together with a side of Obama name drops.

So [Conservatives] Are Mad That Snoop Dogg Endorsed Barack Obama?

Snoop Dogg endorses Barack Obama. Took on the name Snoop Lion for a new album.
Snoop Dogg, the world famous rapper and advocate for the legalization of marijuana, has endorsed President Barack Obama for reelection. Reinventing himself as the reggae singer Snoop Lion, the entertainer has been in the crosshairs of conservative ire. The rapper has a long history of arrest records for possession of his "sticky icky" and disorderly conduct. In 1994, he managed to beat a murder rap. After releasing two successful albums, Snoop left the controversial rap label Death Row Records in 1998.

Death Row Records was the home of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Lady Of Rage, and a newly freed Tupac Shakur. The rap label was founded by Dr. Dre and Marion "Suge" Knight. The label dissolved in 2010 after Knight failed to pay for its past debts. Big Suge has been feuding with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for years. He felt that Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg sold out when Death Row was at its peak of success.

The Drudge Report has worked itself into a frenzy when the rapper stated his interest in Barack Obama being the choice for fixing the struggling economy.

Where was Matt Drudge when the rapper endorsed Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas)?

Last year, the rapper was in favor of the Republican congressman and perennial candidate for president.

Congressman Paul's controversial stances including deregulating to marijuana and cocaine laws and mandatory pull out of U.S. military from the war in Afghanistan, and repealing laws that could hurt the middle and lower class.

While in Canada, the endorsement was made, the controversy ensued.

"[Former President George W.] Bush fucked up for eight years so you at least gotta give (Obama) eight years. He cleaned up half the shit in four years realistically,' the rapper said on Friday.

'It ain't like you gave him a clean house. Y'all gave him a house with a TV that didn't work, the toilet was stuffed up; everything was wrong with the house.'

Americans "need to give Obama four more years," Snoop added during a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he premiered a documentary on his turn to reggae under the moniker Snoop Lion.

"Then he went and knocked down the most hated, most wanted, the one who had our terror alert on Orange or Red, whatever color it was on," Snoop said. "He went and found him, the one that Bush couldn't seem to find, that seemed to fly away the day of 9/11. Remember all that? He went and found him and knocked him down, so don't forget about that. Now everybody is peaceful and able to move and have a good time -- it's because he made that happen."

Like most Americans, it seems, Snoop has evidently been paying attention to the Democratic National Convention. "You heard what Clinton said. You loved Clinton, didn't you?" he said. "Give [Obama] four more years to get his thang together and finish his deal out."

Snoop Dogg aged 40, who appeared in an all-white outfit with a white rastacap over his long hair, was asked numerous times whether he would continue to play his rap songs in the wake of his transformation. "One thing about me as a performer, I understand the business," he said. "A lot of my fans want Snoop Dogg, and I'm gonna give it to them. I can give you a little bit of both, or I can give you one or the other -- it depends on what the people want. And whatever the people want, I'm gonna give it to em, up close and personal."

He also cleared away any confusion over whether he will continue to use the name Snoop Dogg or switch entirely to Snoop Lion, the moniker imprinted on his name tag during the press event. "I'm Snoop motherfuckin' Dogg till the day I die, but at the same time when I'm making my reggae music I'm in the light of the Lion. But if you disrespect me or get out of pocket, you will get the motherfucking dog."

Drudge be lion, dogg!

The Drudge Report post stories that paint President Barack Obama and the Black community in a negative light.
The race-baiting gay conservative agitator is strongly in favor of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. The conservative agitator's website The Drudge Report zeroed in on the rap legend's endorsement of Barack Obama for president. He knows that Romney isn't going to win any of the Black vote. So in order to rile up people who think Snoop Dogg is a "natural born criminal" and President Barack Obama is a "racist", Drudge put this on his website.

The conservatives want to rile up White voters who have bigoted views towards race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings.

Besides Snoop Dogg, many other entertainers endorse the president.

Jay-Z, Chris Rock, Madonna, Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria, Kanye West, Scarlett Johannson, Denzel Washington, and Samuel L. Jackson been in the crosshairs of conservative ire for endorsing the president.

Dr. Dre Tops Forbes Richest Rappers!

Rappers Dr. Dre (L) and Snoop Dogg may be together on stage, but the Dr. is the only one on the Forbes’ annual list of Cash Kings — not that Snoop is hurting for green.
Mighty D.R.E. Is Still Beating The Boards And Packing In The Millions. Rapper/producer Dr. Dre is Forbes Magazine's richest rappers. His estimated earnings top over $110 million in 2011. Beats By Dre are the successful headphones from the rapper. He attended the 2012 Coachella Festival with Snoop Dogg. Big Snoop is releasing a reggae album under the moniker Snoop Lion.
We're still waiting on the comeback of Andre Young, 47, professionally known as Dr. Dre. The famed album producer and original gangsta has crafted the works of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and newcomer Kendrick Lamar.

Andre Romelle Young (born February 18, 1965), is an American rapper, record producer, record executive, entrepreneur, bodybuilder and occasional actor. He is the founder and current CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and a former co-owner and artist of Death Row Records.

The Mighty Mighty D.R.E. is the world's richest rapper. He beats out media mogul/rapper Jay-Z, Kanye West, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Lil' Wayne and Eminem.

The good doctor hasn't released an album since his masterpiece [Chronic] 2001 in 1999.

Dr. Dre was working on the long awaited Detox album. The album is slated for release in 2013. The album was scrapped this year after numerous tracks failed to bring mainstream buzz. The first single "Kush" with Akon and Snoop Dogg was released last year. The second single was a leftover from Eminem but it was released. "I Need A Doctor" was released a few weeks later. He decided to focus on Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent's album releases.

The Beats By Dre headphones are a factor to the riches. Besides the royalties and the rap label Aftermath Entertainment, Dr. Dre is a self-made man.

Dre began his career in music as a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru and he later found fame with the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella which popularized the use of explicit lyrics in rap to detail the violence of street life which lead to the controversial albums Straight Outta Compton and Niggaz4Life.

Dr. Dre is credited to the success of Eminem (right) and 50 Cent (center).
Since the days of co-founding the gangsta rap label Death Row with former business partner Marion "Suge" Knight, Dre had released the classic Tha Chronic. The mix of g-funk, weed smokin', soul friendly and truly gangsta classics.

He produced Snoop Dogg's debut album Doggystyle, produced the hit single "California Love" off Tupac Shakur's All Eyez On Me and made notable contributions to Tha Dogg Pound.

Dr. Dre has made enemies in his time reaching the top.

The feud with Suge Knight is an ongoing saga. Dr. Dre has sued the media mogul for royalties of the albums he produced and played a role in having his old label shut down. Dre left Death Row in 1994 after the label got involved with the Bloods street gang. Even Tupac Shakur released singles targeting Dre for selling out.

Dr. Dre got involved in the conflicts with Atlanta producer/rapper Jermaine Dupri. Dupri declared his production skills was bigger than Dr. Dre and Timbaland. Dre, Eminem and West Coast rapper Xzibit sent Dupri numerous responses about his "obsession with little boys!" They ended the feud in 2001.

When Dr. Dre signed 50 Cent to the label, he and Eminem were engaged in a feud with Murder, Inc. Records and their main act Ja Rule. Ja Rule claims that 50 Cent's rise to fame was a sham. Ja Rule warned Eminem and Dr. Dre not to side with 50 Cent in this feud. This lead to a major feud which elevated to near violence. Ja Rule allied with The Source Magazine co-owner rapper Raymond Scott (known as Benzino) in a public boycott campaign of 50 Cent and Eminem. Dr. Dre's longtime mentor Jimmy Iovine decided to pull advertising from the magazine and move revenue to The Source's rival magazine XXL.

Dr. Dre has engaged in a minor conflict with 50 Cent. When 50 Cent decided to ditch Beats By Dre to jump onto Sleek Audio for his own headphones, he made Dr. Dre angry. The rapper threaten to leave after the conflict and Dr. Dre's lack of attention on his follow up albums. The conflict was resolved and Dr. Dre will produce a fraction of 50 Cent's album which is slated for Winter 2013.

Dre has produced albums for Jay-Z, Game, Nas, Ice Cube, Eve, Gwen Stefani, T.I., Rick Ross, half-brother Warren G, Nate Dogg, Lil' Wayne, Mary J. Blige, The D.O.C., Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Slimm Tha Mobster, Xzibit, and Obie Trice.

The World's Richest Rappers
  • Dr. Dre (Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Sean "Puffy" Combs (Diddy) (Bad Boy Records)
  • Jay-Z (Roc-A-Fella Records/Roc Nation)
  • Kanye West (Roc-A-Fella Records)
  • Lil' Wayne (Cash Money Records)
  • Bryan "Baby" Williams (Birdman) (Cash Money Records)
  • 50 Cent (Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Drake (Cash Money Records)
  • Nicki Minaj (Cash Money Records)
  • Eminem (Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Ludacris (Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam Records)

Most of these entertainers comes from Universal Music Group. The home of Def Jam, Motown, and Interscope Records.

* UPDATE: The Drudge Report is making light of Snoop Dogg's endorsement of Barack Obama. Again the race baiting gay conservative agitator is trying to find reasons to dog whistle white voters. Mitt Romney and his campaign are desperate. They're in the process of throwing everything including the kitchen sink at President Barack Obama. I will cover the Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion) endorsement of Barack Obama in the next day!

Did He Tease? A$AP Rocky Gets A Hold Of Rihanna!

A$AP Rocky and many others appear at the MTV Music Awards. The biggest controversy of the week was the rapper's grab of the pop singer Rihanna's bottom. This was done after a performance in front of Rihanna's former boyfriend and pop rival Chris Brown.

The MTV Music Awards headline winners included the pop singer, fellow pop singer Katy Perry, band One Direction, rappers/singers Nicki Minaj and labelmate Drake (with Lil' Wayne), British rapper M.I.A., singer Calvin Harris, media mogul/singer Beyonce, Demi Lovato and rocker Skrillex.

The awards occurred during President Barack Obama's acceptance speech and will likely overshadow.

Most people are into popular themes like controversial entertainers such as Rihanna, Eminem, Madonna, Lil' Wayne, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry.

The 49er Democracy Experience - Special Report #4

Crash Course!

    8.1%
    FED SET TO PUMP

Ok, the conservatives are going to cry foul.

The job reports are out and now we're seeing a modest improvement. The Labor Department has reported that 96,000 jobs were created in the month of August dropping the job rate to 8.1%

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Conservatives will think the books are being cooked to help President Barack Obama win reelection. The progressives will say that jobs are here and the president is delivering. The only thing standing in their way is Republican obstruction.

Republicans and Democrats will debate over the remaining term trying to pass an extension of the national debt, another jobs bill and making tougher decisions to keep the economy rolling.

Now as for the Drudge Report's siren, it's a trademark of a juicy story sponsored by the conservative agitator. He rang the alarm signaling the conservatives that there's something big or something deceptive about this one!

President Barack Obama is an embattled president. He just finished his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. He acknowledged that the path to the future isn't solved in four years.

Mitt Romney is the weakest nominee for president.

The Republican has crafted himself as a successful business executive (not a former governor and perennial candidate for higher office). He leads in the national polls as the best one to handle the economy. But his poll numbers are sliding downward.

He maintain his stance as a effective problem solver and yet he hasn't put forth policies that could match or better the embattled president. He has been practicing for the national debates where he could use a backdrop of failed policies or controversies such as the job report to hammer the president.

Congress is at is worst. The Republican-led House of Representatives hasn't achieved much of their goals. They've pass the infamous Paul Ryan Austerity Bill only to be stopped by the Democratic-led Senate. The President's job package is passed by the Senate but halted by the House. Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) is the vice presidential nominee of the Mitt Romney ticket. He's a longtime fixture in Washington, DC. He hasn't really produced much until his rise in late 2010.

Congress job approval is at a record low of 10% according to Gallup.

President Barack Obama is right now feeling a convention bounce which could tip him over the watermark of over 50% in the coming days. But it will decrease very soon. The issues of high gasoline prices, still unemployment is over 8%, the debt is over $16 trillion and the war in Afghanistan are dragging him and Congress down.

Mitt Romney wanted to be a Washington insider for most of his political life. He's failed. His only bright side to the issues that the world is facing, is the fact that Romney is a new face to Washington.

Even though he's long been out of office, Romney thinks he could be the best one!

President Barack Obama urges patience. The country is on the right path. The constant obstruction from his political rivals stalled progress and the American public should know this.

If it wasn't for the third rail, I guess he would be more effective.

Update: Republican nominee Mitt Romney stated that the unemployment drop in simple fashion. 'If Last Night Was The Party, This Morning Is The Hangover'.

The White House released a statement saying that there's sign of modest growth in our economy.

133 Days: The Democratic Supermajority!

For 133 days not two years, President Barack Obama's Democratic Party had a majority of the Congress.

When will the Republican Party ever tell the American people the truth?

Fox News, The Drudge Report, conservative talk radio and the Mitt Romney Presidential Campaign have produced the message, "Are You Better Off 4 Years Ago?"

Stephen Colbert debunks the claim.

If they thought the Democrats had two years of filibuster proof U.S. Senate, they're completely wrong.

The Democrats managed to obtain 60 senators after two events. First things. You have conservative Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Connecticut) and liberal Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont). They caucus with the Democrats which gave them 58. Arlen Specter, the Pennsylvania senator who was a moderate Republican endorsed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (The Stimulus). When Republicans ceased their fundraising for the senator, he defected and joined the Democrats giving them 59 votes.

The Minnesota recount. When Minnesota senator Norm Coleman and then GOP governor Tim Pawlenty challenged the count of declared winner actor/writer Al Franken, they delayed his seating for six months. The victory of Al Franken finally gave the Democrats 60 votes in July 2009.

This short lived supermajority had its effective strategy to passing legislation. But when it came to the final leg of the year, they've seen the death of Massachusetts senator Ted Kennedy. That put the Democrats in a vine. They had an interim senator fill the void. But the seat was then occupied in January 2010 by Scott Brown, a little known state legislator who rose to become a voice of the conservative Tea Party Movement.  The death of West Virginia senator Robert Byrd put the Democrats at 58. The people of West Virginia elected their governor Joe Manchin to fill the remaining term of Byrd. Manchin has hinted that he'll defect to the Republicans if he manages to win reelection in 2012.

So what the Democrats had was 58 senators. In 2010 U.S. Midterms the Democrats lost seats in Illinois, North Dakota, Massachusetts, Arkansas, Indiana, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.

Overall the Democrats have 51 members with two independents and Republicans have 47 members. The Republicans are likely going to recapture the United States Senate.

When Republicans and their conservative allies appear in the media, you'll hear them lie about the so-called Obama Majority. They'll claim that the Democrats managed to pass everything that the president wanted. They claim that the Democrats and President Obama failed.

You also got to admit that members of the Republican Party had openly stated that they'll never support President Barack Obama whatsoever. Rush Limbaugh, the conservative agitator declared he hope the president failed. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) stated his only mission for his Republican allies is to deny the president a second term.

Whenever the president or his campaign team go onto the Fox News Channel, they're expected to have a combative interview with the host.

Whether it's Chris Wallace, the folks over at Fox & Friends or even the primetime conservative agitators, President Barack Obama and his team understand the purpose of the network.

The network is conservative. It's pro-Romney. It's misled viewers with stories that paint the president as an enemy of the state.

“The claim that Obama ruled like a monarch over Congress for two years — endlessly intoned as a talking point by Republicans — is more than just a misremembering of recent history or excited overstatement,” the Chicago Tribune‘s Eric Zorn wrote. “It’s a lie.”

“It’s meant to represent that Obama’s had his chance to try out his ideas, and to obscure and deny the relentless GOP obstructionism and Democratic factionalism he’s encountered since Day One,” he explained.

“They seem to figure if they repeat this often enough, you’ll believe it.”

Democrats only had a filibuster proof majority for 133 days.

The president goes back on the campaign trail. The president's DNC speech was overshadowed by former president Bill Clinton. But still it was the most praised acceptance speech by President Barack Obama.

Like Republican Mitt Romney, the main headliner was overshadowed by Governor Chris Christie (R-New Jersey) and actor Clint Eastwood.

A bonus feature.

Talking Points Memo is a liberal investigative blog. The website debunks the Republican National Committee's newest campaign ad. It features a former Obama supporter who actually is a paid RNC staffer.

The recent commercials and the Romney/Ryan ticket have produced the new slogan "Obama's Isn't Working!" They're desperate. They are now trying to find "disappointed Obama voters" to make it appear that the president's likability ratings are negative. This is also the infamous video in which a "white woman is upset with a Black man over an issue!"

We know what it means, grab the dog whistle and blow again!

Barack Obama: We're Moving Forward!

President Barack Obama makes his case for reelection.

What did he say?

How would you grade this speech? A success or a flop?

I know it's not the passionate speeches from First Lady Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton, but it's worth the wait. It wasn't a boring speech. It was way better than Mitt Romney's acceptance speech for the Republican nomination.

President Barack Obama accepts the nomination for the Democratic Party. The embattled president is facing  a tougher reelection this time. And tonight's speech on the floor of the Time Warner Cable Arena is......modest at best. I mean I was hoping for the dazzle and sparkle, and the magic of 2008.

Well, I mean they did canceled the Bank Of America stadium event due to "rain"! It seems like he couldn't fill a soup bowl.

President Barack Obama didn't bring out the best, but it was well worth the wait. I mean the president acknowledged his achievements and knocked his rival Republican Mitt Romney for lacking the courage to stand in the face of an economic crisis.

The optimism is growing but will it help.

The election map is looking better for the president but still it's a long road ahead.

Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nevada, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, and New Hampshire could make or break President Barack Obama.

The map has the president sitting at 247 electoral votes and Mitt Romney at 191.

If President Barack Obama wins either Ohio or Florida and any state he's carried in 2008, he wins.

Mitt Romney has a long way to go in order to beat the president.

Tonight the president accepts the nomination for reelection.

The Passion Of Joe Biden!

A then young man who became a Vice President. From the state of Delaware a senator becomes Barack Obama's running mate and now the second man to the presidency.

The passion of Joesph Robinette Biden. The average "Joe" as most describe him. The president's right hand man makes a spiritual speech at the Democratic National Convention.

Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and lived there for ten years before moving to Delaware. He became an attorney in 1969, and was elected to a county council in 1970. Biden was first elected to the Senate in 1972 and became the sixth-youngest senator in U.S. history. He was re-elected to the Senate six times, was the fourth most senior senator at the time of his resignation, and is the 15th-longest serving Senator in history. Biden was a long-time member and former chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.

His strong advocacy helped bring about U.S. military assistance and intervention during the Bosnian War. He opposed the Gulf War in 1991. He voted in favor of the Iraq War Resolution in 2002, but later proposed resolutions to alter U.S. strategy there.

He has also served as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, dealing with issues related to drug policy, crime prevention, and civil liberties, and led creation of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act and Violence Against Women Act. He chaired the Judiciary Committee during the contentious U.S. Supreme Court nominations of Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas.

Biden unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and 2008, both times dropping out early in the race.

Barack Obama selected Biden to be the Democratic Party nominee for Vice President in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Biden is the first Roman Catholic and the first Delawarean to become Vice President of the United States. As Vice President, Biden has been heavily involved in Obama's decision-making process and held the oversight role for infrastructure spending from the Obama stimulus package aimed at counteracting the late-2000s recession.

His ability to negotiate with Congressional Republicans played a key role in bringing about the bipartisan deals that resulted in the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 that resolved a taxation deadlock and the Budget Control Act of 2011 that resolved the United States debt ceiling crisis.

Joe Biden has been instrumental in deal making with the stubborn Republican leaders in Congress.

This year, the election took at turn with the vice president's "put y'all back in chains" comment. Just like the president's "you didn't build that" comment, the Republicans seized upon the comments and took it to the campaign.

Tonight Vice President Joe Biden makes a passionate plea for the reelection of Barack Obama for president.
