Mr. Bob Jones is the face of Truth Social. |
Gettr, the far right platform created by a disgraced dead beat Republican consultant who slept with prostitutes, abused his wife, barely sees his children, told a woman to get an abortion, impregnated and confirmed the birth of his son with former conservative writer A.J. Delgado; plus he owes child support is beating his old boss's new social platform.
Truth Social has not taken off as expected. The former president and Karen Nunes' platform from TMTG is plummeting bigly.
Washed Up 45 is banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, DailyMotion and Spotify.
He has been using Gab, Rumble and other platforms that cater to far right agitators who were banned from the mainstream platforms.
Truth Social was supposed to be the Twitter for the right and an uncensored *wink, wink* media for all thoughts to be shared without the fear of being kicked off.
So they say.
While the app saw more than 800,000 downloads in its launch week, that number has declined to around 60,000 between March 20-27, according to data from the mobile insights company Sensor Tower.
"We estimate that Truth Social has so far reached approximately 1.2 million installs since its launch," Sensor Tower spokeswoman Stephanie Chan told the Wrap. The website also saw a significant drop in traffic. While the website saw its numbers start out around 6 million weekly visits in the first week, according to Similarweb, that number dropped to 1.9 million weekly visits between March 20-27.
While the former president attempted to promote Truth Social during its release, he has yet to post more than once on the network since its launch. Its access has also been limited by its exclusivity to the Apple App Store. While Truth Social announced that it intended to release an Android app, the release date for the app is to be determined. Several conservative influencers have also expressed doubts about the long-term viability of the networks.
