Nipsey Hussle's life mattered. |
Three years ago, Airmeiss "Ermias" J. Asghedom left this world with a legacy of hip-hop culture, icon status and a heart of gold. A man who turned his life of gang life around to make music and become a legend in the game.
Long live Nipsey Hussle.
Nip left behind his grief stricken fiance, Lauren London, their son and his older daughter from a previous relationship. Nip didn't get that opportunity to see his son grow up or his daughter become a woman.
It was senseless gun violence that took his life. And the suspect who shot him is expected to face trial.
The rapper was gunned down by this Black terrorist outside his Marathon Clothing store. He was shot 10 times outside the store.
The terrorist was upset over Nip not giving him props for his crappy rap skills. I mean it was a personal matter that led to this thug shooting him.
The terrorist shot him in his right chest, right side of his shoulder, one in his navel that shattered his spinal cord, one on the back of his scalp. The terrorist also kicked his body while shooting him.
Nipsey Hussle leaves behind two children. |
The terrorist is expected to go to trial this year There were numerous delays due to the high profile status of the case, the fears the suspect could be under "suicide watch" and the threats of retaliation.
If convicted, he faces LIFE or DEATH. The likelihood of death is possible given how far he went to maliciously murder a man. The people who aided in his fleeing are also facing criminal charges as well.
They will be criminally charged either as complicit or aiding and abetting.
The incident was one of thing I've covered in 2019.
Nip was a person who focused on "giving solutions and inspiration" to young Black and Latino men.
He told the tales of being a trouble teen who rolled with the domestic terrorist group the Rollin' 60s, a Blood-affiliated group.
He was trying to build a legacy. From ownership to leadership was the motto of Nipsey Hussle.
He even had a minor appears in The CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The series star Rachel Bloom had invited him to write the song "The Sexy Getting Ready Song" and it helped build his talents.
This scumbag is on suicide watch. |
It kind of sucks. You never hear about them until they pass away. Trust me, folks who never heard of Nipsey Hussle are now claiming he's like the future Tupac.
No, Nipsey was Nipsey.
He was his own style of rap. He never shied away from being a West Coast rapper who turned his life of being on the streets to being a legendary rapper and activist.
We miss him.
The Marathon Continues!
