The armed lawyers are getting criminally charged. |
Now the St. Louis city prosecutor is going to criminally charge the two for unlawful use of weapons.
But Gov. Mike Parson, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Donald J. Trump and Fox News are trying to intervene. They are calling for an investigation into the actions of the St. Louis prosecutor and her actions.
Lawyers, Patricia and Mark McCloskey claim they were defending their home. However, the protesters weren't heading to their home, they were heading to mayor Lyda Krewson's home.
They overreacted and intimidate non-confrontational protesters wielding firearms.
Kim Gardner, who filed the charges against the two did not order the couple to surrender or be arrested. Instead she gave them an option, take diversion classes or face time in the city lockup.
Well it seems like the two aren't willing to take diversion. They are going full throttle.
Gardner, an African American prosecutor is getting death threats and direct attacks from Fox News and the McCloskeys.
The McCloskeys appeared on Fox News to rant about how they're being targeted for protecting their home.
Kim Gardner is not intimidated by the Republican governor Mike Parson. |
First things first, they aren't criminals. They are protesters. They didn't commit any criminal act towards that couple nor they endorsed criminality. They went onto private road to protest a mayor's decision to ignore police reform. These two white privileged jackasses wanted to bring the noise.
They have the audacity to criticize a Black woman who is pretty much on her game.
In a statement released on Monday, Gardner gave the two idiots an olive branch.
"It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protests. I believe this would serve as a fair resolution to this matter."
The St. Louis Police obtained a search warrant and seized the two guns brandished by the couple.
Soon Republicans began their attack on the Black prosecutor.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) wants Kim Gardner investigated. |
Gardner dismissed the critics. She said that Trump and his allies are planning a coordinated attack to distract Americans from the issue of criminality from the McCloskeys.
"[This is] a modern-day night night. [Hawley's letter offers] a dog whistle of racist rhetoric and cronyism politics."
The McCloskeys are terrible lawyers. They seem to be one the scale of tort and frivolous.
They have a history of filing lawsuits including against their own property managers, claimed that they acted appropriately after "a mob" smashed their way through the private development gate.
The gate was fine and they didn't rush through. They didn't go onto the property of the McCloskeys.
Missouri governor Mike Parson threatened to commute the armed couple's sentence. |
We have seen how protection works in white America.
If the McCloskeys fail to agree to the terms of Gardner's plea deal, the two could face up to five years in the iron college if convicted in Missouri.
Parson is threatening to commute and pardon the two if they are convicted.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
