Bobby Wamack Passes Away!

Today we lost a great singer and inspiration to hip-hop and R & B. Bobby Wamack, famed singer passed away today. We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Bobby Wamack.

Reuters reports Womack, who rose within the gospel music community in the 1950s, became a key figure in the R&B genre, and is best known for hits including "Lookin' For A Love," "That's The Way I Feel About 'Cha," and "Woman's Gotta Have It."

An active recording artist since the early 1960s, when he started his career as the lead singer of his family musical group The Valentinos and as Sam Cooke's backing guitarist, Womack's career has spanned more than 50 years and has spanned a repertoire in the styles of R&B, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, gospel, and country.

Womack wrote and originally recorded The Rolling Stones' first UK No. 1 hit, "It's All Over Now" and New Birth's "I Can Understand It" among other songs. As a singer he is most notable for the hits "Lookin' For a Love", "That's The Way I Feel About Cha", "Woman's Gotta Have It", "Harry Hippie", "Across 110th Street" and his 1980s hit "If You Think You're Lonely Now".

In 2009, Womack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

SCOTUS Rules Big!

Cameras aren't allowed in the Supreme Court. Recording devices are limited to audio. A courtroom sketcher will display the reactions of those in the courtroom.

Two major decision came from the U.S. Supreme Court. They managed to not only deal a blow to law enforcement agencies but also start up companies that advocate advancements in the digital age.

First things first, have you ever posted anything incriminating on your phone?

Have you ever posted something that you know will get you in trouble?

Think about that young woman who posted on the social networks and on her phone. She was the one who robbed a bank. Hannah Sabata got 20 years in the iron college for that incident. Before the Court decision, the boys in blue would have checked her phone for incriminating evidence. No more.

The law must now get a warrant to look into a person's phone. Today the landmark decision given by the Court unanimously held that search and seizure of digital contents of a cell phone during an arrest is unconstitutional.

The case arose from a split among state and federal courts over the cell phone search incident to arrest (SITA) doctrine. The Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Circuits have ruled that officers can search cell phones to arrest under various standards. That rule has been followed by the Supreme Courts of Georgia, Massachusetts, and California. Other courts in the First Circuit and the Supreme Courts of Florida and Ohio disagreed.

Now if you want to see your local news on the phone or through the computer. It may be even harder to stream the service if you're not licensed by the company. The Court ruled that online streaming service Aereo violated copyright when they were charging fees to stream local programs over their programming. This means that any start up business that wants to stream programming that comes off the free broadcast will be subject to infringement and shut down.

Broadcasters argued that Aereo was a threat both to their business model, by undermining the cable retransmission fees and the size of their audience.

Because the fees cable companies pay for broadcast content can comprise up to 10% of a broadcaster's revenue, broadcasters object to Aereo's re-distribution of this content without paying any fees. Broadcasters have also identified Aereo as part of the cord-cutting trend among television audiences that poses a threat to broadcasters' advertising revenue.

Aereo was sued for copyright infringement by a consortium of major broadcasters, including CBS Corporation's CBS, Comcast's NBC, Disney's ABC and 21st Century Fox's Fox.

The broadcasters argued that Aereo infringed their copyrighted material because Aereo's streams constituted public performances. They sought a preliminary injunction against the company. On July 11, Federal Judge Alison Nathan denied this injunction, citing as precedent the 2008 Cablevision case, which established the legality of cloud-based streaming and DVR services.

In response to the decision, Aereo Founder and CEO Chet Kanojia said “Today’s decision shows that when you are on the right side of the law, you can stand up, fight the Goliath and win.”

In a subsequent interview with CNET, Kanojia asserted, “With one step, we changed the entire TV industry. The television industry and its evolution are now starting towards the Internet and that was stopped until Aereo came along...And I think as consumers start migrating to the Internet, new programming and new content are going to come in.

The Court decided in favor of the broadcasters on June 25 in a 6-3 decision and remanded the case with Justices Scalia, Thomas and Alito dissenting. The Court's decision describes Aereo as not being "simply an equipment provider," with an "overwhelming likeness to cable companies" that "performs petitioners' works 'publicly.'" Further, the Court adds that its decision should not discourage the emergence or use of different kinds of technologies, a conclusion that will remain to be seen.

Research was obtained through the SCOTUS Blog and Wikipedia to conclude the summary of this decision.

These decisions are monumental. The Court's rulings will affect the digital age. The Roberts Court is pretty damn conservative. The swing is Anthony Kennedy and he's tolled the line toward libertarian. These decisions are pretty much setbacks to law enforcement and digital technology.

Dayton Bus Driver "Saved" By The Bible Under Fire For Making The Whole Thing Up!

Story falling apart for the "hero" bus driver.

Well I don't like to say to the world that I've told you so, but damn it I told you so!

I wondering if that racial asshat Colin Flaherty will recant that story about Black thugs. After all he's way obsessed with this Black on White crime narrative that drove him to Loserville and far right blogs.

Earlier this year, a Greater Dayton RTA bus driver was shot three times and stabbed once by three Black assailants.

These three assailants were trying to do a gang initiation. They were hunting for polar bears. He happen to be a polar bear.

The RTA bus driver survived on the skin of his teeth. He had a bible in his pocket. After all he was shot in the chest.

Today, the news broke that Rickey Waggoner's story is "unfounded". What does that mean?

It means that fucktard lied and will likely be charged with filing a misleading police report. The former RTA bus driver's story didn't constrain with the injuries.

The Dayton Daily News reports that Dayton police said in a press conference today that the case into a RTA bus driver who said he was shot and stabbed by three assailants is being closed as unfounded, meaning the case was not found to be factual as reported by the victim.
Somehow those Black assailants managed to shoot Waggoner in the foot. This fucktard's story about Black thugs is falling apart..
In the Feb. 24 incident, RTA bus driver Rickey Wagoner told police he was shot and stabbed in the 1900 block of Lakeview Avenue, while standing outside of his electric-powered trolley bus investigating why it lost power.

Police said Wagoner’s injuries were not consistent with defensive wounds, but were consistent with hesitation wounds. Wagoner told police he heard one of the suspects tell another to kill him “if you want to be all the way in the club” and that they were there to “shoot a polar bear” — street lingo for a white person.

Wagoner told investigators he believed the shooting might have been a gang initiation. Wagoner told police three shots were fired — one struck him in the right leg and two were fired into his chest. He told police he wrestled the gun away from the shooter, but he was stabbed by another in the left arm.

Wagoner was off the bus for a total of seven minutes and 20 seconds, and surveillance cameras did not capture any audio or video for the first five minutes. The sound of several shots fired were caught on surveillance. Dayton police Chief Richard Biehl said the gunshots were in reverse order of what one would expect in the situation that Wagoner described.

Two bullets were found lodged in a book titled, ““The Message,” which is a modern translation of the Bible that was inside Wagoner’s front pocket. Biehl said it’s “not credible” that bullets were fired into the book without penetrating the torso. Several ballistic tests were conducted using the same weapon and ammunition that were used in the incident. Biehl said bullets penetrated “The Message” during ballistic testing, but when the book was placed on asphalt, bullets did not penetrate the book.

The only DNA identified at the scene was of Wagoner’s, Biehl said.

In a surveillance video from inside the bus, Wagoner can be seen getting back onto the bus and driving it down the street after gunshots were heard. In the video, Wagoner tells an RTA dispatcher he’s been shot.

Biehl noted how Wagoner was not winded in the video, which is unexpected given that he had just “fought for his life” by his own admission and ran 200 to 300 feet.

Biehl said police have worked with the RTA to determine what could have caused the bus to lose power, and the reason cannot be explained or recreated.

The FBI also launched an investigation into the incident as a potential hate crime.

Wagoner is a ten-year veteran bus driver described by RTA as having an excellent work record. RTA released a statement today saying Wagoner has been charged with violations of RTA’s Employee Standards of Performance. He will receive an opportunity to present evidence in support of his position, as would any RTA employee, according to the release.

Charges have not been filed.

Casey Kasem Passes Away!

Legendary DJ Casey Kasem passes away and a family feud sparks.

Famed DJ and voice actor Casey Kasem passes away today. There was a controversy brewing between members of the family.

Kasem was an American disc jockey, radio personality and actor, best known for being the host of the music radio programs American Top 40, American Top 20, and American Top 10 from 1970 until his retirement in 2009, and for providing the voice of Norville "Shaggy" Rogers in the Scooby-Doo franchise from 1969 to 1997, and again from 2002 until 2009.

Kasem founded the American Top 40 franchise in 1970, along with Don Bustany, Tom Rounds and Ron Jacobs, and hosted it from 1970 to 1988 and from 1998 to 2004. Between January 1989 and early 1998, he was the host of Casey's Top 40, Casey's Hot 20, and Casey's Countdown. Also beginning in 1998, Kasem hosted two adult contemporary spin-offs of American Top 40, American Top 20, and American Top 10. Kasem retired from AT20 and AT10 on July 4, 2009 and both shows ended on that day.

In addition to his radio shows, Kasem provided the voice of many commercials; had done many voices for Sesame Street; provided the character voice of Peter Cottontail in the Rankin/Bass production of Here Comes Peter Cottontail; was the voice of NBC; helped out with the annual Jerry Lewis telethon; and provided the cartoon voices of Robin in Super Friends, Mark on Battle of the Planets, and a number of characters for the Transformers cartoon series of the 1980s. In 2008, he was the voice of Out of Sight Retro Night which aired on WGN America, but was replaced by rival Rick Dees. After 40 years, Kasem retired from his role of voicing Shaggy in 2009, although he did voice Shaggy's father in the 2010 TV series, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.

Kasem's wife Jean is a certified nutjob.

She had joint custody of Kasem and held back information about his whereabouts.

Casey Kasem had three children from a previous marriage: Kerri, Julie, and Mike Kasem.

In October 2013, Kerri Kasem said that her father was suffering from Parkinson's disease; a few months later, she said Casey Kasem had been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, which is often difficult to differentiate from Parkinson's.

Due to his condition, he was no longer able to speak.

On October 1, 2013, Kerri Kasem, her siblings and Casey Kasem's brother protested outside Casey and Jean Kasem's home, saying Jean Kasem had been preventing contact with Casey Kasem for three months.

Six days later, Julie Kasem and her husband, Dr. Jamil Aboulhosn, filed a conservatorship petition to place Casey Kasem under their care. The court denied their petition.

On May 12, 2014, Kerri Kasem was granted conservatorship over Jean Kasem's objection.

The court also ordered an investigation into Casey Kasem's whereabouts, after Jean Kasem's attorney argued that the court had no jurisdiction because he was "no longer in the United States" but did not give further information to the court about his whereabouts.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Casey Kasem.

Conservative Outrage Over Ta-Nehisi Coates' Piece On Reparations!

Ta-Nehisi Coates sparks debate over Black Americans still being denied an opportunity to own a piece of the American Dream. He is right, Black Americans are still the most discriminated and likely most segregated.

Ta-Nehisi Coates sparked a firestorm. The American writer, journalist, and educator. Coates is a senior editor for The Atlantic, as well as a blogger for that publication's website (writing on culture, social issues, and politics).

Conservatives were pissed that Coates would write about "US BLACK FOLKS" getting our "40 ACRES AND A MULE". Honestly, if ever that day would come, most of us young folks would have trouble obtaining even a slight amount of dues.

I mean for how many of them "FREED BLACKS" got their property snatched up. When them "FREED BLACKS" were kidnapped and sold into slavery, it took even more years to regain their dignity and freedom.

Since the 20th Century, White America has grown more diverse. Now in the 21st Century, it's getting a whole lot Browner and those in the racist right are going down.

One by one, some are dying off. It's hard to imagine that even with the first Black president, it's still a touchy subject to even mention reparations. There's nothing worse than an opinion that riles up the racists.

In his piece featured in the Atlantic, he wrote citing an investigation by the Associated Press telling about properties owned by Blacks being snatched up. He stated that in 2001 the Associated Press published a three-part investigation into the theft of black-owned land stretching back to the antebellum period.

The series documented some 406 victims and 24,000 acres of land valued at tens of millions of dollars. The land was taken through means ranging from legal chicanery to terrorism. “Some of the land taken from black families has become a country club in Virginia,” the AP reported, as well as “oil fields in Mississippi” and “a baseball spring training facility in Florida.”

He would add that even in Chicago and across the country, whites looking to achieve the American dream could rely on a legitimate credit system backed by the government. Blacks were herded into the sights of unscrupulous lenders who took them for money and for sport. “It was like people who like to go out and shoot lions in Africa. It was the same thrill,” a housing attorney told the historian Beryl Satter in her 2009 book, Family Properties. “The thrill of the chase and the kill.”

The implications are chilling. As a rule, poor black people do not work their way out of the ghetto—and those who do often face the horror of watching their children and grandchildren tumble back.

Even seeming evidence of progress withers under harsh light. In 2012, the Manhattan Institute cheerily noted that segregation had declined since the 1960s. And yet African Americans still remained—by far—the most segregated ethnic group in the country.

With segregation, with the isolation of the injured and the robbed, comes the concentration of disadvantage. An unsegregated America might see poverty, and all its effects, spread across the country with no particular bias toward skin color. Instead, the concentration of poverty has been paired with a concentration of melanin. The resulting conflagration has been devastating.

One thread of thinking in the African American community holds that these depressing numbers partially stem from cultural pathologies that can be altered through individual grit and exceptionally good behavior. (In 2011, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, responding to violence among young black males, put the blame on the family: “Too many men making too many babies they don’t want to take care of, and then we end up dealing with your children.” Nutter turned to those presumably fatherless babies: “Pull your pants up and buy a belt, because no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt.”) The thread is as old as black politics itself. It is also wrong. The kind of trenchant racism to which black people have persistently been subjected can never be defeated by making its victims more respectable. The essence of American racism is disrespect. And in the wake of the grim numbers, we see the grim inheritance.

This piece managed to rile up the conservatives.

Blacks are by far the most segregated in jobs, housing, and education. We still are perceived as "natural born criminals". With the turmoils facing a nearly lame duck like President Barack Obama, the conservatives are hoping to keep Blacks out of the White House.

To this day, Republicans aren't even concerned about Blacks. They wrote us off as part of the Democrat Plantation. There's no way to win us back says the strategists. Even if Stallmigo Rand Paul (R-KY) failed in his bid to win over those "BLACK FOLKS" who favor marijuana legalization.

Nonetheless Blacks can't move the needle forward. We have to do so with a spirit of unity. It's almost as hard to win support from Blacks even if you're Black.

Read Ta-Nehisi Coates piece and be inspired.

June Bug!

Job numbers show steady growth.

The jobs numbers for the month of May came out. I betcha that conservatives are going to whine about the numbers. After all, no amount of good will satisfy the agitators and those who support them.

Unemployment holds steady at 6.3% after it was revealed that 217,000 jobs were created.

CNBC reports that nonfarm payrolls grew at a pace in line with recent trends, rising 217,000 in May as the unemployment rate held steady at 6.3 percent, according to numbers released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Most of the job gains came on lower-paying industries as wages rose modestly, increasing 5 cents an hour to maintain the 2.1 percent growth over the past 12 months. Average hours worked came in flat at 34.5.

A broader measure of joblessness that includes those working part time for economic reasons and those who have quit looking remained elevated at 12.2 percent, though that was a low for the year and the best "U6" measure since October 2008.

Economists surveyed by Reuters expected 218,000 U.S. jobs were created last month, down from April's upwardly revised 288,000 addition. The unemployment rate had been expected at 6.4 percent.

Justin Bieber: Yo, Dawg, I Was Just Foolin!

Pop singer caught the blues.

The Canadian entertainer and notorious bad boy has once again put his problems out there for the public.

This time I guess he's trying to be just like "us Black folk". He apparently got in some serious trouble over the weekend after it was revealed that he told a racist joke involving the N-word.

I am also guessing in his inner circle, someone happened to drop that gem on the public for the right amount of money.

CNN reports that a video, posted to TMZ.com, the pop star, then 15, asks: "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?"

He answers his own question: "Run n*****, n*****, n*****, n*****," he says, imitating the sound of a chain saw. Then he laughs.

TMZ reported it got the video four years ago but decided against posting it then because of Bieber's age and because he "immediately told his friends what he did was stupid." It was reportedly shot backstage at a promotional event.

"As a young man, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was OK to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance," Bieber, now 20, said in a statement.

He added: "I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake. I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."

The video is the latest in a string of troubles for the star, who shot to fame as a fresh-faced teen.

There was a DUI arrest in Miami, an assault charge in Toronto and a felony vandalism probe in Los Angeles.

Also, the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating allegations that Bieber and other passengers aboard a charter flight from Canada to New Jersey's Teterboro Airport interfered with the flight crew.

None of the criminal charges that Bieber faces appear to threaten his freedom. Probation sentences, fines, community service and counseling are routinely given in such cases.

Opinion: Bieber, don't argue with the lawyers.

The entertainer currently lives in Atlanta and travels between there, Los Angeles and  his hometown of London, Ontario.

This year on the White House petition website, Bieber managed to earn over 270,000 signatures for him to have his American citizenship revoked. He has duel citizenship.

APPLE BEATS!

Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine sold Beats Audio to Apple. Jimmy Iovine will resign from Interscope.

As of today, Beats Audio is now part of the Apple.

In a historic move, Interscope CEO Jimmy Iovine and media mogul Dr. Dre will relinquish their role to join Apple for input on the next wave of creative products. This also means the end of an era for Iovine. He will leave the Interscope company he founded in the 1980s.

The announcement caps off weeks of speculation surrounding the deal, which will see Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre join Apple to play an unspecified role. Apple will pay $2.6 billion in cash and $400 million in equity that will vest over time, the company said. "I've always known in my heart that Beats belonged with Apple," music mogul Iovine said in a statement. "The idea when we started the company was inspired by Apple's unmatched ability to marry culture and technology. Apple's deep commitment to music fans, artists, songwriters and the music industry is something special.

John Janick will now take over the role as leader for Interscope. Iovine will step down from his chairmanship after the end of June.

Interscope, A&M and Geffen are part of the umbrella that Iovine had control over. The label talents included Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, The Black Eye Peas, Chief Keef, Madonna and Kendrick Lamar.

The Road That Led To West Kardashian!

She will always be known as Kim Kardashian. The controversial reality turd who gained fame from being Ray-J's first sex tape experience has married rap producer and entertainer Kanye West.

Her formal name is Kim Kardashian-West.

The two were married in a ceremony over in Italy. This being Mrs. West's third and Kanye's first.

They had a child earlier this year.

The evil paparazzi managed to leak out photos of the wedding. Nah, it's obtained from the E! Network.

The E! Network has a show called Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The show features that woman and her family.

My suspicions are growing about the possibility of the marriage being a sham. But I am just a hater and I don't care for both of them.

Anyway, I wish them well on their future.

Little sis, Khloe who is estranged from her dope head former NBA husband Lamar Odom went to the Instagram social network to show the proof.

The Pictures Of Fear!

The Nigerian extremist group claims they've held hostage 300 girls and women. They threaten to kill or sell them into sex slavery.

The junk food media has made Boko Haram a household name. The Nigerian extremist group with known ties to terrorism has been linked to the kidnapping of schoolgirls in a small rural village outside of Chibok.

The government aided by international forces must search about 1500 miles of land to find these hostages.

From Abuja to Washington, DC, the American people have shown compassion towards this.

The international community condemns this situation.

The students are being forced into Islam and into marriage with members of Boko Haram, with a reputed "bride price" of ₦2,000 each ($12.50/£7.50).

Many of the students were taken to the neighboring countries of Chad and Cameroon, with sightings reported of the students crossing borders with the militants, and sightings of the students by villagers living in the Sambisa Forest.

The forest is considered a refuge for Boko Haram. Local residents have been able to track the movements of the students with the help of contacts across north eastern Nigeria.

On May 2, the police said they were still unclear as to the exact number of students who were kidnapped. They asked parents to provide documents so an official count could be made since school records were damaged in the attack.

On May 4, the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, spoke publicly about the kidnapping for the first time, saying the government was doing everything it could to find the missing girls.

At the same time, he blamed parents for not supplying enough information about their missing children to the police.

On May 5, a video in which Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the kidnappings emerged. Shekau claimed that "Allah instructed me to sell them...I will carry out his instructions." and "Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves."

He said the girls should not have been in the school and instead they should be married since girls as young as nine are suitable for marriage.

Following the kidnapping incident, Boko Haram again abducted eight girls aged between 12–15 from northeast Nigeria.

At least 300 residents of the nearby town of Gamboru Ngala were killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants after Nigerian security forces had left the town to search for the kidnapped students.

On May 10, former Boko Haram negotiator, Shehu Sani stated that the group wanted to swap the abducted girls for its jailed members.

On May 11, Kashim Shettima, Governor of Borno State in Nigeria, said that he has sighted the abducted girls and that the girls were not taken across the borders of Cameroon or Chad.

On May 12, Boko Haram released a video showing about 130 kidnapped Girls clad in Burqah while it demanded prisoner exchange.

Developments continue as this story is covered here and through sources such as the Associated Press, Wikipedia and CNN.

NY State Controller Calls Melissa Harris-Perry A "Damn Dirty Ape!"

James Coughlan.jpeg
You dirty politician and your ignorant mouth.

Jim Coughlan is world class douche. The Dutchess County New York Controller is hoping to win another term as a state senator. Somehow his words will come back to haunt him.

Word got out that the politico made some nasty comments about MSNBC (Obama News) host Melissa Harris-Perry on the social networks.

The stupid politico sent a tweet telling Harris-Perry to “keep your stinking paws off my kid, you damned dirty ape.”

Coughlan made the comment in response to an ad that Melissa Harris-Perry made in which she made reference to the need for communities, not just parents, to take responsibility for the well-being of children.

Melissa Harris-Perry will respond to this. Trust me, she doesn't play around.
“We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we've always had kind of a private notion of children: ‘Your kid is yours, and totally your responsibility,’” Harris-Perry says in the ad that remains controversial among conservatives.

Last year, Harris-Perry done a bumper for her network and she made the comments that sparked a firestorm.

A few words got the racist right riled up. And to top that, she didn't do anything wrong to begin with.

Coughlan claims that he didn't intend on saying something considered racist. He didn't know the commentator was a "BLACK" person.

Yeah, right!

Republicans said they fear his Twitter history could keep them from regaining a Senate seat they long-held until two years ago.

Melissa Harris-Perry is a feature on weekends from 10 am to noon. She also is a professor of political science at Turlane University.

will.i.am Appears On GOP Sundays!

Mega producer will.i.am makes a debut on Meet The Press.

What's more hipper than adding an entertainer who produced one of the most successful hip-hop/pop albums in history?

I must have missed this. The Black Eye Peas frontman will.i.am managed to secure a spot on GOP Sundays.

I mean this is one for the record books. I mean never in my day has an entertainer who has ties to the hip-hop community be a feature on GOP Sundays. Something is going wrong over at NBC News.

will.i.am is an avid supporter of President Barack Obama. He was the co-writer and feature of the "Yes We Can" video that sponsored endorsement of Obama in 2008.

Obviously the racist right wasn't happy about an entertainer talking about politics. Especially an entertainer who helped Obama win twice.

The entertainer was there to talk about his charity, the White House Correspondence Dinner, the president job approval and the Republican obsession with Benghazi.

My question to the people on Twitter: If you're so upset over will.i.am being on Meet The Press, how about you change the channel?

Isn't the entertainer an American too?

Do you believe just because he's a hip-hop producer, you believe he'll be on Meet The Press talking about being a "gangsta" and saying "NIGGA"?

For those who aren't familiar, will.i.am does follow the news. Is it because he's an entertainer? Or he's Black?

I mean you gotta admit, its better than see Rev. Perm on. Or that douche bag George Will. Ma even chickenshit Bill Kristol

Wondering when the ax will fall on the embattled Sunday NBC news host. The controversial host have been long targeted as a the potential downfall of news programs. Every Sunday morning before I head to my two jobs, I often turn on the Sunday morning political news programs to find out the outlook of Washington.

Every Sunday either on NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox is an old White person with an "R" next to his name.

David Gregory, the host of Meet The Press is facing a tough year. Bob Schieffer over at CBS is gaining on him. George Stephanopoulos and the smirking chimp Chris Wallace gotten better as well. NBC executives are warning Gregory that if he doesn't change the direction of the show, he's out!

One thing I would love to tell David Gregory is basically stop giving more airtime to Republicans who are perennial agitators. The fool allows Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, Darrell Issa, Michele Bachmann, Peter King, John McCain, Mike Rogers, Paul Ryan, and Lindsey Graham on to make complete assholes of themselves.

Pretty much politcos with limited accomplishments in office get more airtime than an accomplished politico.

There's not many of color on those programs. There's not many women on the programs.

Norah O'Donnell is looking to take Schieffer's spot when he eventually retires. CBS is gambling on her like ABC did when they've hired CNN anchor Christine Amanpour.

will.i.am appears on Interscope Records and will.i.am Music Group.
Black Eyes Peas appears on Interscope.

Here's the video.

Chris Hayes Takes On Bundy Supporter!

Right wing rancher threatens armed assault on the federal government. In his mind, he didn't violate the federal lands. So he kept on allowing his cattle graze on the land. When the government grabbed the cattle, the rancher and his supporters stood in the way with firearms in toll.

A Nevada legislator is a supporter of right wing activist Cliven Bundy. She goes to All In With Chris Hayes to spar with the liberal agitator over the controversy involving Bundy and the federal government's round up of his cattle.

Cliven Bundy is Nevada rancher who constantly kept violating the United States Bureau of Land Management's order to keep his cattle off the land. He refused to pay bills to the US government for his cattle grazing on federal lands near Bunkerville, Nevada. Bundy was eventually prohibited from grazing his cattle on the land by an order issued in 1998 by the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in United States v. Bundy.

After years of repeated violations of multiple court orders, in early April 2014 the BLM began rounding up Bundy's cattle that were trespassing on the land, confronted by protesters and armed supporters of Bundy.

Michele Fiore shows her pistol and beauty.
Media personalities have weighed in on the confrontations. During the stand-off Bundy was interviewed (via remote link) by television host That Guy Who Helped Obama Win.

That asshole stated that some fear events could wind up mirroring the Waco siege and Ruby Ridge and asked how far Bundy was willing to take his cause, he replied "my statement to the American people (is), I’ll do whatever it takes to gain our liberties and freedom back."

Talk radio show host, Tea Party activist, and former Illinois Representative Joe Walsh also supported the protesters.

Walsh, who traveled to the area and stood by Cliven Bundy as the BLM released the cattle, described the outcome as "talk radio, social media, grassroots activists, and boots-on-the-ground patriots joined together...[&] overcame the tyranny of big government."

Walsh added "we should be smart enough to know that this isn't the end. The BLM could easily show up again tomorrow, next week, or next month. ...We must be vigilant."

Assemblywoman Michele Fiore is a Republican legislator from the Las Vegas area.

A woman who's partly Italian and Latina, Fiore is an active member of the Tea Party movement. She likes to flaunt around her beauty and her many pistols.

She didn't follow the byline of what happened in reality. She would just open her damn mouth insert foot in.

Chris Hayes decides to call her on her bluff and sparks fly.

The Raw Story reports that Fiore was in Bunkerville showing her support for the rancher. She defends this standoff with the right wing rancher and the federal government.

“I’m not saying I agree with Cliven Bundy, I’m saying the way this was handled was really suspicious,” state Assembly member Michelle Fiore (R) told Hayes. “When in the heck do we send our federal government with arms to collect a bill? When do we do that? When have we ever done that? I mean, literally, if we sent our federal government to the borders to secure them against terrorist crossing, hey, I got that. But they want to come here with arms because cows are grazing?”

Fiore spoke with Hayes from outside Bunkerville, Nevada, where a crowd has formed in support of Bundy. The government holds that Bundy has refused to pay federal grazing fees for two decades, incurring a debt of more than $1 million after losing several court battles.
Right wing militia stands off with U.S. Federal Authorities.
After Bundy declared he he would give the government a “range war,” the dispute led to a stand-off between his supporters — many of whom arrived with firearms — and officials from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), who later left the area.

But Fiore accused the bureau of “coming up” with the fees in 1993 over unspecified damages, and cut Hayes off when he was about to mention that Bundy’s supporters were armed. Hayes also showed footage of one of them openly discussing being willing to kill or be killed by BLM officials during the stand-off.

“Chris, do you want them coming to your house pointing guns at your wife and children? Is that okay with you?” Fiore asked. “Because it’s defnitely not okay with me, it’s not okay with Americans across the United States.”

“Is it okay with you if every rancher in the country stopped paying their grazing fees?” Hayes asked.

“No, it’s not okay,” Fiore responded.

“Well, that’s the issue, right?” Hayes said.

“Great,” Fiore replied. “Lien the cows. Lien the property. Don’t come here with guns and expect the American people not to fire back.”

Fiore did not mention that conservative media outlets have been keen to cheerlead for future conflicts between the Bundy ranch and federal officials.

But when Hayes asked Fiore if she would support any undocumented immigrants who felt it best to have their own armed supporters on hand to resist deportation efforts, Fiore did not answer.
Chris Hayes goes to battle with Nevada legislator.
“Are we talking about cows, or are we talking about illegal immigration?” she asked, instead. “I’m talking about cows.”

“I’m talking about human beings,” Hayes retorted. “Which seems to me even more important.”

“Human beings that, thank God, did not get slaughtered,” Fiore told Hayes. “Cows did get slaughtered out here.”

“What is gonna happen to those cows later on?” Hayes asked her.

“Are you saying it’s okay to cruelly slaughter them because they’re raised for beef?” Fiore shot back. “Is that what you’re saying? I would retract those statements, because it’s pretty sad, Chris.”

“Don’t put words in my mouth,” Hayes said.

Colbert Gets The Late Night Spot!

The best decision for Late Night.

Clear front runner.

The Comedy Central satirist is going to be in the late night chair soon. After David Letterman retires, it's clear that Stephen Colbert will take the mantle of Late Night on CBS.

Announced today, CBS president Les Moonves was proud that the comedian will take the seat where Dave sat for over 20 years.

"Stephen Colbert is one of the most inventive and respected forces on television," CBS Chairman and CEO Les Moonves said in a statement Thursday. "David Letterman's legacy and accomplishments are an incredible source of pride for all of us here, and today's announcement speaks to our commitment of upholding what he established for CBS in late night."
Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart mock the controversial New Yorker magazine cover of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. The New Yorker was trying to make note of the racist right's attacks on the Obamas. Turns out that did more harm than good.
The 49-year-old Colbert, who signed a five-year deal, said in a statement: "Simply being a guest on David Letterman's show has been a highlight of my career. I never dreamed that I would follow in his footsteps, though everyone in late night follows Dave's lead. I'm thrilled and grateful that CBS chose me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go grind a gap in my front teeth."

Colbert's premiere date will be revealed after Letterman figures out a timetable for his final episodes. According to CBS, "Late Show" creative elements, as well as the producers and the location for the Colbert-hosted "Late Show" will be announced at a later date.
Colbert in character. The Comedy Central host of The Colbert Report will end in 2015. He will take the mantle of Late Night when David Letterman retires.
The news will leave a big gap in the lineup at Comedy Central, which has aired "The Colbert Report" since 2005. The network issued the following statement Thursday: "Comedy Central is proud that the incredibly talented Stephen Colbert has been part of our family for nearly two decades. We look forward to the next eight months of the ground-breaking 'Colbert Report' and wish Stephen the very best."

"The Colbert Report" has earned two Peabody Awards and 27 Emmy nominations. In 2013, it scored the Emmy for outstanding variety series. The series took home Emmy wins for outstanding writing for a variety, music or comedy program in 2008, 2010 and 2013.

Before hosting his own show, Colbert rose to fame as a correspondent on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."

O'Reilly's Feud With Barbara Lee Continues!

O'Loofus found his new Ludacris. This one is a Democratic representative from California.

Looks like it's O'Loofus back to his old ways. The conservative agitator now picks fights with lawmakers who he believes are "race hustlers". Instead of promoting that vile garbage he calls rap music, the kingmaker of cable agitation now sets his sights on California congresswoman Democrat Barbara Lee.

O'Loofus and his network Loserville have made it their goal to undermine President Barack Obama and help the inept Republicans take full control of the Congress. The Republicans if proven are posed to recapture the U.S. Senate.

The Republicans are hoping that they can win enough votes (i.e. Angry White Folks) to rebound after a devastating loss in the 2012 presidential elections.

It's bad enough they had to run on this "I won't work with Obama meme", but they've tied their whole campaign around the Affordable Healthcare Act. They are so fixated on Obamacare and will continue these wasted votes long after today's deadline for enrollment.

O'Loofus is so tired of Black leaders singling him and many other conservative agitators as "racist".

Last week Wisconsin Republican congressman and former vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan made comments on Bill "If We Abort Black Babies Then Crime Will Go Down" Bennett's program derailing on intercity folks not working and wanting "da gubmint sugar daddy" to help them.

Lee didn't find that comment amusing and sent out a press release saying that Ryan should apologize for his statements.
Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) would love to debate O'Loofus. Unfotunately he's such a punk. He'll never allow her on his show because he'll have to take blood pressure meds to keep him from shouting.
To "us Black folk", you don't have to blow the whistle to get our ears ringing. You just have to be a stupid ass Republican. The privileged Ryan and his former running mate perennial loser Mitt Romney continue to be anchors around the necks of potential losers for the 2016 presidential elections.

For you see Republicans like Ryan, Romney and O'Loofus are typical old White men who fear change.

They would never set foot in a Black neighborhood.

They would never experience the joys of Black culture.

They would get their generalizations from those in the news media (i.e O'Loofus' employer Loserville).

They inspire bigots to openly attack others because of race, gender, sexuality, religion, political and economic standings.

They put in the heads of mush mouths (i.e. Romeo Rose), that Blacks are criminals. Blacks are whiners. Blacks take from the White man. Blacks vote for Obama because he's like them. You know the usual word vomit that keeps them continuously in the red when it comes to minority outreach.

O'Loofus had Ryan defend his comments. Ryan cautiously walked back some of his comments and said that Lee was a "personal friend" and "he was a big boy about the criticism".

O'Loofus wasn't. He had the nerve to call her a race hustler, a liar, a pinhead and a member of the PC crew who wants to throw race in every aspect of an event that happens in America.

Lee didn't waste time knocking the agitator. Saturday on Media Matters Radio on SiriusXM, the California congresswoman stated that (Loserville, O'Loofus, That Guy Who Helped Obama Win and Megyn The Outrage Princess) are the right's decoders. O'Loofus is using coded words, she declared.

She said, “We need to hear more from people of conscience,” and admitted that when people like O’Loofus rail against people like herself, “some people could be intimidated” and feel they shouldn't speak out. Lee insisted on the importance of moving past “anger and hostility” and engaging in a real dialogue.

She basically saying "put me on the show". I'll debate your accusations.

She was a single mother who lived on food stamps before she would run for Congress. She would participate with Ohio Democratic congressman Tim Ryan and Minnesota Democratic congressman Keith Ellison for the Food Stamp Challenge.

Many lawmakers can tell you that the safety net is very important. Without that safety net, you would see those who need the safety net kill you to survive.

Here's an audio from Media Matters Radio.

And of course O'Loofus attacking Lee after she respond the first time to his racial bias.

ABC Sitcom May Offend The Asian-American Community!

Actor Hudson Yang plays a mock version of celebrity chef Eddie Huang in the upcoming ABC sitcom Far East Orlando. The sitcom is based off the book Fresh Off The Boat.

Since the days of actress/comedian Margaret Cho with her hit sitcom All-American Girl, the American Broadcasting Company decides to rehash another sitcom based off the life of an Asian American.

Celebrity hip-hop cook Eddie Huang's book Fresh Off The Boat is being spun into a 2014 sitcom.

Mediaite reports that ABC has called the show Far East Orlando.

The sitcom has pissed off Eddie Huang and many others in the Asian American community.

Huang born in Washington, DC but grew up in Orlando wrote Fresh Off The Boat to share his experiences growing up there.
Eddie Huang, hip-hop chef.
The tittle itself "FAR EAST" is pretty offensive to say at least.

The show isn't being taped in the gun crazy state of Florida.

It's being written by people who have no clue about the life of Eddie Huang.

ABC so far has no comment about the title but could we be hopeful that they change the tittle?

Huang went to Twitter to express outrage over the sitcom.

Any thoughts to this sitcom?

Touré: 28 Days Isn't Black History!

Obama News commentator slams the racist right for the notion of White History Month!

The racist right is unnerved over the fact that non-White interracial births are rising.

They've often attack the Black community and President Barack Obama for "ruining" America.

They blame us for grabbing "gubmint gibbs mes" and beating up on "da man".

And of course we're rewarded for our antics! We got Black History Month in February.

For the 28 (or 29) days in the smallest month of the year, Black Americans gather to post their achievements and remind "da man" that we've contributed to the greatness of this country.

The Cycle co-host Touré delivered a commentary that attempted to explain one of the enduring mysteries of Black History Month, and which included a modest proposal to give white people some way of gaining an advantage from their race.

Touré is up to the task, comparing the question to “fish not noticing water,” and quoting Chauncey de Vega of We Are Respectable Negroes comparing white angst over the month to “being a kid with all the toys in the world, and going to a birthday party and getting mad because another kid got a toy.”

Never one to simply curse the darkness, or blackness in this case, Touré offers up a solution: a “Race Card” for white people. The card would allow white people to use their race to get an advantage, and as Touré says, “it can be used at job sites, shopping malls, police stops, wherever where race matters.”

“The genius of it is that works just as white privilege does,” he continues. “You need do nothing to activate it. The advantage happens automatically, just like White History Month happens automatically.”

Wrong Way! [NSFW]

Deadly consequences for lives lost to reckless driving under the influence of alcohol.

In California and of course Florida, two incident where drivers had an opportunity to think before they drive turned out to be deadly.

In Pomona, California, a wrong way driver ended up killing six when her poor decision to drink and drive caused a terrible incident.

Police arrested the 21-year-old female driver on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and felony manslaughter in connection with the 4:40 a.m. accident on the westbound Pomona freeway, or State Route 60, in Diamond Bar, said Rodrigo Jimenez, a California Highway Patrol spokesman on the scene, who spoke to the Los Angeles Times.

The female driver was in serious condition at a Los Angeles County hospital with a broken femur and a ruptured bladder, Jimenez said.

Authorities were seeking blood tests.

Investigators "believe from what they found in the vehicle that alcohol was involved," Los Angeles County Coroner's Lt. Fred Corral told the newspaper.

Jimenez said the woman was traveling east in a red Chevy Camaro when it collided head-on with a red Ford Explorer. The sequence of events involving the other vehicles was not immediately clear. At least two people were ejected from their vehicles, Jimenez said.

Four people were pronounced dead at the scene, and two people died at an area hospital, authorities said. The freeway lanes in both directions were closed for hours Sunday.

Jimenez told the newspaper as he stood near the crumpled vehicles that it was "a horrific collision."

"This tragedy is 100 percent preventable," he said.
Friends and family mourn the lost of University of South Florida students.
And this wasn't the half of the problems. In Tampa, Florida, a group of young men died when the driver went the wrong way on Interstate 275 near the city. It turned out to be filmed by some eye catchers.

The driver of an SUV was heading south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 275 in Tampa around 2 a.m. Sunday when the driver collided head-on with the Hyundai Sonata carrying the fraternity brothers. Authorities say the SUV burst into flames and the driver died at the scene. FHP officials were struggling to identify the male victim late Sunday because of extensive injuries from the fire.

Sergeant Steve Gaskins said all four victims in the second car also died at the scene. They were members of the University of South Florida's fraternity Sigma Beta Rho. Authorities identified the victims as: Jobin Joy Kuriakose, 21, Ankeet Harshad Patel, 22, Imtiyaz "Jim" Ilias, 20 and Dammie Yesudhas, 21.

"Mere words cannot convey the depth of shock and sadness this terrible event brings to all who knew and cherished these wonderful young men," USF President Judy Genshaft said in a statement.

The university's counseling center will be available to help students' struggling with the loss. Sigma Beta Rho is planning an on-campus memorial service later in the week. Details will be available on the university's website, school officials said.
University of South Florida mourns the lost of five fraternity brothers. One of the frat brothers drove on Interstate 275 in the wrong direction.
"Our hearts are heavy at the loss of such bright, energetic and optimistic young people who had promising futures ahead of them; to have their lives cut tragically short betrays our sense of fairness and security," Genshaft said. "Now is the time when our faith and the support of those closest to us can sustain us, and should in tribute to their spirit of friendship and brotherhood."

Authorities said they are investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in these senseless tragedies.

40 Year Old Rappers Bury The Beef!

Hip-Hop isn't dead. It's just getting ready to obtain its AARP card! Jeezy and Rozay bury the hatchet.

While Papa Jeezy is preparing for a legal fight after a dispute with his own son, he decides to bury the hatchet with longtime foe Rick Ross.

Sometime ago, the Snowman got into it with Rozay at the BET Awards and it made it through the racist right social networks. Now these two are in the studio working on a single for Rozay's Mastermind album. The album is highly anticipated this year and it seems like there's no business like the show business.

Rappers are putting their ego aside (for now) and decide to make the music, worth the buy!

People couldn't understand what drove this feud to the brink of almost becoming a violent event?

Well we can thank Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, the king of feuding.

Fat Joe and 50 Cent.
He's feud with Jeezy, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, The Game, Young Buck, Ja Rule and others. He can't help himself! 50 enjoys the limelight.

But now at album time, he's been pushed back farther than a messed up hairline. His long delayed Street King Immortal is indefinitely suspended. It seems like his days at Interscope may soon come to an end.

Now I've heard that 50's decided to bury the hatchet with Fat Joe. I know that DJ Kay Slay has brought them together. I mean they were both managed by the late rap mogul Chris Lighty.

As some of your favorite rappers prepare for the milestone of 40 years old, some these entertainers are squashing the beef.

I've heard this story all the time. A rap feud where one calls out another over a dispute. It's been there done that. It's a part of the entertainment complex where rappers continue to brag about their "cred" and how they can motivate those albums sales.

I've seen it through the rap feuds. Notable acts involved in feuds include Dr. Dre, Ice Cube against NWA, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Benzino, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, 50 Cent, Ja Rule, The Game, Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil' Wayne, Pusha T, Nas and Jay-Z.

Nowadays, as they get older, the beef stuff is getting old and people aren't buying into the macho cred!
