Pelosi Calls For An End Of Weapon Shipments To Israel!

Friends tells their friends when they're drunk.

Only three months ago, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Speaker Emeritus told Code Pink leader Madea Benjamin and pro Palestinian protesters to go back to China. She has taken over $2.1 million from AIPAC. Pelosi also stated that the U.S. has no "greater friend" than Israel.

It's "ironclad."

She also scolded Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after she tweeted "All about the Benjamins" when it comes to AIPAC and lawmakers.

Seeing President Joe Biden and poll numbers decline must have woken up the former speaker.

She once said that Israel won't be a wedge issue. Well when the party's core base stated that it's time for Democrats to sever ties with the ethno-state of Israel, I guess after 35,000 dead Palestinians, 1,000 dead humanitarian and numerous international crimes, now comes a change.

It is a major wedge issue and Democrats know that it may be too late to bring them home.

Israel isn't about "bringing them home." If any of these hostages survived, they are either dead from Israeli friendly fire or in the most likely case, indiscriminate bombings.

The Israeli government is 100% liable for all the hostages being dead and the ceasefire talks to be ignored.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Rep. Fredrica Wilson (D-FL) will pay a price for their insufferable support of Israel.

Fetterman will face the most backlash and come 2028, I will personally make sure he is primaried.

More than 30 Democratic members of the US House of Representatives have called for a full halt to the transfer of weapons to Israel, in a letter to President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“In light of the recent strike against aid workers and the ever-worsening humanitarian crisis, we believe it is unjustifiable to approve these weapons transfers,” read the letter signed on Friday.

Pelosi joined the Democrats who opposed more funding to Israel.

Pressure has been mounting on the White House and Western governments to stop arming Israel with no let-up in the Israeli military’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip, where the death toll since October has crossed 33,000. There appear to be dim prospects of a ceasefire and no progress in getting more humanitarian aid into the enclave where famine has set in, despite Israel pledging to reopen a crossing to northern Gaza.

This week Israel said it will reopen the Beit Hanoon (Erez) crossing with northern Gaza for aid, hours after a warning from Biden for it to take steps to protect civilians and humanitarian workers following the Israeli military’s strikes on US-based food charity World Central Kitchen (WCK).

“While we appreciate your administration’s recent efforts to increase the delivery of desperately needed humanitarian aid to Gaza, these efforts will not be sufficient to meet the extraordinary need on the ground,” the letter read.

The legislators also called on the Biden administration to conduct its own investigation into the Israeli attack that killed seven WCK members in central Gaza.

On Friday, the Israeli military dismissed two officers and formally reprimanded senior commanders after an inquiry into the aid workers’ deaths found serious errors and breaches of procedure.

“Over 200 aid workers have been killed since the start of the war. These attacks and deaths are having a chilling effect with the World Central Kitchen and other humanitarian groups now suspending their operations in Gaza,” the letter noted.

Hassan Barari, a professor at Qatar University’s Department of International Affairs, said the letter represents a “change in the American scene”, adding that “the whole Democratic party is moving to adopt this position, so it has become a mainstream position”.

The United Nations Human Rights Council on Friday adopted a resolution calling for Israel to be held accountable for possible war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza, and demanding a halt to all arms sales to the country.

While countries like Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain and Belgium have suspended arms sales to Israel, several other Western nations continue to supply lethal weapons despite mounting criticism over the growing civilian casualties.

The United States has supplied the bulk of Israel’s defence requirements, including 2000-pound bunker-buster bombs. This year, the US Congress also approved an additional $14bn military aid package to Israel.

Barari told Al Jazeera that “I think it is genuine pressure, given what Israel has been doing, but at the same time, we have to remember that the international community has been complicit with all these Israeli massacres and genocide”.

In the United Kingdom, opposition parties and some parliamentarians from the governing Conservative Party, as well as hundreds of lawyers and judges have demanded that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stop selling weapons to Israel.

Al Jazeera was also in the crosshairs of the Israeli regime. The Knesset has passed a law that bans any media agency that implicates Israel in a hostile way. They have targeted journalists in Gaza and the West Bank. They have openly attacked facilities that cover the news including Reuters and Associated Press.

It's not China. Not Russia. Not Venezuela. Not Cuba. Not Iran. It is Israel that is meddling in the U.S. elections. President Joe Biden and former president Donald J. Trump are bootlickers to a foreign country that influences their idiotic policies.

José Andrés, chef and co founder of the World Central Kitchen is angry over Israel's deliberate airstrike on humanitarian aid workers.

Israel for way too long has manipulated me with this endless victimhood. All the while pushing for an ethno-nationalist state, Israeli government leaders [both left and right] have called for the eradication of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

The operatives have operated with shell agencies like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the Anti-Defamation League. These organizations operated at the behest of Israel.

Israel has been pushing for more support in its genocide of the Palestinians. So far, they have fanned outrage over TikTok, Al Jazeera, X, octopuses, buttons, protests at synagogues, protests at Holocaust museums, blocking roads, blocking bridges, boycotting companies and calling for international sanctions.

Israel keeps calling it an attack on Jewish people and it amounts to antisemitic propaganda.

Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.

We need to put pressure on Republicans and Democrats to do something to improve everyone's lives.

Keep pressure on them with Israel.

Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.

They are feeling it. Democrats know the risk of supporters being turned off by their policies. They know that Biden is under extreme pressure to do something. Arab Americans, Muslim and young voters have vowed to never back Biden putting his reelection chances in danger.

The call number to the White House and U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official White House numbers 202-456-1111 and 202-456-1414. This is the Congress official phone number, 202-224-3121. Please be respectful to operators, staff members and elected leaders. Your calls are monitored by the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Capitol Police.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. Let them know that bans on TikTok are bans on free speech. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism. We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists.

If anyone trolls you about condemning Hamas for Oct. 7, 2023, kindly ignore them or respectfully tell them that Israel has committed an illegal occupation of Gaza, East Jerusalem, Golan Heights and the West Bank. They shoot innocent civilians and indiscriminately bomb heavily populated areas in Gaza and the West Bank.

Will you condemn the actions of Israel if I have to condemn Hamas?
